Dr. Mark Peters, Professor of Music and Department Chair at Trinity Christian College, joins us in the studio to talk about the importance of music in a Liberal Arts education and how it can positively alter your perspective of the world!
You've certainly seen the posters and designs all around campus. If you are wondering what OPUS is or what it will look like this year, than listen no further! Dr. Mattson joins us in the studio to give us a little insight into OPUS's origins at Trinity, what it will look like post-COVID, and much more!
Fellow Trinity Honors member Tony Reppmann joins Carter Sheehan in the studio to discuss a paper he wrote for an Honors Convention about Frankenstein, digging deep into the untold themes of this famed story and how it can relate to today's society.
We talked about one of the Interdisciplinary Inquiry classes on our last episode, but what other classes does the Honors Program give you the opportunity to take. Alyssa Kuehl, Sophomore, joins Carter Sheehan in exploring all the great opportunities the Honors Program gives its students!
Dr. Bosscher and Dr. KJ both join Carter Sheehan in the studio this week to discuss the new Interdisciplinary Inquiry course they are teaching in the FA22 semester titled "Back to the Garden." This class will combine the fields of chemistry and communications to discover more about how the world works and how we can care for it better. Listen to learn more!
This week, we look back at an episode created in April of 2021! Julia and Nicole Belcher, current Trinity students. share their research about women in leadership and weigh in on what these findings mean. The sister duo also talk through how individuals can begin to bridge this gap to empower women in the workplace to create a more equal environment.

Karen Jegadish, Junior, joins us as she tells about her experiences studying in different places around the world and the benefits of studying abroad, and also how YOU can apply to study abroad through one of Trinity's off-campus programs!

Listen in to hear Bolu Jegede and Miracle Thurman converse in what they call the "fun episode" of the Honors Pod. In this session, they have a discussion about what it is like to be a ULA, particularly for an honors class. If you have any interest in being a ULA in the future or if you do not quite understand what a ULA is, both of these students are great people to talk to.

But for us Honors Peoples, we avert our gaze from the thermometer and the snowfall and call April "Research Month." Okay, it's not an official designation by President Biden or anything. We just made that bit up. But in honor of this theme, we will be posting on Mondays and Wednesdays.
