Since 1997-2006, David Van Essen served as a Chaplain at Smith Creek (previously Westside Care. He was also a Social Worker there as well from 2001 to 2006. He also served at Village at Mill Creek (previously Stillwater’s) from 1997-2016 and was also a Social Worker there from 2006-2016); and served as Chaplain at Sun Pointe Village from its opening in 2000 until 2010.
David shares with us what he has learned over the years about visiting with residents, record keeping, and serving those struggling with dementia.
