The holiday season is closing in, and things seem to be slowing down on the water just a little bit. There are some good catches if you're looking for Tarpon or scooping up some bugs though. But there are two big highlights in this episode. First, we have the winner of Operation Sailfish live to chat with our crew about the big win. And with the holiday season in mind, one of our captains reads us a fishing poem that wraps up the wonderful South Florida fishing scene perfectly.

This week, we're all hands on deck with the Boat Show. We get great reports about the festivities going on throughout the community. The weather has been great as well, which is perfect timing for the Boat Show. This time of year is the reason why people move to South Florida.
All of South Florida has been dealing with rough winds, so the fishing this week was more of a chore than pleasure. Things were a bit easier over on the Gulf Coast, and down in the Keys, they were getting hit with a great deal of rain. The bright spot on the horizon is the upcoming Boat Show, and we have plenty of details to get you hooked for this great event.
There were rough seas all week, so we have some interesting stories in this show. However, freshwater fishing inland was a great alternative for one captain. And down in the Keys, they never got the rough seas. But the one thing we kept hearing was to keep calm when you have a fish on the line in those choppy waters.
After Hurricane Matthew made its move last week, we hear great variety of fishing stories from our captains on today's show. There are a lot of bait fish down in the Keys from the storm, and snow crab season has begun. The bad news is, the seas have been rough for our "bug" fishers out there. Otherwise, the stories have been interesting after the storm has passed.
