Pastors Tim and Ryan slow down and sit with the Lazarus story, not just the miracle, but the ache around it. If Jesus knows He’s about to raise Lazarus, why does He weep so deeply? We talk through what might be happening in that moment: compassion for Mary and Martha, the weight of death, the pain of disappointment, and even the cost of calling Lazarus back only for him to face life and death again.

From there, we get honest about the kind of faith many of us live with day to day. We’ll say God is powerful, but when the pressure hits we quietly assume He’s not powerful enough for this marriage, this addiction, this diagnosis, this grief, or this season at church. Jesus’ words to Martha cut through that half-faith: “I am the resurrection and the life.” Not a concept. Not a future idea. A Person. We connect that to Christian hope, the difference between Lazarus’ resuscitation and Jesus’ resurrection body, and why that shapes how believers face death.

We also dig into what “abundant life” really means and why it’s often nothing like the comfort our culture promises. The free gift is real, but daily surrender is real too. We talk about hidden sin, shame, and dread and how they form a cage called freedom, plus what it looks like to stay on the tracks and live with the power of the resurrection in ordinary life. If you’re grieving, supporting someone who is, or wondering where God was when you needed Him, this conversation is for you.

Slogans can be comforting until real life presses on them. Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim sit down after a full week of VBS to talk about a question almost every Christian has felt at some point: how can I have assurance of salvation without settling for “coffee cup theology”? We dig into why phrases like once saved always saved, faith over fear, and God will never give you more than you can handle often carry a kernel of truth, yet still flatten the Bible’s nuance and can even create a false sense of security.

From our Signs and Glory series in the Gospel of John, we camp out in John 10 where Jesus calls Himself the gate and the Good Shepherd. That image shifts the conversation from “Did I say the right prayer once?” to “Do I have a relationship with Jesus where I hear His voice and respond?” Along the way, we hold several difficult Scriptures side by side, including Jesus’ warning that some will say “Lord, Lord” and still be unknown to Him, the promise that no one can snatch His sheep from His hand, and the sobering warnings in Hebrews about those who walk away.

We also get practical and pastoral: why doubts and questions don’t automatically mean you’re not His, what conviction can reveal about your heart, and why praying again can be humility instead of weakness. Then we reframe abundant life away from prosperity assumptions and back toward what Jesus actually offers: life with Him starting now and carrying into eternity.

If this conversation helps you, subscribe for more, share it with a friend who’s stuck in fear or confusion, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What slogan do you think needs the most unlearning?

Jesus didn’t pick a quiet moment to explain Himself. He stepped into the middle of the Feast of Tabernacles, surrounded by water rituals and blazing lampstands, and made claims that could not be misunderstood: come to Me for living water, I am the light of the world. That single move helps explain why John 7 feels so dangerous. Some people lean in and believe, while others decide He has to go.

We talk through what our modern reading often misses: the sheer scale of Jesus’ impact, the way His healings shattered the idea that suffering always equals personal sin, and why the crowds in Jerusalem were not reacting to a vague teacher but to a Messiah-level announcement. We also touch the reliability of the record, from early manuscript evidence like P52 to how quickly news of Jesus traveled across the ancient world, even without modern media.

Then we bring it home. Jesus calls His followers to reflect His light in everyday life, not just in “church jobs.” We get practical about prayer at work, prayer in hospitals, forgiving people who don’t deserve it, apologizing to your kids, and building a steady life that others can trust. We also share why we’re pushing toward 30,000 gospel conversations and how VBS Illuminate fits the same mission: shining light so people can see Jesus.

Subscribe for more through the Gospel of John, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review to help others find the Midweek Podcast. What’s one place you can pray and shine light this week?

If you’ve ever felt disappointed with God, frustrated with church, or tempted to quietly slip out the side door, John 6 puts words to what’s happening under the surface. We talk about the “vending machine” version of faith where we show up, pay our dues, and expect Jesus to deliver the outcome we want. When life doesn’t cooperate, that transactional approach can turn into offense, burnout, and eventually deconstruction.

Pastor Ryan and Pastor Jared unpack why so many people stop attending church by age 30 and why the internet can feel like an easier place to process doubts than a local community. We make the case that questions are not a threat, they’re an invitation. Doubt can take you down a rung or lift you toward intimacy with God, depending on where you bring it and who you bring it to.

We also lay out five common reasons people walk away from Christianity: wanting provision without Jesus, wanting a movement without obedience, craving comfortable teaching, demanding Jesus on our terms, and choosing bread over a cross. Along the way, we talk about consumerism in the American church, what it means to “major on the majors,” and how to be a safe person for friends who are struggling without replacing Scripture with opinions.

If you’re deconstructing, our challenge is simple: do it here. Stay connected, ask the hard questions, and let God rebuild what’s shaky on a foundation that lasts. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s wrestling, and leave a review so more people can find help and hope.

Jesus walks up to a man who has been paralyzed for 38 years and asks a question that feels almost unfair: “Do you want to be made whole?” Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim slow down in John 5 and let that line do its work, because it exposes more than a physical condition. It gets underneath our excuses, our coping habits, and the parts of us that want comfort without surrender.

We talk about the difference between being healed and being made whole, and why Jesus presses on desire, not just behavior. Whether it’s addiction, bitterness, anger, or a sin we have learned to protect, the prayer we keep coming back to is simple and terrifying: “God, change my want-tos.” That is what real sanctification and Christian discipleship looks like, not a band-aid so we can keep functioning, but a deeper restoration that reaches spirit, soul, and body.

Then the story turns sharp as the miracle happens on the Sabbath. The religious leaders miss the wonder and fixate on a mat, showing how man-made traditions can eclipse mercy and even weaponize Scripture. John 5 also wipes out the idea that Jesus never claimed to be God, as He speaks with shocking clarity about His unity with the Father and calls multiple witnesses to the truth.

If you want a better way to study the Bible, we end with practical guidance: go to Scripture with Jesus, not just to learn about Him. Try praying “Speak to me,” look for Christ in every text, turn reading into conversation, memorize what grips your heart, and share it with others. Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can discover more in Christ.

A father walks about twenty miles uphill with one thought in his head: my son is dying, and I have to get to Jesus. That’s where our conversation in John chapter 4 takes us, and it’s why this Sunday message fit Father’s Day so perfectly. We start earlier in the chapter with the woman at the well and the offer of living water, then zoom out to what Jesus is doing on purpose: breaking through hatred, crossing cultural lines, and proving that no one is beyond the reach of grace.

From Samaria to Cana, the theme sharpens. Jesus returns to the place of his first miracle, but the crowd shows up hungry for signs and wonders. When a royal official pleads for help, Jesus refuses to be a traveling magic show and calls out the deeper issue: faith that depends on spectacle. Then comes the shocker. Jesus sends the father home with nothing but a promise, and the man believes him. The miracle happens twenty miles away, right on time, and an entire household comes to faith.

We also get painfully practical about Christian fatherhood and spiritual leadership in the home: why dads matter, what obedience looks like when it’s inconvenient, and four challenges we can actually live out this week. If you want a deeper trust in Jesus and a clearer vision for your family, this one will push you in a good way.

Subscribe for more, share this with a dad who needs encouragement, and leave a review so more people can find the Midweek Podcast. What’s one area where you need to take Jesus at his word and walk it out?

Nicodemus shows up at night with real questions, a real reputation to protect, and a real cost to count and that single detail flips the way we think about faith. Some people meet Jesus in a moment. Others walk toward the Light slowly, carefully, and honestly. We sit with that tension and ask what it looks like to respect the journey instead of pressuring people into a quick decision that skips the work God is doing underneath.

We dig into why John keeps bringing Nicodemus back into the story and how his arc moves from curiosity, to public caution, to costly devotion. Along the way, we talk about Christian assurance, the pressure to produce a dramatic testimony, and why “I grew up in church” can be its own spiritual struggle. We also tackle the faith and intellect question head-on: how to engage doubts, Bible objections, science questions, and hard conversations without treating curiosity like rebellion or treating arguments like the goal.

Then we pivot to John the Baptist and the line that hits every part of life: “He must increase, I must decrease.” We apply it to major decisions, conflict and forgiveness, ambition and leadership, suffering and trials, and spiritual pride. We end by zooming out to God’s holiness and why new birth is not about being impressive but about surrender and grace. If you know someone on a slow walk toward Jesus, or if you’re the one walking, this is for you. Subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review to help more people find the Midweek Podcast.

Nobody has ever been more visible and more lonely at the same time. We start with uncomfortable numbers about social media, filters, and the hidden fear underneath it all: so many of us are desperate to be known, yet terrified that if someone saw the real us, they would walk away. That is the ache behind the masks we wear at work, at home, and even at church.

Then we slow down at the end of John chapter 2, where Scripture says Jesus “knew what was in man.” It can land like the scariest sentence you have ever heard, especially if you have spent years curating a safer version of yourself. But we also explore why it can become the most freeing truth in your life: Jesus knows you fully and still loves you completely, guarding what he knows and moving toward you with grace.

We also revisit the wedding at Cana and Mary’s simple request, “They have no wine,” as a picture of bold, relational prayer. If Jesus would step into a small, ordinary crisis because someone he loved asked, what might change if we stopped adding extra prerequisites to prayer and started interceding with confidence? We talk about authenticity, identity confusion, spiritual healing, and how the Holy Spirit gives real power to say no and become who God calls you to be.

Subscribe for weekly conversations through the Gospel of John, share this with a friend who feels unseen, and leave a review to help others find it. What would you ask God for if you truly believed you are fully known and fully loved?

Isaac asks a question on a mountain that still hits like a punch: “Where is the lamb?” Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim follow that question through the entire storyline of the Bible until it finally gets answered in John 1:29, when John the Baptist points at Jesus and says, “Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” Not a vague symbol. Not a religious nickname. A claim that the whole thread of Scripture has been pointing to one substitute.

Along the way, we talk honestly about why sacrifice shows up in virtually every ancient culture and why that matters for understanding biblical sacrifice, sin, and guilt. Then we trace the Lamb theme from Genesis (covering in Eden) to Abraham on Moriah (God provides the substitute) to the Passover lamb in Exodus (blood applied, judgment passing over) to the daily offerings that never seem to be “enough” until Isaiah 53 paints a stunning portrait of a coming Servant “like a lamb led to the slaughter.” This is substitutionary atonement explained through the Bible’s own story.

We also take it all the way to Revelation, where the risen Jesus is still called the Lamb on the throne, scars included. That flips our instincts: the Lamb looks weak, yet Jesus lays His life down by choice, and His wounds become the eternal proof of love. Then we make it practical with one question you can carry into every conflict and crisis: “Where’s the Lamb in this?”

John 1:1-18 looks short on the page, but it’s heavy in the best way. Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim sit down to unpack why John’s prologue is “theologically thick” and why reading Scripture on autopilot makes us miss what John is actually saying about Jesus.

We talk through seven core doctrines woven into these opening lines: the Trinity (“the Word was with God, and the Word was God”), creation through Christ, and the incarnation (“the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”). Along the way, we address a modern claim that keeps resurfacing online, that Jesus never claimed to be God, and we explain why John 1 forces every worldview to deal honestly with Christ’s identity. We also connect incarnation to today’s “spiritual but not religious” mood, renewed forms of Gnosticism, and even transhumanist instincts that treat the body like a problem to escape instead of a gift God calls good.

Then we move into revelation (Jesus as the clearest explanation of the Father), salvation by faith and adoption into God’s family, general revelation and common grace, and John’s contrast of law versus grace. If you want a richer Gospel of John Bible study, practical tools like a solid study Bible or commentary, and a bigger view of “grace upon grace,” this conversation is for you.

A quiet kind of courage shows up in the middle of laundry piles, late-night schedules, and the moments where you wonder if any of it is making a difference. Pastor Ryan sits down with a special guest, his wife Joy, to talk candidly about motherhood, the speed of parenting seasons, and the pressure to look like you have it all together. We share what we hope our kids remember someday, why grace matters more than perfection, and simple rhythms that help a family stay connected when life gets loud.

From our Mother’s Day message, we revisit Ruth and Naomi and the theme “the courage to stay.” Ruth’s decision to remain doesn’t feel heroic in the moment, but it becomes a picture of covenant love and everyday faithfulness. We talk about protecting your time, being present, and doing the next right thing even when you can’t see the big picture yet, trusting that God is still working in the ordinary.

Then we kick off our summer sermon series through the Gospel of John and the reason John writes: so you may believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing have life in His name. In an age of AI, misinformation, and low trust, we dig into why the Gospel of John is credible, including eyewitness testimony, specific names, “embarrassing” details, and archaeological confirmations. Most importantly, we challenge ourselves with the real question: does our life produce signs that we actually believe?

Subscribe for the full John series, share this with a friend who needs encouragement, and leave a review so more people can discover the Midweek Podcast from Fresh Wind Church. What’s one area where you want belief to show up this week?

Your emotions can feel like they’re telling the truth, but they’re often just telling the loudest story in the room. We talk about why emotions make great servants but terrible bosses, and how Christians can stop living at the mercy of anxiety, guilt, fear, envy, anger, bitterness, and even sorrow without pretending those feelings don’t exist. The goal isn’t an emotionless life, it’s an anchored life where feelings enrich you while truth leads you.

We share a simple, repeatable process we call building “walls of truth.” Think of all the Scripture, sermons, worship lyrics, and spiritual reminders you’ve collected over the years like a box of Lego bricks. Most of us have more truth than we use. When you start pulling that truth out on purpose and “building” with it, your emotions stop running wild and start running into God’s promises. That’s where real spiritual growth, emotional health, and Christian maturity begin to show up on Monday morning, not just Sunday.

We also unpack a line that creates instant resistance: you can’t be a better Christian than you are right now. That leads us into grace, imputed righteousness, and the freedom of knowing you can’t earn more acceptance, more love, or more forgiveness than Jesus has already secured. If performance culture has followed you into your relationship with God, this conversation helps you trade striving for rest and self-punishment for gratitude.

Listen, then share this with someone who feels stuck. Subscribe for more, leave a review, and tell us: which emotion do you most need to build a wall against right now?

Fear doesn’t usually show up announcing itself. It sneaks in through comparison, through scrolling, through keeping up, through that quiet thought that says, “God might not come through for me.” That’s why we go after a surprising pair in this conversation: envy and fear. They look unrelated, but they often share the same root accusation against God. When we believe that lie, our emotions stop serving us and start bossing us around.

We unpack a practical way to fight back: building “walls” and “hallways” for your emotions using Scripture, prayer, worship, and community. Instead of trying to become less emotional, we learn how to be fully human without letting anger, anxiety, or envy become destructive. We talk about why emotions run in packs, how envy turns into fear of missing out, and why chasing more money, more stuff, or someone else’s lane is always chasing the wind.

Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim also lay out three key “walls” to put up in daily life: identity (knowing whose you are and what race you’re running), contentment (learning satisfaction with God’s provision), and trust (letting God prove Himself faithful through obedience). We also challenge the church to recover what actually moves things: faithful prayer that no one applauds but heaven responds to.

If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s stuck in comparison, and leave a review so more people can find the Midweek Podcast. What’s one emotion you’re ready to stop letting run your life?

Your emotions can feel like facts when they hit hard enough, and that’s exactly why they can’t be the ones steering your life. Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim sit down for a candid Midweek Podcast conversation about emotional strongholds, the guilt and anxiety loop, and the difference between a feeling that is real and a feeling that is true.

We share a simple picture that sticks: build walls of truth so your emotions stay in a hallway where they can be felt without taking over your marriage, your parenting, your decisions, or your faith. Romans 8:1 becomes a defining boundary against condemnation, and we talk about what it looks like to give anxiety to Jesus instead of rehearsing it in your mind. Along the way, we call out how easily the world manipulates emotions through media, marketing, and constant outrage, and why Christians have to be grounded in objective truth.

We also get practical with the “box of Legos” metaphor. Every sermon, podcast, Bible reading plan, and Life Group is another block of Scripture, but transformation happens when you actually assemble the pieces. We point you to tools that help you find verses fast, plus resources like RightNow Media, and we invite you to reach out if you feel stuck and need help building your next wall. Next week, we preview the next paired struggle: fear and envy.

If this helped you, subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share it with a friend who needs freedom, and leave a review that helps others find the podcast.

One week the crowd lays down cloaks and shouts “Hosanna.” A few days later the chant turns into “Crucify.” That swing isn’t just ancient history, it’s a snapshot of how quickly our hopes can harden when God doesn’t follow our script. Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim kick off The Reveal Easter series by unpacking Palm Sunday expectations and the deeper question underneath them: are we trusting God, or are we betting everything on “the right guy” to deliver the life we want?

We walk through the story behind the story, from Israel’s long memory of oppression to the way signs and fulfilled prophecy fueled real confidence. Then we bring it painfully close to home by naming the versions of Jesus we’re tempted to build: problem solver Jesus when we’re desperate, prosperity Jesus when outcomes define our worth, comfort Jesus when we want relief without change, and political Jesus when we try to turn faith into a weapon for an agenda. These themes hit the core of Christian discipleship, spiritual formation, and what it means to surrender our identity instead of using God like a tool.

The turning point is simple but hard: our expectations aren’t too high, they’re too low. God’s purpose is bigger than immediate relief, and he often prioritizes transformation over rescue on demand. We close with a practical self-audit for anyone carrying disappointment with God, plus a call to stay faithful in the waiting so you don’t quit at the crucifixion and miss the resurrection. Subscribe, share this with a friend heading into Easter, and leave a review telling us what expectation you’re laying down today.

Your faith can be real and still feel out of sync. That’s why we love the “In The Shop” picture: sometimes you don’t need a brand-new life, you need a spiritual tune-up. Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim close the series by shifting from the big idea to the daily practices that actually keep Jesus first, not just on Sunday but in the pressure of work, family, and nonstop schedules.

We dig into five core spiritual disciplines that show up in Scripture and in the life of Jesus: fasting, service, Sabbath, witness, and generosity. We talk about fasting with a purpose, not as a diet trend, and how giving up food, coffee, social media, or the news can turn cravings into prayer prompts. We unpack service as a way to crush ego and find your place in the church, even if it takes trying a few roles before you click. We also challenge the modern grind with Sabbath rest that creates space to think, breathe, sleep, and actually hear God’s voice.

Then we widen the lens to evangelism and stewardship. Witness often starts with a simple “Are you OK?” or “Can I pray for you?” long before a formal gospel presentation. Generosity grows in stages too, from spontaneous giving to strategic giving and finally sacrificial giving that changes how you live because you trust God more than you trust your budget. If you’ve been craving a richer, more grounded Christian life, these practices are a clear next step.

Subscribe for more practical discipleship, share this with a friend who feels spiritually maxed out, and leave a review to help more people find the show.

Drift doesn’t usually start with rebellion. It starts with distraction. One day your mind is more formed by business news, headlines, and endless scrolling than by the voice of God, and you don’t even notice until the warning lights come on. Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim talk honestly about how that happens, why we can’t stay “neutral,” and how spiritual disciplines act like a simple maintenance schedule that keeps our hearts aligned with Jesus.

We walk through several of the nine practices from the “In The Shop” series, starting with prayer. Not polished prayer. Real prayer that includes confession, worship, asking, interceding, and then something many of us skip: silence. We share practical ways to handle prayer drift, learn what God’s voice sounds like, and rebuild spiritual clarity in a world where everything feels noisy and unreliable.

Then we zoom out to Scripture, worship, and fellowship. Bible reading renews the mind and resets the narrative the world keeps trying to write for you. Worship makes God feel bigger and your problems smaller by putting everything back in its proper place. And community matters more than ever, because isolation doesn’t just make you lonely it can make you delusional. We also talk about making disciplines manageable by starting on Sunday with worship, serving, fellowship, and even a simple fast that turns your attention back to God.

If you’re feeling spiritually dull, stretched thin, or quietly off-course, pick one practice and start this week. Subscribe to the Midweek Podcast, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review so more people can find practical help for following Jesus. What’s one habit you’re ready to rebuild?

Ready to breathe again? We’re putting the car in the shop before Easter to realign what matters most: making Jesus our first love and clearing the clogged drain of unforgiveness that keeps peace, prayer, and joy from flowing. With honest stories, practical steps, and straight talk from scripture, we unpack why forgiveness is commanded, how reconciliation works when both parties engage, and why restitution is humility made visible. We also draw clear lines around boundaries—releasing someone doesn’t mean losing wisdom or access to safety.

We explore the hidden costs of resentment: spiritual numbness, a defensive identity, strained relationships, and generational bitterness. You’ll hear how a single text—“You hurt me, but I forgive you”—opened the door to the first apology in years, and how writing “I forgave” with a date can anchor your choice when old feelings resurface. We tackle the hard questions head-on: If I forgive, who makes them pay? What if they never say sorry? How do I know whom to approach first? The answer centers on the cross—Jesus paid—and on your freedom not being held hostage by another person’s response.

Along the way, we outline a simple path you can act on this week: start small, start sincere, and start now. Identify the names that change your emotional temperature, own your part without excuses, initiate peace where possible, and let the Holy Spirit lead when silence protects rather than provokes. When Jesus is first and grudges are released, worship deepens, prayer reconnects, peace expands, and spiritual power strengthens your no to sin and yes to love. That’s the ministry of reconciliation we’ve received—and it’s the life you were made to live.

If this conversation helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs freedom today, and leave a review so more people can discover hope and healing before Easter.

We run a spiritual diagnostic before Easter, asking what truly reigns in our hearts and why obedience stops feeling like loss when the kingdom becomes our supreme value. We move from adding more church tasks to choosing Jesus first and letting everything else realign.

• the parable of the treasure and pearl reframing priorities
• discovery over sacrifice as the path to joy
• how distractions and marketing hijack desire
• two diagnostics: first emotional response and mental space
• emotions as servants in worship and daily life
• deciding before you feel and aligning choices
• substitution not subtraction when reordering loves
• Paul’s gain and loss lens in Philippians 3
• Easter preparation as clarity, not guilt

Ever wonder what kind of life makes heaven take notice? We walk through the finale of our Marvel series and add a special episode on integrity, showing why steady faith, honest habits, and a right heart matter more than any mountaintop moment. From faith and obedience to humility, worship, repentance, and a heart postured for blessing, we connect the dots to a single thread: God delights in consistency. Then we turn to Job—called a man of “complete integrity”—to reveal how character holds when comfort falls away.

We get practical. Reputation is what people think; integrity is what God knows. If the gap between your private life and public life is wearing you out, this conversation is for you. We talk about freedom from double lives, why gossip quietly breeds anxiety, and how small compromises steal peace. You’ll hear four simple ways to grow integrity: decide who you are before the test, practice private obedience when no one sees, guard your inner narrative so critics don’t rewrite your theology, and stay rooted in the fear of the Lord. Each step is simple enough to start today and strong enough to guide you in the next crisis.

We also challenge the way we choose influences. Don’t hitch your life to charisma or political alignment; look for leaders with proven character over time. Curate your inputs, cultivate clean habits, and trade flash for faithfulness. The goal isn’t perfection but wholeness—where your character matches your confession and your devotion matches your declaration. That’s where peace lives. That’s the life God can trust.

If this episode helps you take a step toward Jesus, share it with a friend, subscribe for new midweek conversations, and leave a review so more people can find the show. Then tell us: which trait are you committing to strengthen this week?

What if your life had nothing to hide—no low-grade guilt, no secret compromises, no dread of being found out? Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim map a clear path toward that kind of freedom by connecting faith, obedience, and righteousness as one living rhythm: say yes to Jesus and your heart, habits, and horizon begin to change. This isn’t about earning salvation; it’s about receiving the Spirit’s gift of new “want-tos” and learning how quiet confidence grows when your life aligns with God’s way.

We unpack why righteousness matters beyond Sunday. Think less checklist, more protection. Paul’s “breastplate of righteousness” guards your inner life in the real battlegrounds: tense meetings, hospital hallways, hard conversations, and private choices no one sees. Isaiah’s promise becomes tangible—the result of righteousness is peace, and the effect is quiet confidence—because you stop handing the enemy footholds and start walking with a clean conscience. We talk through common pitfalls like calling our preplanned sin a “struggle,” and we offer a better prayer: “Holy Spirit, change my want-to.”

Grounded in Luke 5, 2 Corinthians 5, Ephesians, and 2 Peter, we show how grace clothes you in Christ’s righteousness and then trains you to live rightly. You’ll hear practical ways to present your whole self as a weapon for good, build integrity that stands up to scrutiny later, and pray from victory instead of shame. From Job’s ordinary-yet-righteous example to modern moments of courage at work and home, you’ll see how small yeses add up to a life heaven marvels at and God can use anywhere.

If you’re ready for peace that lasts and confidence that doesn’t need to boast, press play. Then share this with someone who needs hope today, subscribe for more conversations like this, and leave a review with one question you want us to tackle next.

We share why Marvel focuses on people whose lives made heaven pause and how faith as allegiance reshapes obedience, church, and daily choices. From the centurion to Noah, we trace long obedience, serving with Jesus’ presence, and anchoring our yes in grace.

• faith defined as allegiance under Jesus’ authority
• humility of outsiders who amazed Jesus
• pushing back against church consumerism
• discerning where God calls you to serve
• obedience as faith made visible in daily choices
• Noah’s long obedience and unseen faithfulness
• walking with God versus working for him
• serving with Jesus’ presence in practical tasks
• anchoring obedience in grace not guilt
• taking the next right yes

This month on the Blue Chair Podcast, Pastor Jared, Charles Magyar and our Special Guest discuss why the birth announcement went to shepherds, how identity shifts after meeting Jesus, and why God’s will often feels unlike home. We share stories of growth in messy seasons, practical ways to make room for God, and how grace shows up in daily lines and long nights.

• shepherds as first witnesses and symbols of the sacrificial lamb
• returning to ordinary life with a transformed identity
• discomfort as formation rather than failure
• trusting God’s reroute and long work in us
• suffering as a place of clarity and calling
• making room by saying no to lesser things
• small daily disciplines that change the heart
• grace practiced in everyday moments and choices

We love you guys. Have a great month. We’ll see you at church.

Loneliness can feel loud during the holidays, even when the room is full. We start with the laughter of a kids’ Christmas program and move into the deeper ache so many carry—feeling overlooked, crowded by responsibilities, and unsure how to find our way back to Jesus. The good news is simple and strong: you don’t have to clean the room before you open the door. Confession is the hinge that swings it wide.

We get practical about making space for God when life is packed. Try a five-minute daily rhythm in Scripture and prayer and watch it grow. Lead brief, honest family devotions—just a paragraph, a question, and a follow-up tomorrow. Don’t have all the answers? Model how to find them. We talk calendars and bank statements as mirrors of what we love, and we give permission to skip a practice, end a binge, or silence a notification so your soul can breathe. Community matters too: make the call, tell the truth without oversharing, and be the voice on the other end when someone else is struggling.

At the heart sits the manger—whether you picture a stable or a crowded lower room—where the Savior chose rejection so you could be welcomed. He prepares a room with your name, not down the street but in the Father’s house. Present stress and private doubts are real, but they don’t compare to the glory ahead or the presence offered now. If you need a friend today, start with Jesus and reach for a brother or sister. Then tell us how it’s going. Subscribe, share this with someone who feels alone, and leave a review to help others find their way home.

The holidays promise warmth and wonder, yet many of us carry a quiet ache: we want to feel at home again. Not the picture-perfect living room, but a deeper rest where we’re known, loved, and not performing. We dive into that longing and trace it through the first Christmas, where Mary and Joseph faced social pressure, a grueling journey, and a delivery room no one would choose—yet discovered that peace isn’t perfect conditions, it’s being exactly where God wants you.

Along the way, we share practical steps for building a life of daily obedience—prayer, Scripture, worship, forgiveness—and how those habits give us strength for heavier asks. We explore finding purpose at work when the job is not your dream, ways to bring light into tense workplaces, and why detours don’t disqualify you. The heartbeat is simple and hopeful: you are accompanied. Turn around, reach out, say yes. The Father still runs to meet prodigals, robes ready, ring in hand, party lights on.

If this resonates, share it with a friend who needs courage for the next step. Subscribe for more conversations that help you take real steps toward Jesus, and leave a review to help others find the show.

We close our Grow series by naming five poisons that stunt spiritual growth—malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander—and show simple steps to uproot them. God’s discipline is grace that frees us to love life, guard unity, and practice our true identity in Christ.

• Peter’s five growth-killers and why they spread
• God’s discipline as love and invitation to freedom
• Growth as natural fruit of good roots in Christ
• Malice in culture and the habit of rehearsal
• Deceit and hypocrisy as mask-wearing and anxiety
• Shift from performance to practice of identity
• Envy broken by daily gratitude and celebration
• Slander, gossip, and protecting church unity
• Practical pauses, confession, and honest speech
• Blessing, joy, and loving life as promised fruit

Envy doesn’t usually look like a crisis. It hides in the small stuff: a neighbor’s upgrade, a coworker’s win, a friend’s announcement that turns your heart from celebration to comparison. We shine a light on those quiet moments and offer a clear, practical way to recognize envy’s grip before it steals your joy, peace, and gratitude. With real stories, holiday context, and plenty of honest reflection, we map seven telltale signs—from feeling like someone else’s blessing is your loss to the false race of “keeping up”—and then walk through five habits that help you recover contentment.

We also talk about the pressure to “look blessed” versus the freedom to “be blessed,” and how that difference changes what you buy, post, and prioritize. If you’ve ever felt behind for no clear reason, or found yourself rooting against a person who did nothing wrong, this conversation will help you pause, name what’s going on, and reset. We push into the hardest part too: the theology underneath comparison. Measuring God’s goodness by someone else’s blessings can warp trust; instead, we learn to rehearse God’s faithfulness, practice daily gratitude, and anchor identity in Christ rather than in results.

By the end, you’ll have a simple diagnostic, a handful of daily practices, and a hopeful vision for living with more joy and less envy—especially through the holidays, when comparison can run wild. If this resonates, share it with a friend, subscribe for future episodes, and leave a review so more people can discover practical ways to grow in contentment and gratitude.

What if the biggest barrier to spiritual growth isn’t your schedule, your past, or your circumstances—but the poison you’ve learned to live with? We take a hard, hopeful look at Peter’s challenging list and zoom in on two silent killers: deceit, the lie you live, and hypocrisy, the mask you wear. From teen years spent curating personas to adult lives split between performance and secrecy, we trace how image-making fuels anxiety, fractures relationships, and keeps us from the abundant life Jesus promises.

We ground the conversation in Scripture, walking through Jacob’s journey from “heel-grabber” to a new name, and explore why confession—naming reality before God and trusted people—is the turning point for freedom. You’ll hear practical, honest stories about masks in marriage, church culture’s temptation to prize polish over repentance, and how self-deception reshapes identity until the heart gets lost. Then we get actionable: how to identify one deceit to confess, where you’re performing instead of practicing, and why craving the word of God is the true antidote to soul-poison. No clichés, no image management—just clear steps toward integrity, joy, and steady transformation.

We also share exciting news from A Fresh Wind Church: a second Sunday service launches December 21 as we make room for more people to discover more in Christ. Join us by praying at 12:21 p.m. daily, stepping into a volunteer role, and inviting friends and family. If this conversation helps you breathe easier and walk truer, subscribe, share it with someone who needs courage to unmask, and leave a review to help others find the show.

Growth doesn’t stall because we lack Bible plans or good intentions. It stalls because we carry hidden baggage that chokes the very roots we’re trying to nurture. We kick off our Grow series by naming one of the most overlooked blockers in the New Testament lists: malice. Not mere anger—malice is the quiet wish for someone else to hurt. It hides in our daydreams of payback, in the thrill of the gotcha moment, and in the way our feeds train us to love outrage.

Ryan and Tim unpack why subtraction must come before addition in spiritual formation. You can add church, reading, serving, and still plateau if bitterness, envy, and deceit tag along. Together we trace malice’s path from hurt to unforgiveness to bitterness to hatred, then show how culture, teams, and algorithms amplify it. We talk road rage and text-thread bravado, the resonance that gets people elected, and the subtle ways we justify fantasies we’d never act on. The heart-level work starts with honest definitions and real examples you’ll recognize from your week.

Hope rises when we remember the battle is spiritual and the power is divine. We explore 2 Corinthians 10: demolishing strongholds, taking every thought captive, and refusing the lies that aren’t even ours. You’ll get practical practices: naming triggers, interrupting revenge scripts with prayer, filtering every thought through what honors Christ, limiting outrage inputs, inviting trusted friends into accountability, and journaling wins so you can comfort others with the comfort you’ve received. As malice loses its handle on your heart, the same habits you already practice start bearing real fruit.

Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s stuck on the treadmill of trying harder, and leave a review with one takeaway you’re putting into practice this week. Your story might be the map someone else needs.

Join Pastors Tim and Ryan as they unpack the early church’s practice of renunciation—turning from darkness and pledging loyalty to Christ—and explain why reclaiming that moment clarifies what baptism means. Baptism is a declaration of war so we dive into the New Testament’s clearest field manual on spiritual warfare: Ephesians 6. Piece by piece, we explore the armor of God with practical stories and concrete application.

We wrestle with why glory belongs to God alone and how that truth frees us from chasing applause. From sanctification to service, we show how peace and joy arrive as byproducts when Christ stays first and the adjectives fall away.

• resting salvation in Christ alone
• sanctification as God’s work in us
• merit culture versus grace culture
• algorithms and the pull toward self
• tuning the heart through surrender and trial
• joy completed through obedience to Jesus
• Colossians and Christ above all
• dropping adjectives before Christian
• serving without recognition and hidden faithfulness
• suffering as a place to reflect His glory
• Soli Deo Gloria as a daily practice
• prayer for courage and steadfast hearts

We walk through a simple, faithful way to interpret Scripture—moving from the original audience to our lives—using Joshua 1 as our guide. We trade coffee-cup slogans for context, test principles across the Bible, and finish with clear next steps and a prayer.

• why interpretation must be faithful before creative
• the five-step interpretive journey explained and modeled
• grasping the text in their town with Joshua 1:9
• measuring cultural, historical, and covenant differences
• naming a timeless principle: God’s presence fuels courage
• testing the principle across Scripture’s whole map
• correcting common misreads of popular verses
• turning principles into concrete, humble application
• starting with prayer and relying on the Holy Spirit

What if God’s will isn’t a maze to solve but a way to walk today? We sit down after wrapping our “God, Just Tell Us” series and make a simple case that might change how you make decisions: the just live by faith. Not flawless plans. Not airtight certainty. Faith. We talk about how Philippians shapes our desires to please God, why Hebrews tells us faith is what actually pleases Him, and how that reframes real choices—from career and calling to parenting and serving in the local church.

Have you ever wished God would just send a clear text message about your next big decision? You're not alone. In this illuminating conversation, Pastors Ryan and Tim unpack what it truly means to discover and follow God's will for your life.

Most of us are familiar with that desperate prayer: "God, just tell me what to do!" We stand at life's crossroads desperately seeking divine GPS coordinates, but as the pastors reveal, understanding God's will isn't about receiving a detailed itinerary—it's about recognizing the multiple ways God already speaks to us.

The conversation explores four powerful "windows" through which God reveals His direction: the influence of others, life situations, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and most importantly, the foundation of God's Word. Each of these channels offers unique insights, but they must work together, filtered through Scripture, to provide reliable guidance.

Ready to move beyond merely existing to truly living on purpose? This episode offers practical wisdom for anyone seeking to align their life with God's divine design. Tune in and discover how to recognize God's voice amid life's chaos.

Pastor Ryan and Pastor Tim dive into the "God Just Tell Me" series against the backdrop of recent national tragedies and personal loss, exploring how God's will operates even when circumstances are devastating and confusing. God's sovereignty, moral standards, and permissive will all intersect with His personal plans for our lives, creating a framework for understanding divine guidance.

• Understanding four aspects of God's will: sovereign, moral, permissive, and personal
• Exploring how God allows tragedy without causing it
• Recognizing that not everything that happens is about us personally
• Examining how God's sovereign purposes can emerge from terrible situations
• Prioritizing daily obedience over obsessing about future plans
• Learning to say "yes" to God before you even know what He's asking
• Finding freedom in knowing God is more concerned with who you're becoming than what you're doing
• Walking in God's ways to discover His will "one yes at a time"
• Realizing God's will isn't a destination but a relationship of daily faithfulness

What if the key to experiencing joy isn't found in changing your circumstances, but in training your mind? In this illuminating episode of the Midweek Podcast, Pastors Ryan and Tim dive deep into Philippians 4, unpacking Paul's powerful prescription for protecting joy through intentional thinking.

The conversation begins with a practical look at conflict resolution in the church. When Paul addresses two quarreling women in the Philippian church, he doesn't scold them but reminds them of their shared mission. This teaches us that unity doesn't require agreement on every issue—it requires commitment to a greater purpose. The pastors share candid insights about how easily we misinterpret others' actions and jump to negative conclusions, offering instead a transformative principle: "When there's a gap between what you expect and what you experience, love puts trust in the gap."

With remarkable clarity, Ryan and Tim methodically explore each element of Paul's instruction to focus on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Their conversation touches on everything from our cultural addiction to speculation ("Speculation's sexy," Pastor Ryan notes) to our tendency to tear down success rather than celebrate it. They challenge listeners to recapture childlike faith that hasn't been corrupted by cynicism and to become people who actively praise what's praiseworthy instead of only pointing out what's wrong.

Through personal stories, biblical insights, and practical examples, this episode offers a blueprint for experiencing the joy God intends for us. Whether you're struggling with church relationships, workplace tensions, or family conflicts, the principles discussed will equip you to protect your joy by training your thoughts on what reflects God's character.

Pastors Ryan and Tim explore Paul's letter to the Philippians, focusing on how the Christian life is about pursuing Jesus rather than checking spiritual boxes. They unpack Philippians 3:10-12 to reveal that Paul's true goal was knowing Christ, not achieving spiritual perfection.

• Many Christians mistakenly see the goal as sinless living or completing spiritual disciplines
• Spiritual growth happens when we pursue Jesus, not when we focus on the disciplines themselves
• The Christian life is intentional, requiring active pursuit rather than passive participation
• Knowing about God is different from truly knowing God in relationship
• Focusing on sin often leads us directly into it, while fixing our eyes on Jesus transforms us
• God Himself initiates our relationship and works in us to create both desire and power to pursue Him
• When we make Jesus our goal, all other aspects of spiritual growth naturally follow

What would our world look like if Christians truly lived lives worthy of imitation? In this powerful exploration of Philippians 3 and 4:1, we dig into Paul's bold invitation to "join in imitating me" and what that means for believers today.

The conversation unpacks Paul's remarkable relationship with the Philippian church—how he addresses them as "my dearly loved and longed for brothers and sisters" and "my joy and crown." This warmth stands in stark contrast to his approach with other churches and reveals something profound about spiritual leadership and discipleship.

We tackle the uncomfortable challenge of living authentically in an age where self-deprecation has become our default. While humility is essential, constantly undercutting ourselves can prevent others from seeing what genuine Christ-following looks like. When we've experienced transformation in an area, there's no shame in acknowledging God's work and inviting others to learn from our journey.

The discussion gets especially relevant as we examine Paul's warning about those whose "god is their belly"—a prophetic description of our consumer culture where momentary pleasures and clickbait dominate our attention. In this environment, people desperately need examples of what it means to "stand firm" in faith and live with heaven in view rather than being slaves to earthly desires.

Whether you're struggling with feeling qualified to lead others, battling the pull of consumer culture, or simply wanting to grow in authentic discipleship, this episode offers both challenge and encouragement. Listen in and consider what might happen if you committed to living in such a way that you could confidently say, "Imitate me as I imitate Christ."

Pastors Ryan and Tim explore how human expectations affect our relationship with God, using the powerful contrast between Palm Sunday's "Hosanna!" and Good Friday's "Crucify him!" as a spiritual metaphor.

• Examining the significance behind Palm Sunday's palm branches, cloaks, and celebrations
• Understanding how misaligned expectations with God can lead to disappointment or anger
• Recognizing the difference between what people wanted from Jesus and his actual mission
• Learning to surrender our allegiances to Christ while maintaining healthy priorities
• Finding sacred spaces where we can hear God's voice above competing influences
• Distinguishing between "deliverance problems" and "discipline problems" in our spiritual lives
• Identifying the ultimate "good" God is working in our lives as conformity to Christ's image
• Creating intentional time for God to speak without distractions or competing voices

This Easter week, examine your expectations of God and ask what deeper work He might be doing in your life that you could be missing. Find your mountain - that sacred space where you can meet with God.

Have you ever experienced the spiritual whiplash of going from complete confidence in God to utter despair? Elijah's journey from calling fire down from heaven to hiding in a cave presents one of scripture's most honest portraits of the human spiritual experience.

Pastors Ryan and Tim dive deep into this fascinating story from 1 Kings, exploring how even the most spectacular demonstrations of God's power don't necessarily prevent us from experiencing doubt, fear, and depression. Through Elijah's dramatic journey from mountaintop victory to cave-dwelling despair, they reveal how God speaks in both spectacular moments and gentle whispers. Tune-in as we unpack the psychological complexity of Elijah's experience while drawing parallels to our own spiritual rollercoasters.

This Christmas season, we're reminded of the powerful names given to Jesus in Isaiah 9:6 - Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. These aren't just titles; they're invitations to experience God's presence in our daily lives. The story of Simeon in Luke 2 beautifully illustrates how hope becomes reality when we truly embrace these aspects of Christ. Simeon's encounter with the infant Jesus shows us that recognizing God's promises fulfilled can bring profound peace and contentment. As we navigate our own 'weary worlds,' let's challenge ourselves to find Christ in the pursuit, not just at rock bottom. Are we allowing Jesus to be our counselor in decisions, our mighty God in struggles, our eternal Father and comfort, and our source of peace? This Christmas, let's move beyond mere knowledge of Bible stories to a living, breathing relationship with the One who fulfills all our longings.

As followers of Jesus, we are to walk instep with the Spirit. Too often though, the Holy Spirit and spiritual realm has been forgotten or cast to the side. But what if the things we consider "supernatural", were actually just the natural part of a Christian's life? It's time to stop living off of yesterday's filling of the Spirit and to walking instep with the Spirit day by day. This is the "natural" Christian life.

Too often, as Christians, we get caught up looking at the outwards aspects of our faith and fail to see what God is trying to do within us. God's Will becomes a mysterious future endeavor, instead of a daily intimate reality. Yet, Scripture reveals that God is far more concerned with who we are becoming, than what we do. The good news? This means its never too late! Join us for a conversation about discovering and walking in the will of God.

Many over the past 2000 years have questioned the validity of the Easter story. Could a man really die on a cross and rise again three days later? It doesn't seem plausible. So scholars, historians, and that one friend at work... have done their best to discredit the Bible's account of Easter morning.

On this episode of the Midweek Podcast, we take a hard look at the Gospels to see if there is any credence to resurrection. The answers might surprise you.

Right before the Apostle Paul gave husbands and wives relationship guidelines, he challenged the Christians in Ephesus to outdo one another in submission. But this challenge wasn't just to the Ephesians -- Paul highlighted this concept in letters to multiple churches because the way to win in the Christian life is through submission. As we work to encourage and support one another, each of us are able to reach further than we ever could on our own.

We live in a soundbite world where things are often taken out of context, or worse, twisted into meaning something the original authors never meant. The ramifications for this are often devastating. Unfortunately, many of us are guilty of approaching Scripture the same way, taking verses out of context or twisting them to fit our worldview or bias. While there are certainly those that do this intentionally, many Christians have simply never been taught how to accurately "handle the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).

In Part 2 of Keeping Scripture in Context, Pastors Ryan and Jared provide an overview of how the Bible is structured and layout a system for studying the Bible that will help you keep Scripture in context--and discover the theological principle for your life today.

OLD TESTAMENT OVERVIEW:

  1. Pentateuch / Torah (Gen - Deuteronomy)
  2. Historical Books (Joshua - Esther)
  3. Psalms
  4. Wisdom Books (Job, Proverbs - Song of Songs)
  5. Prophets, Major & Minor (Isaiah - Malachi)

NEW TESTAMENT OVERVIEW:

  1. Four Gospels (Matthew - John)
  2. Book of Acts
  3. Paul's Letters (Romans - Philemon)
  4. General Letters (Hebrews - Jude)
  5. Revelation

INTERPRETATIVE JOURNEY ("Journey Into God's Word" - Duvall & Hays):

  1. Grasping the Text in Their Town -- What did the text mean to the Biblical audience?
  2. Measure the Width of the River to Cross -- What are the differences between the Biblical audience and us today?
  3. Crossing the Principlizing Bridge -- What is the theological principle in this text?
  4. Grasping the Text in Our Town -- How should individual Christians today apply the theological principle in their life?

Try it out! Select a passage of Scripture and use the Interpretative Journey to guide your study. Then, send us an email to podcast@afreshwind.org and let us know what you're learning.

Have you ever read a book or passage of Scripture and a particular sentence, verse, or phrase seems to leap off the page? These sentences and verses have the potential to shape the trajectory of our life. This is never more true than when the verse is coming from God's Word, which is "alive and active" (Heb 4:12) and "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Tim 3:16).

On this episode, Pastors Tim and Ryan share their life verse and the impact it has made on their life. Are you ready to discover your life verse?

This January we took a hard look at the habits and systems we live by and asked ourselves the question, "Do I like the place my habits are taking me?" For many of us, the unfortunate answer is "no." The good news? By taking time to discover WHO God has called us to be, we can begin putting systems in place that lead us in an entirely new direction. This is so important because, as James Clear states, "You don't rise to level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems."

On this episode, Val discusses her "Who Goals" and how knowing who she is has allowed her to determine what to do as she pursues the life she was created for.

The holidays are quickly approaching, and while it might look different from what we're used to, many have already begun planning and preparing for whatever Thanksgiving and Christmas will look like for their family this year. We put a great deal of thought into the lights, the meal, the decorations, and this year--even the guest list. How many of us will put the same level of intentionality into cultivating a legacy this holiday season?

On this episode, Troy Dotson adapts principals from his "Growing a Legacy" seminar to show us how we can be intentional this holiday and cultivate memories that last a lifetime.

Developing a simple plan to cultivate a legacy:

  1. Catch a vision of what motivates you
  2. Have SMART Goals
    1. Spiritual
    2. Memorable
    3. Active
    4. Relatable
    5. Trust-building
  3. Make an action plan. Write it down & keep it simple.
  4. Put it on the calendar. Stick with it.

Share your story:

  1. Focus - Share significant moments when your life trajectory changed dramatically.
  2. Be honest about failures.
  3. Look towards the future.
  4. What impact did your family have?
  5. Include the Gospel - When and why did you become a follower of Christ? How has it changed you? No one can argue with your story.

As we look ahead to the future, one thing is remarkably clear -- as Christians, we must learn to keep in step with the Spirit. According to the Apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians, it is possible for us to live in the Spirit, and yet be out of step with the Spirit. If we are going to lead our everyday people to new life and new possibilities we need to do whatever it takes to make sure we keep in step with the Spirit.

5 Keys to Keeping in Step With the Spirit:

  1. The Spirit of God is real and required
  2. We are not victims
  3. Discipline does not equal legalism
  4. Quit dabbling with sin
  5. Christ in us is the hope of the world

This Saturday, October 31st, is widely known and celebrated as Halloween. Even during a global pandemic, children all across the country are still walking around neighborhoods searching for free candy. Yet, October 31st is celebrated around the world for another -- more significant reason -- the Protestant Reformation.

While many in the church have heard the name "Martin Luther," the father of the Protestant Reformation, most have little idea of who he really was and the significance of the revolution he helped to start. A quick dive into the history of this event will reveal that little in our world today can be understood apart from the Reformation.

If God could do all this through the obedience of one man, what could He do through your simple act of obedience?

George Gallup once stated that,  “Americans are among the loneliest people in the world.” This is despite the fact that most of us live in cities and neighborhoods, work for successful companies, and regularly attend large community, sports, and religious gatherings. We're acquainted with many, but known by few.

While Biblical community has been a bit of a buzzword in today’s church culture, we think that’s a good thing. We need to understand it. We need to embrace it. Most importantly, we need to experience it. Applying these building blocks of biblical community will help you foster deeper, more authentic community--a community that points the world to Jesus.

Building Blocks of Biblical Community

  1. Frequency
  2. Authenticity
  3. Mutuality
  4. Courtesy
  5. Sympathy
  6. Humility
  7. Honesty
  8. Mercy
  9. Confidentiality
  10. Unity

Disclaimer: We understand that extra precautions are needed during this time of a global pandemic. These precautions can make experiencing community much tougher. We encourage you to use wisdom and follow guidelines established by state and local health experts. When you can't meet safely in person, a phone call or video chat will go a long way in helping keep you connected.

Many secular voices in the media and politics are repeating the same talking-point or buzzphrase, "I believe in science." While this is a great declaration, it is also an accusation to suggest that many--especially those with a religious worldview--do not. On this episode, we are asking the question, "As Christians, are we at war with science?" To put it even more simply, do you believe in science?
