It’s about helping more people more often say ‘Yes’ to God. God is speaking to us all the time, whispering and coaxing us to follow His lead and trust Him more. Living as a believer is learning to discern the voice of the Lord and being obedient to whatever He says. Some people hear that voice urging them to give God a try. Then they sense the call to give their lives to Christ. That voice continues to speak with greater regularity and boldness as Jesus leads us into the life He designed for us. As He once said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)
It's okay to not be okay, but you don't have to stay there because the Lord is not done with you yet.
Prayer empowers us to stand firm in the Lord amidst a culture that is crippled with anxiety.
Forgive and forget sounds nice and simple, but true reconciliation and restoration are at the heart of biblical forgiveness.
Fix your eyes on the Ancient of Days because He will always and forever be on his throne.
If you know him you’ll obey him, if you obey him it shows you love him, if you love him you’ll love one another, and loving one another takes sacrifice and action.
Have you ever asked God, Where are You?
**While you wait God is working. God is always working, the same God who reached into the pit to rescue O.T. Joseph will reach in and rescue you as well.
Romans 8:28 “God is always at work, for the good for those who love him”.**
We each get to choose how we respond to our own challenges, and how we choose our response is a witness to the truth we believe.
If we can begin to focus on this one thing, the Lord can accomplish many things through us.
A good reputation comes by way of consistency, and the secret to consistency is trust in God.
As followers of Christ we are constantly in this state of sanctification, becoming more and more like Christ as we progress in our maturity.
We can all proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to a world that desperately needs to hear it.

Even the most mature believers fall. It's what you do after that makes all the difference in the world.
The story of David reaching out to a crippled boy is a powerful demonstration of the love God has for us!
David learned what we need to learn--our great plans for God don't compare to his great plans for us!
Even the godliest person can be caught off-guard and give in to their passion. But God is gracious in bringing wise voices into our lives to keep us on the right path.
It is really hard to honor someone who doesn't deserve it, but God calls us to do the unnatural and unexpected.
Good friends are rare, but so necessary for helping us through life. The relationship of Jonathan and David show us what a great friendship can look like.

David was anointed to be king, but had to learn some important lessons before he could take the throne. Every calling comes requires us to learn the art of being a servant.
God doesn't make decisions or look at people like we do, yet he's always right...and always good!
How does an imperfect guy like David get recognized as "a man after God's own heart"? It's not all that surprising when you dig into his story, which begins with this introduction to David.

Our words are extremely powerful and can bring someone close to Christ or drive them further away. Pastor Darrin offers three filters from James 3 to help empower our speech.

Since God knows the plans he has for us, does that mean we shouldn't plan? Proverbs gives great help for guiding us in the right direction for our lives!
The pandemic made us realize how important friendships are! Proverbs has some great advice on the kind of friends we all must have in our lives.
Christians find themselves in the midst of two kingdoms, and we have a key role to play in both. In this message, we'll gain wisdom from Proverbs and other passages on how to relate to those who govern us.
No subject is more frequently addressed in Proverbs than the way we talk. A wise person understands that the tongue is powerful and either fosters life or brings about death. Therefore, choose your words wisely!

You maybe asking, is there hope for me? The answer is yes. On Calvary’s hill, two men hung next to Jesus they saw and heard from him. One chose Jesus the other mocked him. What’s your choice today?
Jesus spoke seven powerful statements from the cross. The words that flow from the cross can change our lives, starting with the first word: Forgive.
Does God still speak? What is he prophesying? Answer to all these questions and more found in the scriptures in today's message.
Everyone wants to go to heaven, yet few take the time to read what the Bible says about it. This is one amazing place you don't want to miss out on!
Did you know that Jesus said more about hell than any other person in the Bible? How does that reconcile with his love? Pastor Darrin will share why we need to take seriously what Jesus has to say and why we need him as Lord.
Jesus said that one day we will stand before him and be judged. Believers should not fear that day, but it ought to motivate us to live all out for Jesus!
We are engaged in a cosmic battle against a formidable but defeated foe. God has assured us of victory, so we should worship like winners.
Jesus will come dramatically and decisively, and the question is, "Are you ready?" Jesus made it clear how each of us can prepare for that day.
We are living in what the Bible calls the Last Days, the final period of time before Jesus returns. There is a lot of confusion about how this will play out, but one thing is clear: It ought to make a difference in the way we live our lives.
This New Year doesn't have to be a repeat of 2021. Make the choices that will position you for a great 2021!

This is the first message by Pastor Darrin laying out the new vision for PPCC and how each member of this church has a vital role to play in what God is doing in the world!
A lot of people know about God, but not very many people really know God. Jesus knew God. He had a relationship with Him that required time, energy and effort.
Upon trusting and receiving Jesus as Savior, we became the recipients of many spiritual blessings, and one of them is the promise that Jesus will never leave us.
Therefore through the journeys of life we have a constant companion. Pastor Rick shares three critical promises to remember about Jesus that will help you navigate a successful life.
If you ever feel like your sin is a barrier between you and Jesus, his love for you continues in spite of it. He is merciful and will receive anyone who comes to him.
Demons are real but Jesus is greater! Is there a demon in your house? Tear down those strongholds by the divine power of Jesus!
What is the importance of Jesus' baptism as recorded in each of the gospels? Pastor Darrin explains how that event demonstrated something many people are hungry for--the blessing of their father.
Our view of Jesus often is so limited. Scripture says that he did more long before he was born in Bethlehem and continues to do great things beyond his resurrection. Not only has Jesus made us, but it's only through knowing him that we can live the life we were meant to have.

This is the opening message in our new series based on the hit TV show The CHOSEN. Pastor Darrin gives an overview of this church initiative and what it means to be chosen by God.
In this final message in this series on vision, Pastor Darrin talks about how to respond to God when your heart is burdened with a need. Nothing really changes until we come before him and acknowledge who he is, what he can do, and how he can use us for his glory.
In order to discover God's vision, we must open our eyes both to what is and what should be. But in order for that vision to arouse us to action, we must allow our hearts to become unsettled by the realities that exist. We learn from Nehemiah that God wants us to mourn, weep, fast and pray so that become broken by the things that break the heart of God.
One year ago, people were talking about 2020 vision. Then the coronavirus changed everyone’s plans. As we enter a new year, we believe God had fresh dreams for his Church. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be looking at Nehemiah’s example to help us discern God’s new vision for PPCC, and your part in it!

Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde continues teaching 1st Peter. The words we speak are powerful! They can be life-giving or life-killing. Sadly, much of the dialog in our country this past year has been the latter. It’s created anger, division and even violence. In Part 1 of this message from 1 Peter 3, Pastor Darrin challenges us to respond to difficult people in an unexpected way.

The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. Gal 5:6b And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Heb 11:6 3 Arguments against Faith
-What kind of God watches and does nothing? Where was God at on 9/11? Where is God when the accident occurs or cancer strikes?
-We look from a human perspective: if I were God…Not on my watch.
-We list a lot of things we would do differently than God but we would also give a lot less grace.
-Isaiah 44: 6-8: God’s ways are not our ways, nor his thoughts our thoughts.
3 Arguments for Faith

7-8-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde talks to us about 'pets' that we should not have. It can be quite easy to think that we can 'domesticate' things of this world that in the end can be our ruin. Just like people who think they have tamed exotic and wild animals that later turn around and attack, Satan and his minions can give us a false sense of safety before they drag us down in a spiral of sin and despair.
7-1-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde looks at some very deliberately spiritual things this week, going over the fight for our lives that is constantly taking place - the fight for our souls between God and Satan. While many people think of it as mythology at this point, there is indeed a Holy God and an Evil Prince of the World that are waging over us. One because he loves us greatly and one because he hates us greatly and wants us to suffer with him.

6-10-8 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde continues his sermon from last week going over the importance of marriage. This is such an important subject and one that not only hits home with so many people but can affect the home of so many people that more time is needed to go over the items here. We want your marriages to be successful, and Darrin takes a look at what that means.
6-3-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde asks quite the question - Does Marriage work? Culturally it would seem not. So many people are either divorced or even refuse/wait to get married because it seems like a broken item. But when we go into with the mindset of culture and not of God, things may not be what we hope.
5-27-18 Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde knows there are many things in this world that can influence us. Media, family, friends, inner desires...the list goes on. But there is one that should influence us that we tend to not understand as much - the Holy Spirit.
5-20-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde wants us to go on a walk with him, a walk of faith. Our salvation is something that is one step in front of the other, alongside Jesus and the the things he desires of us and for us. It can be quite the rough journey, but if we hit a balance of Truth and Love, as He did, it will be quite the walk to remember.

4-29-18 - Family Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous talks about what maturity in the faith looks like and the importance of making sure we are 'adulting' in our spiritual walk, growing and becoming more mature. We are naturally meant to 'adult' in this world as we grow older - things like getting a job/career, getting married, raising a family, buying a house, etc. These types of things ring true in our faith as well - raising up spiritual disciples, growing up in our faith, tapping into our spiritual gifts and using those, etc. Welcome to Spiritual Adulting.
4-22-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde rolls right out of last week in taking the teaching that we got from the previous 3 chapters of Ephesians and now applying them, this time in how the church needs to be about unity and gifts. We each have something to contribute to the church, and the gift we have can be a great gift indeed if used for God.
4-15-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde dives back in the book of Ephesians after taking a couple months off, this time starting us in the second half of book. This is the 'so what' section of the book, and Paul begins this by talking about unity in the church.

3-18-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde and Family Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous take a unique approach to the pulpit this week as they sit down and have a discussion/lesson on different questions people have asked when it comes to money/giving. This is a great sermon to have many of your wonderings answered.
3-11-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde wants you to know the joys of having a generous spirit. It is something that can start with experiencing the blessing of giving God a tithe, seeing what He can do in your life through His blessings, and wanting to share blessings with others as well. To have such joy in your life is something that goes far beyond the area of finances, it is something that permeates your life. Found out with that looks like in this week's sermon.
3-4-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde looks at ways that we can be counter-cultural in our thought process and actions when it comes to finances.
2-25-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde kicks off a new series talking about the blessing we see through tithing. This is something that God even says to test him on. This week we look at the different mindsets between the wise and the fool.
2-18-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde gets through the last part of chapter 3 in Ephesians, looking at the last couple verses in the prayer of Paul. Do we have the courage of pray big? Do we even count it as needing courage? What would happen if we prayed big prayers?
2-11-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde shares how to increase your capacity through prayer - by means of purpose and practice.
2-4-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde gets to the last portion of Ephesians chapter 3, and this is such an important topic that he will be here for the 2 weeks as well. The important topic is - Prayer! Paul shows us through this chapter, this book, other writings, and even his life just how important prayer is and the power that it can hold. This is something to get excited about and press into.
1-28-18 - Family Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous continues through the third chapter of Ephesians, looking at the amazing thing that God has set up for us and how so much of what we see in scriptures is even better than how we read it when we don't stop to think of the wonderment of God.
1-21-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde looks at the writings of Paul at the start of Ephesians chapter 3, seeing that Paul is really showing that you can be a light for Jesus wherever you are. This is especially seen in this passage since Paul is both writing from prison and doubling down by actually writing about how the gospel is for all people, no matter who they are or where they come from.
1-14-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde finishes up chapter 2 of Ephesians look at what we get to be a part of and have membership in because of significance that Christ played for all, regardless of race, gender, or what your previous ties were to.
1-7-18 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde begins the new year by going back - back to our in depth look at the book of Ephesians. This is a sermon about looking back, looking back in a couple ways. We need to look back at where we have been as well as what Jesus has done. When we put the two of those together, looking forward has some awesome potential.
12-31-17 - Adult Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous gets us ready for the new year talking about what the best thing is that we can do - listen; not just listen to him or Darrin, but listen to the voice of God. He goes over the importance of this and how to do it.

12-10-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde is ready for next year, and that is with 2017 being a great year for PPCC! Darrin looks forward to what is in store for our church and takes us through highlights of 2017.
12-3-17 - Family Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous takes a break from the book of Ephesians and talks about a key thing many of us start to think about even more than usual this time of year - Family. Family is key to growth, and that goes both in the home and at church.
11-26-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde gets to the last verse of Ephesians Chapter 2 this week, and we only focus on that verse. It is a powerful one that many of us need to be reminded of. We need to be aware of the wonder and awe that is behind our being and making, and that is something that continues on beyond us being formed in the womb. We are continually being formed and are a wonder - well into adulthood.
11-19-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde reminds us that as much as we like to be able to accomplish things by ourselves, there are many things that are beyond our reach. This is is especially true when it comes to things of God and the power and knowledge that he possesses.
11-12-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde looks at the next few verses at the beginning of Ephesians 2, and this time we look at a small word with a big meaning - But. In our lives, we often here the word 'but' as something that goes at the end of a compliment, making what was just said prior negated. This is what happens in this message, but instead it is a positive 'But'!
11-5-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde reaches the beginning of Ephesians chapter two this week, and we go through the first three verses. So often we think the Christian walk is about Jesus taking bad and making good of it, and while that is a product of Christianity, what Jesus is truly about is bringing the dead back to life. In our lives, this means spiritually, and Darrin looks at the meaning of his resurrection in our lives and what we need to remember from our dead selves.
10-29-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde finishes up chapter one of Ephesians by letting us know that there is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in having a relationship with Jesus. There is power beyond beyond the grave and into heaven. What could you do with such a power? What are we called to do with such a power?
10-22-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde wants to know what you know. More importantly, God wants to make sure that you know who He is. One cannot have a healthy relationship with someone if they didn't get to know them beyond an introduction, so how far past an introduction to God have you gotten?
10-15-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde talks growth. There are many different veins of thought when it comes to what the word 'Growth' means in the Christian arena. So does the Bible say anything about it?
10-8-17 - Family Pastor Sam Silveous takes us through what we have looked at in a broader scope and looks at the commonality in the words Paul choose in chapter 1 of Ephesians.
10-1-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde reaches the half way point of Ephesians chapter one this week, speaking on the key role that the Holy Spirit plays in the Christian faith. So often He is a person that can be forgotten, but when it comes to a full Christian walk, he is far from someone to forget.
9-24-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde takes us deeper in the book of Ephesians today. He unfolds more of Chapter 1, talking about the mystery of God and redemption through his Son.
9-17-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde hits verses 3-6 of Ephesians 1 as we continue through our study through the entire book of Ephesians. It is quite the deep book, so only a few verses at a time are needed. Today we hear more about grace and mercy, as well as the blessings that come from being chosen by God.
9-10-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde has preached a 3 week intro to the book of Ephesians looking at the portion of Acts that has Paul in Ephesus. This is the now the first week actually going through the book of Ephesians, and we cover a lot of ground...the first two verses. Even though this is just the intro to the book, there is a lot of Paul has for us in these couple sentences, and Darrin unpacks those for us.
9-3-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde does the third of our three part intro to the book of Ephesians as we finish up looking in the book of Acts and what type of people and environment it was that Paul wrote the letter to Ephesus that we now know as the book of Ephesians. We finish up this intro looking at idols and what it is that can get in the way of God and what that does.
8-27-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde goes a little darker this weekend as he talks about the presence of demons and what their existence looks like and means for us. Demons are real, and there is a spiritual battle going on we are fighting for. Which side you are on is up to you.
8-20-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde beings our new sermon in our series through Ephesians. He begins by going through Acts 19. In Acts 19, we get a glimpse at the relationship that Paul had with some people in Ephesus and part of why he later on will write the letter that we know as Ephesians. This message is packed full of content with the Holy Spirit and baptism, so it is an awesome starting point for someone in the faith and a great reminder for one that has been calling Jesus 'Lord' for awhile.
8-13-17 - Family Pastor Sam Silveous finishes up our series on how the church is better when we function today. This is a sermon about battling and how relationships we have we need to be willing to fight for. We need to be willing to fight alongside. We need to be willing to fight in prayer. We need to be willing to fight for what is right. We need to be willing to Fight For It!
8-6-17 - Family Pastor Sam Silveous hits on a well known passage. Many have heard about the idea of the Body of Christ, aka The Church, and how we all have a part to play. Often times we hear a message like this and it can be easy to feel that if we don't have any particular gifts to offer on Sunday morning then we are off the hook. But that is far from the case. Sam looks at what we are called to through Jesus and what he desires in our lives.
7-31-17 - Sam Silveous goes over the power in numbers. We all know there can be strength in numbers, and this goes with us in the church too. We need to be there for each other. Together we can be much more than we can solo. Even though our relationship with God is a personal thing, it was never meant to be a private thing.
7-23-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde begins our new series on people in relationship talking about the overall idea of community. We need people in our lives. Whether introvert or extrovert, it is a need.
7-16-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde closes out the series with a test. This isn't a pop quiz though, but a comparison of temptation vs testing. There are different hardships and moments in our lives that will feel like we are being stretched and pushed spiritually, and it's these times that Darrin speaks on.
7-9-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde does a gut check looking into forgiveness. It's not just about what Jesus did to forgive us, but what we do in the area of forgiving others. The Golden Rule is in place here in a way that many of us find hard to handle. But Darrin goes through and shows us in scripture what the idea of forgiveness means and entails.
7-2-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin asks about asking. So often it can be easy to go to God when we have things that we need, even things we want. But are we going about it with the right mindset and heart?
6-25-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde takes us from the visiting the seat of the Father that we were at last week to seeing his expansive Kingdom and what his Lordship and Kinghood mean for us.
6-18-17 - Worship Pastor Matt Ross brings us the message today by looking at the first portion of the Lord's Prayer, speaking on Our Father in Heaven, a great Father's Day message indeed!
6-11-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde intros our summer series by talking about talking. Prayer. What is it good for? Absolutely everything...as long as you go about it the right way. This is what we touch on this week and will go into more depths in weeks to come.
6-4-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde wants your home to be the safest place it can be, and many times it is going to start and end with you. With this last message of our Safe Haven series, Darrin brings it to the people that hold the most weight in a family: the mom and dad. More importantly, the husband and wife. Amidst the family time and schedule it can be easy to lose sight of our spouse and the place they should hold in our lives. We need to find that again.
5-28-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde speaks once more on the idea of having a safe home. This time it is based on how we handle ourselves when it comes to being gentle. Are you able to call yourself a Gentleman or a Gentlewoman?
5-21-17 - Family Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous discusses pinnacle things for our households and what we should do in our family walls when it comes to loving God and loving others. Those are the two biggest things Jesus emphasized, so how is it we can do that with those closest to us?
5-14-17 - Family Discipleship Pastor Sam Silveous brings to life the story of Ruth, tying in the ideas seen in that book of the Bible and how it relates to our families. Even with it being in the Old Testament, there is some amazing imagery of Jesus that can be seen there. The story of Ruth shows us the importance of how stories end, and remind us that there is power and importance in our stories as well.
5-7-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde brings in the summer with our new family series. Based off of the book 'Safe House', this sermon and the ones to follow will help with brining families together in a safe and Godly way. We want our families to be safe and cared for, whether it's our children, grandkids, cousins, parents, or our odd uncle. This first sermon of this series leads in with the idea of what you can do to get things going.
4-30-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde wraps up the series on the I Am statements of Jesus with the final one in the Gospel of John. What is your life producing? If you are wanting to leave lasting impact? Eternal impact? There is only one way to make that happen, and it is all based on who you get your life from.
4-23-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde gets controversial. Some people want to write this message off. Others question the truth behind it. Still others love the idea of it. But one thing is for sure - this is the most powerful and testing I Am statement Jesus had.
4-16-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde gives us a word that is familiar and yet different this Easter. Yes we know that Jesus was resurrected, but what about yourself? Have you been resurrected? Listen in to find out if you have or how to do so.
4-9-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde does a part two of last week's message, further looking into what it means to have Jesus as our Shepherd, why we are sheep, and the difference it is to have someone leading our life instead of tagging along.
4-2-17 - Senior Pastor Darrin Ronde opens up the door to the next I Am statement as we talk about the significance held with Jesus being a point of entrance. We ideally enter into places through the proper entrance, so what is it that Jesus is the gate to? Is He blocking something out, keeping something in? Check out this week's sermon to find out.

Those that want to get rich fall into temptation, a trap, and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
People have a very different concept of what being wealthy is. We fight strive, dig, and struggle to be what the world describes as rich. We are all wealthy, if we understand where wealth resides.

It was gradually borne upon me that in various details the narrative showed marvelous truth. Luke is a historian of the first rank; not merely are his statements of fact trustworthy, this author should be placed along with the very greatest historians" ~ Sir William Ramsay (former atheist)
One religion says you disappear into the greater conscience. Another says you come back as another life form. Yet another says that those that have previously died, fate is influenced by what those currently living do for the deceased. Is there a Purgatory? What about the biblical Heaven? Is it for real? What about Hell? Why would a loving God create such a horrible place? Find the answer to these questions.
You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. (C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity)
Anyone who enters the church expecting perfection does not understand the nature of that risk or the nature of humanity. Just as every romantic eventually learns that marriage is the beginning, not the end, of the struggle to make love work, every Christian must learn that church is also only a beginning. (Philip Yancey in the book, Church: Why Bother?)
Decisive moments are our opportunity to chart a new coarse in life. A point in time when we choose to do something, or walk away from something, and life changed.
