David could have easily chosen revenge for Saul's family, but instead was committed to kindness. Why does revenge sometimes seem like the wiser choice? Who is a person you believe God is challenging you to extend reconciliation instead of revenge? How do you believe this act of kindness will help strengthen your walk with Christ?
Kindness doesn't require a return. Do we usually show kindness knowing that there will be a reward for us? Think of practical ways you can show kindness this week, without any sort of repayment? How will this act of kindness demonstrate the love of Christ?
