QUICK GET IN THE CAR, MIND'S DESIRE HAS BEEN UNBANNED IN LEGACY!
As the news hit on our way back home from work, Kai, Callum & I immediately jumped into a call to record our thoughts about one of the most exciting unban in years! Not only is Mind's Desire one of the most epic cards in the history of the game - it also sets a new precedent for WotC being willing to touch cards that were once considered un-unbanable. We touch on different ways to build the deck, look back at the Legacy UNCHAINED Series from 2019 (during which Mind's desire got some action!), and cast our votes where we see the card in 6 months.
In the second half of the show, we highlight Mississippi River winning the most recent Saturday Legacy Challenge in the hands of Sean Goddard, and why that deck is causing so much frustration (or pure joy) among players right now. Oh, and SHRAPNEL BLAST is back too. We're living through some wild times right now, and I'm loving it!

With Callum currently rocking out on a burning boat in Eastern Europe, Kai & Julian invite Iñigo 'runkor' Villamor onto the show, to look back at their adventures at IMPACT Returns in Spain earlier this month. There, in the very north-western reaches of the country in Galicia, the IMPACT crew had (thus far) rather secretly built the second-biggest recurring Legacy of Europe. We look back at their history which reaches back over a decade to a bunch of guys inside a bar, all the way to the big Legacy+Modern events that are hosting now.
Starting this year, Impact is now reaching out beyond the Spanish borders, attracting players from the rest of the continent. As coverage was being switched to English, they brought in Kai & Julian as commentators for both the Spanish Legacy Champs on Friday and the Main Event on Saturday.
We look back at a weekend fueled with just the best of Spanish Legacy, people, cuisine, and beaches! If you're gonna miss an episode, don't let it be this one!

Callum, Kai & Julian gather for a first assessment of the damage Orcish Bowmasters & Friends have done, and are happ they actually brought up a card last episode that Callum completely underestimated. With tons of high-stake events in the books, we take a look at which new cards have actually made an impact, and discuss our feelings about Bowmasters after getting a couple of games in with them.
In the second part of the show, we take a look at the results of NRG Chicagoland, SCG Baltimore, and a couple other events. Julian is especially excited about the Creative Technique ("Mississippi River") Cascade deck they managed to camera in round 2 of NRG Chicagoland...that just barely missed the Top8 in the end.

Famed Swedish Legacy Control mage Marcus 'iwouldliketorespond' Ewaldh joins the cast tonight. Together we go deep on his very low-to-the-ground Jeskai Staff list which he's been Top8'ing Legacy Challenges left and right with recently. Marcus prefers an incredibly streamlined approach with no end-game payoffs but balances this out by employing 4 copies of Urza's Saga. This is contrasted by Angelo "wilky" Cadei's Jeskai Staff-less list that heavily leans on endgame Planeswalkers, Shark Typhoon, and Day's Undoing.
Going further we also look into an entirely new and unique take on Legacy Control that Phil Bleckman started pushing recently, which gives Julian severe Cunning Wish Landstill flashbacks.
