From Olympic medals to traditional crowns, our world is teeming with various competitions. Some are driven by the desire to win, while others aim for specific goals such as relationships, finances, or societal status. We all seek victories in different aspects of life. However, what victories truly matter? Often, chasing these goals leads us to fleeting rewards that lack lasting significance. Find out in this message what is the true crown we need to be pursuing in life.
We all are faced with temptations from the enemy. But we don't have to fall into sin. In this teaching we learn how to come up with a safeguard strategy to overcome the temptation when it arises.
The Bible talks about how we are in a fight. This fight is not against people but is a spiritual battle. It is crucial not to be passive in dealing with the devil. Understanding his strategies and how he tries to steer us away from the fulfilling life God intends for us is essential. Jesus sacrificed Himself to grant us power over the devil and his deceitful ways.
Wisdom is so valuable in changing your mindset. Accumulating wisdom is crucial for transforming your outlook on life. It serves as the bridge between your current state and your aspirations. By aligning your mindset with your desires, you can manifest success and achieve your goals effectively.
Our lives are meant to be lived to the fullness of what God originally designed us for. We so often fill our lives to the brim, don't take care of ourselves and eat and sleep poorly and then wonder why we are dry, empty and full of anxiety and depression. It's time to make some intentional decisions and rise to the occasion and grab hold of the health and wholeness God has for you and your life. It's worth pursuing.
Do you struggle to express yourself in worship? Do you wonder why people in church raise there hands or bow down low? Each and every person is responsible to give their authentic self to the Lord in worship. When He is Lord of our life and we keep Him in right position over our hearts it allows us to express ourselves freely in worship to God and to drown out the fear of what people around you might be thinking as you pursue Him genuinely.
God's desire is that we would live a life filled with the Holy Spirit's power. It's a free gift and it allows us to do all that God has prepared for us and to be all that He created and redeemed us to be. He is a good Father and wants to give you the Holy Spirit in fullest measure.
As an American people we take for granted so much of the blessings God has bestowed upon us as individuals and as a nation. It's our responsibility to be grateful and appreciate that our lives are so vastly better than most of the worlds population. Let's turn out hearts and use our mouths in thanksgiving in this season and see what God can do through our gratitude.
Do we know where our loyalty lies? Have we really decided in our hearts to follow Jesus despite all the other voices in the world? Let us walk with integrity and not be deceived in what the enemy would have us tangled up into.
So much of our success in walking with God hinges on humility. We should intentionally check our hearts often and engage the Lord in conversation about who we are and how He sees us. We cannot afford to have a thought in our mind about ourselves that's not in God's. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves it's getting an accurate picture from the Lord about who we are and partnering with that each and every day.
It's so important for us to learn how to have enduring faith through all the ups and downs of our lives. Our faith cannot be based on what is happening to us or around us and needs to be based on our connection and intimacy with God. It's time we dig deep and learn how to operate in and with God like faith.
It is always God's will to heal. Jesus healed every person brought to him at any given time. Jesus never made anyone jump through hoops for healing. The only people who Jesus healed are people who didn't deserve it, so stop trying to deserve it. Our self righteousness cannot gain us anything. We get to partner all that God has given us through Jesus.
Winning is bigger then a board game. Its overcoming the obstacles in life. Its continuing to move forward, its having peace , its continuing to function un hindered.
God is continuing in each season to stretch us and bring us into greater maturity in him. If we will position our hearts and be willing to have our limits tested we can walk in a much deeper and richer life with Jesus. Tune in for some great words of wisdom from Pastor Micah Shoeplein.
