You don’t have to be around very long before you hear that Jesus calmed a great storm by saying “Peace be still.” I think there is more to the story. We can begin by comparing boarding a boat to our Christian journey. When we first accept Jesus as Lord of our lives, this is the time we get on the boat so to speak. We are excited about the journey and feel that there is nothing that we can not accomplish. Nothing will get us down or cause us to become discouraged. But just like the disciples, here comes the storm.
