We all play the game but is the game playing us? have you been black balled before? Do you even know the difference of being black balled or God taking you through a journey to elevate you higher than what you imagined. Struggles are meant to build us up. Without a test there can be no TESTIMONY!
What makes a good friend? What type of friend are you? Keeping healthy relationships are important and being able to go beneath the surface with conversations are important as well. For me its always been hard or felt uncomfortable. We working on doing better now!
Speak up! Dont suffer in silence, our mental is the most important part of our body. We lose so many people to suicide, CTE and so many more things but we must talk to someone. Holding it in wont help us! So I urge you, if your listening and are going through something your not alone and you can reach out!
Are we really ever self-made? I can say I am not and I'm sure a lot of you are not as well. We all have caught a break at some point in our life and we must remeber people have helped us along the way and we must return the favor!
Leave the nest! You will experience so many great things by getting out of your environment. Living in a different state/city you are originally from! But the oh the lessons you will learn and the focus you will gain! Our experience living in a total of 10 different cities combined.
The pandemic affected us all, but take deep vulnerable look into me and my wifes time during the pandemic as we survived moving to a new city. being jobless and just going throuugh one of our biggest hurdles ever! Welcome to the journey!
As African Americans we have to work against unconscious bias, as well as all minorities. We have to teach everyone how to play the corporate game and understand, we have to work twice as hard and do twice as much to sometimes stay in our higher ranking positions at work or to even get a job. Why is that? What must we do to change that type of thinking? Or, does that type of pressure work in our favor? Lets discuss!
