In this episode, I spoke with Catalan football coach Cristian Colás. Dubbed as the 'Pep Guardiola of Non-League Football' (a nickname he cringes to hear), Cristian has had a highly interesting career to date. He talks us through his journey from coaching in Barcelona to becoming head coach of English 9th tier side Biggleswade United.

In the conversation, Cristian talks us through . how he 'professionalised' the part-time set-up at the club . how he is able to build and coach his game model effectively in 2/3 day training weeks . his implementation of his possession-based game model in non-league football

In this episode, I met with Xavi Garcia. Primarily a basketball coach, having worked as an assistant and a first-team coach with teams in the ACB - Spain's highest basketball league - Xavi, nowadays, works with coaches and business people in improving leadership skills and in managing people.

Xavi's classes in MBP courses have always been very popular. For those who don't know him, his strong knowledge in human connection and understanding ourselves makes this episode a must-listen-to. I advise having a notepad and pen alongside.

In the conversation: Xavi delves deep into:

How and why we build trust with our players What is more important the goal or the process? Understanding our emotions as a coach.
