Phil and Jon talk about the next step in Missional Rhythms with the importance of listening. We explore how important it is to be heard and how maybe not speaking at times can build bridges to share the gospel later.
Once God develops a heart of love for someone, then the next step is to start praying to God about them. Jon and Phil talk about the concept of praying in a missional way as the third missional rhythm. We see why it is important to plead with the creator of the universe to save the souls of the people you have started to love and the importance of following where God leads.
Love is an important aspect of every Christian's life, but is incredibly important as the second missional rhythm. Jon and Phil talk through some of the key verses and commands in scripture about how we are called to love, and who we are called to love.
Every action begins with a thought, therefore if we are going to live on mission every day, then we must begin thinking missionally. Jon and Phil talk through practical ways that we can start missional thinking in our lives as our first missional rhythm.
So how does someone live missionally? Well, how does someone do anything? By intentionally working rhythms into their lives. For the next several weeks, Jon and Phil will be talking through how, why and what kind of missional rhythms we should be putting into our lives.
