Playing the first 18ish minutes of John MacArthur's latest sermon clarifying his statements. Not damage control but calling it behavior and needing to deal with the source instead of just throwing medication at it and avoiding the whole thing.
John MacArthur blew up the internet again with his comments on mental illnesses and over medication. I want to clarify his comments and defend them. He wants to get at the root cause and not jut plaster over the symptoms. Them moving on to the united methodists and their now king gay people to pastor and be elders and gay gay gay!
A culture that is inspired by Christianity is better than having Christians in the culture. Not a quote but the point I think Richard was making. Shorter episode as the video I was going to do turned out to be a complete waste of time and energy.
Light hearted news, including a flam throwing robot dog!!!!!!! then climate news? and then good government news and then bad government news.
Concluding the "An evening of Eschatology" did get a little confusing but made it through. Really did enjoy the discussion. Then switching gears into abortion regarding Bill Maher, Trump and Kari Lake.
Getting into the meat of the discussion. Each view was given time to sketch out their view and start refuting the others. Did get a bit heated in the middle, in a good way.

Continuing on in this series, responding to questions 3-8. Some more of hi questions were worthless questions to ask. However, questions 6 and 8 were worth responding to. Will I cause a brother to stumble and will it go against my conscience. I do think another question would be good to ask, has drinking wine enslaved you? I think is also good to ask.
Pulling clips out of a three part sermon series that John MacArthur did about a year ago. He put out 8 questions to ask ourselves if a christian can drink or not. Think his stance here is legalistic, perhaps not completely but on line. Wanting to go through these and respond biblically to them.

A lot of their commentary was really good on this, but I think there were parts of their episode that was a bit weak and want to respond to that. Looking at a video making the rounds in Twitter, about how Paul preached a different gospel that Jesus did. Then looking at the Hebrew word "Yom" and defining it and looking at how it is being used in Genesis 1-2:4.

Interacting with a "Low You Know" video produced by the L.D.S. YouTube page about what they believe about the Bible. Reading passages from the Book of Mormon as well as articles from their own website, giving fuller context about their beliefs.
Reading a news article about the new California bill that would allow the "gender affirming" parent to have more consideration during custody battles. Then looking at UgoLord's YouTube page where he gives his own lawyer opinion on different videos.
Telling a personal story this week that I may or may not have done. It may or may not have been an accident. But maybe it was. Who knows for sure. maybe. Anyway, then playing a clip from the recent WWUTT podcast where Gabe and his wife answered my question. Talking about righteous deception and conscience issues.

Ruth Jensen-Forbell (on the positive side) on the question of how a bible believing people is to give an answer.

Then reading three abortion bills that promote the murder for any reason whatsoever babies both inside the womb and outside the womb. Sickening stuff. May God have mercy on them before it's to late and they are standing before Him with no mediator.

Thinking about the war between Russia and Ukrainian, I thought it would be a good idea to talk about war and what the Bible says about it. So didn't spend much time with it as I got bored with it.
Mark Silk a Professor of words apparently, thinks or since he is woke, "thinks" that we should call God they instead of he. Why? people's feewings will be hurt or something. I respond to two articles his first and then some of his response to the criticism he got. Both offer poor arguments, no exegesis on any level whatsoever. Just well, this word can mean this and some scholar thinks this, therefore they can work.

Well, Dictator for Oregon has made vaccine mandatory. Yeah. For government employees. yay. The FDA did approve the Pfizer vaccine. not on the basis on data but on political opinions. Todd Friel host of Wretched Radio and Wretched TV said the dumbest thing ever regarding submitting to the government. You read the title right.
yay, masks. (deep through the nose inhale) oh great. Moving on to interact with a Redeeming Truth: Living Your Christian Liberty. In this episode Costi Hinn is with two other guys talking about alcohol and how Christian liberty fit in with it. My main problem and I think a biblical one, is they never put alcohol in a positive light. They always put it in a negative light. the Bible doesn't do that. There is a positive and a negative light.
Biden for the third time that I am aware of, forgets how many people live in America. Concluding Link's Spiritual Deconstruction he is currently a hoping for a hopeful agnostic.

He tells a story of how he got drunk, afterwards he felt guilty and says that it was a mistake. As a professing christian at the time, why didn't he call it what it was a sin? That's basic Christianity 101.

These deconstruction videos are becoming more and more popular to make and I think we need a biblical response. They took part of Taylor Schumann's book, coming out later this year, about how she thinks that pro-gun christians are serving two masters. Jesus and our right to own a gun.
