This guided meditation helps stimulate the root chakra at the base of the spine, in order to induce a sense of safety and security. The idea is to bring us back home to ourselves in order to feel grounded and connected as we continue to survive through the pandemic.
This short guided meditation includes a variation of Metta Prayer in order to invoke a deep sense of peace and compassion within ourselves. “Metta” translates from Pali language to “good will” or “loving kindness”. You may practice this seated or lying down, anytime and anyplace, especially when you could use a little extra love and kindness.
