In today’s episode it’s the season one finale! I’m going to take a break from the podcast with the intention of coming back with a series of interviews featuring guests within the wellness world. It’s going to be very exciting and I know you’ll love the conversations we’ll be having. Keep your eyes peeled!
The subject of today’s solo episode though is something that’s been on my mind recently, a kind of inner debate that I’ve been thinking about - probably a bit too much based on the fact that this topic is about slowing down the thoughts but anywayyy.
While in an ideal world we would all be able to quiet our minds completely and stop the noise of the ego, it’s not realistic for most of us to make such a jump. This is where I’ve found the process of intentional thinking extremely beneficial. Questioning all my thoughts, beliefs and writing them down for me to see plain as day, before turning them round into more empowering thoughts. I recently took the lovely Leticia Ringe’s Mindset Makeover course which was EXTREMELY helpful in helping me to learn more about how to use my mind in the most effective way. I’m sure she’ll be releasing it soon as an evergreen course here.
In this episode you’ll learn:
How changing your thoughts about a situation can transform your life and how you feel
The way your mind works on autopilot
-Why living from the future is the fastest way to manifest what you desire
-My take on being present while still having goals and ambition

We’ve all been there. Getting triggered or annoyed by something small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Often we can look at these moments and realise how ‘silly’ we are being and move on quickly. But what about all the stories and beliefs you’ve had since childhood about the way the world works? When you realise that you are not your thoughts and don’t have to believe what you are thinking, you’ve got the key to everything.
There is no ‘outside’ after all, there’s only ever our mental projection of what we perceive happening outside of us. It’s all relative and while it’s a hard concept to get our minds around, I try to break it down as best I can in this episode with real life examples. So enjoy my friends and I hope it gives you some peace and clarity today!
In this episode you’ll learn:
That it’s the stories about your life that cause you the most pain, not your actual life
Confidence is a state of mind
-Your perception about life is everything so choose wisely!
-How to rewrite a new story for yourself

Many people teach that you have to work hard at self-love and control your thoughts all the time to be a more positive person. I used to feel the same way until I learnt the power of accepting what is and becoming ok with life itself. When you let your thoughts control you, you suffer. However when you take the time to sit in awareness and be present with the stream of thoughts that pass in and out of your consciousness, in this state you can pick and choose the thoughts you want to think. What do you want to believe about yourself? What are the stories you are telling about the way reality is for you? I’ve created my new coaching programme, The Millennial Self-Love Club with the intention of guiding a small group of women through the practices that have truly changed my outlook on life, myself and the way I operate in the world. Not only will you learn to truly love and accept your core being, you’ll also come to understand other people in ways that you never could before. So let’s dive into the show!
In this episode you’ll learn:- All about my new coaching programme, The Millennial Self-Love Club and why I created it.
That self-love isn’t really about learning anything, it’s about unlearning the stories we’ve been told about ourselves
The four modules TMSLC will focus on and how they’ll add value to your life
Where I am right now on my self-love journey
-How our thoughts about ourselves are the only problem there ever is

I like to think that I’m generally very self-aware however I’d not been able to make the proper distinction between misalignment (maybe it’s just not right for me if it’s not coming easily?!) and fear until recently. Our minds can be very sneaky and make us think that we’re going in the wrong direction as soon as things get slightly uncomfortable. Are you afraid to be seen? Of what people might think of you? I discuss my tips on how to overcome fear in this episode, as well as differentiating between intuition and fear so you can tell which one is running the show!
In this episode you’ll learn:
How to tell the difference between your intuitive knowing and fear
That fear can crop up in many forms
That the mind has sneaky tricks to get us to listen to it
Detaching yourself from the outcome can propel you forward
-How to stop feeling ‘stuck’ in your life

Confidence is a state of mind. You can make the choice to be a confident person in each moment. Don’t be limited by your past stories or how other people have judged you previously.
There are some easy ways you can start to become a more confident and self-assured person right now. It’s not about being arrogant but instead feeling so innately worthy in yourself that the love you have inside of you pours outward and you give to the world around you. Remember that only hurting people hurt people. Take the time to invest in your personal growth and it will benefit everyone around you!
There are oh so many tools out there now to assist you on your personal development journey. Whether it’s meditation techniques, journalling prompts or affirmations, it would appear that there’s always more we can be doing. However, if it’s starting to feel like a spiritual to-do list and you’re feeling stressed by it all then you aren’t alone.
Not being afraid to learn and grow as an individual is an amazing quality to have. Often change can be uncomfortable in its initial unfamiliarity but usually it’s so worth it in the end. Adopting any new healthy habit can take time and it’s not something that we’re ever taught how to do in school so in this episode I discuss what to consider before making any changes in your life.
All of us have a unique relationship with food. Some of us eat when we’re stressed and others restrict. There’s no right or wrong way to eat, as long as you are feeling good. The issue comes when you start to get out of balance and are ignoring your body when it tells you it’s had too much or it needs a bit of variety. Do you take the time to tune in and listen?
In this podcast episode I discuss my history with emotional eating patterns, how it’s shown up recently for me and the steps I take to get back into balance.I also discuss self-compassion, mindfulness and being healthy for you and no one else.
Remember that no matter what level of eating problem you currently have, you can make a change any moment you choose to. Emotional eating happens to us all, no matter what size you are or how much you visit the gym. Apply the tips I share in this episode to your own life and I promise you’ll find more relief around food straight away.
In this episode you’ll learn:
-How I knew I was emotionally eating
-Why I think women are conditioned to be obsessed with body image
-The biggest waste of your energy
-What conscious eating looks and feels like
-How to be more mindful when you eat
-Why restriction can actually be a good thing

Throughout life there will be periods when it feels like everything is changing at once and times when things seem quiet or even too good to be true. Depending on where you are currently at, you might be coming from a place of lack and feel like you have to know the exact steps to get to where you want to be.
If you have a love-hate relationship with Instagram or social media in general then you aren’t alone. For many it can cause a lot of anxiety and lead to feelings of jealousy and comparison-itis. However it’s not going anywhere any time soon and let’s face it, if you’re building a brand or keen to have your own business, social media is pretty darn useful. So it’s been my mission to develop a more mindful relationship with social media and make it work for me rather than against me.
In this episode I share my tips on how you can make your Instagram feed a more positive place to be, find a community of like-minded people and use your time on it intentionally.
We are always growing and learning as individuals and in this introductory episode to the podcast, I share a bit about my personal journey, what has brought me to my current career circumstances, how I’ve dealt with lack of confidence, weight loss and when my interest in self-development began.
In this episode I’m also sharing three realisations about how life works that will have a huge impact on the way you live if you implement them. I explain why self-worth is the key to manifesting all your desires and suggest how you can become more present in everyday life.
If you’re telling yourself that you have no willpower or you have a slow metabolism then the evidence of those things will show up in your life. Your thoughts create emotions and emotions lead to behaviours, such as emotional eating. So the cycle never ends and you wonder why you aren’t getting anywhere. It’s time for you to take back the control you were born with!
