I met Pete Reed and Derek Coleman in Mosul, Iraq in 2015. These two American heroes decided on their own to fly to Iraq and help in the fight against ISIS. They saved many lives. Last week, Pete Reed was killed doing the same in Ukraine by a Russian tank shell. Derek died just over a week later of an aggressive form of cancer. He was only 33 years old.
