You’ve been saved. You’ve destroyed some idols. You’ve done everything right — and yet something keeps pulling you back.

In Saved but Still Stuck, Pastor Ben Norvig digs into one of the most overlooked passages in the Old Testament: King Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, tore down idols, and stirred revival. But there’s a line in 1 Kings 15 that keeps showing up across generations of kings: “The high places were not removed.” That single detail — left unaddressed — cost Israel everything.

Pastor Ben unpacks the difference between an idol and a high place, why high places always require a sacrifice, and how the patterns we leave standing get handed to our kids. He also shares a personal reckoning with his own high place — the high place of approval — and why destroying it this week was the hardest thing he’s done.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for thirty years or you’re just curious about what any of this means, this message is for you.

We all know the feeling — looking around, seeing what everyone else has, and quietly thinking, “I want that.” In 1 Samuel 7 and 8, the people of Israel did exactly that. They had God as their King. They had miracle after miracle in their rearview mirror. And they still asked for a human king “like all the other nations have.”

In this message at Love Church Omaha, Luke Reelfs walks through the danger of getting what you think you want when it’s outside of God’s best — and gives a three-step path back: turn from idols, trust God’s leadership, talk to Him before you chase what everyone else is chasing.

What if your biggest obstacle is not fear — but the choice to hold back? In Judges 6, God calls Gideon a mighty hero while he is literally hiding in a wine press. That disconnect is the whole point. In Why You Keep Holding Back, Pastor Mike O'Connell unpacks the Greek word deilía from 2 Timothy 1:7 — often translated "timidity" — and reveals that it is not describing an emotion. It is describing a posture: the decision to shrink back when courage is already available to you.

God did not just call Gideon out of hiding. He stripped away every safety net — shrinking an army of 32,000 down to 300 — so there would be no question about who deserved the credit. If there is a decision you keep deferring, a conversation you keep avoiding, or a calling you keep softening to make it more comfortable, this message will challenge you. What God sees in you is not what your circumstances are telling you. And the step He is asking you to take might be the very thing that unlocks everything else.

What decisions are you making right now that might be holding you back from God's best in your life? In Deuteronomy 11, Moses stands before the people of Israel on the edge of the promised land and lays out one of the clearest invitations in all of Scripture — obey and be blessed, or walk away and miss out. In The Life You're Choosing, Luke Reelfs unpacks three things that happen when we say yes to God and actually mean it.

Obedience is not just a rule to follow. It is a posture that produces strength, positions us for provision, and leads to a victory that we could never manufacture on our own. God is not obligated to bless your version of His vision for your life — but when we align with His call, He sends what we cannot produce on our own. The choice is in front of us. Which mountain are you standing on?

What does it take to truly reconnect with God? In Leviticus 8, we see the preparation of a priest, cleansed, clothed, and consecrated for holy purpose. In Ready To Reconnect, Pastor Todd Doxzon reminds us that through Christ we have been made kings and priests, called to live set apart and represent Him in the world.

Reconnection does not happen by accident. It begins when we allow God to cleanse us through His Word, clothe us in Christ, and consecrate every part of our lives to His purposes. When we position our ears to hear His voice, our hands to serve, and our feet to walk in His ways, we step into the life He has prepared for us. The world has yet to see what God can do through one person fully dedicated to Him, and by His grace, that can be us.

What happens when a marriage slowly drifts off course without anyone noticing? In Ephesians 4 and 5, we see that God’s design for marriage is not built on feelings alone, but on intentional love, honor, kindness, and forgiveness. In this special marriage conversation, Pastor Todd and Denise Doxzon are joined by Marriage Coaches Kevin and Bree Bailey to unpack what it means for husbands to love like Christ, for wives to respond with respect, and for both to choose grace when it would be easier to withdraw.

Strong marriages do not grow by accident. They grow through daily sacrifice, tenderhearted forgiveness, and choosing covenant over convenience. When we reflect Christ in the way we love, serve, and respond to one another, we position our marriages to rise instead of drift and experience the kind of relationship God designed from the beginning.

What happens after God delivers us—but before we’re fully transformed? In Exodus 16, we see that freedom from Egypt doesn’t automatically mean freedom from an Egypt mindset. In Daily Manna, Pastor Mike O’Connell walks us through the story of God providing bread from heaven to show that while miracles can rescue us in a moment, transformation is formed through daily dependence on God.

God uses miracles to get us out of Egypt, but He uses daily formation to get Egypt out of us. As our church celebrates a powerful move of the Holy Spirit and lives being changed, this message calls us deeper—not just to momentary encounters, but to lifelong discipleship. When we learn to gather daily manna, become self-feeders in God’s Word, and trust Him one day at a time, we are shaped into people who walk in lasting freedom and experience God’s best for our lives.

What happens when trusting God requires surrender instead of certainty? In Genesis 22, we see that God doesn’t test Abraham to harm him, but to reveal and strengthen his faith. In Tested To Be Trusted, Pastor Mike O’Connell walks us through this powerful moment to show that faith is refined when we respond quickly, worship fully, and obey God even when the cost feels high.

Faith does not grow by avoiding the test. It grows by passing through it. When we stop asking how to escape the challenge and start asking what God is producing in us, we position ourselves to experience His provision, walk in His promises, and trust Him at a deeper level than ever before.

View Details

What happens when faith stops being an idea and starts becoming action? In Genesis 12, we see that God grows our faith not by giving us all the details, but by inviting us to trust Him with our yes. In Faith That Follows, Pastor Mike O’Connell unpacks the story of Abraham to show that real faith is formed when we listen to God’s voice, reject the idols that keep us stuck, and take steps of obedience—even when the outcome isn’t clear.

Faith does not grow in comfort or certainty. It grows in movement. When we choose obedience over excuses and trust God without waiting for perfect clarity, we position ourselves to walk in His promises, reflect His goodness, and experience God’s best for our lives.

What happens when God’s Word becomes the final authority in your life? From the very beginning, Scripture shows us that God’s Word is the source of all life, clarity, and purpose. In God Said It, Pastor Mike O’Connell reminds us that a miracle mentality begins when we stop questioning what God has spoken and start trusting it fully. When God’s Word is challenged, confusion follows, but when it is obeyed, fruitfulness always flows.

On this Commissioning Sunday, we anchor our lives in a simple but powerful truth. If God said it, that settles it. As we choose to live under the authority of His Word, we position ourselves to experience God’s best for our lives.

"Crash Course" is a thoughtful sermon by Pastor Todd Doxzon where he examines the themes of wisdom and foolishness, using personal anecdotes and biblical teachings. He underscores the significance of understanding the Bible as a life guidebook given by God, and the critical need for applying its teachings to daily life, rather than merely reading or listening. Drawing from a powerful metaphor in Matthew 7:24-27, Doxzon showcases the importance of residing one's life on the sturdy foundation of Jesus' teachings, stressing that only those who act upon Jesus' teachings will withstand life's metaphorical storms, while those who don't will be swept away. Moving forward, Pastor Todd draws attention to additional subjects, such as judgment and the golden rule, provoking the congregation to replace judgment and condemnation with understanding, forgiveness, and love. Furthermore, he juxtaposes the 'narrow gate' representing the challenging road to life against the 'broad gate' denoting the straightforward path to destruction, instilling the importance of selecting the narrow gate by unfalteringly loving God and committing ourselves to His teachings. By combining rich metaphors and accessible language, Doxzon humorously and effectively guides his congregation in recognizing the implications of their choices, encouraging them to actively seek wisdom and adhere to the Bible's teachings, thus assuring them of a life filled with God’s glory.

Have you ever felt intimidated by something God has called you to do? Or perhaps you're often fearful that you're going to mess things up. In I Can't, as Pastor Todd Doxzon teaches from Jeremiah 1, he reminds us that we are going to have to step out of our comfort zones to answer God's call on our lives. We were created by a loving, sovereign God who pre-programmed each of us with a unique and specific purpose. Though we may feel fearful at times, we can't allow our fears to hinder us from moving forward because fear is a liar. We pray you are encouraged by this message!

In Distracted, Pastor Todd shares a principle from Luke 10 that changed everything in his own life and could do the same in yours. He gave us the key to remaining focused in a world full of distractions - dining with your Heavenly Dad daily in the scriptures. This is the one thing that is needed - one scripture at a time, one day at a time and everything begins changing. We hope you take this challenge to sit with Jesus before you serve Jesus. We pray you are encouraged by this message.

In Scandalous Love Pastor Mike O'Connell teaches from Hosea 3. As we read about Hosea's life, we get a picture of God's unconditional love for us, in the way that he instructs Hosea to love Gomer unconditionally despite the many times she turned her back on Hosea. Similarly so, we oftentimes run to other things instead of turning to Jesus to fulfill us. But God desires to have a relationship with us despite our brokenness, and the beautiful part about it is the fact that we don't have to earn his love, we just need to receive it. We pray you are encouraged by this message!

In Like A Bird In A Cage Pastor Ben Norvig teaches from 2 Kings 18-19. As we read the story of Hezekiah, we can see that he was trapped and had no way to fix his circumstances. Yet despite how hopeless things seemed, Hezekiah had faith that God would help them, so he cried out to the Lord, asking for his help. Once he invited God into the situation, everything changed and God rescued the Israelites. What we learn from Hezekiah's example, is that the most important thing that we have is our faith: in what God has done; what God is doing; and what God will do. We pray you are encouraged by this message.

Have you ever had a tough time relating to someone? Or perhaps you have been really annoyed with someone and have been judging them. In In Our Shoes Pastor Todd Doxzon reminds us that we don't have the proper perspective to judge anyone. As he teaches from Hebrews 2:14-18, we learn that Jesus got in our shoes by taking on human flesh so that we could be free. As we put our trust in Jesus, he can free us from our fears, help us to build a bridge when needed, and help us when we're hurting. We pray you are encouraged by this message!

Sometimes when we want to please God, we completely miss the mark and our decisions have chaotic consequences. In How Did We Get Here? Pastor Todd unpacks from Genesis 3 the tension between God's sovereignty and man's free will. Be honest - Have you ever needed to ask for a second chance? In that moment, did you humble yourself and ask for forgiveness or did you instead allow pride to take over causing you to hide in guilt and shame?

Pastor Todd shares three key take aways within Philemon 1, where Paul writes to Philemon regarding second chances.

  1. Refresh : “Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God’s people.” 1:7

  2. Request: “That is why I am boldly asking a favor of you. I could demand it in the name of Christ because it is the right thing for you to do.” 1:8

  3. Repay: “If he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it to me.” 1:18

Our debts have been paid in full with Jesus on the cross! We are called to repay others with that very same grace!

It’s Time to Start Leading

As Christians, we are called to lead - in our homes, in our neighborhoods, in our communities - but many of us don’t know how!

Leadership is a topic that is easy to talk about but actually difficult to execute, however, God has given us a game plan to become effective, fruitful leaders!

In Titus 1:6 Paul begins to address leadership through a letter to Titus, “An elder must live a blameless life. He must be faithful to his wife, and his children must be believers who don’t have a reputation for being wild or rebellious.”

Pastor Mike “OC” O’Connell reminded us that God has given us a game plan. Now we can rest in the Lord, give Him our hearts so we may lead the way we are called to lead.

Maybe you’re at odds with someone. Perhaps you’ve been consumed by the current struggles we face as a nation - COVID, racial injustice, politics. Or, maybe, you’re struggling financially, physically, or spiritually.

Whatever it is - is there bitterness in your heart?

What if, instead of letting your situation create bitterness, you shifted your perspective away from “I” [individual] to “E” [eternal / God] through the joy of God and used it to move you from BITTER to BETTER?

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” - Philippians 4:6 NLT

Pastor Todd asked us “Do you have a secret sauce?”

As we begin our journey in the book of Philippians, we continue to notice there’s something unique about Paul as he writes letters from jail to the people of Philippi.

What was Paul’s secret sauce?? PERSPECTIVE!

“And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News.” Philippians 1:12

What if we all changed our perspective on what we are walking through in this season to be more like Paul? Taking all of what has and is “happening to us” into “how can I use this to help a ton of people?”

What does it take to win as a dad?

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord. - Ephesians 6:4

PT is joined to discuss this topic by Pastors Kappes Chatfield and Jim Slosson and Mr. Chad Sievers for this special Father's Day Encounter.

First, we should Know the Saying: Tons of Love Tons of Discipline Consistency Throughout

Next we need to Know the Season: Caretaker Commando Coach Consultant

PT gives us 3 practical handles as we are raising our children. 1. Discover 2. Develop 3. Deploy

We hope you are encouraged and are able to take to heart some of the wisdom shared by these four godly men.

Pastor Todd points out that even though we continue to face issues like the pandemic or racial tensions, we each have a much bigger problem... OURSELVES!

“The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.” Galatians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

‬‬Everyday we are presented with opportunities to react out of the flesh or to operate in the Spirit. How we choose to connect in these moments effects what’s to come.

We Are All One in Christ

“...we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ with no distinction between us.” Galatians 3:28

Pastor Todd joins forces with CEO of Abide, Josh Dotzler, as well as Love Church worship leader Cornell Leffler to tackle the diversity issues we are facing as a culture.

Diving into three key topics: Hypocrisy, Equality, and Empathy, these three Christian men share their hearts and their experiences regarding racism to shed light on how to prevent unconscious biases from continuing to hold us back from creating change in our world.

In Galatians 1:6-12 Paul addresses how the people of Galatia had polluted God’s Grace by altering or changing His Good News - leading to their people drifting away from his goodness.

Kap shared that we are facing similar struggles today in a world of chaos. We must focus on popping 4 major bubbles to get back to the good news:

  1. The Government is not our God
  2. Media is not our Messiah
  3. Our hope is not this earthly home
  4. The virus is not our final verdict

We pray for you to press into each one of these themes as you continue to walk in this season and to make the decision to partner with the spirit of faith over fear as we press forward.

The GIFT of weakness

Weaknesses - we all have them. It seems as though during this stressful season of isolation and constant unknowns; our weaknesses are becoming more prominent.

This week O.C. share’s Paul’s heart regarding how our weaknesses are actually a GIFT as written in 2 Corinthians 12.

  1. Weakness protects us from pride, preventing us from boasting and instead reminding us of our need for God. Like Paul’s thorn in his flesh, it’s a constant reminder that we must remain humble because we are not perfect.

  2. Our weakness propels us to pray. In a season of weakness, how often do you find yourself on your knees praying to God for help, for healing, for change, for anything. Our weakness draws us closer to Him.

  3. Weakness precedes the power of our purpose. God’s power is found in our weakness not in our strength. While we may admire the strong, we connect with others through our weaknesses. We are challenged to share our weaknesses so that the power of God can strengthen us.

This week, would we pray to not attempt to be self-sufficient but rather to press into the Lord through prayer, be vulnerable enough to put our weaknesses on display, and allow God to guide us in strength.

In 2 Corinthians 9, Paul dives into giving. God has given each and every one of us so much. In return we are called to return a just portion of what we have been given.

Paul urges us to be READY to give. Being ready doesn’t come from pressure from others to do so but instead comes from prayerfully considering what God is asking you to give. Your REASON for giving will come from your heart. Opening your hands and giving freely will RESULT in the ability to continue to give abundantly because God provides.

Pastor Todd and all of us at Love Church want to thank you for trusting in the Lord and giving as you are called to make our future home possible.

The Love Church family wants to wish all the mama’s a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Pastor Todd & his beautiful wife Denise Doxzon came together this Sunday to share how she “scents” the tone in their home for a faith filled family environment.

Denise shared with us that “our aroma” is A Representation Of My ABBA. The more we are connect to our Father God the more we are able to spread his scent to those around us.

As Pastor Todd asked Denise questions, she shared a memory of a close friend asking her “How do you want your kids to remember you?” This question stuck with her; reminding her to press into the Lord when patience is lacking, worry is striking, and she needs that reminder of having an attitude of gratitude.

We invite you to watch this wonderful Mother’s Day conversation.

Think back to a time where you were making choices for your life that were preventing you from living out God’s best. Maybe you were stuck in a season of pride and ego – allowing your stubbornness to cloud your judgement – letting sin guide you day to day. We have ALL been there!!

During this time, you are confronted by someone who loves you. Rather than sitting back and watching the destruction they come to you and try to help course correct. Do you accept it or do you slip away and self-quarantine out of guilt and shame?

Pastor Todd reminds us that his passion for Love Church comes from the desire for everyone to experience God’s best for their lives!

It is time to come out of your self-quarantine and experience what God has in store for your life. You’re not alone! Here at Love Church, we want to help you start your journey to experience all that God has to offer.

Pain is inevitable! We have all endured painful situations and will most likely face pain in the future. Most of us tend to pout over the pain rather than purposing it

Pastor Todd reminds us God is our ultimate comforter in times of pain. As believers, we are called to channel God’s love to help comfort others. Sharing in suffering allows us to RELATE to one another giving us the ability to also share in the comfort.

During times of pain, who do you turn to? Most of us allow our pride to get in the way and believe our own strength will get us through it. But what if we RELIED on God to lift us back up? What if we looked up and gave it to Him - the one who raised Jesus from the dead. He can do all things.

By relying on God - we are allowing him to RESCUE us from our pain! God has rescued us before and he will do it again! God is in the business of miracles - What do you need rescued from right now?

Victory Over THE Virus – 1 Corinthians 15

Virus. Vaccine. Victory.

For the last few months, the corona virus has plagued our world. As we practice social distancing and self-quarantine - millions of people are being diagnosed with COVID-19. While this should be taken seriously, why aren’t we more concerned about the Virus that infects every human?

The Big “V” virus we are referring to is SIN! “When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.” Romans 5:12 NLT

God believed we all deserved a chance at a cure from our sinful nature. Therefore, he gave us his only son, Jesus, who sacrificed his life for our sins. The blood of Christ is the vaccine we need to save us from this Virus!

“He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.” 1 Corinthians 15:4

This is the ultimate Victory. Those who belong to Christ will be given new life void of this virus. He is Risen!

From all of us at Love Church, we want to wish you and your loved ones a blessed Resurrection Sunday!

God is inviting us into a unique season - one of discovery, learning, and growth.

What are you doing with that time? Are you settling in and binge-watching different shows or are you using this time to grow deeper in your faith and closer to God?

As we continue in this unique time with the frequent changes, spend time with the Lord praying for Him to reveal what your gift is in this season. Pray for him to open your heart to teach and grow you in this area. Also, pray for him to guide you in Discerning when to embrace your gift and reveal his goodness to others around you.

Communications Pastor Kappes Chatfield challenges us with this question:

Coronavirus! The topic is everywhere. Sanitizing our homes - sanitizing our hands - taking addition precautions to remain virus free. We are in a unique season as a society. Many of us are healthy and could withstand the symptoms of COVID-19 if we contracted it yet not everyone is as fortunate; some are more prone to serious complications of this illness. As a community, we are sacrificing our day to day freedoms to ensure others in our society remain safe through social distancing and shutting down our cities.

Today, Executive Pastor Mike “OC” O’Connell reminded us today that as Christians, we should be practicing similar tactics to spread the love and joy of God with those around us. In 1 Corinthians 8 - 9, Paul explains how knowledgeable believers should give up their freedoms to better relate to those less mature in their faith. When Paul was with the Jews, he would live under Jewish law - not because he was bound by those laws, but because he was trying to relate to those he was teaching. His love and knowledge of God was better received when he was living amongst the Jews not just preaching knowledge at them.

As we all continue to adjust to our new routines in this season, we challenge you to find opportunities to love others right where they are and continue to introduce them to the Lord.

With a number of online resources being made available daily here at Love, we want to continue to share the goodness of God while loving others right where they are at.

The Corinthians had some relationship questions for Paul. Today Pastor Todd and his wife Denise Doxzon explored Paul’s response to these questions in 1 Corinthians 7.

Should we have SEX? Should we SEPARATE? Should I stay SINGLE?

Although it was written to a church started almost 2000 years ago, Paul’s response is still fitting for us still today.

When you build a home, would rather build on a solid foundation of rock or on a bed of sand?

What materials are you building with? When a fire is lit will those materials withstand?

After your home is complete and final inspection takes place - will your home pass or will there be fatal flaws?

Without God as our foundation - our lives can not withstand what the enemy has in store.

Just because we’re GIFTED, doesn’t mean we’re GREAT!

The church in Corinth was experiencing some problems after Paul left them. He sent them this letter to correct and encourage them.

Pastor Todd brought the word today and helped us to see how this same message applies to us today. We have all been IMPARTED with gifts through the Holy Spirit, INVITED to participate in what He is doing, and called to be UNIFIED as the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT) I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus.

We have all racked up a HUGE debt, a debt of sin that we can't repay. Fortunately, for those of us that call Jesus, LORD, the debt is paid.

We live in a society that asks NOW WHAT? We want to know what the plan is, what's next, what we are supposed to do.

Pastor Todd brought a message from Romans 12, where the apostle Paul tells us that we are to give our BODY and BRAIN to God to know his good, pleasing and perfect will. We are also all given a GIFT to use unto the LORD and are called to lay down our GRUDGE and walk in the opposite spirit.

Check out this teaching and begin to walk in what God has for you today.

It is said that people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

We who have been saved are all a part of the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We are the messengers that are called to share the Gospel message with those around us.

If the body of Christ were to take the challenge to be on mission in the places that God has put us, our neighborhoods, work, school and even the nations, then we would see God move powerfully.

Check out this powerful teaching from Mike "OC" O'Connell and be a participant in what God is doing.

The Mirror reveals reality!

Pastor Todd, helps us understand what Paul is referring to in chapter 3 of the Book of Romans.

First, since SIN first entered the world we have struggled. God gave us the law to SHOW us those areas of our lives that are misaligned, but the law doesn't save us so God had to provide the SOLUTION.

HOPE is defined as a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

For hundreds of years the Israelites waited for the coming Messiah.

“And now I know that none of you to whom I have preached the Kingdom will ever see me again.” - Acts 20:25 NLT

Saying GOODBYE can be difficult and emotional. On his way to Jerusalem, Paul stopped to have one last meeting with the leaders of Ephesus. Pastor Todd broke down this meeting into three points we can use still today.

GUARD: Your HEART, EYES & TIME.

Live in the perfect GRACE given to us by Jesus so that you may be built up and receive His peace and hope.

And finally be generous and GIVE of your time, talents and treasures. Just as our Lord Jesus said, It is more blessed to give than receive.

Check out this message, GOODBYE, because we are all leaders and can apply these themes to our own lives.

“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” - Acts 20:24 NKJV

What do you do in a tough season? Our human tendency is to complain or get frustrated.

Paul and Silas were thrown in prison on account of preaching the good news. In this situation they chose prayer and the singing of hymns of praise.

Youth Pastor Michael O'Connell "OC" brought a word of encouragement for us today called, “Praising God in Crappy Circumstances.”

How do you feel when you see a message that says, "WE NEED TO TALK."

As Christians we are called to confront, but many of us come up with reasons why we don't.

Today Kappes Chatfield broke down a story from Acts 13 where Saul, also known as Paul, confronted a sorcerer. He gave us all some practical handles on when and how we can confront.

'Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.'

Have you ever experienced a COLLISION?

Saul of Tarsus was on a COLLISION COURSE with the creator, Jesus the Christ.

“As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” - Acts of the Apostles 9:3-4 NLT

Sometimes the most kind thing God could do is create a COLLISION.

Following our collision, the Lord will give us a COMMAND.

The call is to CONNECTION, with God and with His people.

The situation wasn’t a coincidence but rather a collision. Check out this week’s message and you too can answer the call with, “Yes Lord, here I am.”

Our primary goal for All In is 100% Engagement or PARTICIPATION.

You see in Nehemiah 2-3 an example of this same theme. After he arrives in Jerusalem he takes the time to do an INSPECTION of the situation. After his inspection he then extends an INVITATION to all the people there. After the Israelites respond that they are ALL IN, Nehemiah then DELEGATES responsibility to rebuild the walls.

You are invited to PARTICIPATE with us on this All In journey.

Today marks the halfway point for ALL IN, a two-year generosity initiative we've embarked on as a church to all the Lord to grow us in our faith. To celebrate the journey thus far and to get new members of the Love Church family up to speed, we'll be spending the month of October in a series called STILL ALL IN.

Today, Pastor Todd kicked off the series with a message titled "Motivation" from the first chapter of the book of Nehemiah.

Jesus gives us all the opportunity to respond, "I love you."

Baptism Sunday!

Pastor Ben brought us a redemption message out of John 18 and 21. Do you remember when Peter denies Jesus before the crucifixion and then Jesus asks Peter,

'After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”

“Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.”

“Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him. Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

“Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I love you.”

“Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said. A third time he asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”

Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep.'

John 21:15-17

“Many people did believe in him, however, including some of the Jewish leaders. But they wouldn’t admit it for fear that the Pharisees would expel them from the synagogue. For they loved human praise more than the praise of God.” ‭‭John‬ ‭12:42-43‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Whose acceptance and approval do you live for? MEN OR GOD’s?

Many of us strive for the approval of those around us. How we look, what we do and what we have and what others say about us are frequently the things that we rely on to determine our worth.

This kind of acceptance is TANGIBLE but it is TEMPORAL.

However, we read in Ephesians that God calls us CHOSEN and ACCEPTED.

This love and approval that come from Jesus is INTERNAL and ETERNAL.

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In John 6 we read about the miracle of Jesus feeding 5000 men (probably 20,000 or more total). This account is in all four Gospels and we know from the different account that the disciples approached Jesus with a suggestion...send the people away so they could eat.

Jesus response...”You feed them.”

Here enters in the dilemma...how in the world are they supposed to feed 20,000 people on such short notice? In a lot of ways in our lives we face what seems like impossible situations like this one...

We can choose to bring God our “not enough” and watch how over time our “not enough” turns into more than enough in the hands of Jesus.

What is he calling us to give to him?

Andrew realizes all they have to give to Jesus is a little boys lunch (5 loaves and 2 fish)

And what are the disciples perspectives?

“But all we have” Matt 14 “But we have only” Luke 9 “But what good is that” John 6

Doesn’t that sound a lot like the BUT in our current circumstances...

What is your CONDITION? Spiritually, Emotionally, Physically...

“Crowds of sick people—blind, lame, or paralyzed—lay on the porches. One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years.” - John 5:3, 5 NLT

When Jesus meets us in our condition He is going to ask us QUESTION.

When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” - John 5:6 NLT

This is not a trick question. We have to decide that we want Jesus’ healing touch on our condition.

Even in our complaining and disbelief Jesus loves us and will encourage us to: “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” John 5:8 NLT

In our own strength this is impossible, but in and through Him we can do all things. When we obey the command then we receive the capacity.

We can be CURED!

Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! John 5:9 NLT

We don’t know why God heals some and not others, but God is still in the miracle business. Watch POOL PARTY and be inspired by our King Jesus!

As we conclude our reading of the Gospel of Luke, PT brings us a message from chapter 24, the road to Emmaus.

Jesus has risen but these two followers are mourning because their EXPECTATION was that he would be their conquering king. Our Lord, hidden from being able to be recognized by them, takes this journey to give them an EXPLANATION of Himself throughout the Old Testament.

When they reached their destination and broke bread with Jesus they received ENLIGHTENMENT and understood all that had been told to them.

What can you DO to earn right standing with God?

We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags... - Isaiah 64:6 NLT

When we understand what Christ has done with us we no longer rely on our own good works, but are justified as righteous.

and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. - Philippians 3:9 NLT

It's not about PERFORMANCE, all about POSITION.

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." - James 4:6 (NKJV)

Most are familiar with Luke 15 known commonly as the parable of the prodigal son, but today PT shows us that it could also be seen as the parable of the patient father.

No matter what you’re walking through, how far you’ve drifted away, no matter the riches you’ve squandered…the Father is always looking for you, watching you, waiting for you to come home.

And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must CELEBRATE with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.' So the party began. - Luke 15:23-24

Do you need a second chance? No matter how far we run, God’s love is inescapable. Life running from Him is like running on a treadmill, a lot of effort but no change in our location.

"Where can I go to escape your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there." Psalms 139:7-8

Running from God is REBELLION

When we are in rebellion The Lord will send warning to us in the form of REPERCUSSIONS. Sometimes the Savior Sovereignly Sends a Storm. Your decisions will not only affect you but also those around you.

If we know that the storm is a result of our choices and actions, our great God gives us the opportunity to end the season. REPENTANCE. We can make the decision to turn away from our disobedience and return to the Lord.

Watch RUNNING where PT gives us some practical handles from the book of Jonah.

“But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.” - Daniel 6:10 NLT

In our first week of Orange Dayz, Pastor Mike O’Connell brought a message from Daniel. He shared with us a formula that we might follow to stay faithful.

Faithful Followers:

Are Consistent: When we use our God give ability to do all we can to serve an audience of one it builds credibility.

Are Criticized: - when we hold true to what is right, the world will criticize and try to condemn us

Don’t Compromise: - when attacked by the enemies of God, we choose God’s plan

And when the attacks come: “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” - Ephesians 6:11 NLT

“...and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” - Ephesians 6:17b NLT

Do you believe in miracles?

To believe in the Bible is to believe in a Sovereign, holy, perfect creator who does what He wants for his own reasons whether we understand, approve, or like what He does or allows.

When we doubt in God’s miraculous power we may find ourself SILENCED. “But now, since you didn’t believe what I said, you will be silent and unable to speak until the child is born. For my words will certainly be fulfilled at the proper time.” - Luke‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

But when we believe and are in communion with the Lord, we will break out in SONG of praise and worship.

Our God is one of SECOND chances. “Unbelief seals the lips, and they remain sealed until faith returns and bursts forth in praise and witness.” - William McDonald

“Instantly Zechariah could speak again, and he began praising God.” - Luke‬ ‭1:64‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When confronted with challenge “HOW DO YOU SAY HOW?” Watch this message from PT and be encouraged because it’s never too late.

Do you like trailers or previews to a movie? In Mark 8:31 Jesus gives us a PREVIEW of coming attractions. He is going to suffer and die, but then will rise from the grave.

Peter had a limited PERSPECTIVE and tries to rebuke Jesus because he didn’t like the preview. If we would have deleted the scene, it would destroy the story.

We have a need to eat both physically and spiritually. Sometimes we snack on the temptations put before us by the enemy but still end up unsatisfied.

In Mark 6 when He feeds the crowd, Jesus shows us this FEEDING FORMULA... DIVIDE: Get in a small group. Take the time to take a seat.

Pastor Ben brought a powerful message out of the Gospel of Matthew.

You live life from a certain perspective. This seat is what many call their identity.

In these chapters we see four different people and what their seat is: Mary - put down Barabbas - notorious Judas - secret sin Peter - self-confident Jesus' seat on the cross has the power to change our seat if we let it. Not everyone took advantage of this opportunity.

“Your wilderness is fertile ground for a miracle.” - Kappes Chatfield

When Jesus wanted to feed the crowds of people, the disciples were overwhelmed by their lack of resources to provide for such a large group.

When we find ourselves in a season of doubt - DON’T DENY YOUR DEFICIT! TAKE INVENTORY of what He is providing, TAKE A SEAT to receive and GIVE THANKS FOR WHAT YOU GOT.

Watch, “Enough” and learn about the God of our lack. Then stop and remember to take inventory of His faithfulness towards you this week.

“The disciples replied, “Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?...They all ate as much as they wanted. Afterward, the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food.” Matthew 15:33, 37 NLT

There are defining moments that can forever change our lives. Today, Mike O’Connell brought a message out of Matthew 14 that could flip your perspective on the very storm you are walking through.

Watch “Don’t Look At The Waves” and let’s approach this week with the proper perspective. Would we embrace each day as a gift and make the most of every opportunity.

“Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” -Matthew 14:29-31

'He told many stories in the form of parables, such as this one: “Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds.' - Matthew 13:3

In this parable, Jesus, tells us about four different types of soil that the seeds land on.

SOLID - the footpath, where birds come and snatch it away SHALLOW - the DEPTH of ROOT = BREADTH of FRUIT STRANGLED - The WORLD crowds out the WORD SOFT - The seed take ROOT and bears much FRUIT

Watch "SOIL SCAN" and be encouraged to let the Holy Spirit examine the condition of your heart so that you can become AWARE and make an ADJUSTMENT.

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” Matthew 9:36-38

‘Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil.' - Matthew 4:1

Immediately following his baptism Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights. During that time, Satan came to him and tempted him. In his message today, PT shared with us that we need to be mindful of:

WHEN the temptation will come - when we are weak WHAT types of temptations to be aware of HOW to fight them - WE WIN WITH THE WORD!

Watch "Tackling Temptation" and hear a practical lesson on how to fight back.

In Matthew chapter 3 we are shown the ministry of John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin and more importantly the prophesied forerunner to Jesus' own ministry.

'Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting, “Clear the way through the wilderness for the Lord ! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God!' - Isaiah 40:3

John was called to prepare the way for Jesus, but what does that look like?

First, GET RIGHT! Repent, turn from your old ways. Is God calling you to turn away from something as we begin 2019?

Next, GET READY! Jesus could come back at any moment.

Paul the Apostle tells the church in Thessalonica and us today: 'For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.' - 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3

If you only had three days left to live, what would you do?

Finally, GET REAL! We have all failed, but the Lord is not finished. We can begin to move forward and change our Lip Service to a Lifestyle. It is going to require CONSISTENCY so join a small group or find other believers that can help hold you ACCOUNTABLE.

Watch "STRAIGHT SHOOTER" the first message of 2019 as we read through the Gospels and Acts.

During Christmas we can quickly find ourselves DISCONNECTED and DISTRACTED, focusing on those perfect gifts that could be under the tree.

Pastor Todd’s prayer this Christmas is for each of us to remember the true reason of the season and to find our “CHRISTENTMENT” in the Lord!

“Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be CONTENT with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.” -Philippians 4:11-12 (NLT)

"Now go up into the hills, bring down timber, and rebuild my house. Then I will take pleasure in it and be honored, says the Lord." - Haggai 1:8

What is the calling God has put on your life? What’s been getting in the way of your calling?

We are all called to something. We may start off strong, but too often we over-spiritualize our complacency and become stuck in our own thinking.

Kappes Chatfield brought a message out of Haggai 1 encouraging us to not allow our comfort to rob us of the calling on our lives.

Watch, “Get back To Building,” and take a step out of being stuck.

Is there something in your life THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE right now? Is there a problem with your perspective?

Pastor Todd showed us through the book of Habakkuk that the Lord is sovereign over each of our situations. We must embrace the WRESTLE, WAIT in faith and rejoice in WORSHIP!

Watch, “That Doesn’t Make Sense,” and let Him settle your soul today!

“The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” - 2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What an incredible day for Love Church. Today was the reveal of our total commitments from the All In initiative. This is just the beginning of the next chapter for Love Church.

First Time Commitments: 61 Total Commitments: 331 Total Dollars Committed: $5,426,968

Pastor Todd brought a message out of the Book of Micah that relationships are tricky. Sometimes in our walk the Lord has to give us a REPRIMAND and a REMINDER of who he is and all He has done for us. The REQUIREMENT is from Micah 6:8 which says: "No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."

Watch "What's Good" and remember what the Lord has done for you and what He asks of you.

If we choose to ignore the Lord's instructions we will end up living NARROW-MINDED; leading us into DARKNESS and before we know it, finding ourselves in ISOLATION - missing out on all that He desires for us.

Watch, "Instructed" and decide to walk with the Lord and follow his calling on your life.

Our God is a God of relationship.

"For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. " - 1 John 2:16 (NLT)

"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you." - Joel 2:25 NKJV

When we find ourselves in a time of RUIN we are never too far from God to REPENT and see His power to RESTORE what the locust have eaten.

Watch, “Restoration” out of Joel 1-2 and experience all that God has for our lives when we REPORT to Him and tell others what He has done for us.

“So the people of Israel—every man and woman who was eager to help in the work the Lord had given them through Moses—brought their gifts and gave them freely to the Lord.” Exodus 35:29

In Exodus 35 we see the first building project: God COMMANDS the Israelites to build a tabernacle to worship Him. Moses gives a CHALLENGE to the people. The people PRAY, OBEY and joyfully CONTRIBUTE.

Over the last 5 weeks of the ALL IN Series we have witnessed OBEDIENCE, SACRIFICE, FAITHFULNESS and PERSEVERANCE - Sunday we had the opportunity, as a family, to put all those pieces into play and live the Bible together.

Commitment Day was an invitation for those who God has sent to Love Church to go ALL IN over the next 2 years and release resources the Lord has entrusted to us.

“They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!” So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough!” So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings. Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project.” Exodus 36:5-7

When the Israelites obeyed and contributed they had more than enough. We are believing that what the Lord releases through All In will be as well!

Watch “More Than Enough,” and ask the Lord if he would have you join us on this journey!

At 85 years old, Daniel was one of the highest ranking officials in a pagan and foreign land. Because of his FAITHFULNESS he was frequently chosen for PROMOTION.

The other leaders had a jealous spirit and sought Daniel’s PERSECUTION but they could only do so using Daniel’s FAITHFULNESS against him.

“But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.” - Daniel 6:10

Daniel knew that his faithfulness to the true and loving God meant he would be sent to the lion’s den. Daniel’s FAITHFULNESS caused the Lord’s hand to give him PROTECTION.

Let’s be ALL IN in our FAITHFULNESS!

As we launched into our 2 year journey of ALL IN, Pastor Todd brought a message out of Daniel 1 called “Obedience”

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” (Daniel‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

When Daniel was faced with the ways of the world he made a DECISION to remain obedient and the Lord showed him favor through a DEAL which made all the DIFFERENCE in his life as the Lord continued to show Daniel honor.

What act of OBEDIENCE is God inviting you into this season? Will you accept the calling that has been placed on your life? Will you join us and go ALL IN?

In Ezekiel 40-42, the prophet is given a vision where he meets a man "whose face was like bronze" that gives him all of the dimensions of a temple that has never been built. In Ezekiel 43 God tells Ezekiel that he will again fill the temple with His presence and sit on the throne.

We have all experienced SCATTERED and desperate situations.

In Ezekiel 37, God calls the “Son of Man” to prophesy over a valley of dry bones. As the prophet obeys he sees the dead LIVE AGAIN, first they are a SKELETON, then they become covered with SKIN and finally they receive breath by God’s SPIRIT.

'I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live again and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the Lord has spoken!’”' - Ezekiel 37:14

Watch LIVE AGAIN, and pray for God to breathe life into the things we think are hopeless.

“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord : What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep?...” Ezekiel 34:1-2

Watch “Sheep Without a Shepherd” and hear what the Lord gave Pastor Todd to share with us out of Ezekiel 34.

What are you responsible for in this season. The Lord gave Ezekiel a message to prophesy against the leaders – the shepherds - of the people of Israel and Judah. They had in their selfishness caused the sheep to STARVE, be SCATTERED and STRAY away from God’s perfect plan.

But there is HOPE, what is the remedy?

As leaders we need to help our flock be SUSTAINED, Jesus told Peter to “feed his sheep” – John 21:15. Practicing a daily discipline of self-feeding in the Word and being an example to those we are called to lead. We should provide SAFETY, the community of believers comes together and supports one another. Finally, we should be STRENGTHENING and lifting up those that we see God’s calling on to lead with us.

We all start this journey with a LOVE relationship, but how quickly we begin to LUST after other things which leads us to LINGER and experience great LOSS and chaos in our hearts and lives.

“Learn The Lesson,” Pastor Todd received from the Lord and be assured we serve a God of grace and restoration. If you have breath in your lungs- you have hope!

“But I came by and saw you there, helplessly kicking about in your own blood. As you lay there, I said, ‘Live!’” (Ezekiel 16:6)

When we find ourselves broken and alone the Lord, in all His Grace, says “LIVE!” But in a world that is overly stimulated and under disciplined we allow our blessings to become Idols leading us back down a path to forgetfulness which quickly leads to faithlessness.

Youth Pastor Michael “OC” O’Connell brought a message Sunday that not only checked our priorities but asked the hard question, “Do you remember the reason you needed Jesus to begin with?”

We must REMEMBER being rescued, REPENT of our rebellion and RECEIVE His grace. Only then can we avoid the endless cycle: Distraction - Disconnection - Discontentment - Disobedience.

Watch, “Do You Remember,” and let us be a people who never forget where God brought us from.

The cross isn’t sweet until our sin becomes bitter.

Kappes Chatfield brought a message that he received from God out of the Book of Ezekiel titled “INTERFERENCE.”

'I, the Lord, will answer all those, both Israelites and foreigners, who reject me and set up idols in their hearts and so fall into sin, and who then come to a prophet asking for my advice. I will turn against such people and make a terrible example of them, eliminating them from among my people. Then you will know that I am the Lord.' - Ezekiel 14:7-8

We were created to worship God and Him alone. There are times in our walk with the Lord that we do not hear from Him due to INTERFERENCE.

Interference is: Intentional - God is using it for a purpose an Indicator - pointing out that thing in our life that we have set in the place of God Instructional - teaching us an important lesson an Invitation to come back to a place of worshipping the One True God

“Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, warn people immediately. If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the PENALTY of DEATH,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths. If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me." (Ezekiel 3:17-19)

Ezekiel was commissioned to preach a word of warning to the captives about their sinful ways. He SAW the Glory & Grace of God, was SENT by His spirit, SELF-FED and was then called to SIT and hear their stories - before he could warn he had to weep.

Check out, “Watchman,” and accept Pastor Todd’s challenge of no more condemning - we are called to love people well.

"A lament or lamentation is a passionate expression of grief, often in music, poetry, or song form. The grief is most often born of regret or mourning."

We all have unmet expectations or have experienced things in our lives that we had hoped had turned out differently. This can be especially difficult when we thought that something was supposed to be from the Lord. God allows us to grieve, but does not want us to stay there. Our focus needs to shift from things hope from the Lord to hope in the Lord.

Watch “Dare to Hope Again” and explore how our pain and lament can lead to worship and glory to God.

'Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.' - Lamentations 3:21-22

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

We often are not exiled for Punishment but for a Purpose.

In Chapter 29 the Lord sends a message through Jeremiah to the exiles in Babylon on how to live their lives, which are still applicable today. We must have the Mentality to own our personal relationship with Him, remember the Mission associated with how we walk out our daily lives and carry the Message that we give away which will result in Multiplication.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalms 139:23-24

PRIDE is the problem - instead of receiving God’s challenge to turn back to him - we continue in our stubborn ways and become, “Dirty Undies,” but we do not have to settle in that place. Jesus willingly takes our dirty garments and in exchange gives us clean ones.

We have all found ourselves at the fork in the road, wondering which path to take... “Yahweh,” the narrow path or “Lucifer Lane,” and continue chasing comfort.

Watch, “Cross Roads,” and in those moments: STOP - push pause and pray. SCAN - consider where you are. SEEK - simply ask Him what he is inviting you in to. SUBMIT - to His Will and get on your knees.

How many of us have a call on our lives, but we make excuses why we can't fulfill it? What is your excuse?

Pastor Todd kicked off our study of Jeremiah with a message called, "Excuses."

The next time you find yourself thinking, "I can't...I'm too..." Remember that God says, "I CAN... I'm God!"

“No matter what struggle, trial, sin, season we face, they have all been DESIGNED for us to be REFINED to how we are DEFINED by God!”

GOD DEFINES US (Creator) -He is our Potter, we are His clay -So what is His definition of us….not yet….

But we don’t always remember that…. -Often we choose to define ourselves.

SO….

GOD REFINES US (Savior) -Trials, struggles, sin, seasons -Isaiah 64 -God allows this to draw us to Him and His definition

THE GOD WHO REFINES IS THE GOD WHO DEFINES

WHY? GOD DESIGNS IT (THROUGH HIS LOVE) (King) -No matter what the enemy may bring, God redeems it

What is God’s definition of us? -BELOVED

“No matter what struggle, trial, sin, season we face, they have all been DESIGNED for us to be REFINED to how we are DEFINED by God!”
