Nothing excited me more when approached to be a part of this passion project of starting her very own school...The Greenidge Law Academy. I thought the idea was brilliant and just had to share it with you all.

Ms. LeAnna Greenidge wants to ensure that all children from k-12 grade is equipped with the knowledge and information that will make them better citizens, civic leaders, protectors of the law and everything in between.

My conversation with her was very passionate and inspiring. Her mission and goal will come to fruition, and I'm looking forward to the grand opening!

The men were great, but the women were amazing!

These group of 11 women were able to articulate eloquently share their view points, opinions, experiences with regards to race and equality in America.

Nothing was solved by this one conversation, but enough to open the door to change. What kind of change are you incorporating in your life? With work and co-workers? Family and friends? Your community?

It's time to have these conversations. It's time to push the agenda forward for a progressive future for our children.

It's time.

We're talking about building wealth...generational wealth. I'm sure we'd all like to retire at the age of 32. Well, according to Kendra Barnes, founder of The Key Resource, it's possible. She knows because she did it! I sit and speak with her about how she did it and how to get started today.

In the wake of George Floyd's death, the country has seen swift consequences when people become disdained in their nature by watching a man die in front of their eyes. For centuries African-Americans in this country have been fighting, marching, protesting, and have civilly done their due diligence to demand equality. But what makes this time different? Changes in the eyes of white America have been opened as well. Consciousness has consequently become a roadmap to change? Is this a moment? Movement? Will change indeed happen?

The 16 black men I spoke with in a Zoom forum would like for change to happen. Some think it won't. Listen in and form your own opinion. These men express concern for family, share their experiences, question what the next move is and how to get there? The conversation was insightful, impactful, thought-provoking and needed. What is more needed? We need our white brothers and sisters to listen and hear the message of what these 16 intelligent men have to say.

Please be aware that technology is not always in favor of our mission, I apologize for environmental background distractions and recording mishaps

Enjoy and I look forward to your feedback!

It's that time of year where we loosen our belts and get even looser with our fitness goals. And it's okay...within moderation. I started an online fitness journey about a month and a half ago and I am very proud and excited as to how far I've gotten. It hasn't been easy, but when you are disciplined, have a few cheerleaders in your corner, and a great fitness coach, you can reach that goal!

Monique "Mo" London, fitness competitor and training coach and I sit and talk through all the good, hard, and ugly of starting a journey, being disciplined and doing all while fighting Lupus. Loved having this woman on the show, and you will be glad I did, too.

Sitting down with Ms Courtney Lee, domestic violence survivor and advocate really taught me a lot. It is a true testiment when a woman can pull herself from a life or death situation and turn it around for the betterment of other women in her community. That's exactly what Courtney did when she started 4Her Women's Network over 2 years ago. She has lived it, she escaped it, and shares her story to inspire women to do the same. Help. Empower. Restore.

The authors, Amy Stanton and Catherine Connors, begin with a brief history of when-and-why these traits were defined as weaknesses, sharing opinions from iconic females including Marianne Williamson and Cindy Crawford. Then they offer a set of feminine principles that challenge current perceptions of feminine traits, while providing women new mindsets to reclaim those traits with confidence. The principles include counterintuitive messages, including:

Take things hard. Women feel things deeply, especially the hard stuff--and that's a good thing.

Enjoy glamour. Peacocks' bright coloring and garish feathers are part of their survival strategy--similar tactics are part of our happiness strategy.

Chit-chat. Women have been derogated for "gossip" for centuries. But what others call gossip, we call social connection.

And so much more...
