In this episode I share with you couple of recent deals where a good friend and young investor padawan of mine partnered up.

We managed to get a "problem" house below market value, turned it into money maker rental, improved its value and leveraged the new equity into a second asset.

Both assets combined will bring insane cash returns, plus we generated about $500K in equity.
In this episode I share the strategy and real numbers, and while deals like this are not easy to get, they are out there. All you need is the right team next to you. From the best realtor in town (Chad Point) to the best broker and mentor.

Markets will always change and if you're flexible and bold enough, the opportunities are right there.

You can either see the problem in every deal, or see the profitable deal in every problem. Yes I just came up with that.

 Happy investing my friends!

In this episode I discuss the realities of being a landlord and whether or not landlords are just getting rich on the backs of hard working people or they are just regular people trying to make a good investment to improve their own family’s quality of life.

I break down typical numbers highlighting the risk and effort that it takes to become a landlord vs a renter and why some people just see us as slumlords.

I also share some personal stories about being a landlord to over 100 tenants and growing, including some tragic events and some feel-good moments.

I thank you for listening and as always please connect with me to let me know what you think or send me any questions you have.

In this episode I discuss Covid-19, other leading causes of death in this country, and my opinion on the approach taken by the Government and people in response to this crisis.

I will share my own family's history with immune compromising diseases, and how the fears we face today relate to me and impact the decisions I make on a daily basis. The fact is that our fears towards this virus can be relieved by becoming stronger humans with better immune systems.

I am very aware that my views and opinions aren't always reciprocated(mutual, shared), so please keep an open mind and feel free to contact me with your thoughts.

If you would like to listen to other people discuss similar topics and dive deeper with me, I suggest you check out Bulletproof Radio by Dave Asprey, Onnit, and James Lee.

Welcome to my very first episode. Here I will briefly introduce myself and share my story of how I went from growing up in Mexico with little to no means, and how that has shaped who I am today. I will also discuss my journey moving to Canada, retiring as an engineer in my 30s, and establishing a multimillion dollar real estate portfolio. I will also share a few of my passions and interests and in future episodes I will have some very interesting guests to discuss anything relevant happening in the world.

Remember, "the world doesn't owe you anything", and anything you want you can go and earn it.
