I try something different as I record in pieces across several days and capture my thoughts on spirits in the Spirit Woods of Fellmyr and cycles that these spirits go through. This begins the dive into the Talislanta RPG. I will (eventually) cover all six free editions. The goal is to give you, the listener, an idea of the Talislanta system, the world of Talislanta (No Elves!!), and my thoughts as I read through the main books of the Talislanta RPG.

Making the listeners wait for months to hear me speak has loosened their tongues! Wherein you will hear a conversation/interview with my uncle. I ask him questions about reading Sci-Fi and Fantasy in the early days and we go through several other things in under an hour. Reading the Hobbit to the Minions, I came across a passage that has me feeling that many people playing RPGs are making the demi-humans more heroic than they were intended. Should a GM be a bit more strict in how these dwarves, elves, gnomes, halflings, and other demi-humans are played? There it is. Discuss.

Wherein I get Minion Bravo to assist with a physical test of distance over time. I raise an issue with movement and time in D&D and we do an experiment to help us both see if the rules hold up or trip before they get to the finish line. Afterwards, some discussion about the results and how they can relate to our games. And yes, I did have to edit out one of the Minion's name in the recording.

Another interview with Minion Delta, this time getting her view on caves and character backgrounds. As she was trapped in the car as we ran an errand, you can tell how much she just loves these snap, surprise podcast interviews. Well, we had already talked about the day after I picked her up from band practice and picked up groceries, what else could we have done?
