Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast! This week I have guest Cheryl Fisher, a certified life coach and host of the OMG Teach Me podcast. The conversation revolves around Cheryl's journey from being a teacher to discovering the power of mindset work through a direct selling business. Cheryl shares how understanding and applying mindset principles transformed her life, leading her to start a podcast to share these lessons with others. She discusses the importance of self-kindness, avoiding self-sabotage, and being the 'leading lady' in one's own life. Cheryl also talks about her upcoming two-day virtual masterclass on 'How to Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy,' where she aims to help participants overcome self-defeating thought patterns and embrace a more positive mindset.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast! Hello from the quiet woods of Richmond, Virginia! We are really enjoying our time here, and there is so much beauty and wonder that can be found when one is open to being surprised. Last night Robbie and I took Rosa on a walk and witnessed a magical display of synchronized fireflies.

I am planning to walk the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain in May, however it just occurred to me that I don’t have to wait until the actual pilgrimage to embody the mindset and principles of a pilgrim. I’ve decided to start living like a pilgrim now, embracing the journey, rituals, and transformative experiences that the Camino represents. I encourage you to apply this idea to your own life, embodying the identities, beliefs, and lifestyles you aspire to, rather than waiting for a specific goal or experience.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast! It has been an adjustment period full of life changes. Moving from Mexico to a remote area in Virginia has been a lot. I want to explore the idea that the desire for control often stems from a lack of self-trust and the belief that you can’t handle uncertainty or unexpected situations. To help this, we must cultivate self-trust by gradually exposing ourselves to challenging situations and realizing that we can cope with the outcomes.

As always, this is a great place to practice self-compassion and acknowledge our emotions, particularly when facing disappointments or pivoting from plans. In that spirit, I will soon be launching 'Brave and Unreasonable Life,' which aims to help individuals pursue ambitious goals while embracing setbacks and rejections as temporary delays rather than denials.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast. This week I am so excited to be joined by friend and colleague Tanisha Naughton. Tanish empowers busy working women struggling with burnout to overcome feelings of shame and guilt through my self-love retreats and play. Through her guidance, they find joy, release stress, and rediscover their authentic selves, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

In our conversation Tanisha shares her personal journey of helping her mother overcome diabetes through a vegan and alkaline diet, which inspired her to pursue holistic health coaching. She discusses her experience with burnout while working in the corporate and social work fields, and how she now helps busy working women overcome burnout and rediscover self-love through retreats focused on play, rest, and holistic practices. Tanisha emphasizes the importance of incorporating play and joy into daily life as an antidote to burnout. Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast. We are getting ready to leave San Miguel de Allende, and I’ve spent time reflecting on the incredible experiences and lessons learned while living here. It’s bittersweet to be leaving this vibrant city and I’ve found such appreciation for the local culture and celebration it has.

On another note, I want to disucss a perspective of luck, coincidence, and the natural ebb and flow of life. Long story short, I encourage you to trust the divine timing of things and not take setbacks personally. I am working on rebranding the podcast and will be taking some time to reimagine it.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast. This week is full of duality for me, after a successful speaking event last week, I felt so confident and proud on stage. However I’m struggling with grief after losing Soso 12 weeks ago.

Grief is not linear, and it’s important to trust your body, as well as the healing processes. In this episode I share a heartfelt journal entry about feeling broken but finding strength and depth in love and loss.

In light of this, I have plans to rebrand the podcast, focusing on themes of bravery, courage, and doing things despite fear. The lessons that grief can teach us are right there.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast. It’s our last 3 weeks in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico! I will be giving a speech and creating a speaker reel in the remaining time we have here in San Miguel. It’s taken a ton of bravery to keep pushing this forward, but I have learned some lessons throughout the process of preparing for these events.

First, the importance of self-trust, and pushing oneself outside of one's comfort zone. Confronting fears and doubts, recognizing irrational thoughts, offering self-compassion, and understanding that bravery is momentary. Creating opportunities for yourself, don’t wait for them, embrace imperfection and keep an open channel for your unique expression.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast. Hello again from the very warm San Miguel, Mexico. I have had multiple bouts of food poisoning while here, but I’m really excited about a couple of upcoming speaking events in local theaters. I’ve struggled with public speaking in the past, but I’ve learned to cope with it over the years.

Today I want to talk adopting a new outlook on life, I was inspired by a client's experience of awe and gratitude during an eclipse. The idea of recognizing that we already has everything we want and need, and I encourage you to challenge the notion that constantly wanting more is necessary or beneficial.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast, and hello again from San Miguel, Mexico! This week I would love to talk about being kind when setting boundaries or making disruptive change, kind to both yourself and others.

When Robbie and I decided to elope we had a lot of pushback from family members. The biggest lesson we took for it was to communicate honestly but with kindness. It’s important to accept people for who they are, and prioritize one's own well-being without resentment. I encourage you to reflect on why they want others to change and to take responsibility for your disappointment when they aren’t able to, or unwilling.

Hello Worthy Warriors, and welcome back to the podcast! Before we jump into this weeks topic, we are looking for a home for out foster dog Rosa. She’s the sweetest girl, who loves other dogs, and people so much. She would make a wonderful companion. SO if you know of someone who might be interested in adopting Rosa, please send them my information. I can’t wait to see her go to a kind and loving home.

This week, let’s chat about the concept of consistency. I have a story, and acknowledge that I struggle with being consistent, particularly on social media. The story says that because of social media inconsistency I can’t get to the next level of success. I see those I follow and look up share their lives, and view them as being consistent. However, I realize they are consistent in the perfection, not in be open and vulnerable about their life.

I encourage you to question your own perceptions of consistency and to align it with your values and desired life. I value the vulnerability, authenticity, and not resisting life's flow over the consistency. If you could use a community to discuss topics like this, or vent to, I encourage you to join Doing it Scared, a low-cost membership program and find your supportive community.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Welcome back to the Worthiness Mindset Podcast! This week I would love to share with you all that I am feeling stuck. We have 2 months left in Mexico, and have been trying to decide what to do next after living in Mexico for 4 months. This feeling is being fed by decision fatigue, grief, expectations not matching reality, fear, doubt and of course, the noise in my head.

If you’re feeling the same way please remember self-compassion and allowing yourself to acknowledge the thoughts without making yourself wrong is crucial in these phases of life. Some techniques I teach and use for myself to start moving forward include following your sparks of joy, taking small actions aligned with what excites you, and trusting the process. In honor of taking small action I have finally created a speaking tour, something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. I encourage you to to reach out and let me know if you would like me to speak in your city or if you know of event planners to connect me with.

Wish me luck in this new adventure, and I would love to know how you’re following your sparks of joy. Send me an email, and keep me updated!

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday, and welcome back from San Miguel, Mexico! Our time here is coming to quick close, and we have been thinking about what comes next. Our options are endless, and yet we have to be wary of overwhelm. Remember, the grass isn’t greener, there are just different weeds.

Last week I was teaching a workshop for International Women’s Day, and I wanted to highlight famous role models. I realized that they all felt self-doubt, yet focused on of trying and failing instead of perfection. In turn they leaned into fear and rejection and inspired others (like you and I) by showing up authentically.

Maya Angelou, one of the most decorated and prolific writers of our time, had immense doubt in her craft, and yet we admire people more for their courage through failures than their outcomes.

Fear and rejection mean we are being courageous.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Welcome back to our regularly scheduled programming at the Worthiness Mindset Podcast! I am back from a short hiatus, and am so happy to be recording again. I took a break to focus on grieving and self-care, because I’ve struggled with the loss of Soso, the euthanization of shelter dogs, and my foster dog's cancer diagnosis, rental issues, illness, and food poisoning.

Despite feeling scared I’ve decided to meet myself with exceptional grace, compassion and kindness during the challenges. This allowed me to build deeper connections with friends and family. I’ve realized that I can feel not okay and still be brave by authentically showing up. Brave means choosing how to meet oneself and reveal hidden struggles, not specific outcomes.

I hope this message helps you feel more comfortable sharing your hidden struggles that can lead to deeper relationships and greater impact.

Hello Worthy Warriors, happy Thursday. We’re going to change gears for a bit here, and share a series replay from 2021 about Failure & Self love. This series creates space to talk about and normalize failure, and finding self-love through it all. Failure is the greatest catalyst to learning how to love ourselves and to not define our worth through our achievements and accomplishments.

Hello Worthy Warriors, happy Thursday. It has been a difficult week here. For those of you who don’t follow me elsewhere, my soulmate Soso passed away last week. As devastating as it is, I realize that the grief is only a testament to how much I loved her, and is a part of fully experiencing life. When we’re able to see our own bravery and unreasonable joy demonstrated it’s only a lighthouse for bringing our awareness back to that space when it’s needed. Soso's incredibly adventurous life over 9 years spanning 4 countries and 35 states, despite the trauma she’d experienced, just shows her persistence, flexibility, and lack of fear. Soso was an inspiration to everyone who met her and spent time with her.

I want to call on my listeners to reflect on their bravery, be unreasonable in pursuing passions without fear or limits, and donate to an animal shelter in Soso's memory. I am looking to raise $300 to save a dog's life. I volunteer at a high-kill shelter here in Mexico with Yo Amo Animalitos (on FB) and it costs about $300 to save a dog's life. The dog I am looking to save is name Frida. She is about 2.5 years old, and just had puppies. One died and one is being sent to Colorado to a sanctuary. For two weeks, she wouldn't come out of her cage, she was abused and frightened. She's been in there about 4 weeks (2 weeks longer than they normally allow them to live). She has come out of her shell, wants belly rubs, and to be next to you. She is sweet & kind and we are looking to foster her until we find her forever home. I'm using this workshop as a way to fundraise. Donate and sign up here.

If you donate, I will send you updates on Frida and the ways you can help the other dogs in the shelter.

Hello Worthy Warriors! This week we’ll continue on the series to create a Brave & Unreasonable Life. This episode builds on part one about dreaming without attachment by focusing on building self-concept and self-trust as crucial foundations before taking action. I will walk you through a 4-step system to build trust in yourself. The process includes examining past evidence of follow-through, making small daily commitments, seeing accomplishments created, and noticing what is already desired.

When we cultivate a hypothetical 'what if it were possible' self-concept to reinforce that big dreams can happen, and remove our limiting beliefs. If this series is helpful for you, I will be holding a workshop on creating a brave life at a low cost. If you’re interested, fill out the form here. My friend Autumn is trying to sell 1000 books this month, and, as a guest of the podcast, I think you would love it. Buy Autumn’s book here!

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday! I’m passionate about speaking to others about how to live a brave and unreasonable life, and so I thought we would start a little series. This is my way of life. And part of that is by doing it scared, right? If you wanna live a brave and unreasonable life, you have to start by doing it scared.

The key to living this kind of life is taking steps to feel safe in your body. This alone will allow you to dream without limits or logic. By visualizing your desired outcomes, calming your nervous system, identifying the feelings behind your dreams, and being willing to pivot if needed you’re setting the stage for a healed and unimaginable future. Join me for a 28-day self-love challenge in February. Hosted in Doing it Scared, my online membership community, you’ll be in a supportive and encouraging environment to build a foundation for your unreasonable life.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday! We are spoiled with guests lately, and my friend Autumn Freed is no exception. Autumn recently started her own business as a book writing coach, but she’s more like a life coach and writing coach all rolled into 1. Autumn loves helping people figure out how to write their story or tell a story, but more than anything, to help people feel fulfilled in their lives. She knows all too well how it feels to not even know what you like anymore. Her favorite part is helping women decide what they want, and then watching them make it happen.

In this week’s conversation, we’ll discuss common reasons people don't write books, strategies to push past blocks, the importance of focusing on reader value versus original ideas, and how Autumn overcame her resistance by borrowing others' belief in her abilities. Autumn outlines her coaching services and emphasizes that everyone has a unique story worth sharing that could help others.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday! We have a very special guest on the podcast, my friend Maggie Leon-Guerrero is here! For 34 years, Maggie has been bringing joy to the world around her. It wasn’t until three years ago though, that knowing she was made for more, she started to strip away all the people-pleasing layers by showing up with intention in her life.

That intention led her to become a life coach and online course creator - her first course, The ME-ple Pleasing Pattern, launches this month. Through her 1:1 coaching and online course, Maggie helps you choose yourself over people-pleasing so that you can unlock a level of joy that you've never tapped into before.

It's through that very joy that she founded The Joy Table, a dinner party experience, in Cincinnati, OH, designed to connect women to and through their joy. She had a dream of a space where women connect through friendship, joy, and their dreams, instead of pain, gossip, and judgment. And then... she brought it to life and you're invited to it all.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday from Jillie, and Rosa, the best foster dog in the world! If you’re interested in being her forever home, contact me! :)

With spending time at the shelter, I’ve had to dedicate space to journalling, and feeling through my emotions with somatic exercise. Through that, I’ve thought a lot about my comfort in the 'lead from the front' style. I have previously grown the most out of leadership when all eyes are on me, however, I recognize that my current phase is asking me to develop more supportive 'lead from behind' roles.

In this episode, we’ll look at all three compassionate leadership styles and reflect on why I think leaders should cultivate the ability to fill all these roles.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday & Happy New Year!! In this first episode of 2024, I want to focus on embracing self-worth and releasing unhealthy attachments to goals and control.

2023 was an unpredictable year and I encourage you to seek self-trust instead of annual planning. In our society, it’s difficult to release goal-based self-judgment, but there’s something powerful about leaving it behind, at least for this year. I’ve found that the resolutions and planning that go along with this time of year often bring me to question our desire for control. The thing is, I believe in opening ourselves up to life's uncertainty and magic and committing to feel it all.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday! This week we have a replay of the most listened-to episode of 2023, and it’s special! My good friend Autumn is joining us, and Autumn Lynne is a book writing coach and author. She helps women who’ve realized that something isn’t working anymore but don’t know where to start making a change.

Back in 2014, her proverbial carton of eggs had dropped and splattered all over the floor. Autumn didn’t know who she was, didn’t know what she wanted, and didn’t have a clue what to do next. Listen for a dose of inspiration for 2024.

She applied what became the Fresh Start Formula to herself. One decision at a time, Autumn became a woman who prioritizes herself, who makes time for the things she enjoys, and who knows what she wants her life to look like.

In Autumn's book, “How Do You Like Your Eggs?” she takes you through her Formula and helps you create your very own Fresh Start, one decision at a time. You can find more about Autumn here on her website, and purchase her book here.

I want to kick 2024 off with courage, and great momentum, so I’m offering a Doing It Scared 30-Day Challenge AND starting round 2 of Brave & Unreasonable Life! This is the best gift you can give yourself.

Hello Worthy Warriors! Happy Thursday!

In today’s episode, we’re diving deep into a topic that's close to my heart: the crucial role of setting boundaries for our well-being, relationships, and work. I'm excited to share my personal experiences and insights on the journey.

You'll hear about my experience setting boundaries with sleep, navigating social drinking, and how I manage social engagements to protect my energy.

A good shift happened when I started exploring the difference between rigid and flexible boundaries. I’ve found that rigid boundaries often stem from feeling unsafe, and by cultivating trust there can be more flexibility. I encourage you to reflect on your own boundary-setting journey and the steps you can take to strengthen it.

Happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! I am officially in Mexico! I’m recording from the casita today, and let me tell you, there’s a lot more noise here than we are used to. There is a lot of getting used to something new, but it’s good! In today’s episode, we discuss dealing with change and making the most of the holidays.

Growing up I had idyllic childhood holidays and close-knit family traditions. When I was 21 my parents divorced and that’s when my holidays became volatile and sad. For years I grieved and felt the emotions around the holidays.

When I was living in Peru, without my family, I realized the freedom of creating my traditions. I encourage you to feel your emotions, but at some point begin moving forward into curiosity about new possibilities. Traditions can evolve and change is meant to happen. What rules and traditions truly fit who you are now?

I’m offering a free Masterclass on December 13th, called From Stuck to Start. Are you STUCK and paralyzed from taking action? Register here!

Happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! I am officially in Mexico by the time you hear this!!

I hope that you had a lovely long holiday weekend, and if it wasn’t, just remember we aren’t here to perfect. Instead, focus on progress, and how we can move forward. It’s important to identify your courage comfort zone vs courage discomfort zone - areas where you avoid growth and challenge yourself but remember, discomfort is part of the process of change. You need to create a support system to hold space for you, not fix you. Shift your inner dialog from catastrophic what-ifs to what if it DOES work out.

Courage happens in a split second when you decide to do something different. Focus on 10 one-second moments of courage daily instead of perfection. And know you're worthy of the effort to create change in your life.

Happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! Happy Thursday, and Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful that I get to be a part of your day, I’m sending you all of the Thanksgiving gratitude and gratefulness. Please take that in and receive it, because I could never do what I do without you!

This week we’re going to talk about strategies for having positive conversations with family members who hold different beliefs and opinions, particularly around the holiday season. It’s important to avoid shaming or trying to fact-prove, but instead, lead with curiosity and seek to understand the other person's perspective and experiences. I suggest going in with the intention of understanding, not changing other’s minds, watching their judgments, and recognizing the complexity of issues.

By setting a compassionate environment and asking if it's a good time to talk, having self-compassion, living in the 'gray' nuance of issues, and asking open questions to learn more like 'What has your experience been?' Please protect your own peace while bridging divides.

Happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors, from Dallas, TX! The van has been handed off, and she’s in Sedona right now. I did a lot of grieving before she left, so the moment of her leaving was much more neutral than expected. Here’s to the next chapter, the next adventure, and being present in the here & now.

I want to make sure you have the most pleasant and joyful holiday season, your way! Today, I wanted to talk about how to speak with someone who thinks differently than you do. I’ve said before that only 1 person in a relationship needs to change to create change in a relationship. Your peace is within your hands, and nobody can take that away. Remember, perfection is not necessary, only progress.

Two things that never work to change relationships; shaming someone or trying to prove the other wrong & fact sharing. People don’t make decisions or change their minds based on facts, decision-making is a much more emotional place.

By the time you’re listening to this, we would have handed over the keys to our van, and there are very few podcasts from the US before we spend time in Mexico for the winter. In this episode, I want to talk about how you feel in large transition, during the holidays, so much is happening in the world, and in our personal lives. It’s okay to not be okay.

I’m reading the book Bitter Sweet, which is about how sadness can make our lives feel more full. It’s showing me how important sitting in complex emotions is. We spent the whole weekend cleaning out the van and taking out all of our stuff. Happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! This week, I’m reflecting on the last 4 years living in the van and the lessons I’ve learned. Vanlife comes with freedom, unpredictability, and challenges, that is why we are taking a 6-month break to rejuvenate in Mexico. I’m looking forward to focusing more on hobbies, health, and community.

Van life has taught me that the grass isn't always greener, there are just different weeds. Nothing is certain and you have to let go of control and be adaptable. I’ve learned to not get too attached to plans, prepare rather than overly plan, and make emotionally sober decisions. I challenge you to apply these lessons in small ways to your own life to shift trajectory.

Happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! This week, I'm bringing back a cherished episode from our archives. Today, I'm sharing the profound message of following what feels good. Don't mistake it for fleeting pleasure; this is about the deep-rooted joy that bubbles up when I truly connect with my heart and soul. It's that intuitive pull and passion that has shown me the way to a life filled with purpose and alignment.

We dive deep into what it really means to follow that inner "feel good". I'll share insights on how to recognize these heart and soul signals, and how they've been my guiding stars. Acting on these feelings has been instrumental in ensuring that I live a life that truly resonates with my essence. It's essential to remember that our value isn't swayed by the outside world. This episode is my way of reminding myself, and all of you, to listen to that inner voice and the profound joy it brings forth. If this message touches your heart, or if you think of someone who needs to hear this, please share this episode. Let's spread this message far and wide.

I encourage you to take the time to trust yourself, and in turn, face your fears. I personally would like to invite you into Doing it Scared. If you have someone in your life who this podcast would resonate with, please send it to them. Let’s make this message a movement.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This week I have a very popular replay of a past episode. I reflect on growth moments over the past 10 years from when I first started public speaking with fear and anxiety. Circumstances don't change how we feel, our mindset does.

Worthiness is inherent, but seeing your worthiness is a choice. When we step outside our comfort zone, we are faced with that choice. Though fear and doubt may arise, we can choose to see our worthiness by controlling our inner narrative. No matter the outcome, if we know we are worthy, we can find peace and act from a place of desire rather than lack. Acknowledge the progress you've made and let it be enough, so you can move forward fueled by your heart's calling rather than feelings of not being enough.

Our worthiness remains unchanged regardless of circumstances or other's opinions. and I hope this message resonates, if you see fit please share this with others who need this reminder of their innate worth.

I encourage you to take the time to trust yourself, and in turn, face your fears. I personally would like to invite you into Doing it Scared. If you have someone in your life who this podcast would resonate with, please send it to them. Let’s make this message a movement.

I’m turning 35, and I wanted to share the lessons I’ve learned this year, including becoming more comfortable with failure and change, embracing slowness instead of busyness, trusting my intuition, and seeing myself as a powerful woman and leader.

We also discuss the importance of allowing space for contrasting emotions like grief and joy to coexist, and not rushing to 'fix' difficult feelings. I also read my birthday letter to myself wishing for peace, adventure, success, impact, and healing in the coming year. I encourage you to write yourselves a love letter.

I am offering 10 coaching sessions for $35 to celebrate my birthday, please follow this link to get yours.

I encourage you to take the time to trust yourself, and in turn, face your fears. I personally would like to invite you into Doing it Scared. If you have someone in your life who this podcast would resonate with, please send it to them. Let’s make this message a movement.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! In this week’s podcast, we’re going to chat about embracing self-worth and releasing judgment of yourself and others.

You are not a failure if you need a side job while building a business, comparing yourself to others leads to judgment, relationships can be healing if you focus on your own growth, and judgment of others reflects how you judge yourself. Pause and reflect on why you judge and how to accept that part of yourself. Ask yourself what judgments say about you so you can accept all parts of yourself. Instead, give yourself permission to take your own path at your own pace in business and life, relationships can catalyze healing if you focus on your own growth, the judgment of others is a judgment of self - reflect on the meaning behind judgments so you can accept yours

I encourage you to take the time to trust yourself, and in turn, face your fears. I personally would like to invite you into Doing it Scared. Our monthly call is tomorrow, so you’ve got time! If you have someone in your life who this podcast would resonate with, please send it to them. Let’s make this message a movement.

Hey Worthiness Warriors, Happy Thursday from Peoria, Illinois! We’re going to be here for a while visiting my mom, and enjoying her beautiful garden. In today’s episode, I discuss embracing van life, taking meaningful risks, and turning ideas into action.

There’s a difference between just talking about big goals versus having the courage to take action on them. Even though chasing dreams can be scary and uncomfortable when you're confronted by self-doubt, it's part of the growth process. You have to be willing to fail, make mistakes, and face discomfort in order to gain the confidence and self-trust that comes from taking risks. I challenge those of you who have been all talk and no action to finally call yourself out, stop seeking admiration, and start bettering yourself by showing up bravely. Taking the leap on that business idea or goal you've avoided is how you'll learn how resilient and capable you truly are.

Hello Worthiness Warriors, welcome back for another episode of the Worthiness Mindset Podcast! I’m taking a week off from the podcast this week, so I thought we’d do a replay of one of my most downloaded episodes.

Many around me are off of social media or spending less time there than ever. With this I tell you, that your power isn’t conditional, your worth isn’t conditional, and your joy is not dependent. I used to think that my power, skill, and value was dependent on how I felt! That's SO untrue.

Hello Worthiness Warriors, welcome back for another episode of the Worthiness Mindset Podcast! I’m still in Colorado, and it’s such a wonderful place. We love it here. I’m getting ready to leave the van behind for our move to Mexico. I keep getting questions asking about how it will feel to leave the van behind, and it’s reminded me that I don’t fit a mold, and can’t be put in a box. I am not only the Jillie who lives in her van.

We all have different needs and desires. Growing up as a Disney kid, we only saw love a certain way, a man would swoop in a save a woman, and he completed her. I’m seeing these funnels in all parts of society. Regardless of where you exist or what you are into, the white supremacist patriarchy, capitalism, and diet culture all feed off of each other. The funnels are the shoulds of the universe. Your body should look this way, your marriage should be like this, and there is 1 goal you should always be going after. If you’re growing a business to 6 or 7 figures, if you’re not working on yourself you’re dying.

College, travel, get a job, start a business, be healthy, grow, and work yourself to death. Are you inside all of these funnels? Instead, challenge the funnel, there are a million ways to the mountaintop. Sign up for a life of humanness, joy, and coloring outside the lines with Brave & Unreasonable Life, a payment plan is available.

Welcome back Worthiness Warriors! Hello from Denver, we are tired after driving over 3,500 miles. We are going to be taking a break from the van for about 6 months this winter. We’ll be moving to the mountains of Mexico, and we cannot wait. I’ve been sitting with this concept from Whitney England, being loved and being admired.

When I say loved, I’m reminded of this idea of wholeness, depth, courage, authenticity, and being human. A lot of us are not taught unconditional love, which is a realization of what different circumstances shaped our idea of love. I have definitely confused being loved and admired. With admiration there is a pedestal, it’s guarded. When I heard this concept I realized that I had confused the two for most of my life, and I felt a lack of connection and relatability. It is hard to be loved and admired at the same time.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This is a very special 1-year anniversary episode, the most special of guests, my husband, Robbie Wood. I thought it would be fun to have a conversation about what we’ve learned, what makes our relationship unique, and to shed light on how to create a relationship as well as share some wedding day stories. For some reason when you get married, everyone negates the fact that you’ve been together for a while.

Robbie has taught me so much about loving unconditionally, and he shares what it took to be in a place to do so. We agree that it’s important to focus on the good because the trivial bad things will drive you crazy if you don’t. I’ve realized that it’s important to celebrate and make things a big deal in our relationship. It’s important to put in the effort and time to have a relationship that’s worth celebrating.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This week I am joined by my friend, joy spreader, and client Maggie Leon-Guerrero!

Maggie spent most of her life pleasing others without even knowing it. She didn't even really learn about it until she hired her first life coach. Week after week it always pointed back to the same thing - putting what other people wanted above what she wanted. After years of digging into these patterns, she now teaches other people how to untangle old beliefs and step into their greatness. Clients have described their experiences when working with Maggie as an awakening. They felt like they were asleep for years and are finally awake.

While people pleasing is a main focus of what Maggie helps clients with, she also serves as a general life and mindset coach. Her superpower is seeing the emotion and inner turmoil behind the words that are being said.

Today we’ll unpack how Maggie became aware of her own people-pleasing tendencies and then evolved into helping her to help others realize it in themselves as well. Find Maggie’s website here, and her Instagram here.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This episode is coming to you from Good Hope Lake, Canada. We are officially on our way back down from Alaska! It’s been an incredible summer.

I recently hired someone to help me with my TikTok, and I realized a really unhelpful narrative that I’ve perpetuated over the last few years. I’ve told myself that I’m the internet’s best-kept secret, and I realized that I don’t want to be a secret any longer. It’s no longer serving me, and I don’t want to feel like I’m hiding my light any longer.

What does that mean? This is all about feeling worthy as I am, in order to be seen. If we don’t feel enough because of our childhood, or something we’ve learned over the years, we can unlearn it. It’s been really scary to admit that I didn’t feel worthy of visibility, but that’s why I’m so passionate about helping others feel worthy as they are.

Hello and happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! Hello again from Homer, Alaska! We are doing a work trade with some new friends creating an event and art space. We’re just in love with Homer. Today I want to share something I’m going through, because as my friend Erin says, I like to heal publicly, hoping that it can make anyone else feel less alone in this world.

I’ve been sharing about our plans to live in Portugal, and we’ve been forced to pivot this trip. We found out some new information and basically, we can’t go when we planned to. Something that van life has taught me is our life changes so rapidly all the time. We often have to completely change our plans, or leave on a dime. So we reimagined it, and next week it might be totally different, but you can be along for the ride.

We’ve decided to embrace the messy middle.

Hello and happy Thursday, Worthiness Warriors! Hello again from Homer, Alaska! We have been experiencing nature at its finest. I want to talk about being unreasonable today. I want you to think about how unreasonable your life and dreams can be. I want you to be unreasonable in your joy, in what you create, and ask for and manifest, in doing it scared and showing up brave, and unreasonable in the kindness you offer yourself.

I look at my life and it’s not reasonable at all, but it’s mine. It’s not perfect but it leaves me in awe on a daily basis. I don’t want my life for you, I want the life you want for you. In Doing it Scare one of the biggest things we’re talking about isn’t doing, but pushing against productivity. How to let joy be enough is one of the biggest things I talk about with my 1-on-1 clients as well.

So naturally, allowing myself to not do anything has been something that’s been coming up. I’ve found when I don’t do, I don’t work as hard as I possibly can, and unproductivity allows those beliefs to come up, the unworthiness beliefs.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello again from Homer, Alaska! Last week I shared the first 3 moments that give life meaning. Here they are to refresh your memory…

  1. Moments of awe
  2. Moments of connection
  3. Moments of impact
  4. Moments of significance

Today I’d like to share the 4th, & it seemed worthy of a dedicated episode, moments of significance. These moments are typically not easy but are pivotal. Moments of significance can look like so many different things and often feel passing when you’re experiencing them, but in the long run, make you question everything. I’ll share with you my pivotal moments, and I’d love you to look at your own life through that lens.

When I was in 7th grade my friends were trying out for the volleyball team, and so I tried out for the volleyball team but I actually wanted to play soccer. So during the volleyball tryouts, I purposely hit the ball into the net and didn’t make the team. I had a dream of making the varsity soccer team as a freshman, and once I got to high school as a freshman I was the only one on my team to not make varsity. I decided then that I would be so good, that they had no choice but to bring me up 3 games into the season.

At the moment when you make the decision, you choose your perspective and decide how I was going to respond to adversity.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello again from Homer, Alaska! I want you all to be the first ones to know, that I have fallen in love. I’m in love with Homer. We just got back from this peninsula that you can only access by boat, and we had to take a water taxi to stay in a yurt on the peninsula. While we were there there were 3 beautiful days of sunshine, the first days of sunshine we’ve seen and will see in a while. It was so beautiful, and we had a whole beach to ourselves. I’m telling you this, because as we were sitting there on the beach I was moved by how nature takes you out of whatever is going on in your life, in your mind.

This all made me realize that there are 4 moments in life that give life meaning, and I’m going to go over those first three moments today. I think what society is missing is the emphasis on these moments. I wish you to build your life around these 4 things.

  1. Moments of awe
  2. Moments of connection
  3. Moments of impact

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello again from Alaska! We’re moving around and spending some time in Seward, and Homer. Today I want to talk about what to do when things don’t go your way. When you have a vision that doesn’t come to life. There have been so many things in my life that have not gone the way that I expected, in fact, nothing has gone the way I wanted it to. I don’t think anything really does. It’s not up to us. It’s divine.

Even when things don’t go as you picture, it doesn’t mean anything other than, at this moment things didn’t happen as you wanted. It could just be timing, or it could be your own growth or circumstances. Usually what happens is better than you ever dreamed, and the pivot flows. How are you going to continue to show up?

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello from Alaska! It’s sunny for the first time in a year, and I am living for it. I saw 4 orcas today, and it seems like everything is coming out to play in the sunshine! There is something so magical about Alaska, and really the reason why I decided to do retreats. I am now booking things for a summer 2024 Alaska retreat, I cannot wait.

Today I want to chat about brokenness, about needing to be fixed. It’s hitting me really deeply lately, and I’m finding myself judging myself. We rush to fix ourselves and make so many things about us a problem. For me it’s anxiety, but for you, it may be productivity or perfection. I continue to make myself wrong for having anxiety, beating it back with a stick. I’m making myself wrong for having something that has a reason for existing, anxiety will do me good in certain situations. There’s nothing to fix, and there is nothing wrong with us. Anxiety, depression, and anything you experience are neutral, not good or bad.

Hello and Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! We are in the middle of nowhere in Yukon, CA. It’s absolutely beautiful. We were here last year, so it’s really nice to come back on our way back to Alaska.

Today we’ll be chatting about creating your own experiences. How many times have you listened to people’s reactions or experiences and allowed them to affect your life or experience? We love going to coffee shops everywhere we go, and we usually will only go when they have a 4.5+ rating or more. There was one in Eugene, OR that was 4.5 that we almost didn’t go to. We went, and I had an Olive Oil Latte, and it was my favorite latte I’ve ever had.

People often say that relationships are hard. but from my experience that isn’t true. My relationship is not hard, nor do I feel the need to perpetuate that narrative. Instead of projecting that onto my relationship, I choose to have a relationship that takes work and effort but is not difficult.

Hello and Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! We are in British Columbia! We drove 20 hours over Memorial Day weekend and saw 8 bears in 24 hours. It’s absolutely beautiful! We are headed back to Alaska for the summer, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Exciting announcements around that to come!

Today our topic is quite important and also heavy. Generational healing. I had an epiphany moment with this recently, and I knew I had to share as I’m navigating. Coaching, therapy, somatic work, and anything challenging your past programming is generational healing. Most of the stories we tell ourselves come from past generations, the ‘I’m not _____ enough’ stories. We are not here to be perfect, you cannot regulate your nervous system all the time, and you can not be committed to healing all the time. You are not broken, and you don’t need to be fixed. You have everything you need, and you can trust yourself in your own healing process… and! When you become aware of programming that you want/need to change, I want to give you permission to do so. This is literally changing generations. This is one of the most powerful things about my job, is helping parents to not repeat the cycles of their parents.

Hello and Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This week we are joined with a very special guest, and new friend, Emma Scott Lavin. Emma describes herself as a hopeless utopian with shiny object syndrome, herself the shiny object a fair amount of the time. Emma is an artist, a writer, and a transgender woman. In this episode, you’ll find yourself absolutely stunned by her vulnerability and courage. I loved every moment of it.

I wanted Emma to be on the podcast because she really stands for inclusion and change in our society, but also because she’s listened to the little voice inside that told her to do something that society says she shouldn’t. She mentions that what inspires her to show up, is seeing others do the same. As a part of a grief ritual, Emma learned that not only are we supposed to cry in front of others but cry together. That true healing comes out of combined vulnerability.

You can find Emma, her art, and her writing here.

Hello and Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! We are so happy to be joined again by Helene-Jane (HJ) Groarke, a fellow worthy warrior! HJ is so full of joy, and I have such a blast with her on the podcast.

This week we’re diving into worthiness and enjoying your life without learning. It doesn’t need to be a difficult day to deserve self-care. Untying productivity from worth is such a goal of mine, and HJ speaks a lot about how our worth is tied to our bodies. Worth has nothing to do with body size or accomplishments. There is no value attached to either.

HJ helps her clients to unlearn the self-hatred, shame, and toxic gendered expectations created by our patriarchal society. She provides a feminist, anti-diet framework to guide you to get back in touch with yourself and what YOU want rather than what we’ve all been brought up to believe is the “right“ way of living.

Find HJ on her website helenejanegcoaching.com or her Instagram @helenejanegroarke_coaching.

Hello and Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Today I wanted to talk about being a multi-passionate and curious human being. In our society so often we are encouraged to follow rules and get caught up in perfection. You can only have one identity, and authority. I do believe that some of us have a thing, and focus, and some of us have many things we’re interested in and love.

When I was in college I was a student-athlete, and often times athletes are just athletes. That wasn’t me, I wanted to be involved and experience many things. From a young age, I realized that school and soccer weren’t going to be my long-term plan, and I didn’t want it to be my only identity. I’ve never wanted to be small, but the world wanted me to feel that way. I was often told that I needed to choose, to pick something, and to run with it. You do not need to devote your entire self to a single thing, what makes you most fulfilled, is not by focusing on that one thing. Instead, it’s by maintaining all of the spokes in your wheel.

You are not only a mother, an entrepreneur, a student, and a wife. You are everything you want to be.

Hello Worthiness Warriors! Happy Thursday! I want to start today’s episode by shouting out a couple of humans I’ve met in Eugene, Oregon. I’m so impressed with these humans, and so inspired.

Julie and Mark at The Community Cup, hope to bring people together and offer up their space at night for people to meet and do workshops. They support LGBTQIA+, Black Lives Matter, and many other communities by providing this space. They also keep their prices low on organic and local food they serve, because they believe that we all deserve healthy and affordable food.

Secondly, we are staying at this place called Dodeca Art Farm, which is a clean and sober art farm. We are doing a work trade to stay here, and it’s so such an amazing place. I feel so seen and held, and I’m just so impressed.

Today I want to talk about which wolf wins. The answer to this? The wolf that you feed. Are you going to focus on what’s going wrong, what you can’t do, what isn’t working, are you going to feed that wolf? Or are you going to focus on the evidence that you can, what’s working, and what’s right? Switch the narrative.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello from Bend, Oregon in a beautiful national forest. The sun is FINALLY shining, and I explain what that does for my soul.

Today I want to talk about the pivot because I think we all have the opportunity to pivot. When something doesn’t work out as we had hoped, we have the opportunity to see it as a failure, or we have the option to reimagine and pivot. I had a vision of what I wanted to create with my Oregon retreat, and unfortunately, that vision couldn’t become a reality. However that vision doesn’t need to be boxed in, it can expand, change and pivot. We don’t need to box ourselves into black-or-white thinking. Most things are not either or, there is room for other options, the grey is an option. This is only keeping you stuck, in victimhood, without a solution. It’s time to acknowledge when we are in black-or-white thinking.

That’s when we realize there are many options.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello from Eugene, OR. It has been rainy and cold, and an absolutely magical place. This past weekend I went to a festival alone. Robbie was out of town, and I had my first solo days in the van. It was so beautiful. It was the first time in a long time that I had alone time, and it reminded me how much I enjoy my own company. It was actually incredibly expansive and gave me the time to get out of my comfort zone.

Unless we give ourselves space and allow the fear to be present, we’ll never be able to move through it. You are not the girl or boy that you once were, and it’s time to give yourself that credit. You won’t have the experience you once did, because you are no longer that person. You cannot repeat the same thing. Give yourself credit, and give yourself the space to confront what you are afraid of. Show yourself who you are.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello from Bandon, Oregon. For the past year my whole mantra has been to trust the nudge. The nudge, it feels expansive and like joy for a split second before the fear comes in. Trusting the nudge and yourself doesn’t mean that it’s easy or logical, because often it doesn’t. But, what is on the other side of trust is beyond your wildest dreams.

I’d recently experienced a failure, and I wanted to hide. I told myself that if I experienced failure again I wouldn’t hide, I would share it. And then I experienced great success, and I wanted to hide. I had to think about what that meant. Instead of it being about the outcome, it was about the weight I put on myself and the situation to come out a certain way. The expectations we have of ourselves and what is supposed to happen adds pressure. It’s time to release it.

This episode is a replay from the week of the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX. The heaviness this week is the same. It feels like when you get stuck in the ocean getting hit by wave after wave, without being able to get up. I choose to show up, not just because it’s needed, but because it’s essential. It’s so easy to get lost in the darkness because there is so much of it.

We must instead, remember the light. Imagine it’s nighttime, and there’s a really thick cloud cover. Even on those nights, the stars are still shining, and the moon is still there. Even when we can’t see it. When everyone else succumbs to the darkness, be the light and remind them that there is still light.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors. This episode is really special to me because my good friend Autumn is joining us today. Autumn Lynne is a life coach and author.

You can find more information about Book to Business with Autumn and Lin Eleoff here.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! I come to you from San Francisco, it has been so rainy! We are safe, safe, and semi-dry. It’s been an exciting time because my podcast has grown a lot lately! I’m thrilled and so grateful that you’re sharing it with friends. I love that I get to be 100% me here.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes a person thrive, what is something that all of the people I admire do? They have a lot of value in their self-care, how they treat themselves, and how they speak to themselves. They have grace. In general, and also for themselves. Instead of taking score too soon, they give themselves space to fail, they give themselves grace. Lastly, they do it scared.

Join me for my 30 Day challenge, Do It Scared. I’m asking you to come up with something you are scared of doing. We’re going to accomplish something we are afraid of in the community, and you’ll want to be a part of it.

If you want to work with me 1-on-1 with me click here. Join me at the next retreat on the Oregan Coast in May!! Thank you, and have a beautiful rest of your day. I’ll see you next week.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Today is a very special day, and I’m so excited to have one of my best friends, Erika Veduccio. She’ll walk us through a journey to finding worth, and how she’s gone through that transformation. This a great reminder that worthiness is a never-ending journey. Join us from rainy SoCal.

3 years ago Erika had her 3 kids at home, and she was in the thick of it. Working full time, being a good wife, a good dog mom, and being a good mother to 1 in elementary school, 1 in middle school, and 1 in high school. She was putting herself last. Busy, tired, and sick. Erika’s health was not in a good place and had a hard time fitting in movement and a healthy diet. There was a turning point when Erika’s priorities shifted towards putting herself first.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Hello from Carlsbad, CA. It’s now been a week since my first retreat in Joshua Tree, and it was everything I could have hoped for. This is what I am meant to do, and this is my purpose. I felt so fully myself and had such a lovely time filling my cup.

I have a new standard in my life, the people, opportunities, and spaces who I welcome and self-select into my life, deposit more than they withdraw. That’s exactly the way the retreat felt. That experience exists, don’t give up hope.

Welcome back Worthiness Warriors, and happy Thursday! I just concluded my Joshua Tree retreat, and will be announcing my next location tomorrow! Join my email list here, if you want to be the first to know.

As I reflect on what I’ve shared recently, I want you to witness this idea of humanness. I am showing up perfectly imperfect, to show you what’s possible. Today I pulled a card with Robbie, and it was a bat, which represents death and rebirth. What I realized is the number of things I’ve had to let go of, and parts of me that were no longer serving me that needed to leave my life.

For the first time ever, I started the year in a market space, a space where I didn’t know what I was working towards next. I knew what I wanted to do, but I knew that I didn’t want it to look the way it had been looking. This requires so much authenticity and so much trust in myself. When the achievements and accomplishments are pulled away, lean in.

Welcome back Worthiness Warriors, and happy Thursday! Hello from Desert Hot Springs, outside of Joshua Tree! Today as you’re listening to this, I am on day 1 of my Joshua Tree retreat! I’m so excited, I cannot contain myself! I am announcing my next retreat soon, which will take place from May 18th through the 22nd. I expect it to sell out really quickly, so get in quickly.

February is historically one of my busiest months, and typically that’s because I’m talking a lot about self-love, self-worth, and self-acceptance. These things come up a lot alongside relationships because you can’t be in a truly loving and committed relationship without having a good sense of the things above. I’m curious, what does it mean to love yourself? In different seasons of life, we need a different kind of love from ourselves. What kind of love do you need now?

Welcome back Worthiness Warriors, and happy Thursday! It is officially 1 week until my retreat in Joshua Tree, and I’ve been thinking about how long I’ve wanted to host retreats. I keep asking myself why I waited so long! I’ve decided that some things just don’t work until you’re ready, you must enter the room before something can work. There’s a difference between trying to make it perfect, and it just not being the right time.

Today, we’re chatting about the ONE thing you need to be most consistent in to be successful. Grace. Grace for yourself. Is that what you thought I was going to say? Whether you run a business or a household, your roll requires grace. Not only can you give yourself grace, but you absolutely need to.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This week I am joined by Kate Bailey, the founder of TARRA, a coworking space created to change how women connect in all parts of our life.

Kate’s expertise as an entrepreneur and business owner was cultivated over 20 years of in-the-trenches experience. A former magazine editor and journalist, she left the industry in 2007 to launch a boutique communications and marketing agency, Annabel Media. As Annabel Media grew, Kate discovered that she couldn't find the right resources to truly take her business to the next level, so in 2015, she founded TARRA, TARRA.co, to transform the way women connect business, life, and community. Established in 2015, the platform rapidly expanded to include networking, business education, mentorship, and a growing brand of collaborative membership workspaces. TARRA's first flex office and workspace campus opened at 9+Co in Denver in 2022 and today, the TARRA network is expanding throughout the United States with a mission to create a more inclusive and diverse business community through access to vetted business resources, education, and a powerful network of professional women. Bailey is an active member of the Denver nonprofit community. She is a member of the Empowerment Council of the Women's Foundation of Colorado, held a board position for the Design Council of the Denver Art Museum from 2016-2019, sat on the Small Business Council for the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce, was an active board member of the Women's Entrepreneurship Council, and has been an active volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Children’s Health Foundation in Aspen. She is an in-demand speaker and panelist for local business groups on topics ranging from public relations and marketing to women-focused business and entrepreneurship. In 2017, Bailey was highlighted as a rising woman in business by Cherry Creek Lifestyle magazine, named one of the top 100 creatives in Denver by Westword magazine, and has been a featured speaker and panelist at Denver and Boulder Startup Weeks.

There is a whole bunch of people who have realized that goal-setting is no longer working for them. We’ve been taught that goal setting means that you’ll have success, it means you’re a hard worker. And that is completely untrue. Goals do not make you successful, you do.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Grab your pens and your journals, we’re going on a worthiness journey. Do you tie your worth to your income or productivity? When one of those is removed, is your self-worth taken away? Where are you placing your worth? You are worthy because you exist, your worth is not outside of yourself. It is not determined by anything that can be taken from you. Our bodies change, a person can be lost, and our job can go away, but what if we could feel worthy regardless of who or what is in your life? What if the highs and lows you experience can level.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Welcome back! This is the last podcast of 2022! Where did this year go? Today I wanted to offer some options to reflect on the year. I am not into new years resolutions, but living intentionally is one of my largest values. I also believe that you don’t need to wait for New Year to create new intentions.

What have you done/overcome/learned/changed/shifted/healed from in the past year? What are the patterns at play? What do you want to bring into 2023, what do you NOT want to bring into 2023? What is a word or phrase that you want to be your guiding light? Write as if it is December of 2023, and how you’d like to feel, what you’ve done, and who you’ve become.

Something beyond anything you’d ever thought possible is in your future. It’s this or better. Thank you for going on this ride with you this year, and thank you for letting me be a part of your life. This living takes a ton of courage. Cheers, to the year to come & cheers to you!

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Welcome back! I’m currently recording in Dallas, but when you’re watching we’ll be leaving Big Bend National Park, did you know there are mountains in Texas?

I was driving with a friend recently, and she told me that she no longer wants to live for the next vacation, the weekends, or the next adventure. Instead, she wants to live each and every day. Do you know someone who has created a life of joy and adventure daily? Hi, I’m Jillie, it’s me! The overwhelming majority of us are waiting, patiently, for the next thing that gets us outside of the grind.

In order to create something different, we need to learn what we are coping with and escaping from. I know when I’m scrolling, I’m running away from something. When you become aware of what you’re trying to avoid that’s when you can begin sitting in it and healing it.

Happy Thursday! It’s good to be back after the holiday break. Hello from Dallas, where we celebrated Thanksgiving. We’ll head out soon for our next adventure out west! I’m so happy to be here to share all of the lessons that I have been experiencing, it has not been easy. I am worth more than easy.

We have to get uncomfortable, and evolving is uncomfortable. It’s normal to get caught up in perfect healing, and it is completely imperfect. You all know how much I love nature, and I’m constantly being reminded that it is the perfect mirror for our lessons. It’s free guidance. I feel incredibly lucky to spend more time in nature than the average person, and there is a huge shift in energy when spending time in a city after enjoying the amount of nature we do.

This morning, in Dallas, I was looking around at the trees. They are pruned, tamed, and made smaller in order to fit into what is required by a house, HOA, or street. They are altered in order to make everyone around it feel most comfortable. This isn’t at all different from people and our taming.

Happy Thursday, and hello from Marshall, TX. Today’s topic is about being good enough, versus settling for good enough. I’m rereading Glennon Doyle’s Untamed, and she hits the nail on the head so frequently. How often do you settle for good enough? Our relationships, jobs, and bodies are good enough. Settling for good enough enables us to stay small, and go after the things we want. Settling is a giant red flag and a sign that we are not following our intuition. I’m not saying to never consider rational but to instead weigh it next to your intuition.

Being good enough is when you are no longer striving to prove yourself. When we don’t feel good enough, we accept things we wouldn’t out of worthiness. When you see yourself as good enough, it’s so empowering and it allows you to dream bigger. It allows your imagination to run wild.

”What is the most true and most beautiful life you can imagine for yourself?” - Glennon Doyle

Welcome Worthiness Warriors, and happy Thursday! I’ve been talking to a lot of people about this topic. I used to put so much emphasis on others’ approval. This reminds us that we need to fail, in order to grow. There is a piece to failure, in order to make different decisions. Without facing that, without that discomfort, we wouldn’t be the resilient humans that we are.

In my life, the things coming up over and over for me are joy and courage. Instead of waiting for someone else to hype you up, learn to be your own hype person. We can’t go from negative three to positive three without passing through zero. Being your own hype woman does not from bad self-talk, to backing yourself 100%. Give yourself permission and grace to get there.

Welcome Worthiness Warriors, and happy Thursday! Hello from Denver! I’m in town because I went to see Lizzo on Halloween. If you ever have the chance to see her, I highly recommend it! She’s truly a show-woman. I have never been to a concert where I felt so cared about, and so seen. She talked about voting, and rights, and she talked about what legacy we can lead. I want to talk about that today. Your legacy.

Whether you have Lizzo status or a small following of 300 people on Instagram, you’re influencing people in your life. Your ripple effect goes beyond the immediate people we have connections and relationships. I coach around everyday leadership, and when you begin to see yourself that way, you make such an impact. Instead of believing you aren’t enough, influential enough, believe that is a story that is keeping you small, helping you to stay safe.

Push outside your comfort zone. Expand.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! I am recording from Moab, UT. I’m so in love with Utah, and we did a hike at Arches yesterday, which was so cool.

I want to talk about intentional living, today. Yesterday Robbie and I were talking about what we’d learned in the first 2 months of marriage. I said that it takes intentional effort, treating everything as something special, and harnessing the razzle-dazzle. It’s intentional! This is something to think of not only in your relationship but in your life. In order to foster a life that sets your soul on fire, you need intention. Without creating the space for sparks, or living large you’ll self-sabotage.

Your peace lies when you can untie your worth from productivity. Release that, release the limiting beliefs you have about your dream life. What are you making being productive mean about you? What are you making not succeeding mean about you? We think this feeling will motivate you toward your goal, but in reality, it pulls you farther away.

If you want to work with me 1-on-1 with me click here, and if you are interested in a Joshua Tree Adventure in February 2023, that will be linked here!

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! I’m recording again from Utah this week, and I wanted to talk about a topic that is coming up in many conversations I’ve been having this week. I have a feeling you need to hear this. It takes tons of courage to make a change in your life; starting a business, ending a relationship, going after a dream, or just doing something you don’t normally do. We don’t tend to see when people are going through their mess, we usually see them in the after. It takes a ton of courage to be that vulnerable.

Robbie and I were in this place, Capitol Reef, UT, 4 years ago. We’d been together for 10 months, and it was when we’d decided to buy our van, I decided to quit my job and launch my business. It was where I decided to take my biggest risks. I told Robbie I needed some time, and I sat on a rock. I cried, and I journaled, and at that time I knew that taking those risks was exactly what I had to do. I knew that I couldn’t go back to living as if I didn’t know that, and I also felt every single piece of discomfort I could.

That’s the way risks are, you’re taking them while feeling the most terrified, but you can’t go back to living your life with your eyes closed.

If you’re interested in coming back to nature, and to yourself I am hosting a retreat in February in Joshua Tree! Join me here. I am also opening up 2 1-on-1 coaching spots, if this is more your speed, schedule a consult call here.

Hello, and happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! I’m sitting in a canyon in Provo, UT. The canyon is next to a brook, and there is a burn scar with a ton of burnt trees. But, there’s starting to be new growth, and there is a rainbow of autumn colors. Greens turning yellow, yellow to orange, and orange to a deep pinkish red. There are birds serenading me, and I’m in awe. Can you feel the peace?

You have the ability to stop and feel the peace where ever you are because it’s felt first inside. Our inside actually is the catalyst to how we interpret our external. This podcast is being recorded 1 day before my 34th birthday, and upon reflection, I hope that if anything, I help you to slow down so you can actually experience your life. Can you put time on your calendar sometime this week to reflect on who you’ve become, what you’ve overcome, what you’ve learned, and how you’ve changed? No matter what, you are a different person, but unless you slow down and allow time to reflect, you’ll never give yourself credit for who you’re becoming and what you’re creating.

If you’re interested in coming back to nature, and to yourself I am hosting a retreat in February in Joshua Tree! Join me here. I am also opening up 2 1-on-1 coaching spots, if this is more your speed, schedule a consult call here.

Wandile Mthiyane, founder of Antiracist Hotdog, explains his racial harassment encounter with an Airbnb host and the disappointing way Airbnb has handled this situation. He is joined by his friend, Jillie Johnston, as they both share what the process was and how Airbnb's policies are inherently racist and need to be changed. We are asking for anyone who has connections to any major news stations, newspapers, journalists, lawyers, or higher ups at Airbnb. We want Wandile to be fully reimbursed and compensated, yes, but more than that, we want to ensure policy change happens at Airbnb and other businesses like them to make it more inclusive, equitable, and safe for all guests. We want no one else to get hurt or suffer at the hands of these policies.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors, I’m recording this podcast from beautiful Colorado! This episode is one for us all because I have never met someone who doesn’t struggle with this, it’s been coming up all around me. It is so hard to untie your worth from productivity, because that’s not what society has told us, stomped into us, and encouraged in us. Pause and ponder all of the forces, all of the ‘isms’ that have reinforced this thinking in you.

Say it with me now, ‘I am valuable whether I am productive or not.’ This area is particularly difficult to give ourselves grace in, because no matter how healed you and how much work you’ve done, this will continue to come up. Give yourself the grace, and know that spending time in the space will be what eventually heals it. The place to look is not in the ease but in the dis-ease, validate where you are. Of course, you feel this way, remember all the ‘isms’?

If you want to work on your relationship with worthiness, work with me here.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! It’s great to be back in real-time, it’s great to be back in the lower 48, and it’s great to be back and MARRIED!! The month of August was so filled with surrender, and let go to allow space for magic. I’m so happy to be back and to bring this evolution to my business. I’m excited to allow you all to benefit from my lessons, it’s one of my favorite parts!

I’ve really learned that when we don’t take time off, or unplug we are constantly in the weeds. We’re constantly in the micro, patience is low, and it’s really hard to remember to see the bigger picture. Unfortunately, you can’t automatically take yourself out of the weeds of life, you need the time to break the cycle. I didn’t realize how much pressure I was putting on myself two months ago before we left. I gave myself full permission to take those 5 weeks off; no pressure, only joy.

On this week’s podcast episode we have a re-upload of a well-loved oldie, but goodie! We’re so excited for Jillie to be back next week and share her newest adventure!

In this episode Jillie shares about being forced to accept help and slow down. For many of us, receiving can be difficult, and feeling like a burden can be difficult. In that, Jillie found a lesson to share that a lot of us can relate to. We are worthy no matter what, and you always will be. Your peace, joy, love, and enlightenment are all wrapped up in it, you are still enough.

It’s lovely to hear from Jillie again, and this topic is fitting, considering she’s just returned from her elopement and honeymoon! Make sure to come back next week for new content from Jillie, and to hear about her latest adventure.

In this episode, Jillie speaks about love, our favorite topic. In this life, we are meant to love and be loved. If you haven’t yet found your person, it can feel difficult to feel that way. In reality, love is all around us. What’s preventing you from feeling love, from being love, from showing love? Typically the answer is… self-sabotage. The way to fix this is simple, but it’s not easy. Questions your doubts. Until we do this, we aren’t fully aware of the beliefs running our minds.

The definition of worthiness is the quality of being good enough & Jillie mentions that she hasn’t ever had a conversation with someone who has felt good enough. How incredible and eye-opening is that?

Welcome back to the Worthiness Mindset Podcast. Jillie and Robbie are taking the month of August off to elope, and enjoy each other on their honeymoon in Alaska!

This week, Rebecca of Rebecca Howe Coaching challenges the idea that your worthiness is something you need to heal. We often assume when we feel negative sensations (especially anxiety) it is because something has gone wrong, when in fact it may be just the disorienting side effects of our success and growth. Rebecca is breaking down why feeling negative emotions has nothing to do with being worthy or feeling worthy. What is actually happening, teaching you techniques to change your relationship to worthiness to feel worthy NOW.

Rebecca is a Board Certified Health Mindset Coach, having trained and certified with the Mayo Clinic and Functional Medicine Institute. She works with clients to create amazing relationships with their body and their health, because when they do that, they achieve goals that they didn’t think were possible, they love themselves, they are happier, and they have the confidence to get anything they want. She works with entrepreneurs, executives and high achievers who recognize that their health is the foundation for everything they want BUT they don’t want to compromise their dreams, ambition and desires to take care of it. She works 1:1 to help them listen to their body, change their internal monologue and trust themselves. This improves inflammation, stress and ultimately changes their life. Welcome back to the Worthiness Mindset Podcast. Jillie and Robbie are taking the month of August off to elope, and enjoy each other on their honeymoon in Alaska!

In this episode, Victoria Miretti, a great friend of Jillie’s, joins us to speak about worthiness in the concept of dating and love. When she started her journey Victoria made a list of her top 5 criteria, and then realized that most of the men that she’d pined after in her past didn’t even meet that bare minimum. There are always parts of our story that are the tiny building blocks, creating your YOU! Our collective experience is what makes us, us, and we tend to pass judgment on some of these parts. Don’t, you wouldn’t be you without them.

Welcome back to the Worthiness Mindset Podcast. Jillie and Robbie are taking the month of August off to elope, and enjoy each other on their honeymoon in Alaska!

As a special treat, there will be guests filling in on the podcast, and this week we are so excited to bring back Joe Nix a friend and client of Jillie’s. Joe shares with us the many ways we can advance, grow and find abundance. For Joe, the biggest catalyst is joy.

Early on in his journey, Joe was desperate to be happy, so he thought. He had identified his deep connection with joy at a young age and would return to that feeling in the best and worst times. When in times of stress or difficulty he began choosing joy. The power that positive emotion has comes from the connection and choice behind it. Whatever you focus on expands.

Welcome to another episode of the Worthiness Mindset Podcast!! Hello from Anchorage!

Today I wanted to share a process that I’ve been going through, focusing on identity and change within. So much of our worth is put into what we do, it’s such a large portion of our identity. As soon as that thing gets taken away, it makes us question our worth. There have been so many evolutions of my own identity, and it collapsing! I was always jumping. I continue to jump. Purpose, legacy, and mission are so important to me, and I have wrapped my worth in them. The pressure is so large, and in that, we will always feel like we are not doing enough. It might never be enough.

In the past year in dealing with my health, I had to change a lot about my life, one of those things being my work style. I could no longer rely on my work ethic. I could no longer count on my ability to say ‘yes’ to everything and outwork anyone. I no longer had unlimited spoons to share! My identity was taken away, who am I without it?

Hello from Anchorage, AK! We’ve had a ton of rain, so fingers crossed that it will let up by our wedding day!!

I wanted to talk about something I’ve seen coming up for many people lately, and it’s the transformation in not judging where they are. Many of us struggle with feeling like we should be further, and the people I see thrive and make changes quickly, they embrace the back and forth, the ebbs and flows. Often we think we’ve healed something, and we’ll feel jolted when it comes up again. Instead of thinking of it as moving backward, look at it as a way to see your growth, to see how far you’ve come.

This is the space where grace, compassion, and patience are NEEDED for yourself in this space. When you start doubting yourself, pay attention to the judgments happening in your mind. As yourself, ‘how can I see this as growth, progress, and me moving forward?’

You don’t need the protection any longer, you don’t need the story any longer, but you can honor that for a long time, that story served you in some way, it kept you safe.

Hello from Alaska, Worthiness Warriors! If you don’t follow me on IG, please do! I’m posting so much good lately! A reminder, that you are not stuck in your circumstance.

Today, I wanted to talk about finding yourself in this place of constant tragedy and not knowing what to do next. The systems of oppression are constantly happening to us. I recently used the word micro-aggression, and multiple people have shared with me their feelings about it. As a white woman, I can experience micro-aggressions of sexism and misogyny. The system has been designed to hold and wear me down.

Recently someone jokingly told Robbie, ‘you need to train her’, in response to something I did. Some might say I’m reading into it, except that later that same man says to another man ‘look at those crows chase others, remember when we could chase women like that?’ There is an eternalization that happens when we hear these things over and over again.

Happy Thursday WW!! Welcome to van life!

I recently shared this story on my email list, (if you aren’t on my email list sign up here). We recently took a 36-hour overnight ferry and it was so incredible, right now it’s light for like 20 hours a day. The ferry was through these channels, and so calm. We saw wildlife, mountains, and the most glass-like water. Everything about it was so beautiful, I can’t stop talking about it. It was so rugged, so wild, and it was such an adventure!

That was only one part of the adventure and the other part is the people you meet. When you put yourself out there for adventure, you also meet people who are doing the same thing. I know my life is unconventional, and outside the bubble is where I’ve found my mind open the most.

Welcome back for another episode of the Worthiness Mindset podcast! Quick note; things can be messy, and you start anyways!

Robbie and I made a big life decision, we decided to elope! Granted, we decided to do this before we got engaged but still. When we make these large life decisions there will be so many people giving their opinions, so much noise in general. How do you navigate big life decisions?

I am someone who seeks the opinion of others to make decisions. In high school, I wanted to break up with my boyfriend, but I couldn’t make the choice on my own. In fact, I worked at an ice cream shop and dialed a random person’s phone number, hoping that they would help me decide. Where you are with this, I get it, and I give you permission to be in that place.

Happy Thursday WW. This week I will be finally making it to Alaska after 3 years of planning! We just spent some time in Canada, and I’m still in awe that this is my life.

Because of that, it seems like a good time to review the lessons I’m learning and what I’m needing. Remember that everything you need is relatable, universal, and HUMAN. Rose and I created a whole group just for this! Living in the grey, and being whole-ass human beings! Join us in Woman Up here!

When we moved into an apartment for the winter in Denver I was at burnout, and I could hardly function. Coming back into the van, I didn’t give myself a sense of safety, a comfort zone. I was so used to pushing myself out of my comfort zone, that I was causing a constant fight or flight.

We are not expected to expand and grow continuously. Whatever season you are in, it is normal.

Happy Thursday WW, and hello from Washington!

Today we’re going to focus on knowing and sharing your truth. So many times we censor ourselves or stay silent because we’re afraid to get it wrong. You can feel it in your body when you are listening and living your truth. Sometimes, although I know this, I realize that I’m not telling my truth. I’m not sharing because of the noise, but it makes me feel so boxed in without sharing.

Without sharing your truth you get the feeling of being stagnant, you’re not speaking how you feel and moving the energy through. Stop bottling up your truth.

This was so good, that I couldn’t NOT share it! There are so many powerful, seemingly put-together women, who are actually really lonely. Recently Rose and I found so much of this recently. By coming together in a community, we’re getting things done. When we stay lonely, with shame in guilt, that’s when the system wins. Us together is active resistance and hope.

How do you get the energy, and creativity to innovate in hard times? Community.

It’s been a heavy week, a devastating week.

Worthiness Warriors! Happy Thursday! Hello, and thank you for joining me today.

Hello from the Columbia River in Washington. It is finally warm and sunny, so I am LOVING that. I’m so grateful that you’re here with me this week. Time is the most precious commodity, and I’m so thankful you’ve given me your time.

Today I want to talk about worthiness and my health journey. In the past year, I have spent more money on my health than I ever have. Late last fall, I started feeling really bad. I had a terrible energy level, my mental health was declining quickly, and I didn’t know what was wrong. After seeing many doctors, having terrible experiences, and continuing to have to advocate for myself, I couldn’t take it anymore. It was expensive both monetarily and energetically, but I got to a point when I realized that I couldn’t afford not to take care of myself.

I suddenly started taking a look at my life, and the ways in which I wasn’t taking care of myself because it costs money. This isn’t about a gym membership or feeding into the health and beauty industry.

Hello again, Worthiness Warriors! Happy Thursday!

Our last podcast from Portland, and since I last recorded podcast episodes SO much has happened in the world. I’ve kept a list of so many things I want to speak on, but first, we need to talk about the big things going on.

The list of major world events happening goes on and on & sometimes it’s easy to forget the impact that the collective has on us. Because I am a woman, I want to share what I felt the day that the SCOTUS information was leaked. The systems are working as they are designed, to make us question ourselves. To make us not feel worthy of challenging the system, and to keep us small.

We are not in the business of playing small.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors!! We’re still in Oregon after being back on the road for a few weeks, that’s not to say there haven’t been a few kinks to work out! Van life doesn’t equal a simpler life, but I’m so grateful that these are the problems we have. I want a life full of the problems I choose, I would rather have van life problems and entrepreneurship problems than others.

With that, I ask you, how could your life look different or be different? How could it be simpler? How could you open your mind to the possibility? In order for something to happen, it doesn’t have to look a certain way, or be hard!

Hello again from Bend, OR, another stop on our journey to Alaska.

Today, I want to talk about you, and your life being enough. I’m currently reading ‘The Gap and the Gain’, which talks about taking where you are in the present and comparing it to the future. No matter what you will always feel behind because by the time you reach that accomplishment you would have moved the goal post. When you’re living in the gap, it’s never enough, but when you are living in the gain encourages you to reflect on where you were and how far you’ve come.

A conversation in Woman Up this week inspired this episode! We spoke about allowing ourselves to be wrong, and even celebrating it because it means that we've grown and evolved. One of my newest learned superpowers is this; stop, reflect, and give credit. If we constantly reflect on how wrong we’ve been, out of nowhere we’ve grown and evolved WAY past what we could have expected.

The conversation that ties being right and your worthiness is a big one, an important one. This understanding could heal the divisiveness that exists in our country, family trauma, and the list goes on and on. Embrace being wrong, and say it proud. We are only human.

This episode is a little shorter than usual, and that’s because I want you to take the extra time to reflect on what grace and space mean in your life. So often we feel a sense of urgency to… feel better, change, show up anyway, and stop saying no. Without giving yourself the time to heal, you’re returning at less than 100%, it makes no sense!

When we live on this borrowed time, it’s like a credit card. You are going to have to pay it back. Your body is going to force you to pay it back. Your mental health is going to force you to pay it back.

This throwback episode quickly reminds us that the shadow side of life is all a part of the human experience. The sooner you accept it, the easier it will all be. You’ve got to feel all of the things.

We also go in on our love within. I never believed that people truly wanted to spend time with me or do nice things for me, and in the end this really pushed people away. I downplayed myself and my worth for so long, and apologized for being a burden! I wasn’t a burden, and I needed to stop apologizing. I needed to stop making my doubts and insecurities truth.

Recently in Woman Up we did a series on permission, and the topic came up with every single speaker in the summit. I’ve realized that is what people need more than anything. We just want to feel like we aren’t crazy, and that there is nothing wrong with them. We’re human!! We are finally celebrating being human.

We all just want the permission to be. Not be productive all the time, or always DO! Can’t we just sit on the couch, eat popcorn, and just be. You are more than your productivity. Society has created so much around this idea of not being enough… and we are here to break it.

It's one of our final episodes from Denver, and we chat about giving ourselves time and grace while not having such a connection to our 'identities'.

We moved out of the van and into an apartment about 4 months ago, and it's almost time to return to the road. So much of my identity was wrapped up in living on the road, and turns out taking a break in Denver in this apartment was exactly what I needed.

Hello Worthiness Warriors, and Happy Thursday!

First of all, last week’s summit was so magical, and there was such a collective feeling of relief. We enjoyed every moment, and continue to have people reaching out to share how life-changing it was. Are you doing what is fulfilling for you? Join us in Woman Up here!

Last week I was introduced to something I need to work on. not judging the process or timeline of those around me. Faster doesn’t mean better. As an athlete, I tell myself the faster I go, the faster I’m going to get there. This isn’t true for our process though. In fact, the clients I’ve worked with who get life-changing results are not the ones who force or go faster. They also don’t judge their timeline or resistance. They embrace it.

Today we set the tone by learning my mantra before I speak or record podcasts. I hope that what you get today, is exactly what you need.

Many around me are off of social media or spending less time there than ever. With this I tell you, that your power isn’t conditional, your worth isn’t conditional, and your joy is not dependent. I used to think that my power, skill, and value was dependent on how I felt! That's SO untrue.

View Details

I'm so grateful that you're here, and I just wanted to start off with that.

Recently I spoke at a conference, and I spoke about a step to worthiness that is constantly being overlooked. That piece is compassion, while simultaneously calling out systemic oppression. We often skip it because we assume that we will shame ourselves.

Instead of punching down, we punch up. (Thank you, Rose!!) Instead of living as a victim, we punch up.

As a bit of a throwback this week, I bring you my favorite episode about love. Just in time for Valentine's day! It was just too good to not share again.  Be the one that you are looking for.

This week's podcast is with my friend and client Joe. Joe shares about himself, and what brought him to this moment.

We spend the episode discussing not only his worthiness journey but how we came to work together. He shares what has changed, and what stories he no longer tells himself about his worthiness.

View Details

In this episode, I share a story about a real full-circle moment. It's like all of this time and things have come together. I have come so far, and yet I still have the same pit in my stomach.

This just says that circumstance doesn't change how we feel, or how we experience things. When you do something out of your comfort zone, you are faced with having to question your worthiness the most. Choose worthiness over and over again.

View Details

Firstly, give yourself the space to take time off. Although not the focus of today's podcast, but a good reminder. As we return for this year, I want to confirm that you need and deserve rest!

Do you seek the past of least resistance, because you want comfort? Often we equate comfort with safety, which isn't always the case and it doesn't always mean peace, right? Staying the same will bring about the opposite of peace.

I recorded this when we were in Ashville, and I wanted to share about boundaries. Today you'll learn what boundaries are, how you can set them, expectations, and what you actually have control over when you are setting boundaries.

I now consider myself a very strong boundary setter, and of course, that wasn't always the case. Prior to learning this skill, I was willing to sacrifice a ton, nearly anything, to please. Boundaries aren't personal, that's the lesson for the podcast.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors and Happy 2022! I'm back!! In today's episode, I give you all a bit of an update on me and jump right into sharing a teaching moment from my life. If you know me, you know that I am not the biggest fan of resolutions, and sometimes we ask for things and then lack the patience to wait it out. Just because something doesn't happen when you decide you want it, doesn't mean it's time to give up hope.

'Bow your head, and move your feet.' Give grace to the universe and make progress. Move closer to the goal, and often you'll be surprised by the outcome.

Practice self-compassion. I could end it right there, but I won't. I had recently (as of the recording of this) had a rough day, and instead of pushing it away, I allowed it to be there. I took a step back, and I thought about how I could be doing it all differently. I allowed myself to be. I did what I needed, then allowed myself to sit in the sadness. I always have to remind myself in these times that '24 hours from now I will feel differently.' I have used this strategy since and I use it until this day. Allow yourself to sit, without judgment.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! Firstly, I hope you're enjoying some time away and enjoying the holidays! Slow down and enjoy it.

Secondly, don't think that you need to be thinking about starting or doing. You can just be. But here's a bit of a story about how I got started with my journey. The answer is affirmations. This actually started when I was quite young, and when I would go to bed at night I would share my gratitude and every goal I had.

In the long run, this single step started changing my relationship with money, people, family, and myself.

Another amazing THROWBACK on this Thursday!! As usual, this has so much power and is so needed! We're talking about intimacy, which can look like so many different things. The connections you have spiritually, emotionally, and physically. At the time of its original posting, I was working with couples to create intimacy beyond what they could imagine. That conversation can be so tough, but it's even harder to create without having intimacy within yourself. Otherwise, you can't be open to receiving it from someone else. How can we create intimacy personally?

View Details

In this replay, we chat about simplicity, keep it simple. We're all paralyzed by overthinking and overcomplication. We all have these big goals, myself included, and I struggle to know where to begin. I overcomplicated making a podcast for a whole year! So with that, I ask, how can we keep things simple? Think of a goal that you keep putting off, or telling yourself you're not ready for, are you making it harder than it needs to be?

View Details

This is such a FIRE message!! Listen up. I am not the girl I was, I am the woman I am. Run with it! We cannot repeat patterns in our life, and sometimes we are so afraid of repeating the patterns that we run with the story in our mind. That story is based on a past version of yourself, and this is normal. You are not wrong.

However, that story no longer works for you. I'm going to show you in this episode how to change it.

Happy Thanksgiving Worthiness Warriors! This replay is so ideal for this time of year and the holidays. What is the difference between boundaries and expectations? Typically, expectations aren't communicated however, a boundary is the opposite.

Expectations are a form of conditional love... if you show up this way I will give you love, but if you don't I will pull away. Too often we use expectations to form and decide our relationships. On the other hand, boundaries are a way of saying how important a relationship is.

This replay is pure gold. It's one of my absolute favorites. I woke up with a thought last night that I MUST share. The people who use empath as an identifier are often lacking boundaries. Say that again for the people in the back!! Do you relate?

This week we go a little deeper and get a little closer. This past week I lost my aunt, someone who is really important to me. This year has held a lot of grief for us, and I thought it would be a good time to talk about how to navigate it. As much as it sucks, it is a part of life it is the only known. For a lot of us, the last couple of years have really brought up how we were taught to work through these negative feelings. Learning to feel, both good and bad, helps you to feel something you've never felt before. There is nothing wrong with sitting in your pain.

There is a difference between taking responsibility for the part you've played and blaming yourself for it. Today we'll look at how our thinking and the energy we act from is entirely responsible for the part you've played, meaning you are in control. When we understand, we can come into a situation with clean neutral energy instead of coming at it from our emotions. Things are much cleaner when people don't take things personally.

Here's the thing.. when you understand the model (created by Brooke Castillo) which says that 'your thoughts produce your feelings, your feelings fuel your actions, and your actions create your results.' Once this model has become a part of your life you'll start to see it happen to those around you. You'll start to see how their thoughts are creating the results of their life. When it happens, it feels like you've tapped magic. We'll go through the model from a worthiness perspective and you'll see exactly how you are creating your reality.

Hello from our last few days in Maine! I'm in love with this place, it's magic. Recently I shared a story on a radio show about healing publically, and I'm hoping that allows you to fully see yourself. I have grown with worthiness the most, that's why I coach it (and because I believe it is the foundation of everything)! There is no endpoint, there are always more ways to grow in our worthiness.

I have started hitting all of these goals recently that I couldn't have dreamed of before. Everything I had dreamed of was now true. While this is happening, I flew to Colorado, and I truly thought I would die on the flight. I've always been a nervous flyer, but this was more intense than usual. I realized that I had hit my upper worthiness limit. I still wasn't feeling worthy enough for these goals to come true.

This episode is all about something I've been going through in life. A friend recently told me that I like to heal in public, so I can share it with all of you. Growing up I didn't have a model for handling conflict and thinking that anger was the worst thing to be. It caused me to avoid conflict, and through communication training, I've learned the natural default is to avoid. Being assertive is something I had to work very hard to become. Feeling these emotions creep up again I realized that I felt stifled and like I needed to yell. I wasn't having the conversations I needed to have and I found myself full of resentment with some of the people I love most.

I'm here to tell you that you cannot move backward, in fact, what if you need to take a step back in order to move forward? Play with making everything a non-problem. Where does it get you?

Hello from New Hampshire, if you haven't been to New England you are missing out! Being here I haven't really wanted to be plugged in, but my old programming continues to share its ugly head. That programming says I need to do more, wake up earlier, and work harder. I've got a case of the shoulds! Instead of falling back into that habit, I wrote about it. 'Beating yourself up is not a prerequisite for being human.' Stop being your own worst critic.

I'm always reminded of my worthiness, and that there is no goal, no end point. As your capacity for worthiness grows, we are frustrated by stagnation, but our growth is not linear, life is not linear. There is no problem in slowing down, there is no problem. Part of the growth is finding the balance, and without a decent cup of worthiness, you will not find balance. Hard work does not mean hard accomplishment, instead, accomplishment is chalked up to practice and care.

This week, for Upstate New York, I'm sharing with you something I realized while enjoying coffee by a waterfall this morning. Fish doing their best to swim upriver, trying again and again and refusing to give up, reminded me of people. Our thoughts are trying to jump out of societal norms and move along with our own thoughts. When the waterfall of beliefs continues to come down on us, doing the work feels more difficult. Instead of feeling like you need to be farther, continue to have grace and compassion for exactly where you are.

Here's a monthly pep talk. While kayaking I was thinking over the idea of enoughness, noticing how the trees just existed. While it does, it changes our lives through the air and its existence. All it does is exist and it is enough. It's so significant that we are dependant on it, and it allows itself to be. Then I looked at the water, and realized the same thing, it just is enough. But, am I enough? That questioning dictates our actions trying to prove it so, in turn causing us to not live up to our truest potential. There is no such thing as not-enoughness, it's a lie.

Join me for a pay what you can masterclass on being Enough next Tuesday, June 29th. The link is in my IG bio.

Happy Thursday Worthiness Warriors! This topic has been in my awareness lately, this idea of being wrong, not enough, or the need to change. Coming from a space of needing to be something different to become a parent, have the dream business, or find the dream partner. This energy is living into our future selves. "One day I'll be x, y, z, enough." You are making yourself wrong in the present, and not accepting this version of yourself. You, right now, don't believe you are worthy as you are.

View Details

Happy Thursday, coming to you from Westchester, PA on our trek up to Maine. I've been thinking a lot about the place we make decisions from, belief worthiness or unworthiness. Worthiness can sometimes feel so far and disconnected from us. Because everything stems from worthiness and self-worth our only solution is to break this belief. Regardless of it all, it is always true, you are worthy. Learning to see ourselves differently, and how to cultivate it in ourselves is urgent. Follow along with some examples of where we make decisions from enough, and not enough.

In a conversation with a client recently, this question was brought up. What is the decision I would make if I already was the person that I desire to become? If you already had the relationship, the job, the joy, and freedom you're craving. If you were already in love with your life, what decisions would you make? Instead of deciding based on your current life, decide your life based on where you want to be. You must do something different if you want to create something different in you life. What would that person choose if they already had everything they desired?

When do you think you'll finally be enough? The truth is, you are enough on the days you don't show up your best, you are enough no matter what. We think that being enough needs to be earned and it is external. We forget that we are all human, and we tend to mix up perfection with being enough. Even when we are imperfect we are enough, even when you make mistakes. Guess what? You can be wrong and make mistakes and still be enough. When we realize that our enoughness cannot be taken away and that it just is, suddenly we can stop proving ourselves.

This podcast comes to you from Illinois with us back on the road. Send any questions you have about van life so Robbie and I can answer them in an upcoming episode. We go into living your dream and doing you. The biggest portion of this, living authentically, is directly related to boundaries. Boundaries with others and with yourself. I consider boundaries one of my specialties, maybe because it has been one of my biggest lessons. I had no boundaries on what others thought before I started doing the work, not understanding that what people think is not important. Typically, boundary-setting starts with yourself and learning what to take on. When you set boundaries with someone, they will often not respond well to them because boundaries are set with people who tend to cross them. It is your job to uphold them.

Coming to you from a deer stand in Wisconsin! This episode speaks on how to take things less personally. Our limited beliefs created when we were little are running our lives. Here's your reminder - you don't have to take things personally! This will free you. Realizing this will free every aspect of your life, and I do this with everyone I work with. We all crave this freedom. I'll walk you through an activity to help with accessing that freedom by addressing the meaning you put to communication.

This episode focuses on something I have had to do a lot of work around, money honey! We're afraid of having negativity around money, in fear of creating scarcity, but in turn we suppress these feelings. You must address and do your work around money. Where do you feel the sensations of money in your body? How does talking about money make you feel? How were you raised to think about money? As Amanda Frances says, 'money is'. We add value to money, it does not inherently carry its value. Without addressing what you were taught about money, you'll never overcome the money blocks. Thinking about money is not bad, but thinking about it in the positive is ideal, instead of thinking about it being fleeting. I've had to do work around money connected to my worth. When you find the blocks, you'll find the magic and hope of healing.

This episode reminds you that your growth is the clearest when going through difficult times, not when you're living on cloud nine. We can't always be optimistic. Giving yourself the space to feel, by validating your feelings is a part of the growth. Having grace and compassion for yourself, instead of looking for the silver lining.

Back from Ashville, today I wanted to share a bit of a pep talk. You are enough without change, exactly as you are. Regardless of what you are telling yourself to make you feel less than, your worth is unchanging. Let go of what is not serving you and holding you back. Let go of what is not your responsibility, because it is time.

Are you ready to take in a little more today, and receive something extra? I've been reflecting on receiving lately while remembering the strangers who have welcomed us into their homes while we've been on the road. We're so afraid of being a burden, or imposing on people because I am overwhelmed by the generosity and good that we receive daily. Then I remember, and remind you all, that people love to give.

How much do you have to accomplish before you feel like you deserve some 'you' time, some self-care time? The answer? Zero, zip, zilch. So often in our life when we do self-care or ask for space, we've desperately needed it for a long time. There is no need to wait for something to be wrong to take care of yourself, catch yourself early, and prevent the breakdown from happening. Change the conversation with yourself, and make yourself a priority in the moments when you feel fabulous. Instead of taking care of the symptoms of burnout, solve the problem.

This episode comes to you from beautiful Northern South Carolina. We talk about the less talked about portion of vulnerability about what happens when things don't work out the way you'd hoped. We all encounter this, and times where we don't receive the support we need when we share ourselves, fully open. The key, you can't be authentic without being vulnerable.

Today, I ask you to see self-care differently and urge you to look at what you want from self-care. We'll look at how to make self-care fit for you, and remember that life goes through ebbs and flows. In some stages, you just need to know how to set yourself up for success, and focusing on when you are doing just enough to get by. Without addressing worthiness and our lack of self-worth, we'll never get to the place of feeling completely comfortable with self-care. You'll get a bit of free coaching in this episode, and have idea's to move forward with your own self-care journey.

In this week's episode, we're reminded that the first step to finding love is falling in love with yourself. The way you speak with yourself becomes the way you'll speak to your partner, and without the healing of your self-love relationship, your loving relationships could suffer. You would never speak to someone in the mean way you can sometimes speak with yourself.

Remember, love isn't just about you.

How do you treat others when you haven't forgiven them? Is it the same case for yourself?

Other people's opinions, judgements, expectations, and reactions are not yours to take on.

Read that again.

You tell me if you have ever felt any of these:

  • Have you been afraid of rocking the boat? Or like you were walking on eggshells and would do anything to keep the peace?

  • Not speaking up because you are afraid of embarrassing someone else or what their reaction would be?

  • Afraid of making others uncomfortable, so instead you took it on.

  • Thought that "there must be something wrong with me" or "I must be the broken one" based on someone else's judgements and opinions

This week's podcast episode is for you then. Because it's time to let that sh*t go.

There is a difference between asking yourself, "What is my contribution?" and taking responsibility for your part and then taking everything on and enabling the other person to continue in their abusive patterns.
