Growing up in Des Moines, IA, Bianca Flores was always fascinated by science and thinking about how it could be applied to the real world. That same curiosity would eventually lead her to pursue a PhD studying neuroscience at Vanderbilt University, offering her a window into how memories are formed and how connections between people are made. Her research continued at John Hopkins University, where she completed a doctoral fellowship. Throughout her time in academia, Bianca was often keenly aware that she was one of the only Latina in her social and professional circles. As a result, she found herself drawn to groups like SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) and the NIH-IMSD (National Institutes of Health funded Initiative for Maximizing Student Development). Thanks to groups like these, she was able to discover the undeniable power of community and connection, bringing her research full circle. In hopes of sharing that same empowerment and understanding with others, Bianca is developing a start-up that aims to create community by connecting young Latine professionals through networking opportunities, dating and supporting local businesses. When she’s not building community and reading about neural pathways, you can find Bianca trying new restaurants, seeing live music, and spoiling all three of her canine companions/children.

Guadalupe Garcia is the owner of Trompudo’s Tacos, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in traditional tacos. Guadalupe was born and raised in South OKC. Guadalupe’s parents, Marcelino and Esperanza Garcia are from a small rural town located in the municipality of Calvillo, in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Guadalupe is 1 of 5 children. Madison Horn has over a decade of experience in cybersecurity, defending American interests against foreign adversaries, nation-states, and terrorist organizations. This is Lee Lerner. He picked up running in 2019 urged on by a friend and a desire to drink milkshakes. He is about to complete his second marathon in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon on April 24, 2022. This is a bit of his journey, both literally and figuratively, of becoming a runner and loving it. Mostly figuratively because literally it's just running down Classen Blvd and "loving" it!

Francia Thompson is a Special Agent in the Investigative Division of the OSBI. She has been an agent since 2005 and has focused her career on crime scene investigations, where she has worked hundreds of violent crimes with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Thompson is currently assigned to the Cold Case Unit, where she uses her crime scene investigation skills to review and work cold cases. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Oklahoma. She is one of very few IAI (International Association for Identification) certified Crime Scene Investigators in Oklahoma. Thompson also assists other law enforcement agencies throughout the state with Spanish interviews and document translations. She teaches Crime Scene Investigation Techniques and Beginning Spanish for Law Enforcement courses to law enforcement agencies throughout the state. She has received numerous awards from the OSBI including red feathers, team awards, 2010 Agent of the Year, and the 2017 Medal of Service. Thompson is passionate about serving victims and being their voice. She brought the Cold Case Playing Cards Initiative to Oklahoma, a program that features unsolved homicide victims, missing persons, and unidentified bodies on playing cards distributed in Oklahoma prisons. Thompson was born in Mexico and her family immigrated to the United States when she was in grade school. Once she graduated high school, she wanted to serve her country and joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard, serving eight years. Her favorite quote is “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”- Walt Disney. To Thompson, this quote embodies the spirit of hard work and perseverance, regardless of the challenges one faces.

Mr. Lawson acquired a bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA); both degrees from the prestigious Oklahoma City University. Mr. Lawson is currently running for Oklahoma City Mayor; in which the election is February 8, 2022. He is the first African-American candidate in OKC history and would be the first African-American Mayor of OKC if elected.
Ramon Renteria was born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised in the beautiful small town of Hennessey, Oklahoma. Ramon works for the State of Oklahoma, in the Tourism and Recreation Department where he enjoys traveling to Oklahoma towns. In 2016 Ramon became an Honorary Commander for the United States Air Force, after being nominated for his work and help to the homeless community and being an advocate for the Hispanic community of Oklahoma.

Rogelio is also is the co-founder and programming director for the 7th Annual Oklahoma Cine Latino Film Festival and Youth Film Institute which focuses on delivering hands-on instruction to young high school-age scholars about the comprehensive art of filmmaking.
Corpus Christi based producer Svani Quintanilla (Principe Q) is noted as one of the founders of “Screwmbia”, pioneered by his duo Royal Highness (with DJ King Louie). "Screwmbia" is his modern take on cumbia, blending trap drums with slowed down cumbia rhythms. Bringing cumbia in to the modern times is an homage to his aunt, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, who also did so in the 80's and 90's. He is the oldest son of Kumbia Kings founder A.B. Quintanilla and has recently decided to carry on the cumbia torch with his band TRiPpY CHoLo.
Christina Audas is a bilingual and multicultural Latinx woman, mom, musician, and educator of Bolivian and United States heritage. She is an educator and a musician who has been developing and practicing creative teaching strategies in the areas of K-20 public education, public libraries, and more for several decades now. She strives everyday to embody her core belief in the power of art to transform and heal us on both an individual and collective level. Her life has taken her to live/work/play in diverse spaces of the planet: Santa Cruz - California, La Paz - Bolivia, Oaxaca - Mexico, Guadalajara - Mexico, Quito - Ecuador, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, Guatemala City - Guatemala, Madrid - Spain, Beijing - China, Kyoto-Japan, and currently Norman - Oklahoma.
