Godly Counsel: Recent Episodes

Adedeji Adewunmi

Godly Counsel is not a perfect place for perfect people. We are all like a bright shining light that shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day. Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We are not to judge, we want to help you become everything God want you to become. It does not matter where you are in your walk with God, we need each other to walk with Him in the right way.

Don't you know thatevil people won't have a share in the blessings of God's kingdom? Don't foolyourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful inmarriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual

Why you Need to beFaithful:

Adultery is real andit is a spirit that is taking many souls to hell.

Romans 2:20-25 CEV

[20] And since thereis knowledge and truth in God's Law, you think you can instruct fools and teachyoung people. [21] But how can you teachothers when you refuse to learn? You preach that it is wrong to steal. But doyou steal? [22] You say people should be faithful in marriage. But are youfaithful? You hate idols, yet you rob their temples. Instead, he beat his chestin sorrow, saying, 'O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.' [14] I tellyou, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. The righteousness of God is the root of all integrity. It is the definition of all that is genuinely good in this life.

FAVOUR WITH HUMANS:

There are many ways to gain favorwith humans. Some common examples include:

Sure, here are some Bible versesabout favour with humans:

These verses show that God desires tobless His people with favour with humans. When we live a life that is pleasingto God, He will cause others to see us in a positive light. We will be morelikely to be successful in our endeavours and to have good relationships withothers.

There are a few things that we can doto increase our chances of finding favour with humans.

Exodus 33:15-17 NLT

Then Moses said,"If you don't personally go with us, don't make us leave this place. [16]How will anyone know that you look favourably on me-on me and on your people-ifyou don't go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apartfrom all other people on the earth." [17] The LORD replied to Moses,"I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favourably on you, and Iknow you by name."

First, we can make sure that we areliving a life that is pleasing to God. This means following His commandmentsand living according to His will.

Daniel 1:8-9 KJV

But Daniel purposedin his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king'smeat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince ofthe eunuchs that he might not defile himself. [9] Now God had brought Daniel intofavour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

Second,we can be compassionate to others. We should always be willing to help those inneed and to show them love and respect.

Third, Loyalty and Kindness -

Proverbs 3:3-4 NLT

Never let loyaltyand kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write themdeep within your heart. [4] Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.

Fourth, we can be humble andunassuming. We should not try to draw attention to ourselves or to boast aboutour accomplishments. Instead, we should focus on helping others and making apositive difference in the world.

Esther 2:15-17 NLT

Esther was thedaughter of Abihail, who was Mordecai's uncle. (Mordecai had adopted hisyounger cousin Esther.) When it was Esther's turn to go to the king, sheaccepted the advice of Hegai, the eunuch in charge of the harem. She asked fornothing except what he suggested, and she was admired by everyone who saw her.[16] Esther was taken to King Xerxes at the royal palace in early winter of theseventh year of his reign. [17] And the king loved Esther more than any of theother young women. He was so delighted with her that he set the royal crown onher head and declared her queen instead of Vashti.

Matthew 21:28-31 AMP

"What do you think? There was a man who had two sons, and he came to the first and said, 'Son, go and work in the vineyard today.' [29] And he answered, 'I will not'; but afterward he regretted it and changed his mind and went. [30] Then the man came to the second son and said the same thing; and he replied, 'I will, sir'; but he did not go. [31] Which of the two did the will of the father?" The chief priests and elders replied, "The first one." Jesus said to them, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.

There are two dimension to this teaching and it will help us to balance the decadence that is happening in our world today.

This due to ranging of deception that crept into humanity. Moral was what we hold high not Jesus. Result is what we embrace not relationship with the Holy spirit.

The enemy kept thrilling us into believing the end justify the means. The question is with who?

There is no problem in result because Jesus Christ talked about it:

Luke 13:6-9 AMP

Then He began telling them this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree that had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it, but did not find any; [7] so he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and have found none. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground [depleting the soil and blocking the sunlight]?' [8] But he replied to him, 'Let it alone, sir, [just] one more year until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; [9] and if it bears fruit after this, fine; but if not, cut it down.'"

Even Jesus Christ want result from us. He expect every believer to be fruitful.

The question is what type of result is Jesus Christ asking of us?

We have mixed what is right with what is good. Because it is good does not mean it is right.

Meaning of Result: a thing that is caused or produced by something else; a consequence or outcome. Result can either be negative or positive.

God is asking for the right result.

Note: WHAT WE ENJOY ON EARTH IS NOT THE RESULT OF OUR EXISTENCE ON EARTH.

Whatever we make of the earth and people in it during our existence on earth is what makes our result right or just good.

Jesus has given significant warning to many that pursue vain reward:

Matthew 7:21-23 AMP

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. [22] Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?' [23] And then I will declare to them publicly, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands].'

Every result we seek as human was achieved in this scripture and yet there was no relationship with Jesus.

[7] Jesus said tohim, "On the other hand, it is written and forever remains written, 'YOUSHALL NOT TEST THE LORD YOUR GOD.'"

Manyact on the word based on the writings.

2 Corinthians 3:6KJV

Who also hath madeus able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit:for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

If the writings wereenough Jesus Christ wouldn't have sent the Holy Spirit to teach us.

John 14:26 AMP

But the Helper(Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor-Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the HolySpirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me andact on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remembereverything that I have told you.

Many of us have goneto read the word and act it but it does not produce, we because of that leaveChrist.

Before embarking onreading the word of God (the bible) ensure you have receive the Holy Spiritinto your life.

I will advise thatwe spent some time to pray before opening the word or listening to the word. After doing this, pray again.

Every sincere andSpirit filled prayer must be rich in the word of God.

Meaning of Subtle:

  • (especially of a change or distinction) so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyse or describe.
  • making use of clever and indirect methods to achieve something.
  • (of a mixture or effect) delicately complex and understated.

The Serpent in the book of Genesis represent the enemy(Devil).

Most of us thought we have known everything about the enemy.

This is one of the issue with our Christian ASSUMPTION.

Little did we know that the devil works in the way we least expected. The ways we do not really see how shrewd he can be.

The enemy has many times capitalized this. I have no doubt this is what Apostle Paul was saying:

2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP

So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.

Jesus Christ did not just send the Holy Spirit to us because it is the normal ritual. He did because many of us cannot survive the woes the enemy will play on us.

Don't forget the Enemy is:

  • Imposter -

Matthew 13:25 NIrV

But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came. The enemy planted weeds among the wheat and then went away.

  • Persistent -

Ephesians 6:16 NLT

In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.

  • Deceiver -

John 8:44 AMP

You are of your father the devil, and it is your will to practice the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks what it natural to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths.

  • Manipulator -
  • Seducer -

1 Timothy 4:1 KJ21

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils,

  • Cunning -
  • Thief -

John 10:10 AMP

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Genesis 3:1 KJ21

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, "Yea, hath God said, 'Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

ANOTHER VERSION

Genesis 3:1 AMP

Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled in deceit) than any living creature of the field which the LORD God had made. And the serpent (Satan) said to the woman, "Can it really be that God has said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?"

Matthew 22:14 NLT

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Matthew 22:2-3 NLT

“The Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his son. [3] When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come!

The key note is the Father prepared for his son and the bride are the guests.

The foundation of God's kingdom is found on knowing Jesus Christ.

This is the key to the kingdom.

Matthew 22:4-6 NLT

“So he sent other servants to tell them, ‘The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!’ [5] But the guests he had invited ignored them and went their own way, one to his farm, another to his business. [6] Others seized his messengers and insulted them and killed them.

Sending another servants after they refused the first call shows the stretch and extent of God's mercy.

What do we hold dear as humans to neglect the call of our Maker? What do you hold so dear that will make you deny the invitation of your Maker? Mind you the people that were called had already received invitation to show that they are no stranger to the caller.

Matthew 22:3 NLT

When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come!

THEY ALL REFUSED! NOT SOME BUT ALL!

The proportion of the people that will deny Jesus and not be part of the kingdom will be alarming. I do not say this things to make you sad.

Luke 14:18-20 NLT

But they all began making excuses. One said, ‘I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me.’ [19] Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’ [20] Another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’

The reason they refused:

  • I have just bought a field and must inspect it.
  • I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out.
  • I just got married, so I can’t come.’
  • one to his farm
  • Another to his business.
  • Others seized his messengers and insulted them and killed them.

Matthew 21:31-32 NLT

"Which of the two obeyed his father?" They replied, "The first." Then Jesus explained his meaning: "I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do. [32] For John the Baptist came and showed you the right way to live, but you didn't believe him, while tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even when you saw this happening, you refused to believe him and repent of your sins(Wedding Clothes).

John 1:1-3 KJV

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus Christ on earth does not mean he just appeared. Before the earth and heaven became he was.

John 17:5 NLT

Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began.

God created everything through Jesus Christ, he is never new to the progress or process of the earth realm.

He is the builder of this placed called earth.

But Jesus Christ did not build the place called world.

The world is system where humans took initiative to build a system against God's will.

Matthew 2:16-18 NLT

Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had outwitted him. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, based on the wise men’s report of the star’s first appearance. [17] Herod’s brutal action fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet Jeremiah: [18] “A cry was heard in Ramah— weeping and great mourning. Rachel weeps for her children, refusing to be comforted, for they are dead.”

The birth of Jesus brought pain and sorrow to other families of the earth at that time.

They did not offend anybody, yet God allowed all these to ensure that every other humans on earth are saved…

THE PERSON OF BLESSING: Genesis 30:30 - Amplified Bible For you had little before I came and it has increased and multiplied abundantly, and the LORD has favored you with blessings wherever I turned. But now, when shall I provide for my own household?"

Jacob became the person of Blessing that through him Laban was blessed.

God want to make into a person that many nations are blessed.

You need to possess the qualities that makes you a blessing to many people: 1. Encounter with God. Genesis 28:11-15 NLT At sundown he arrived at a good place to set up camp and stopped there for the night. Jacob found a stone to rest his head against and lay down to sleep. [12] As he slept, he dreamed of a stairway that reached from the earth up to heaven. And he saw the angels of God going up and down the stairway. [13] At the top of the stairway stood the LORD, and he said, “I am the LORD, the God of your grandfather Abraham, and the God of your father, Isaac. The ground you are lying on belongs to you. I am giving it to you and your descendants. [14] Your descendants will be as numerous as the dust of the earth! They will spread out in all directions—to the west and the east, to the north and the south. And all the families of the earth will be blessed through you and your descendants. [15] What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.” 2. Be a people's person. Matthew 9:36 - New Living Translation When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 3. Gift and Talents. Romans 12:6 - Amplified Bible Classic Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith; 4. Loving God and Humans. Matthew 5:44-48 NLT But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! [45] In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. [46] If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. [47] If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. [48] But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Acts 4:33 - Good News Translation With great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God poured rich blessings on them all.

The Person that carries God's blessing has the capacity to share with other people.

Many of us want to share the resources we have both tangible and intangible.

We still have some people that refuses to share whatever they have. This in itself is a distraction to the true blessing of God.

The enemy is very good at creating many things just to get the believers confuse on what they should be doing.

Romans 1:11 - Contemporary English Version I want to see you and share with you the same blessings that God's Spirit has given me. Then you will grow stronger in your faith.

In turn we are supposed to be sharing the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

In all thy sharing and benevolence ensure many souls receives the Holy Spirit through you. An example…..

THE PLACE OF BLESSING: Exodus 3:17 NLT I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’

Exodus 33:1-2 NLT The LORD said to Moses, “Get going, you and the people you brought up from the land of Egypt. Go up to the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I told them, ‘I will give this land to your descendants.’ [2] And I will send an angel before you to drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

The place of blessing is where called it to be a place of blessing.

It is not in our place to give the place the name blessing.

We cannot choose the place called a place of blessing. What is place of blessing to one, is a curse to another. Genesis 9:24 - Living Bible When Noah awoke from his drunken stupor, and learned what had happened and what Ham, his younger son, had done, he cursed Ham's descendants: "A curse upon the Canaanites," he swore. "May they be the lowest of slaves To the descendants of Shem and Japheth."

The place of blessing will be filled with people or system that is bigger than you. Deuteronomy 7:1 - New Living Translation "When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are about to enter and occupy, he will clear away many nations ahead of you: the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. These seven nations are greater and more numerous than you.

The place of blessing involve putting down strongholds that will turn many heart to the enemy. Deuteronomy 20:16-18 NLT In those towns that the LORD your God is giving you as a special possession, destroy every living thing. [17] You must completely destroy the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, just as the LORD your God has commanded you. [18] This will prevent the people of the land from teaching you to imitate their detestable customs in the worship of their gods, which would cause you to sin deeply against the LORD your God.

The Place of blessing is a place of covenant between God and people in faith.

What is the new covenant? God has a covenant with Abraham that made Israel came into existence.

The covenant brought them to nations they need to occupy.

The covenant direct their lives and how to live in the land.

Your place of blessing will be determined by the person you have covenant with.

THE BLESSING: Genesis 27:28-29 NLT “From the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth, may God always give you abundant harvests of grain and bountiful new wine. [29] May many nations become your servants, and may they bow down to you. May you be the master over your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you. All who curse you will be cursed, and all who bless you will be blessed.”

WHAT WE THINK TRUE BLESSING ARE: • Abundance and Possession. • Praise and worship of humans. • Significance in immediate community. • Winning battles over your enemy.

Luke 11:9-13 NLT “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. [10] For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. [11] “You fathers—if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead? [12] Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! [13] So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”

WHAT THE TRUE BLESSING MEAN: The Holy Spirit

The kingdom of God became the goal when this earth we seeing will be one day fold as a carpet.

2 Corinthians 5:4-5 NLT While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. [5] God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.

Genesis 12:2-3 NLT I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. [3] I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”

Genesis 1:22 - Contemporary English Version Then he gave the living creatures his blessing-he told the ocean creatures to live everywhere in the ocean and the birds to live everywhere on earth.

Genesis 1:28 - Contemporary English Version God gave them his blessing and said: Have a lot of children! Fill the earth with people and bring it under your control. Rule over the fish in the ocean, the birds in the sky, and every animal on the earth.

The Blessing is what everyone is rallying around but we are yet to harness the full blessing God sends on earth.

We have gone ahead to believe many other things has the blessings.

MYTHS OF THE BLESSING: Genesis 2:9 - Amplified Bible Classic And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired-good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.

Genesis 15:1-14 NLT Some time later, the LORD spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.” [2] But Abram replied, “O Sovereign LORD, what good are all your blessings when I don’t even have a son? Since you’ve given me no children, Eliezer of Damascus, a servant in my household, will inherit all my wealth. [3] You have given me no descendants of my own, so one of my servants will be my heir.” [4] Then the LORD said to him, “No, your servant will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own who will be your heir.” [5] Then the LORD took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” [6] And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith. [7] Then the LORD told him, “I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your possession.” [8] But Abram replied, “O Sovereign LORD, how can I be sure that I will actually possess it?” [9] The LORD told him, “Bring me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” [10] So Abram presented all these to him and killed them. Then he cut each animal down the middle and laid the halves side by side; he did not, however, cut the birds in half. [11] Some vultures swooped down to eat the carcasses, but Abram chased them away. [12] As the sun was going down, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a terrifying darkness came down over him. [13] Then the LORD said to Abram, “You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years. [14] But I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and in the end they will come away with great wealth.

  1. All about the lots of money. How can you explain the unbelievers?
  2. Well known in our labour.
  3. Personal Influence on earth.
  4. Worship from other humans.
  5. Love and care from many.
  6. Attaining a high position seats.

Genesis 14:18-20 NLT And Melchizedek, the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High, brought Abram some bread and wine. [19] Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing: “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. [20] And blessed be God Most High, who has defeated your enemies for you.” Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all the goods he had recovered.

Genesis 22:15-18 AMPC The Angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time [16] And said, I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, that since you have done this and have not withheld [from Me] or begrudged [giving Me]

Acts 10:9-16 NLT The next day as Cornelius’s messengers were nearing the town, Peter went up on the flat roof to pray. It was about noon, [10] and he was hungry. But while a meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. [11] He saw the sky open, and something like a large sheet was let down by its four corners. [12] In the sheet were all sorts of animals, reptiles, and birds. [13] Then a voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat them.” [14] “No, Lord,” Peter declared. “I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean. ” [15] But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” [16] The same vision was repeated three times. Then the sheet was suddenly pulled up to heaven.

The first benefit is the kingdom of God. The highest achievement of any human.

THE BENEFITS OF BORN AGAIN: 1. Kingdom of Heaven “Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail. Luke 13:24 NLT 2. Everlasting Joy John 16:21 NLT It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world. 3. Spiritual Transformation Galatians 3:26 AMP For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. 4. Set Apart for a Purpose Galatians 3:26 AMP For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. 5. Access to True Riches James 1:9 AMP Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position [as a born-again believer, called to the true riches and to be an heir of God];

John 3:4-8 NLT “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” [5] Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. [6] Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. [7] So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ [8] The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”

Being Born Again is being subdue into the life God intended for us. The life that has relationship with God and grow in his knowledge.

1 Peter 1:23 AMP for you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God. YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD.

This is done by submitting our lives completely to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

This comes with a responsibility because you are going against a tide (world systems and structures).

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3 NLT

The responsibility of a believer (being born again). Galatians 6:10 AMP So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [be a blessing] to those of the household of faith (born-again believers).

The first benefit is the kingdom of God. The highest achievement of any human.

MYSTERY OF GOD'S KINGDOM Matthew 7:21 - King James Version Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

What is the will of God? Matthew 21:28-32 AMP “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ [29] And he answered, ‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and changed his mind and went. [30] Then the man came to the second son and said the same thing; and he replied, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go. [31] Which of the two did the will of the father?” The chief priests and elders replied, “The first one.” Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you. [32] For John came to you [walking] in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even change your mind afterward and believe him [accepting what he proclaimed to you].

Obedience is the number one key in being part of God's kingdom.

It is this obedience that translate into faith.

You cannot believe whatever you disobey. Your obedience is a proof that you believe.

Matthew 21:33-43 AMP “Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT AND DUG A WINE PRESS IN IT, AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to tenant farmers and went on a journey [to another country]. God is in another country that reflect or should reflect over this country called earth.

He has committed this country and it resources in our hands.

[34] When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to get his [share of the] fruit. We are only stewards and never the owners. For you be part of this kingdom there is change of perception and mindset.

This will be our first orientation because if the foundation be destroyed what can the righteous do?

[35] But the tenants took his servants and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third. [36] Again he sent other servants, more than the first time; and they treated them the same way. [37] Finally he sent his own son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son and have regard for him.’ [38] But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This [man] is the heir; come on, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ The plan of the enemy about the death of Jesus, little did he knew that was sacrifice from God. Though you might not understand God now but trust him.

[39] So they took the son and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. [40] Now when the owner of the vineyard comes back, what will he do to those tenants?” [41] They said to Him, “He will put those despicable men to a miserable end, and rent out the vineyard to other tenants [of good character] who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons.” [42] Jesus asked them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘THE [very] STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED and THREW AWAY, HAS BECOME THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE; THIS IS THE LORD’S DOING, AND IT IS MARVELOUS and WONDERFUL IN OUR EYES’? [43] Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to [another] people who will produce the fruit of it.

In this kingdom you must be fruitful and multiply. What is the fruit?

The Eternal Kingdom Matthew 25:31-40 AMP “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory and majesty and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. [32] All the nations will be gathered before Him [for judgment]; and He will separate them from one another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats; [33] and He will put the sheep on His right [the place of honor], and the goats on His left [the place of rejection]. [34] “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you blessed of M

INTRODUCTRION

Matthew 5:17-20 NET "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have not come to abolish these things but to fulfill them. [18] I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth pass away not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter will pass from the law until everything takes place. [19] So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [20] For I tell you, unless your righteousness goes beyond that of the experts in the law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

As believers our goal is to strive to enter the kingdom of heaven not making heaven.

God's word will never pass away but its fulfilment is in the word of God.

Being Least in the kingdom and Enter the kingdom.

The Entrance into the Kingdom is Jesus Christ…

The Spirit of the World But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. 1 John 4:4‭-‬5 NLT

What is the meaning of Spirit: the non-physical part of a person which is the seat of emotions and character; the soul.

the prevailing or typical quality, mood, or attitude of a person, group, or period of time. "I hope the team will build on this spirit of confidence"

Everything we do on earth is backed by a spirit.

The spirit is powerful anywhere apart from the earth. It is true we have blood, heart and all other bodies but the spirit direct it's part.

You need a body to function and authorise on earth.

How come the world is filled with variety. You will hear some people's philosophy and it will be total mismatch. While others seems to agree.

These variety are a product of the spirit.

The world system is governed by a Spirit.

The bible did not deny the world has a spirit. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. 1 John 4:4‭-‬5 NLT

Can I butress a point: no matter the career or profession you belong to, some people will not listen to you or want to do business with you. Why? Because you don't speak the language of the world.

The Spirit has different languages. You will understand the one you know, learn and speak.

Isaiah showed us the Spirit of the World and it purpose.

“In the place of the dead there is excitement over your arrival. The spirits of world leaders and mighty kings long dead stand up to see you. With one voice they all cry out, ‘Now you are as weak as we are! Your might and power were buried with you. The sound of the harp in your palace has ceased. Now maggots are your sheet, and worms your blanket.’ “How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world. For you said to yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north. I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.’ Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead, down to its lowest depths. Isaiah 14:9‭-‬15 NLT

THE PURPOSE OF WORLD SYSTEMS & STRUCTURES

its assumption that there is only a single path of evolutionary development for all countries

Two keys things in the world is power (laws, rules and influence over humans) and redistribution of resources (this is what we called economy). The person that controls this will unleash the holy spirit or the demon into this earthly system.

Its power reached to the heavens, where it attacked the heavenly army, throwing some of the heavenly beings and some of the stars to the ground and trampling them. It even challenged the Commander of heaven’s army by canceling the daily sacrifices offered to him and by destroying his Temple. The army of heaven was restrained from responding to this rebellion. So the daily sacrifice was halted, and truth was overthrown. The horn succeeded in everything it did. Daniel 8:10‭-‬12 NLT

What are the things that can make you and I to forsake daily sacrifice?

Daily sacrifice here means spending time with God. It is also called burnt offering. Indeed, it magnified itself to be equal with the Commander of the host [of heaven]; and it took away from Him the daily sacrifice (burnt offering), and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down (profaned). Daniel 8:11 AMP

Daily burnt offering is our way of worshipping with God. Jesus became our burnt offering and anyone that believe in him will be saved. Imagine many people stop believing in Jesus and the people (temple) are destroyed.

The prophesy says, after the daily sacrifice is halted truth will vanished.

For this to come to pass, the temple must be destroyed.

The temple is you and I. Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16 NLT

But lies is hidden to deceive many" 3. Duplicate kingdom: I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:14 NLT 4. Win the War: Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. Revelation 12:7 NLT 5. Grow Advocates: Matthew 27:23-24 NLT “Why?” Pilate demanded. “What crime has he committed?” But the mob roared even louder, “Crucify him!” [24] Pilate saw that he wasn’t getting anywhere and that a riot was developing. So he sent for a bowl of water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man’s blood. The responsibility is yours!” 6. Make the Word of God Redundant: Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. Psalms 127:1‭-‬2 NLT

INTRODUCTION:

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” John 3:17‭-‬21 NLT

God does not want to judge the world but he want to save the world by ensuring they believe in his ways and systems above personal agenda.

World means: the earth, together with all of its countries and peoples. "he was doing his bit to save the world"

a particular region or group of countries.

We need to know that when we see the "world best" it means the best among those who comply with the systems and structure put in place or generated.

There is no system without an agreement from or common goal. EVEN GOD (TRINITY)HAD TO COME TOGETHER TO CREATE HUMANS AND EVERYTHING ON EARTH.

There is always an agreement between the spirit world and the physical world. Matthew 18:18-19 NLT “I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. [19] “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.

Jesus had to agree to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth.

You had to agree to God's purpose for it to function.

Every single campaign done on earth is calling us to choose and agree with the world's agenda. It is calling us to agree to the world's philosophy.

THE DEVIL AS THE ENEMY Luke 10:19 NLT Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

Jesus gave us power over the enemy, here, it is the devil.

The devil takes different form. Snakes, scorpions and everything that represent the work of evil.

The devil also take a bodily form by corrupting the minds of people.

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Satan blinded the eyes of many so that they will not see the truth.

The best way to blind is distractions.

Distractions from the enemy are beyond the things we can see or fathom. Know that Lucifer is a master planner.

Revelation 12:17 NLT And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against the rest of her children—all who keep God’s commandments and maintain their testimony for Jesus. THE ENEMY IS NOT INTERESTED IN MANY THINGS EXCEPT THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD YOU ARE TRYING TO KEEP AND THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS.

• Long life • Health • Growth • Wealth • Marriage • Single • Fame • Poor • Big • Little • Best • Worst

Every other thing is a routine that helps us to see the glory, power, blessing, love and faithfulness of God. Because God made all things beautiful.

Luke 10:20 NLT But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.”

But Jesus warn us not to rejoice because evil spirit obey us (casting out, subjecting and taking over territories).

We need to know Jesus never said because they died. Demons don't die.

We should rejoice because our name is registered in heaven… What can make our name not registered in heaven is the greatest tool of the enemy.

I actually thought when we cast out demons or command them and they obey, I am the righteousness of heaven. THIS ALSO DOES NOT SAVE US.

Galatians 5:19-23 NLT When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, [20] idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, [21] envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. THIS ARE THE ENEMIES WE NEED TO WRESTLE AGAINST DAILY. [22] But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! THIS ARE THE WORK WE SHOULD BECOME.

PRAYER: JESUS CHRIST I BELIEVE IN MY HEART AND I CONFESS WITH MY MOUTH THAT YOU ARE MY SAVIOUR AND KING, COME INTO MY LIFE TODAY, BE MY LORD AND SAVIOUR, IN JESUS NAME I PRAY, AMEN!

HABITS AS THE ENEMY Colossians 3:5 AMP So put to death and deprive of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to God].

Habit means a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.

2 Peter 2:19 NLT They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you.

A habit is a learned behavior that becomes reflexive over time. The behavior is often triggered by a certain context. For example, you may automatically go brush your teeth after finishing breakfast as part of your morning routine.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 NLT We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. [5] We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. [6] And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.

WHAT CORRUPTS OUR HABITS: • Associations 1 Corinthians 15:33 NKJV Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

• Pleasure & Deceit Colossians 3:9 NLT Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 2 Peter 2:13 NLT Their destruction is their reward for the harm they have done. They love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a disgrace and a stain among you. They delight in deception even as they eat with you in your fellowship meals.

• Unconfessed Sins Romans 2:16 NLT And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.

HUMAN BEINGS AS THE ENEMY Luke 18:2-5 NLT “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. [3] A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ [4] The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, [5] but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”

The persistent prayer here had to do with the prayer for justice with my enemy.

The other flip of the story, Jesus never mentioned "my enemies" he said enemy.

Every enemy we personalized to ourselves is still serving the purpose of the common enemy.

Every human you can see on earth is either serving the purpose of God or the enemy. There is no sitting on the fence.

Acts 13:10 NLT Then he said, “You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?

Humans become enemy when they represent everything that is against the will of God.

The people in your life that you tag enemy are either distraction or against the will of God on earth.

The common enemy is very earth wise. He poses earth wisdom because of the age it has lived on earth.

He has created different distraction here there to bring confusion to every human.

It is very possible to spend our time focusing on the wrong enemy.

Every human (witch, wizard, occult, bandits, terrorist et al) are tools in the hand of the enemy for distractions.

Winning all these evil will still not eradicate the enemy completely because the true enemy is a spirit that has been judge for the appointed time.

Don't forget God does not go back on his word.

In Exodus the Israelites thought their greatest enemy is Egypt but they spent 40 years instead of 40 days in the wilderness without the Egypt.

Numbers 14:33-34 NLT And your children will be like shepherds, wandering in the wilderness for forty years. In this way, they will pay for your faithlessness, until the last of you lies dead in the wilderness. [34] “‘Because your men explored the land for forty days, you must wander in the wilderness for forty years— a year for each day, suffering the consequences of your sins. Then you will discover what it is like to have me for an enemy.’ WE CAN ALSO HAVE GOD AS AN ENEMY BECAUSE OF DISOBEDIENCE.

Many Israelites lost their lives in the wilderness and it was not done by any human but God.

These points is the reason why we will fall into distraction of the enemy.

2 Timothy 3:2 AMP For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane,

• Focus on Self: You need to stop looking into yourself for you to see true enemy.

The more we focus on ourselves the more the distracted we get in this world.

• Solve self Problems: How can you spend all your time on earth solving problems that only particular to self sufficient on earth and never kingdom mandate?

• Self sufficient on Earth: The moment our focus is only on enjoy the benefit of earth and nothing else matters, we are distracted by the wrong enemy.

  1. WITH ALL YOUR SOUL Soul is the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal.

It also means thee emotional or intellectual energy or intensity, especially as revealed in a work of art or an artistic performance.

Soul is the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical part.

Soul I where we become the unseen in our lives, emotion.

Can you put your emotion under the control and power of God?

Ecclesiastes 6:9 AMP What the eyes see [enjoying what is available] is better than [craving] what the soul desires. This too is futility and chasing after the wind. A PERSON THAT DOES NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER THEIR DESIRE CANNOT LOVE GOD WITH HIS OR HER SOUL…

How do you handle every emotion that surface into your body?

The word of God is the only calculator of what emotion we should yield into. Fear - Courage Joy - Depression Doubt - Faith Love - Hate Pride - Humility

Isaiah 10:18 AMP The Lord will consume the glory of Assyria’s forest and of its fruitful garden, both soul and body, And it will be as when a sick man wastes away. GOD HAS ABILITY TO DESTROY BOTH OUR BODY AND SOUL IS TEACHING US NOT TO GIVE INTO FEAR.

It will be impossible to love God with our soul without first surrendering our heart…

Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. [30] And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ [31] The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

1 Kings 2:4 AMP

so that the LORD may fulfill His promise concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons are careful regarding their way [of life], to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and mind and with all their soul, you shall not fail to have a man (descendant) on the throne of Israel.’

Loving God must flow in this dimension. Jesus Christ did not just speak a word coincidence. It did not spill it out accidentally.

The word are process. If you don't fill one or fulfill the first one you will find it difficult to walk in the later virtues.

The first process is to be ready to love God with your all. Be ready to submit all to him. SUBMISSION is the first key to love.

the action of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person.

the action of presenting a proposal, application, or other document for consideration or judgement.

You must be ready to allow God to take charge in all you do. You must be ready to let go to God.

1 Samuel 15:22 NLT

But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

This is beyond what we give but giving up our all to him.

The summation of everything is what Jesus laid down for us.

  1. WITH ALL YOUR HEART:

a hollow muscular organ that pumps the blood through the circulatory system by rhythmic contraction and dilation. In vertebrates there may be up to four chambers (as in humans), with two atria and two ventricles.

The central or innermost part of something.

  • Submission.

Matthew 27:50 AMP

And Jesus cried out again with a loud [agonized] voice, and gave up His spirit [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan].

  • Surrender.

Job 11:13 NLT

“If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!

  • Solely.

2 Corinthians 1:9 Voice

We thought we would have to serve out our death sentences right then and there. As a result, we realized that we could no longer rely on ourselves and that we must trust solely in God, who possesses the power to raise the dead.

  • Sincerity.

Matthew 5:8 KJV

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Love is what is everywhere, all around us, above us, under us, perpetuating air, water and earth.

And we are just like a radio that needs to get tuned in to its frequency.

Not through force, but through gentleness, through openness, through receptivity and willingness to surrender.

Luke 16:1-12 NLT Jesus told this story to his disciples: “There was a certain rich man who had a manager handling his affairs. One day a report came that the manager was wasting his employer’s money. [2] So the employer called him in and said, ‘What’s this I hear about you? Get your report in order, because you are going to be fired.’ [3] “The manager thought to himself, ‘Now what? My boss has fired me. I don’t have the strength to dig ditches, and I’m too proud to beg. [4] Ah, I know how to ensure that I’ll have plenty of friends who will give me a home when I am fired.’ [5] “So he invited each person who owed money to his employer to come and discuss the situation. He asked the first one, ‘How much do you owe him?’ [6] The man replied, ‘I owe him 800 gallons of olive oil.’ So the manager told him, ‘Take the bill and quickly change it to 400 gallons. ’ [7] “‘And how much do you owe my employer?’ he asked the next man. ‘I owe him 1,000 bushels of wheat,’ was the reply. ‘Here,’ the manager said, ‘take the bill and change it to 800 bushels. ’ [8] “The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light. [9] Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home. [10] “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. [11] And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? [12] And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?

Luke 12:13-21 NLT Then someone called from the crowd, “Teacher, please tell my brother to divide our father’s estate with me.” [14] Jesus replied, “Friend, who made me a judge over you to decide such things as that?” [15] Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” [16] Then he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops. [17] He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’ [18] Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods. [19] And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’ [20] “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’ [21] “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”

Genesis 25:27-34 NLT As the boys grew up, Esau became a skillful hunter. He was an outdoorsman, but Jacob had a quiet temperament, preferring to stay at home. [28] Isaac loved Esau because he enjoyed eating the wild game Esau brought home, but Rebekah loved Jacob. [29] One day when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau arrived home from the wilderness exhausted and hungry. [30] Esau said to Jacob, “I’m starved! Give me some of that red stew!” (This is how Esau got his other name, Edom, which means “red.”) [31] “All right,” Jacob replied, “but trade me your rights as the firstborn son.” [32] “Look, I’m dying of starvation!” said Esau. “What good is my birthright to me now?” [33] But Jacob said, “First you must swear that your birthright is mine.” So Esau swore an oath, thereby selling all his rights as the firstborn to his brother, Jacob. [34] Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and lentil stew. Esau ate the meal, then got up and left. He showed contempt for his rights as the firstborn.

Genesis 25:22-23 NLT But the two children struggled with each other in her womb. So she went to ask the LORD about it. “Why is this happening to me?” she asked. [23] And the LORD told her, “The sons in your womb will become two nations. From the very beginning, the two nations will be rivals. One nation will be stronger than the other; and your older son will serve your younger son.” ISAAC LOCVE ESUA BECAUSE BELLY SATISFACTION BUT REBECCA LOVE JACOB BECAUSE OF PROPHESY.

Genesis 27:1 NLT One day when Isaac was old and turning blind, he called for Esau, his older son, and said, “My son.” “Yes, Father?” Esau replied.

Genesis 27:28-29 NLT “From the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth, may God always give you abundant harvests of grain and bountiful new wine. [29] May many nations become your servants, and may they bow down to you. May you be the master over your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you. All who curse you will be cursed, and all who bless you will be blessed.”

Genesis 27:37-40 NLT Isaac said to Esau, “I have made Jacob your master and have declared that all his brothers will be his servants. I have guaranteed him an abundance of grain and wine—what is left for me to give you, my son?” [38] Esau pleaded, “But do you have only one blessing? Oh my father, bless me, too!” Then Esau broke down and wept. [39] Finally, his father, Isaac, said to him, “You will live away from the richness of the earth, and away from the dew of the heaven above. [40] You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. But when you decide to break free, you will shake his yoke from your neck.”

THE MESSAGE OF CHRISTMAS Matthew 1:23 NLT “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Matthew 1:18 NLT This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Abraham is the father that start the genealogy of the birth of Jesus Christ. God has already ordained the process from the beginning of time.

After the erasing of human kinds in the time of Noah still human race did not stop sinning, God had to initiate Abraham strategy to save human race.

God the creator of the universe is not shock by anything or unaware of any event. He pre-destined Jesus Christ to save us. You are not an accident.

I was waiting that the genealogy should fall on Mary the virgin mother of Jesus but to my surprise Joseph is the descendant to Jesus and Joseph never slept with Mary to have Jesus but Matthew could not erase Joseph from the equation. Matthew 1:16 NLT Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Mary gave birth to Jesus, who is called the Messiah. • Marriage is not sex but partnership of two people in destiny to fulfill a purpose. • God will always break a routine to bring his manifestation. • God has pre-destiny our purpose on earth, seek him and he will put you in the path.

Matthew 1:19 NLT Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. WE CANNOT FAULT THE PROCESS AND STILL EXPECT GOD TO WORK WITH US.

If Joseph was not righteous or know God, he won't believe the angel or Holy Spirit. God need us to know him and walk in his light so that his instruction will not be strange to us.

Matthew 1:25 NLT But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

WEALTH IN THE KINGDOM 3 Know Your Worth Genesis 30:27-30 GNT Laban said to him, “Let me say this: I have learned by divination that the LORD has blessed me because of you. [28] Name your wages, and I will pay them.” [29] Jacob answered, “You know how I have worked for you and how your flocks have prospered under my care. [30] The little you had before I came has grown enormously, and the LORD has blessed you wherever I went. Now it is time for me to look out for my own interests.”

Genesis 30:31-34 GNT “What shall I pay you?” Laban asked. Jacob answered, “I don't want any wages. I will continue to take care of your flocks if you agree to this suggestion: [32] Let me go through all your flocks today and take every black lamb and every spotted or speckled young goat. That is all the wages I want. [33] In the future you can easily find out if I have been honest. When you come to check up on my wages, if I have any goat that isn't speckled or spotted or any sheep that isn't black, you will know that it has been stolen.” [34] Laban answered, “Agreed. We will do as you suggest.” GET A DEAL NOT WAGES.

Meaning of Worth: the level at which someone or something deserves to be valued or rated.

Knowing your worth is a very personal thing and it really has nothing to do with anyone else. It's your internal measure of how you value yourself REGARDLESS of what other people might think of you or say to you. A personal manifesto is a declaration of your beliefs, a powerful set of statements.

What is the value you have placed on yourself? 1 Kings 21:2-3 AMP Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your vineyard, so that I may have it for a garden of vegetables and herbs, because it is near my house. I will give you a better vineyard for it, or, if you prefer, I will give you what it is worth in money.” [3] But Naboth said to Ahab, “The LORD forbid me that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you.”

Our worth can be traced to God. It can be traced to Jesus Christ dying for you.

WEALTH IN THE KINGDOM

Proverbs 10:22 It is the Lord's blessing that makes you wealthy. Hard work can make you no richer.

Wealth - Wealth is the abundance of valuable financial assets or physical possessions which can be converted into a form that can be used for transactions. This includes the core meaning as held in the originating old English word weal, which is from an Indo-European word stem.

Wealth is usually a measure of net worth; that is, it is a measure of how much a person has in savings, investments, real estate and cash, less any debts. For example, let's say John Doe has a $700,000 house, a car worth $20,000, a medical practice worth $400,000, and $5,000 in a checking account.

Wealth [N]. The most basic English definitions of wealth are "the condition of being happy and prosperous" and "spiritual well-being" (OED).

WEALTH IS THE ABUDANCE OF THINGS YOU HAVE AND ABILITY TO SHARE WITH OTHERS. Joshua 22:8 NLT he said to them, “Go back to your homes with the great wealth you have taken from your enemies—the vast herds of livestock, the silver, gold, bronze, and iron, and the large supply of clothing. Share the plunder with your relatives.”

HOW DO WE GET WEALTHY IN GOD'S KINGDOM? Genesis 30:25-26 GNT After the birth of Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, “Let me go, so that I can return home. [26] Give me my wives and children that I have earned by working for you, and I will leave. You know how well I have served you.” WEALTH IN THIS KINGDOM FLOWS IN THE DIRECTION OF ESTABLISHMENT.

Establishment establishment is something stable, settled or set up. a public or private structure (business or governmental or educational) including buildings and equipment for business or residence.

Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

1 Samuel 3:20 KJV And all Israel from Dan even to Beer–sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.

Establishment is creating a solution center for diverse problems we have on earth. These solutions is what gives us dominion on earth.

1 Samuel 14:47 NKJV So Saul established his sovereignty over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, against the people of Ammon, against Edom, against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines. Wherever he turned, he harassed them.

God will bring increase into what we have established. This goes in two ways. The place you are serving is meant to be your training place. The second part, your capacity to be established is dependent on the success of your service.

As a leader or a person that has someone or people serving your purpose, prepare a plan of establishing the person or people. This establishment might be allowing them to start new things for themselves or create a position for them to be established.

There must be clear purpose of establishment. 7 questions you must answer before seeking establishment. 1. Why do I want to be established? 2. How can I be established? 3. What problem will my establishment solve? 4. Where will it solve the problem? 5. Who else is solving these problems? 6. Is my establishment needed at all? 7. Does it meet the criteria of the Kingdom?

Every establishment in this kingdom need kingdom resources. Will the elders in heaven put their resources on it? What will be their ROI as investors?

Genesis 12:1 NLT The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.

YOUR PLACE OF LEADERSHIP 1 Your leadership is not needed everywhere. It is only needed in the place you have solution for. Your place of leadership is not just sitting in a high place. It is the problem you are solving. Most people have missed this. TRYING TO FIT INTO A SYSTEM GOD HAS NOT CALLED YOU INTO IS SIN. God is calling you into entertainment for example but you are trying to fit into politics. You must know the problem you want to solve. The solution must be within your capacity. You can only solve problems you have the solutions for.

The system we currently operate and submit into currently is called the world. Worry comes when we are not functioning or growing in the system of the world. • Wake up • Go to work • Come back from work • Grab a drink with friends • Join your family for holiday • Movies point us to true love • Sickness takes the place of health • Life makes sense more on social media. • Having people around. • Have money to buy all we want. 1 John 2:15-16 NLT Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. [16] For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. ALL YOUR WORRY IN LIFE IS AROUND THIS…

ONE THINGS PROMISES TO END ALL OUR WORRY TO FUNCTION PERFECTLY IN THIS SYSTEM - MONEY. BECAUSE IT IS GENERALLY ACCEPTABLE BY ALL.

  1. WORRY OF EVERYDAY LIFE [25] “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?
  2. WORRY FOR LENGTH OF DAYS [27] Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? THIS IS WHY HEALTH SEEMS TO SLOW MANY LIVES DOWN AND WE SEPEND OUR DAYS THINKING OF SOLUTION.
  3. WORRY FOR FULFILLMENT [34] “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Worry does not have to do with physical because something is always dropping in your mind. A word is taking your heart captive until we can no longer hear God.

The moment the enemy will trick us into worry and submit us to the hands of supposed solution called MONEY.

The believe money can solve your problems, you will start thinking on how to make more of it.

WHY WORRY? Matthew 6:24-34 NLT “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. [25] “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? [26] Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? [27] Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? [28] “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, [29] yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. [30] And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? [31] “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ [32] These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. [33] Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. [34] “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Worry feel or cause to feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems.

The basis of worry is that we want flow according to a pattern or system. The children of Israelite were in the promise land, having all the food but found themselves worrying about other things because the system of the land over power their mind.

Good Times and Bad Times

Isaiah 45:7-12 KJV I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. [8] Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it. [9] Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? [10] Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? [11] Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. [12] I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Don't just think because things are working fine it means God is in it. The major thing God uses to vet situations is right and wrong. Doing many things or generating all the ideas does not translate into God's agenda.

Most important thing is, the person we become in both the good and the bad times. This is hy you cannot be measured by what we are enjoying but the different events we find ourselves. The events will test our true character. If the good times make you more of the world, it does not mean you are living in the right way.

The right and wrong way of living is the true vetted life the Holy Spirit is asking us to live. The wrong way of living increases the darkness community. It makes the emblem stick and known.

The greatest influence in life is not money but the way we live our lives each day.

The bible (word of God), teaching of sound doctrine will help you get whether you are living in the right way.

I understand that some preacher of doom have taken over the pulpit to tell people don't sweat about the right way, just enjoy the good times. This has created vacuum in God's community because right way is what birth more people in the community not good or bad times.

THE TRAITS OF THE PHARISEES/SCRIBES • Rigid to the move of the spirit. • Faith in Personal Righteousness. • Choose traditional culture over God. • They are not concerned about producing fruits. • They are not teachable. • Dominating other humans is their pleasure. • They set standard they will not meet themselves. • Condemn what they don't have capacity for. • They put resources ahead of people. • They are not easily convicted. • They focused on legalities of the church/ministries than salvation.

John 16:5-11 NLT “But now I am going away to the one who sent me, and not one of you is asking where I am going. [6] Instead, you grieve because of what I’ve told you. [7] But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. [8] And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. [9] The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. [10] Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. [11] Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WE ALL SEEK.

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS GOD IS ASKING FOR: 1. Leaning on the Holy Spirit. John 16:10 NLT Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more.

  1. Faith in Jesus Christ.
  2. Doing What is Right.

Matthew 5:20 NLT “But I warn you—unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

Jesus is talking about two people that he warned the people of Israel to beware of. The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees.

The teacher of the law here are called the scribes.

The Pharisees saw themselves as a separate group of people. They were above the common people and saw that they kept to the religious laws. Scribes could interpret and regulate Jewish laws, but they did not interfere with or assume any role in the guidance of the people.

The both of them translate into Pharisees (Pride, better than others, they want to be politically special & classy). Scribes (Twister of God's law, interpreting it into emotions, culture, life style and way of living that suits them).

The Comfort we seek: 1. Words that brings life. Ruth 2:13 NLT “I hope I continue to please you, sir,” she replied. “You have comforted me by speaking so kindly to me, even though I am not one of your workers.” 2. Friends in times of pains. Job 2:11 NLT When three of Job’s friends heard of the tragedy he had suffered, they got together and traveled from their homes to comfort and console him. Their names were Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. 3. Help when we are helpless. Psalm 10:17 NLT LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. 4. Hope in times of trouble. Psalm 94:19 NLT When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. 5. Unfailing Love. Psalm 119:76 NLT Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me, your servant. 6. Nothing to worry about.

2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. GOD COMFORTS US SO THAT WE CAN COMFORT OTHERS.

COMFORT IN OUR WORLD Don't allow a comfortable country or place become God over your life. They become God when we believe it will solve our problems.

Ecclesiastes 4:1 NLT Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.

Comfort means a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint.

Anytime we buy all the houses, make more money and buy the luxury life styles the world can offer, is because we want to enjoy a level of comfort.

The truth is, they will not bring the comfort. Your body don't only need comfort but your soul does.

Nothing on earth can please your soul than your the Maker of the soul.

The world promises us or should i say we look forward to the place of the world that brings comfort to our body and soul.

Less privilege and under developed countries sees the developed and civilise countries as a place of refuge.

We claim the moment we get there our lives will be better than we can imagin

KNOWING THE TRUTH Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31‭-‬32 NLT

The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. Psalms 145:18 NLT

The quality or state of being true. fact or belief that is accepted as true.

Truth is what is believe is right and accepted by many.

The problems of truth in the world today, making the lies of the enemy replaced the truth of God.

The enemy selling lies for us and we are accepting.

It is also him tweaking what we know to be true but all are lies.

Everywhere you turn there are lots of information that brought confusion not know what to trust anymore.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6 NLT

Not knowing and walking in the truth will put you into permanent bondage. The enslaving of your souls by the enemy.

From the scripture Jesus made us understand that believers can walk in lies thinking they are actually walking in truth. This itself is bondage.

Truth is a process the process to Freedom: 1. Faithfulness to the Teaching of Jesus Christ. 2. Becoming Jesus Christ disciples. Representing Jesus Christ on earth. 3. Knowing the truth.

Act Of Worship Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. Luke 12:31 NLT

Meaning Worship: the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.

used in addressing or referring to an important or high-ranking person, especially a magistrate or mayor.

When God said we should seek the kingdom of God above all else, he is calling us into the act of worship.

Whatever we seek above all else is what we worship.

Take time to meditate on what we seek above all else.

KNOWING WHAT YOU SEEK ABOVE ALL ESLE: • It occupies your daily thoughts. Genesis 6:5 NLT The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. • It takes your time. Nehemiah 5:16 NLT I also devoted myself to working on the wall and refused to acquire any land. And I required all my servants to spend time working on the wall. • It is our total dependence. Psalm 104:27 NLT They all depend on you to give them food as they need it. Seeking the kingdom of God is enacting God's strategies and system on earth.

Everything we do every day must show our love for God and others to see, know and follow him. This is true worship.

You don't need to be called upon to do what you are meant to do. Obedience to fulfilling a task. Be ready to give accounts for everything you do. Finding a problem to solve.

• Gifts to Serve Kings. 1 Samuel 16:18 NLT One of the servants said to Saul, “One of Jesse’s sons from Bethlehem is a talented harp player. Not only that—he is a brave warrior, a man of war, and has good judgment. He is also a fine-looking young man, and the LORD is with him.” Gift is your potential that will solve problems for others. He arrived at the camp just as the Israelite army was leaving for the battlefield with shouts and battle cries. • Doing Everything to our Best. 1 Samuel 18:5 NLT Whatever Saul asked David to do, David did it successfully. So Saul made him a commander over the men of war, an appointment that was welcomed by the people and Saul’s officers alike

PART 1 INTRODUCTION: Hebrews 12:2 NLT We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honour beside God’s throne.

WHO IS A CHAMPION? • a person who has surpassed all rivals in a sporting contest or other competition. • a person who vigorously supports or defends a person or cause.

Deep down in every human's mind we all want to be a champion.

The first thing we must know is, Jesus is the number one champion. • He opens the door of salvation. The greatest love that can happen to any humans. 1 Corinthians 1:24 NLT But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. • Jesus mend the relationship problem between God and human. Romans 5:11 NLT So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. • Jesus Christ paid the price that ensure our place in eternity. 1 Corinthians 7:23 AMP You were bought with a price [a precious price paid by Christ]; do not become slaves to men [but to Christ].

The major problem of God and human is relationship problem. There won't be relationship if there is no: 1. Disobedience 2. Rebellion 3. Hatred 4. Pride 5. Jealousy

A man or woman that can overcome all these in the kingdom and help others to overcome it, is a champion in the kingdom.

Jesus Christ created Champions in everything but the most important is relationship with the Father.

Our goal in this life is not to be a champion of the things on this earth but to be a champion also for the kingdom.

God is creating everyone of us into champions.

We should not forget the enemy will not be happy to see you and I become the Champions God intends for us.

The enemy will fight us every step of the way.

Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” JOHN 20:17

God is ready to pay anything for you to ensure your freedom. John 3:16

The enemy is still lying to us about freedom.

Romans 6:14 NLT

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

Slave is a person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them.

Jesus for the first time called the disciples brother after he has paid for sin atonement.

What is the price? Dying without sin.

We were slave to the enemy. We were slave to the laws that has been corrupted by the enemy.

Romans 6:16 NLT

Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

It should be no surprise that it was the law believers that killed Jesus. It was not the unbeliever.

The only way to freed a slave is to pay the price attached to it.

Jesus paid our slavery price so that we can be save and free.

SLAVERY JESUS PAID FOR:

  • Fear
  • Life after death
  • Sin
  • Struggle
  • Lack

How to Walk in Freedom:

  • Love
  • Faith
  • Relationship

Matthew 22:29 NLT Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.

The word of God is more powerful than we think. Hebrews 4:12 NLT For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Hebrews told us that the word of God is not just powerful but alive.

This means if you are not reading the word of God you are dead.

This is where we should understand that knowledge is power.

Powers Gain by God's Word: • Power of Knowledge: You will have access to know the things God knows. • Power of temptation: You will know the truth it will set you free. • Power of Mind Control • Power of Choosing Right Path • Power of Overcoming

The world will always deceive us to have power that will not go beyond this world. The power of destruction. It is only the word of God that can illuminate our minds to know the truth.

Hope Through the Holy Spirit

Romans 5:5

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen.

Expectations and desires are not the issue, it is:

  • What are we desiring and Expecting?
  • Why do you want it?
  • How did you come by the expectation and desire?
  • When do you want to have it?

Expectation and Desire don't just happen.

It is either motivated internally or externally.

Internal: Experience, feelings, emotion, pain, knowledge, pattern and status.

External: People, events, materials, environment and Physical presence.

The most variable beyond is world is hope that is either planted by God or the enemy.

God will plant a hope through the help of the Holy Spirit.

The enemy will plant hope through lust (eyes, flesh & pride of life).

The question is which one is life and which one is death?

Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

I will choose life because it is will give us abundance on this earth and eternal.

Holy Spirit will only fulfil hopes that will

  1. Draw you to God.
  2. Love your neighbour.
  3. Fulfil God's purpose.

2 Corinthians 10:15 NLT

Nor do we boast and claim credit for the work someone else has done. Instead, we hope that your faith will grow so that the boundaries of our work among you will be extended.

Romans 5:3-5 NLT

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. [4] And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. [5] And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Everyone will experience storm in this life.

This does not mean we have don something wrong.

Every time you hold on to God, the enemy will show up.

Reasons For Trials and Storm:

  1. Submission: You either bow to God's will or you fall into the enemy's trick.
  2. Testing of our Faith: The moment you claim you love God and believe in Jesus Christ, the world will test your belief.
  3. Separation of chaff from fruits: There must be a clear difference from the people of the world and people of God.
  4. It is normal on earth: The earth is not a perfect place for abode. Even the slaves of the enemy has a hell prepare for them.

Our Role Play in Trials & Storms

  • It must be endured.

Romans 5:3 NLT

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.

  • Don't be surprised

1 Peter 4:12 NLT

Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.

  • Keep your faith alive.

1 Peter 1:7 NLT

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

  • Keep your joy alive.

1 Peter 1:6 NLT

So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.

  1. Develop a vision.
  2. Don't compare your life.
  3. Spend more time in Prayer.
  4. Thank God for everything.

Matthew 8:24-26 NLT

Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. [25] The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” [26] Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

The Greater Reward 2

Matthew 5:11-12 NLT

“God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. [12] Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

Jesus Christ in the image of God is a perfect picture of greater reward.

He had everything going on for him except persecution from the Pharisees.

He left all the accolades behind to face death for a greater reward.

The enemy does not make you worry because he enjoys your depression. The enemy is not interested in your death either. There is a greater reward he is looking for.

Deny God in the midst of storm, represent him to others and end with him in hell is his utmost reward.

This is why you need to understand what greater reward is all about.

  • Greater reward has nothing to do with you.
  • Greater reward beats personal gain.
  • Greater reward will always require something from you.
  • Greater reward is not known most times.
  • Greater reward can only be picture.

God need you and I to come to the place of greater rewards.

The place you stop thinking about your gain but God's gain.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BECOME THIS PERSON:

  1. Faith
  2. Deep Understanding of God's Word.
  3. Becoming a Steward

Jesus died not because he want to rule the world, but for the greater gain. You and I are the greater gain of God. Having a fulfilled life and come home to him in eternity.

He will use you to get to your brothers and sisters, please allow Him.

The Greater Reward 1

1 Samuel 1:9-11 NLT

Once after a sacrificial meal at Shiloh, Hannah got up and went to pray. Eli the priest was sitting at his customary place beside the entrance of the Tabernacle. [10] Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the LORD. [11] And she made this vow: “O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the LORD, his hair will never be cut. ”

When we go through issues in life we will see every against us, even though they are not.

Hannah was mocked by the other wife.

Her husband (Elkanah) did everything in his capacity and fair way but Hannah did not see him.

1 Samuel 1:8 NLT

“Why are you crying, Hannah?” Elkanah would ask. “Why aren’t you eating? Why be downhearted just because you have no children? You have me—isn’t that better than having ten sons?”

She was concerned about the meat shared and the portion that reached her.

The plan of God is not just for Hannah but the whole of Israel and the generation to come after.

God don't think the way we think. He does not see the way we see.

We can only see what is around us but God sees everything.

1 Samuel 1:3 NLT

Each year Elkanah would travel to Shiloh to worship and sacrifice to the LORD of Heaven’s Armies at the Tabernacle. The priests of the LORD at that time were the two sons of Eli—Hophni and Phinehas.

This the problem, God needed a prophet that will change the cause of Israelite leadership but Hannah was only seeing her unfruitful womb.

1 Samuel 2:12-17 NLT

Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels who had no respect for the LORD [13] or for their duties as priests. Whenever anyone offered a sacrifice, Eli’s sons would send over a servant with a three-pronged fork. While the meat of the sacrificed animal was still boiling, [14] the servant would stick the fork into the pot and demand that whatever it brought up be given to Eli’s sons. All the Israelites who came to worship at Shiloh were treated this way. [15] Sometimes the servant would come even before the animal’s fat had been burned on the altar. He would demand raw meat before it had been boiled so that it could be used for roasting. [16] The man offering the sacrifice might reply, “Take as much as you want, but the fat must be burned first.” Then the servant would demand, “No, give it to me now, or I’ll take it by force.” [17] So the sin of these young men was very serious in the LORD’s sight, for they treated the LORD’s offerings with contempt.

God was more concern about the principles than the pain of Hannah. Does it mean God is wicked? No! God knows that with Hannah having all the children she desire, she will not be here to see what happens to the life of others through the leadership of Eli's sons.

God want a prophet and Hannah is in dire need of a child.

God cannot come to the earth to prophet his people, he needed human being to be the prophet.

The bible made us know we are created in God's image and the feeling we have when we don't measure up, God has it also.

Don't just look at your situation with your own thinking or how you feel. Let the greater reward be birth, that is knowing what God will achieve through your want and desire.

Wisdom Secret of Lot

2 Peter 2:7-8 NLT

But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him. [8] Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day.

Lot was Abraham Nephew

We can always learn from people's mistake as well as we want to learn from their success.

This is why you should not rejoice when people or organisation fails, learn why it happened in the first place.

If you are only learning from people's success you are trying to cut corners to fast success.

As your mentors about their failures in life. Everyone has failed in one thing or the other.

Genesis 13:13 NLT

But the people of this area were extremely wicked and constantly sinned against the LORD.

LOT CAMPED AROUND WICKED PEOPLE. HE CHOSE RICH LAND NOT RICH PEOPLE.

Our choices determine how we last and where we end.

Rich people are more powerful than rich land.

Human beings are responsible for both poor and rich land.

Genesis 14:14 NLT

When Abram heard that his nephew Lot had been captured, he mobilized the 318 trained men who had been born into his household. Then he pursued Kedorlaomer’s army until he caught up with them at Dan.

WHAT WAS LOT LEARNING FROM HIS UNCLE?

We are always quick to leave when we feel we have grown. Lot only learn secrets of wealth and close relationship with God not secrets of winning war. GOD PLACE ME AND YOU IN THE PLACE WE ARE FOR A REASON.

WHY YOU NEED WISDOM PART 1

Proverbs 2:2-4 NLT

Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. [3] Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. [4] Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.

Wisdom means:

  1. the body of knowledge and experience that develops within a specified society or period.
  2. the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement; the quality of being wise.

The bible made us understand that we all need to search for wisdom as we run after gold and silver. This means wisdom is of great importance.

Then wisdom is not a want but a need.

Remember God said my people perish because they lack knowledge. The process to knowledge is tuning our hears to wisdom.

Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Proverbs 2:2

Above all you don't just need wisdom but Godly wisdom

Proverbs 2:6 NLT

For the LORD grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Reasons for Wisdom:

  1. Understanding the way of God.

Proverbs 2:5 NLT

Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God.

Fear of God connotes he has power over our body and souls.

Gaining the attention of God.

  1. Knowing right from good.

Proverbs 2:9 NLT

Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go.

  1. Uncommon Joy

Proverbs 2:10 NLT

For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy.

Ending With a Story:

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A rabbit asked him,” Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?” The crow answered: “Sure, why not.” So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested.

A fox jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up.

WHY YOU NEED WISDOM PART 2

Proverbs 2:2-4 NLT

Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. [3] Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. [4] Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.

  1. Protection from Wrong Choices.

Proverbs 2:11 NLT

Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.

  1. Protection from Evil People.

Proverbs 2:12 NLT

Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted.

  1. Protection from Immoral Spirit.

Proverbs 2:16 NLT

Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman, from the seductive words of the promiscuous woman.

The reason why she is an immoral spirit is because of the way king Solomon portray this woman.

Proverbs 2:18-19 NLT

Entering her house leads to death; it is the road to the grave. [19] The man who visits her is doomed. He will never reach the paths of life.

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, “I’ll give you $800 to drop that towel.” After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob.

After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 dollars and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks,…“Who was that?” “It was Bob the next door neighbor,” she replies. “Great!” the husband says, “Did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?”

Waiting In Patience

Romans 8:25 NLT

But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)

Waiting periods are moments we allow the promise of God to be fulfilled in our lives.

Waiting comes with expectation to receive a purpose.

Mark 15:43 NLT

Joseph of Arimathea took a risk and went to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body. (Joseph was an honored member of the high council, and he was waiting for the Kingdom of God to come.)

What Does Waiting in Patience Mean?

  • Being Courageous and brave

Psalm 27:14 - New Living Translation

Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

Meaning of courage: strength in the face of pain or grief.

Meaning of bravery: ready to face and endure danger or pain.

The very moment you decide to wait on God temptation will come.

  • Being still in God presence.

Psalm 37:7 - New Living Translation Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Deep silence and calm.

  • Depending on God alone.

Psalm 62:1 - Good News Translationwait patiently for God to save me; I depend on him alone.

Putting all your trust in God and not depending on anything else.

  • Planting seeds while we expecting harvest.

James 5:7 - New Living Translation Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord's return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.

  • Acknowledging God's help.

Psalm 40:1 - New Living Translation I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.

In the end, the more time I spent waiting on God the more I lost. I lost my fear of man. I lost my shame. I lost my anger and bitterness. I lost my distrust. I lost my inability to stand up for myself. I was just plain LOST in His love. All along He had been waiting on me so I would wait on Him. He was waiting to love on me.

Ecclesiastes 4:6 - Amplified Bible

One hand full of rest and patience is better than two fists full of labour and chasing after the wind.

Rest is needed to accomplish patience or to grow in patience. The rest i am talking about is not sleeping and snoring. It is trusting God for your entire life.

Sometimes we spend our day striving and labouring because we feel we can make our life better.

Meaning of rest:

be placed or supported so as to stay in a specified position.

Meaning of Patience:

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
