We are a non-denominational, missions-minded Christian fellowship, afiliated with Calvary Chapel, and we have a huge passion to reach this world for Christ. Pastor Billy Rutledge preaches from the whole Word of God as we meet for worship on our small island off the coast of North Carolina. Our website is located at http://www.hichristianfellowship.org
Jesus - blindfolded and mocked
Although Jesus was blindfolded, He could see everything and knew who had struck Him.
Jesus and the Father is OneJesus cried out and said "He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me."
John 7:19-36
Christ continues his answer to the Jews as they marvel at His authority. He tells them His authority is from the Father, the Father has sent Him and that He would be going back to the Father.
The Rapture
Jesus' coming for His Church should be motivating us to evangelism.
Are you ready???

Rise Up and Walk
In John 5:1 -14, Jesus is at the pool (Bethesda) where a multitude of sick people, blind, lame and paralyzed waited for their healing at the movement of the water in the pool. Jesus sees the man who had been paralyzed for 38 years and asks him, "Do you want to be made well"? After the man's excuses for why he wasn't well, Jesus tells him "Rise, take up your bed and walk". In other words, take up your circumstance and walk. What is Jesus commanding us to do that is impossible. Remember why John is writing this letter - John 20:31 - "but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name".
"Unless You People See Signs and Wonders, You Will By No Means Believe"
Jesus gave the nobleman His Word - "Go your way, your son lives" - now it was up to the man to take His Word and be obedient. The Word says the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and he went his way.

Zeal for Your House Will Consume Me
John continues to present Jesus as the Savior of the world - giving us confidence of the One and True source of our salvation. Jesus is in at the temple - in the court of the Gentiles. God was being misrepresented there and Jesus had some house cleaning He needed to do. When God is being shamed, do we stand up for Him?
