The captured Mallrats start distributing their resistance leaflets but are unprepared for the consequences. EBONY asks PRIDE to speak to BRAY in order to clear the bad feeling in the rebel camp, while TRUDY finds out about TAI SAN's visits to THE GUARDIAN and takes drastic action.
BRAY is despondent after AMBER's departure, while in the mall TAI SAN tries to make THE GUARDIAN see a different point of view, and the spying game becomes increasingly dangerous for PATSY and CLOE.
The rebels pick up the pieces after the Chosen ambush, while TRUDY is enraged at being put in danger. CLOE becomes a star pupil, much to KC's disgust, and AMBER has a choice to make.
PATSY goes undercover with the Chosen and AMBER comes up with a plan to fight back, but it requires EBONY's co-operation. Meanwhile, THE GUARDIAN and MAY hatch a plan of their own - will the rebels fall into their trap?
Blame is thrown around on all sides after the raid on the mall as everyone rushes to plan their next move. Attempts are made to heal the divisions within the Mallrats, and MAY unwittingly catches the attention of THE GUARDIAN.
Arriving in the city, BRAY, DAL and the Gaians make plans to free the Mallrats, while EBONY and LEX make their own, more drastic, plans. In the mall, classes begin for the new Chosen initiates, and ALICE and ELLIE consider a new approach to their resistance.
EBONY's lies are exposed as the Gaians make their decision about fighting the Chosen. Meanwhile ALICE struggles to keep the Mallrats together when TRUDY offers them a deal, and TAI SAN receives a summons.
In the mall, the Chosen work together to break the Mallrats, while in the Gaian camp LEX's outburst could affect the tribe's decision on whether they should help the city, and BRAY finally learns the truth about AMBER's coldness towards him.
Shocked and confused at seeing AMBER alive, BRAY, DAL, LEX and EBONY discuss how she could have survived, but only one person has the answers and she is determined to keep her distance and send them away. Can they convince her to speak to them?
MAY and SALENE agree to attend a Chosen ceremony, much to ELLIE’s disgust; LUKE defies THE GUARDIAN to help TRUDY, while DAL sets off on a journey to discover the truth.

JACK enters the lion's den, CLOE becomes increasingly worried about TRUDY's treatment of PATSY, and LEX tries to let ALICE down gently.
With peace between the tribes within their grasp, BRAY and DANNI disagree with LEX and ALICE over how far they are willing to compromise in order to achieve their goal. TAI SAN has a bone to pick with LEX, while RYAN faces a difficult decision about his future.
ALICE continues to fall for an oblivious LEX, while SALENE and EBONY's designs on BRAY shake DANNI's confidence in him. TRUDY continues to display odd behaviour, but others among the tribe are starting to notice.
The Mallrats hold a tribal forum but can they convince the city of the threat posed by the Chosen? PATSY faces her fears, while TAI SAN makes an enemy and LEX basks in his moment of glory.
After TRUDY’s return, EBONY and DANNI have their own ideas about how to defend themselves against a possible attack from the Chosen. SALENE is forced to confront her true feelings, and LEX discovers an injured ALICE – but can he save her in time?
The Mallrats are overjoyed by the return of TRUDY and BRADY, however their thoughts soon turn to the possibility of an attack by the Chosen to get her back, while EBONY and PATSY worry about what TRUDY's return might mean for them personally. CLOE and PATSY advise RYAN on how to reconnect with SALENE, and LEX's recent actions might have cost him the support of ALICE.
RYAN takes a leaf out of LEX's book as his relationship with SALENE is further strained. EBONY makes a confession, and TAI SAN is troubled by bad dreams - but what do they foretell?
The Mallrats throw a dance party to keep the tribes happy, but not everyone in the city is fooled. ALICE fights to keep LEX on the straight and narrow, while RYAN's desire for a family continues to drive a wedge between himself and SALENE, and BRAY finds himself pushed towards EBONY.
ELLIE is determined to speak the truth despite resistance from within the tribe. CLOE and PATSY's friendship suffers as they continue to compete for DAL's affections, and LEX's lifestyle causes problems at work.
After her speech to the mob, EBONY returns to her solitude, while TAI SAN, BRAY and DANNI all try to get through to her - for different reasons. ELLIE thinks the time has come to publish the truth about the Virus, and RYAN has a proposal for SALENE.
TAI SAN tries to get through to EBONY, who has been scarred by her experience and continues to have flashbacks to her treatment by ZOOT. CLOE and PATSY are impressed by DAL's bravery after he is attacked by the Gulls, but the escalating tensions in the city could soon put all the Mallrats in danger.
TAI SAN fears that EBONY is in danger, but can she drum up support from the rest of the tribe for a rescue mission before it's too late? Elsewhere, JACK and ELLIE's relationship keeps the Mallrats entertained, and LEX lets slip some vital information.
JACK and ELLIE revel in their new relationship, and the peace in the city sparks optimism in the rest of the tribe too, but with the Mallrats struggling to contain the rumours about the antidote, it may be short-lived. DANNI takes drastic action to maintain the status quo, while EBONY finds the tables have turned.
As the tribes finally start to work together, ELLIE struggles with the knowledge the Mallrats are keeping from the rest of the city, while LEX struggles to find his place in the tribe. KC uncovers information that could spell danger for EBONY, but what will he do with it?
DANNI is forced to reveal her secret to the rest of the tribe, and EBONY uses the fallout to strengthen her own position in the mall. In the city, LEX falls in with a group of Outcasts, while RYAN continues to search for his friend.
It's the grand opening of the Mallrats' Trading Market. DANNI is especially buoyant after JACK and ELLIE's investigations into Pandorax appear to have hit a brick wall, but the duo haven't given up yet. EBONY realises she's made an enemy in ALICE, while RYAN worries himself over LEX's whereabouts.

Believing that DANNI's revelation could win the tribe's trust and secure her an innocent verdict, BRAY urges her to come clean, but her reluctance forces him to consider a confession of his own - one that would deflect suspicion away from DANNI but at the cost of his own reputation.
LEX takes advantage of SALENE’s kindness and burns his bridges with RYAN and the Mallrats in the process. DANNI is caught in a lie at her trial and BRAY sets out to uncover the truth, but will he like what he finds?
DANNI's secrets might be her undoing as a guilty EBONY attempts to deflect suspicion for the attempt on TAI SAN's life. LEX continues along his path of self-destruction, but can SALENE help him open up about his demons?
DANNI prepares to put her Bill of Rights before the tribe leaders but first she has to contend with interference from EBONY and dissent from TAI SAN, as well as LEX’s own special brand of chaos. Meanwhile, EBONY resorts to drastic measures in order to take out a rival.
EBONY takes advantage of her new position to beef up security during the antidote clinics, which doesn't go down well with some members of the tribe. TAI SAN's plans for the next phase of the antidote rollout cause concern, and RYAN reveals LEX's troubled past to SALENE.
Following his actions at the beach LEX is given the cold shoulder by the rest of the tribe, and a confrontation with BRAY doesn't help his standing in the mall. EBONY continues to exploit her hold on BRAY to her own advantage, and KC enlists PATSY and CLOE to help with his latest scheme.
EBONY reveals to BRAY that she knows where TRUDY and BRADY are, but her information comes at a price. As TRUDY faces initiation into the Chosen as their Supreme Mother, can the Mallrats reach her in time?
With EBONY missing, LEX reasserts his authority and takes over the search for the missing Mallrats, while KC finds a way for CLOE and PATSY to help from within the mall. Elsewhere, a captive TRUDY is forced to make a deal with the Devil in a bid to escape the Chosen.
Held by the Chosen, and with EBONY's fate in her hands, TRUDY forces her fellow captive to explain herself. As the two look back on their shared history with BRAY and ZOOT during the last days of the old world, can they find any common ground?
EBONY finally shows her cards, making a deal with the GUARDIAN to deliver TRUDY to the Chosen, but the result may not be quite what she bargained for. Back at the mall, BRAY's indisposition leads to tensions running high as LEX and DANNI battle for the upper hand. And LEX's advice to RYAN leads to a confrontation with SALENE.
Escaping the farm, DAL warns the rest of the Mallrats about the Chosen and their adherence to ZOOT. Realising that they must have BRADY, the tribe mount another search with EBONY taking the lead - but what are her true motives? Elsewhere, DANNI continues to compete with TAI SAN for BRAY's time, while JACK stumbles upon some surprising information, only to lose it again.
DANNI begins drafting a Bill of Rights for the city, but finds it hard to discuss her new project with BRAY due to his new obligations to TAI SAN and the antidote. JACK and ELLIE seek advice from friends over their feelings for each other, while SALENE and RYAN dance around their own relationship worries. Meanwhile, impatient with the lack of news on BRADY's whereabouts, TRUDY decides to take matters into her own hands.
As the tribe's supply of antidote begins to dwindle, all hopes rest on TAI SAN being able to recover her memory of the formula. PATSY returns to the mall, but her presence is too much for TRUDY, who feels increasingly isolated among her fellow tribe members. KC continues to search for a way out of his predicament, while JACK and ELLIE find an answer to their questions about the Virus.
Feeling guilty about BRADY's kidnapping, PATSY runs away and refuses to return to face TRUDY. Back at the mall, TAI SAN fights for her life, while LEX distances himself from KC as ALICE begins to uncover the truth about the explosion. And EBONY goes all out to protect her reputation.
Under pressure from ALICE, TAI SAN finally admits she is sick, but her refusal to stop working could prove deadly when her impaired sense of smell prevents her from detecting a gas leak in the lab. DANNI develops an interest in JACK and ELLIE's investigations, while PATSY secures a job as BRADY's childminder - with disastrous consequences.
The day of the tribe leaders' meeting has arrived but not everybody who turns up is on the guest list. LEX neglects his duties in favour of hitting the gambling den, while KC comes up with an idea to uncover the secrets of TAI SAN's antidote formula. And JACK and ELLIE step up their investigation into the origins of the Virus.
DANNI's plans to capitalise on the Mallrats' influence in the city put her into conflict with both TAI SAN and LEX. JACK sets out to impress ELLIE, while DAL jumps at the chance to live his dream - although it might turn out to be a nightmare for KC.
Seeking revenge after KC's fake antidote fails to make ELLIE better, ALICE takes TAI SAN hostage at the farm. LEX and EBONY lead a rescue party but DANNI is suspicious of their motives. And a protective RYAN resents SPIKE's presence in the mall.
TAI SAN reveals her knowledge of the antidote formula, but is keeping the information secret from the rest of the tribe a sensible precaution or a play for power? LEX and EBONY make new allies in their own bid for control of the antidote, but their partnership with each other remains shaky. Meanwhile, BOB is in danger and ALICE is on the warpath.
Unable to find the formula for the antidote, JACK and BRAY must attempt to analyse what little remains while trying to keep it out of the hands of LEX, while TAI SAN puts her trust in herbal medicine. The grateful city dwellers soon turn nasty when they suspect the Mallrats of keeping the antidote for themselves, and - as the Virus begins to spread beyond the city - ALICE takes charge of an angry and desperate mob looking for answers.
The tribe returns to the mall only to find an unwelcome guest lurking in the shadows. Elsewhere, BRAY tries to convince a mistrustful DANNI of his motives, while EBONY attempts to lure LEX back to the dark side. With the antidote in their possession the Mallrats face a dilemma over sharing it with the rest of the city, but without the formula to be able to produce more have they only earned themselves a temporary reprieve?
The Mallrats discover that there is an antidote to the Virus but their joy is short-lived when an explosion at Eagle Mountain has tragic consequences. In their grief, TAI SAN rallies the tribe to return to the city to search for the antidote that could save all their lives, although EBONY has her own reasons for wanting it. Meanwhile, a new tribe spot the satellite in the sky and begin a journey of their own.
The Mallrats have encountered a literal roadblock on their way to Eagle Mountain, but they’re saved by the sudden arrival of BRAY and EBONY in one of the Locos' buses. BRAY’s reception by AMBER, however, is chilly, much to his confusion. But just when all hope seems to be lost, the Mallrats finally reach their destination and are delivered one final message from the long-lost adults, which places them securely in the driver’s seat of their own destiny.
Prompted by JACK’s insistence and TAI SAN’s vision, which seems to confirm his hunch, the Mallrats agree to leave their home for Eagle Mountain. At the Locos' headquarters, BRAY attempts to convince EBONY to leave the notorious gang and come back to the mall with him. Her feelings on the topic change drastically when SPIKE initiates his own coup d’état. As the remaining Mallrats begin to leave, AMBER’s finally written off her feelings for BRAY, but TRUDY may not let her give up so easily.
JACK believes he’s uncovered the secret to the mysterious formula, but he has a hard time convincing the others to go along with his hunch since it means potentially leaving the mall for good. AMBER remains on edge after seeing the helicopter footage of BRAY and EBONY together. Meanwhile, EBONY attempts to instill doubt of AMBER’s true feelings into BRAY’s head.
DAL and RYAN have figured out the perfect way to do reconnaissance of the Locos by attaching a small camera to the remote helicopter, but AMBER may not like what she sees when EBONY attempts to seduce BRAY. LEX returns to the mall, but he doesn’t find himself greeted very warmly by his wife.
EBONY seems to have won, having taken not only the antidote, but also LEX and BRAY. But AMBER’s not giving BRAY up so easily, and she embarks on a search for the Locos’ hideout. Meanwhile, JACK attempts to access the facility’s files with the help of KC, who fears that his time with the Mallrats is limited.
The mall has been set ablaze by TOP HAT and the Tribe Circus, and the Mallrats are hopelessly trapped inside— that is, until LEX secures a deal with EBONY and the Locos. But EBONY wants the antidote, and she’ll stop at nothing to get it. Is her deal with LEX genuine? Or is it another trap?
Just as BRAY feared, the Tribe Circus — led by the insane TOP HAT — invades the mall attempting to enslave the Mallrats, but the Mallrats aren’t giving up without a fight. Meanwhile, LEX continues to remain a prisoner to both the Locos and the virus.
In his efforts to help CLOE escape the casino, KC has been captured. To continue the clearing of his conscience, LEX sets out to rescue KC, though the young gambler may not be welcomed back to the mall. ZANDRA once again confides in RYAN. And AMBER and BRAY finally reveal their newly minted relationship to the others, only after TRUDY accidentally catches them together.
KC is gambling away the tribe members’ personal items, including the pig! Can CLOE help win it all back? Meanwhile, LEX is feeling the effects of the virus and, having seen TAI SAN’s recovery, decides to try her method instead of taking the antidote. However, TAI SAN’s method requires LEX to be free of a heavy conscience, leading him to a series of confessions to each member of the Mallrats.
AMBER, BRAY, LEX, and DAL are trapped inside the lab at Hope Island with little time to escape before “full decontamination” of the facility is initiated. Elsewhere, TAI SAN’s symptoms worsen, despite her regular meditation. And CLOE stumbles upon a discovery about KC that could mean the end for the tribe’s pet pig!
AMBER, BRAY, LEX, and DAL head to Hope Island with the belief that they’ll find information about a cure for the virus. Unfortunately, what they find en route is an abandoned minefield! Meanwhile TAI SAN begins showing symptoms of the virus, but refuses to treat it with science or technology. And RYAN catches SALENE in the act of bingeing once again.
BRAY, AMBER, LEX, DAL, and KC split into two teams and leave the mall to find any clues to a cure for the virus affecting GLEN. While out, DAL makes a startling discovery about LEX. And KC’s own wit is put to the test when his team is confronted with members of the Locos. Back at the mall however, GLEN appears to be recovering slightly— but is it due to a promise made between him and his former love, ZANDRA?
What was once believed to be a blessing becomes the Mallrats’ worst nightmare when it’s discovered that the mysterious old man seen wandering the streets is actually GLEN, who now has the virus and has begun rapidly aging— and he’s not the only one out there. Is the virus contagious? If so, are the Mallrats now infected?
PATSY has come face-to-face with the mysterious adult wandering about and convinces him to come back to the mall in hopes that he’ll help restore order and hope to the group. However, back at the mall, LEX has organized a trial in an effort to expel BRAY. And TRUDY finds herself once again worried about SALENE’s bulimia.
JACK believes he’s made a discovery that could potentially change the lives of everyone: an adult wandering the streets! But can he get the others to believe him? In the meantime, BRAY convinces the tribe to clean and decorate the mall to liven the place up. To everyone’s surprise LEX is on board from the start. But is this just another of LEX’s tricks to boot BRAY from power?
SASHA’s departure has left AMBER depressed and unable to let go, leading to further power struggles with LEX. LEX’s distaste for the situation is only inflamed after BRAY offers to step up for the tribe. And despite RYAN’s reassurance that he will watch over her, SALENE’s bulimia threatens to rear its ugly head once again.
RYAN and SALENE become considerably closer as he helps her escape her newfound prison and she entrusts her secrets to him. Having decided to leave the tribe, AMBER and SASHA return to the mall to find the gang in shambles. Can AMBER truly leave the only family she’s had since the virus struck months earlier?
With the place in complete disarray, TRUDY is becoming increasingly frustrated with being the only person who works around the mall. JACK wants to become more mobile and enlists DAL and KC to make it happen. Meanwhile ROANNE and DIRK use SALENE’s addiction against her, taking her prisoner. And another day spent with SASHA at the beach leads AMBER to a very dramatic situation.
LEX and ZANDRA celebrate their honeymoon away from the others, while AMBER and SASHA spend their own time away. RYAN and BRAY have taken to sulking. Elsewhere, SALENE makes a deal with ROANNE that could go terribly awry.
The mall is hopping with everyone working on the upcoming wedding of ZANDRA and LEX. While some of the girls help ZANDRA prepare for the big day, TAI SAN meditates for the young couple, and JACK and DAL work feverishly on getting the fountain operational for the ceremony. Afterwards, the boys partake in a little — or a lot — of the cider they procured in the trade with the farm tribe, leading to disastrous results. Meanwhile, SALENE has taken to stealing other Mallrats’ personal items for bartering with ROANNE.
SALENE is warned by ROANNE to bring items to barter for food next time she comes to the warehouse. Meanwhile, to make good on ZANDRA’s desire for a nice wedding meal, SASHA leads a group to trade with another tribe living at a nearby farm. But despite BRAY’s warning to leave the mall after the wedding ceremony, SASHA finds himself getting even closer with AMBER.
A lot more food has gone missing, and people are starting to notice. SASHA is becoming more and more a favorite among the Mallrats, including AMBER. BRAY, however, isn’t nearly as keen on SASHA’s presence. With DAL, now back home and in tight with JACK, KC is beginning to feel left out. Meanwhile, as RYAN finally agrees to write LEX’s vows for him, ZANDRA tries to convince AMBER to officiate their ceremony. And SALENE may have finally met her match when her bulimia sets her off on a mission to find more food, leading her to stumble upon what appears to be an abandoned warehouse.
Food continues to go missing from the supply, and though TRUDY has forgiven SALENE the wrongdoing, she encourages her to come clean to the rest of the group. With the date for ZANDRA’s and LEX’s nuptials officially set, LEX tries to convince RYAN to write the wedding vows for him. The Mallrats vote to make SASHA an official member of their tribe, but is he finally ready to settle down?
While JACK scours the conference for the copper wire necessary to get his turbine working, the others look for alternate ways of getting out alive. TAI-SAN continues the breakdancing competition, but due to a risky agreement between AMBER and EBONY, the stakes are now considerably higher than before. Back at home, SALENE tries to keep her harmful secret between PATSY and herself.
The Mallrats travel to meet with the other tribes to trade goods and service and to help ensure peace between gangs, but BRAY’s promise of a technology to restore the tribes’ power may be a bit premature. TAI SAN uses her grace to represent the Mallrats in a dance competition, LEX comes face to face with an old friend, and KC spots DAL, who’s on his way to becoming a slave. Meanwhile, back at the mall PATSY stumbles upon SALENE’s secret.
The Nomads have decided against DAL’s leaving the tribe and have taken him prisoner. SASHA’s attempt to release him lands him in custody as well – but what do the Nomads have in store for their prisoners? Back at the mall, a heartbroken ZANDRA confronts RYAN over his involvement in keeping LEX’s affair with TAI SAN a secret, and LEX begs for yet another chance with his former intended.

The Nomads have decided against DAL’s leaving the tribe and have taken him prisoner. SASHA’s attempt to release him lands him in custody as well – but what do the Nomads have in store for their prisoners? Back at the mall, a heartbroken ZANDRA confronts RYAN over his involvement in keeping LEX’s affair with TAI SAN a secret, and LEX begs for yet another chance with his former intended.
Thinking it will land him more late-night encounters, LEX encourages TAI SAN to teach him the ways of spiritual awakenings. TRUDY’s return to the mall prompts mixed emotions and concern over DAL’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, having confided in another new member of the Nomads— a boy named SASHA— DAL finds himself also wanting to return to the mall. But will TROY and SUSANNAH allow it?
TAI SAN continues to elude LEX’s affections the morning after their trysts, much to LEX’s confusion and frustration. Meanwhile, RYAN has romantic — though odd — dreams about ZANDRA. On the beach, DAL and TRUDY are enjoying their new hosts, but TRUDY begins to have second thoughts about life outside the mall and decides to go back, leaving DAL with the Nomads. How will TROY and SUSANNAH react when they discover TRUDY missing the following morning?
Fed up with the tribe, TRUDY and DAL depart the mall, leaving only a note behind. Meanwhile with his eye on TAI SAN, LEX confides in RYAN that he’s lost his interest in ZANDRA. Elsewhere, DAL and TRUDY come upon a group of friendly nomads who’ve offered their camp as a new home to the disgruntled travellers. Back at the mall, the Mallrats take in a new member after he’s caught rooting through LEX’s bags.
Tensions are high within the Mallrats. TRUDY has woken from her self-imposed slumber, becomes confrontational with AMBER and gives BRAY the silent treatment. Meanwhile ZANDRA has her suspicions about SALENE’s involvement in TRUDY’s overdose. The relationship between DAL and JACK grows worse as DAL grows more interested in the human condition than in technology.
TRUDY decides to take her depression into her own hands by drowning a bunch of sleeping pills and is discovered by SALENE, who chooses to do nothing about it. Although TRUDY regains consciousness, DAL suffers from guilty feelings for having having brought the pills into the mall to begin with. And the relationship between DAL and JACK is strained when DAL chooses to spend more time helping restore TRUDY to health than working with JACK on this homemade battery charger.
As the Mallrats prepare for the impending attack on the mall by the Locos, BRAY sets EBONY straight with the truth about ZOOT’s mysterious disappearance and comes to an agreement with the Locos’ new leader. Meanwhile ZANDRA learns of LEX’s indiscretions that led to EBONY’s escape and refuses to forgive him. Matters may not be improved when TAI SAN decides to make things more harmonious.
Following her encounter with LEX, EBONY escapes the mall, leaving the Mallrats to wonder if they’re safe in staying. Meanwhile PAUL’s disappearance has PATSY worried, and TRUDY finally comes clean to AMBER with her feelings about BRAY and SALENE’s budding romance.
Much to ZANDRA’s chagrin and LEX’s relief, the wedding is interrupted when EBONY is discovered within the mall and imprisoned by the tribe members. But EBONY’s capture may be short-lived if she can bait the right person into letting her go.
BRAY’s been captured by the Locos, and their new leader, EBONY, wants to know everything he has to tell about ZOOT’s whereabouts. Meanwhile its’s wedding day for ZANDRA and LEX— but can all possibly go off without a hitch?
ZANDRA is ready to take things to the next level with LEX, but when their date goes horribly awry, the other girls in the tribe feel LEX should be punished. And now, with ZANDRA single, would an advance by RYAN finally be welcome?
While in danger of being caught by the Locos in the forest, CLOE is rescued by a mysterious girl named TAI-SAN. BRAY finds himself deeper in the middle of the unwelcome feud between TRUDY and SALENE when TRUDY finds out that SALENE accompanied BRAY in their retrieval of water. Once CLOE and TAI-SAN make it back to the mall, a party is thrown to celebrate CLOE’s homecoming. But while it is a festive event for some, others it spells heartbreak.
With CLOE missing from the night before, LEX organizes a search party, but unfortunately they’re headed in the wrong direction. CLOE observes the Locos in there search for ZOOT and later finds herself in danger of bing captured herself. Elsewhere, JACK and DAL continue to work on purifying the recent rainwater and stumble across an ancient breakthrough.
Despite having won the election, LEX appears to be losing his war against AMBER as the boys begin to help the girls with their assignments, and he takes it out on BLUEBELL. Meanwhile, JACK and DAL are hard at work trying to solve the problem of purifying the tribe’s water supply.
Frightened by ghastly sounds coming from beneath the mall, the guys accompany LEX into the sewers to investigate— that is, all but BRAY, who seems to know what the others are after. But the group may have an even bigger problem when a leak in the water tank is discovered.
It’s up to LEX to get JACK off the hook for hiding food from the rest of the tribe— otherwise, LEX’s own secret supply of water may be revealed as well. Meanwhile, displeased with LEX’s sexist work assignments, the girls decide to band together, refusing to work until fairer tasks are assigned.
The tribe holds an election to determine their leader, choosing between AMBER and LEX. Meanwhile, JACK’s secret food stash is revealed after PATSY and PAUL find themselves losing big to RYAN in hands of poker. As a result, JACK himself is on trial for hoarding the food.
Unexpected “guests” have been found in the mall, prompting a new method for assigning chores— now, if only there various tribe members can adhere to their assignments. An admission of love awkwardly puts BRAY between two jealous girls, while another rejects LEX’s advances once more. Meanwhile, the Locos have found a new leader.
Upon learning that he is the father of TRUDY’s baby, ZOOT is strongly encouraged by BRAY to give up his leadership of the Locos. But before her can make his decision, the rest of the tribe is alerted to the secret meeting, and a struggle puts an end to the conversation sooner than expected.
SALENE is fed up with the lack or respect for the chore assignments around the mall. TRUDY is awake and doing much better, but will a reluctant meeting with a mysterious stranger put her over the edge?
TRUDY’s illness has worsened, and BRAY’s persistent disappearances are increasingly aggravating the rest of the group. Meanwhile, LEX has an apparent change of heart when it comes to TRUDY’s well-being, and BRAY’s secret may finally be revealed… or will it?
BRAY still hasn’t returned, and TRUDY continues to be ill, preventing her from feeding the newborn baby and prompting DAL to make the dangerous trek to his father’s surgery at the abandoned hospital for antibiotics. Meanwhile, AMBER takes charge and implements a rationing system for food and water, such to the dismay of LEX and RYAN who bully JACK into doubling their portions.
BRAY and TRUDY have been voted out of the tribe, but it seems TRUDY’s contractions have started, prompting LEX to suspect a con. Throughout the day, while TRUDY’s labor drags on, DAL volunteers to venture into the city to find supplies for the baby, CLOE secretly feeds and plays with the calf, and PASTY and PAUL continue to blackmail JACK for food from is secret store.
BRAY explains that he’s been spying on the tribe to make sure the mall is a safe place to bring TRUDY to have her baby— but should she be allowed to stay? Meanwhile, CLOE finds a new four legged friend that’s been chased through the streets by the locusts, and PATSY and PAUL discover JACK’s secret stash of food.
A mysterious figure watches the group at the mall as AMBER informs DAL that they can’t abandon the others. The group decides to form a new tribe of their own, make their home in the mall and, on sharing supplies and resources, forge a safer future. But what to do with the prisoners? With little choice, AMBER offers LEX, RYAN, and ZANDRA, the opportunity to join the tribe on the group’s terms.
When AMBER and DAL find CLOE wandering the streets, they have her take them to her companions SALENE, PATSY, PAUL, and their dog BOB. Meanwhile, LEX, RYAN, and ZANDRA — laying low after a failed attempt to join The Locusts — decided to pursue AMBER’s newly formed group to the mall, where they all find JACK, it’s self proclaimed owner.
