I was about 19 years old when I decided to use nude modeling to overcome my body image struggles. * * *
Back then, Nude Art wasn’t as empowering, and nudity itself was associated with shame, and disgust. The mere display of certain body parts could classify a woman as a whore/prostitute. * * *
Although I knew the consequences I would encounter by entering that world. I felt it was the boldest choice for me, not only to free myself from old societal paradigms, but to also conquer my fear. * * I explored Figure Modeling, Fine Art, Erotic Art, and Body Painting for 4 years. This experience has altered my way of life and now more than ever I understand the position I am playing in the world, and my destiny. * *
I had a wonderful opportunity to sit with @haley.helveston, a sex/relationship who believes in sexual enjoyment for all, body positivity, bettering your relationships etcc.. * * * We discussed the importance of loving your body and how important it is to instill self confidence at an early stage in young men and women. *
