Today we will being continuing our conversation on You Become What You Behold, specifically focusing on the female role.

God has certain roles for men and he has certain roles for women. This is a good thing! God has a perfect image of how men and women are to operate, and when we do this we can truly flourish as He designed.

Society is continually trying to destroy the feminine role, especially through feminism. It is so important to continually fight for your femininity and understand your role as a godly woman.

Today we are talking about, 'You Become What You Behold'. If you behold the things of God then those are the things that are going to take root in your life. But, if you are beholding the ways of the world then those are the things your life will be filled with.

You must abide in Christ to be transformed. You don't need a formula or book after book to tell you how to live a life for God. You simply need to seek first the kingdom of God and everything else will be added to you.

So listen in and join the conversation on my Instagram — The Godly Woman Co,

In today's episode we are talking about Day 1 from my devotional, "Striding Over Striving: 7 Days To Resting In God's Finished Work".

Often times when we feel like we have to prove ourselves to the people around us we then think we need to do the same with God. We may have parents or friends who pressure us to live out their expectations rather than encouraging us to hear from God and follow His footsteps.

God's promises are already yes and amen. He has already written your story. Now all you have to do is abide in Him.

Jesus never questioned who He was or what God had called him to even when others were questioning his identity. He knew he was a son. Period. You are a daughter or son of Christ, there is nothing else to prove to God or anyone else.

Join me to further the discussion and we will walk through the reflection questions at the end together!

Today we are going to talk about the last season I was in, and growing in the area of hospitality. As well as the words I am focusing on for 2021: unashamed, courage, intentional, and what those mean to me.   For me personally, I like to get an overall vision, but obey God in each season so I can focus on that season, and steward it well with excellence. God has taught me how knowing the season we are in releases the stress on us. We know generally what the season will entail so we won't get as frustrated or impatient.   And lastly, we are going to be talking about my NEW ebook, "Striding Over Striving: 7 Days To Resting In God's Finished Work." I believe this devotional will help you live by the season God has you in instead of wandering through life not understanding what God is doing. We will never understand His ways fully, but He will show you what season you are in so your actions can follow.

Today, we are wrapping up our three part series, “Fight For Your Femininity”. Hopefully by now you have a good understanding that how the world views femininity is entirely different from how God designed our femininity to be as godly women.

The world continues to over sexualize women, makes women choose between being strong “like men” or being quiet and submissive, and causing women to feel ashamed of their femininity. This is NOT God’s true design for women!

In this episode we end the series by me giving you three ways you can treasure your femininity allowing you to embrace your feminine side and being proud of how you were created!

This week we are picking back up with part two of our, ‘Fight For Your Femininity’ series!

We are going to be talking about when we live out the true design God has for us as godly women we can create an oasis for those around us. It is by His design that we can be a living breathing example of the gospel! We do not have to hide our beauty or feel ashamed of how God created us.

The world shows us a counterfeit of what femininity is — either making us feel like we have to appear just as strong as men, or by over sexualizing ourselves rather than embracing our god given beauty.

Join in on the conversation by commenting below or hopping over to IG & FB!

See you next week as we close out this series with part THREE!

This episode is the first of a three part series where we are going to be talking about how to fight for your femininity!

Our femininity is part of our image and likeness that God created us in. And when we are not truly in touch with our femininity and feminine side as God designed us to be, there is a whole image of God missing from our life!

We are going to spend time over the next few weeks discussing the ‘Five Aspects of The Feminine Nature’. As we begin to recognize these unique attributes, as godly women, we can now begin to grow from glory to glory in the image of God.

In this episode we will be talking about how the woman's hair is her crown, her glory, and her covering. Whether you are single or married, God is always your Head.

Our actions on the outside can often be a symbol as to what is going on on the inside of us. And our hair is a way to show our inner submission to God and to our husbands.

In today's culture it is common to make women feel ashamed for being "girly" or feminine. However, this is exactly God's design and it is something to fully embrace as a Godly Woman!

Overview In this episode we will discuss what ministry is, what it means and what it actually looks like as a godly woman!

Whatever season you are in, you can find ministry. Whether it’s serving at home, stewarding your finances, or using your gifts and wisdom on the people around you. It doesn’t have to look a specific way to be considered ministry. God is much bigger than the stereotypes we put things in.

If you are in a season where you do have a ministry or work outside of the home, always remember that family gets your first fruits while the world gets the overflow.

What You’ll Learn! * What ministry is, what it means, and what it actually looks like. * What happens when wives and mothers choose ministry over their family and children. * The priorities of ministry as a godly woman * Setting a godly example for your children, spiritual children and future generations

Overview In this season of my life I have been in “home training” — discovering who I am and also who I am as a godly wife.

When I stumbled upon 1 Peter 3:3-11 where the attributes of a godly woman are listed, I decided I may want to do a study on what we as godly women should look like!

By learning to embody the attributes of a godly wife we, as godly women and wives, will more easily submit to our husbands, haveaa peaceful spirit and our marriages will glorify God!

What You’ll Learn! We will be reviewing the four attributes found in 1 Peter 3:3-11 amp:

  • Submit to your husband. Even if they do not obey the word of God, because they will be won over not by discussion but by the godly lives of their wives.
  • Be pure and modest
  • Have a gentle and peaceful spirit — not anxious or wrought up.
  • Do not let anything terrify you — not giving away to hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you.

In a world full of women emulating Cardi B, lets us women of God walk in our true identities and position ourselves to impact generations right from our home!

In this episode we will discuss:

  • The importance of the wife in the home
  • Societal pressures on women to be more than what God called us to be
  • Purpose as a wife
  • Burden vs Favor –– "He who finds a wife obtains favor from the Lord". -Proverbs 18:22 By Gods' design the wife attracts favor into the home. Women all over the world are trying to accomplish by false burdens what God created to through our role in the home.

We must position ourselves back into the place where God called us to be.
