The Six Pack Sports boys are back. After a lengthy hiatus, Rakey and Birch are back on the airwaves to discuss some of things they'd like to see in the AFL's 2022 season, the NFL playoffs and how the NBA season is shaking out.
The AFL finals are here, so who is primed to take out the premiership? Leon and Justin are back to dissect all the match-ups, which players are primed to shine and their premiership tips. They then turn their attention to the Carlton fiasco, which has David Teague's job on a knife's edge and makes the inclusion of Freo wantaway Adam Cerra all the more murky. Finally, the lads cap off the podcast by picking their All-Australian sides from the recently-announced squad of 40.
Leon and Justin take a look at where teams stand in the AFL after 9 rounds, while delving into the Dockers' goal-kicking woes. Other topics include a big off-season looming for Essendon, Carlton's late-season prospects and what Oscar Allen is worth as he looms closer to signing an extension with West Coast. We then pivot across to the other side of the world, dissecting the NBA play-in tournament and making some NBA playoff predictions.

We then cast our gaze at the upcoming NBA season, with a tight race for playoff spots shaping out in the West. Finally, the lads finish off with a good old game of Real or Fake in the NFL.
Justin and Leon are back in action after a brief hiatus, and this week they are chatting all things AFL/NBA. In the footy, we break down some of the big moves from AFL Trade Period 2020 including Adam Treloar's move to the Western Bulldogs, wtf the Collingwood Football Club is up to and who we expect to move into finals contention in 2021. Here Justin talks about why Lachie Neale is so heavily favoured, and why he thinks no one can catch him. It's been a big week in the AFL and NBA and Rakey and Leon are back to talk all the latest. In the AFL, we're one week away from finals footy and we still have no clue what the match-ups are going to be. Leon desperately hopes his West Coast Eagles don't run into Collingwood, while the jostle for 8th place is on. Then we cross to the NBA, where Denver excelled and the Clippers choked in their semi final series. Meanwhile the Miami Heat continue to stack up playoff wins. Enjoy!
The boys are back, and the race for the AFL's top 8 is an interesting one to say the least. Plenty of contenders have turned in dismal performances over the past week, while others have seized their opportunities. Then switching to the NBA, they ponder whether Miami should be outright favourites in the Eastern Conference Finals and we see how the Western conference is shaking out.
This episode has the lads checking in on who is primed to play finals in the AFL, while also pondering a return to normal-length quarters next season. They also dive into the NBA playoffs, with plenty of praise for the Miami Heat and not so much for James Harden.
Are the Carlton Blues finally ready to break their finals drought? Rakey and Leon discuss that as well as the NBA boycott, how the playoffs are going and a look ahead to round 14 in the AFL.
This week in the AFL discussion the boys talk Tom Hawkins, James Rowbottom, Freo's ending against Carlton, Sam Walsh, the Saints' big win and an Eagles side in cruise control. Then we switch over to the NBA, with playoffs kicking off tomorrow. Some almighty match-ups have caught their eye, including Rakey's Blazers taking on the Lakers and the OKC v Houston series we were all hoping for. Enjoy!
Recorded on Monday, August 3: Leon and Rakey do their best to predict the winners for the next two rounds of AFL action as the "festival of footy" continues to roll on. Birch has broken away for a four-point lead in the tips. Meanwhile they also discuss the NBA's restart with a hot Houston Rockets doing their thing and San Antonio spurring themselves into the playoff hunt.
This week has the boys talking all about the West Coast Eagles after an impressive win against the Pies in round eight, while they also cast their eyes towards the in-progress round nine and place their tips. Leon has broken away there, so Rakey has some catching up to do. They boys also talk NBA restart and, as always, Dogwatch.
Leon and Justin break down how the Western Derby played out, while placing their tips for round 8 of the AFL season.
Justin (Freo) and Leon (West Coast) make the case for why their team can win this weekend's Western Derby, while also returning to their multi bet challenge. Dogwatch zeroes back in on Leon's soon-to-be prized greyhound Harper's Hero, and the lads place their tips for round seven of the AFL season.

The AFL is officially back this Thursday (June 11), so Justin and Leon discuss the news happening around the league and place their tips for round 2. The boys also discuss what they expect to see from the NBA upon return, and Leon brings you their newest segment, Dogwatch!
The AFL has set a return date, and while plenty remains unknown, Leon and Justin are taking a stab in the dark and making three predictions that they believe will play out when the season renews. Also, the boys discuss his airness Michael Jordan and The Last Dance.
Today's episode has Justin and Leon combing through the potential scenarios facing the AFL as footy continues towards a return, while also discussing the impact of Victorian bias in the league. It's been bad news for the NBL (and worse for the Wildcats) this week with two of the league's finest players opting out of their contracts, while the boys also catch up on the latest episodes of The Last Dance.
Leon and Justin dissect the possibility of the AFL's own Olympic village, while also touching on some of the topics to come out of the NFL draft. To round things out, the boys take a look at the Last Dance documentary and discuss what they took out of the MJ special.

Luke Hodge, Gary Ablett Jr, Chris Judd, Sam Mitchell: Who was the cream of the crop? This episode sees Justin and Leon re-drafting the 2001 AFL draft, a class that set up several teams for more than a decade with a supremely talented pool of players.
The AFL has changed a lot over the past 20 years, and the quality of grand finals has no doubt fluctuated at times. Here, in the latest episode of Six Pack Sports, Justin and Leon sit down to discuss their top five grand final matches since the year 2000 over a cold Endeavour Pale Ale, with a fair bit of West Coast, Hawthorn, Geelong and Sydney obviously in the mix.
Coronavirus may have cancelled all the sport we hold dear but fortunately Justin and Leon still have enough content to delve into as they wrap up the action from round one of the AFL over the weekend. They also chat about who wins in the Tom Brady/Tampa Bay saga and briefly touch on the NBL's decision to award the Perth Wildcats the 2019/20 championship.
