It’s about helping more people more often say ‘Yes’ to God. God is speaking to us all the time, whispering and coaxing us to follow His lead and trust Him more. Living as a believer is learning to discern the voice of the Lord and being obedient to whatever He says. Some people hear that voice urging them to give God a try. Then they sense the call to give their lives to Christ. That voice continues to speak with greater regularity and boldness as Jesus leads us into the life He designed for us. As He once said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)
It's okay to not be okay, but you don't have to stay there because the Lord is not done with you yet.
Prayer empowers us to stand firm in the Lord amidst a culture that is crippled with anxiety.
Forgive and forget sounds nice and simple, but true reconciliation and restoration are at the heart of biblical forgiveness.

The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Gal 5:6b And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Heb 11:6 3 Arguments against Faith
1) I believe the biggest argument against faith is the existence of suffering & evil. If God is all-knowing & all-powerful, he knows when horrible things happen & has power to intervene.
-What kind of God watches and does nothing? Where was God at on 9/11? Where is God when the accident occurs or cancer strikes?
-We look from a human perspective: if I were God…Not on my watch.
-We list a lot of things we would do differently than God but we would also give a lot less grace.
-Isaiah 44: 6-8: God’s ways are not our ways, nor his thoughts our thoughts.
2) Why are there so many religions? One is better. Are millions of good people wrong & condemned?
3) Why are there so many bad Christians? Over centuries, horrible sins commissioned & committed…Inquisition, Crusades, Salem Witch Trials, slavery, abuse in Catholic & Baptist churches. Hypocritical Christian lives that don’t line up with beliefs.
3 Arguments for Faith
1) Evolution touted for decades that evidence of God can’t exist. Among scientists, the argument is losing ground as they discover more. Clear intelligence & beauty likenature all around us and the human body alone has billions of cells.
2) Moral standards. When we say something wrong, we contrast it to a standard of right. What determines right? A person/party in power? In some regimes, execute rebels. We are not bothered when a lion chases down a gazelle, but angered by powerful people abusing the weak. Why?
3) Search for meaning. A purpose for existence; that we are here for a reason.
Arguments don’t often convince, but they do support what we believe. God gives us a lot of evidence of his existence. Do you believe and live like Jesus or is your faith fake like the knock-off purses?

In a generation that is constantly living in the moment of what pleases them, and what feels good, God honors those who choose to consider His ways greater than their own personal pleasure. Satisfaction in life does not come from satisfying every carnal need, but by knowing that you have done right in the eyes of a loving God. "I know , My God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity" 1Chronicles 29:17
In order to please God we must first start with the acceptance of His plan. We must first come in agreement with His plan to redeem us, and connect with us once again. We must surrender to His call for relationship.

Those that want to get rich fall into temptation, a trap, and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
People have a very different concept of what being wealthy is. We fight strive, dig, and struggle to be what the world describes as rich. We are all wealthy, if we understand where wealth resides.

No one likes dealing with criticism, but in almost every area and arena of our lives we are open to receive a critic from others. Our bosses, our spouses, even congregation members have something to say about the way we conduct ourselves, behaviors, and possibly ministry. Today we learn how to give and receive criticism well, in addition to prayerfully serving those who criticize us. God shows us the perfect way to communicate information to one another, even when it is hard.

One religion says you disappear into the greater conscience. Another says you come back as another life form. Yet another says that those that have previously died, fate is influenced by what those currently living do for the deceased. Is there a Purgatory? What about the biblical Heaven? Is it for real? What about Hell? Why would a loving God create such a horrible place? Find the answer to these questions.

You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. Decisive moments are our opportunity to chart a new coarse in life. A point in time when we choose to do something, or walk away from something, and life changed.
There's an incredible impact when the church and home work together to strengthen families
