Raising Funds for Bibles, One Verse at a Time

View Details

Currently, we're in a series that is based on a book that I wrote five years ago: Meeting God at Wits' End. The Hebrew meaning for "wits' end" refers to the swallowing up of all our own wisdom. When we don't know what to do, or even what to say, God is our only hope.

In today's episode, we're considering Ps. 62:1. When we're at Wits' End, nothing and no one will do but God alone. At those times, we have to wait for Him with hope and expectation, knowing that He is all-sufficient, more than able to save us out of or strengthen us amidst our trials and troubles.

Here's your free copy of the book:

"Hope in God: Overcoming Discouragement through God's Word and Spirit" is based on three similar statements, found in Psalm 42:5, 11, and 43:5, where we read:

"Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God."

These recordings are done in order to encourage you in your faith and walk with Jesus, especially when you are struggling with discouragement or what is referred to as spiritual depression.

No matter who you are or what you may be going through, there is genuine hope, a hope that outweighs everything you may face in this fallen world.

Additionally, these recordings are done in order to raise funds for Bibles for the persecuted church, desiring to encourage those who are suffering for their faith.

Here's how you can be a blessing: when you purchase the following $10.00 book deal, you will, in fact, provide one Bible to the persecuted church.

This book deal consists of 30 books on overcoming discouragement and spiritual depression, providing genuine comfort and hope amidst all your struggles, sorrows, and suffering.

In today's episode, we're considering Genesis 15:13, where God states to Abram that his offspring will be "afflicted for four hundred years." While it may be hard to fathom, this was part of God's will.

In today's episode, we're considering Deuteronomy 8:3, where God teaches us to solely live on His word, trusting that He will be faithful to His word, no matter what we may face or be going through. He teaches us that truth by allowing circumstances that are entirely beyond our ability.

In Matthew 4:17, Jesus said: ““Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” When Jesus started His ministry, His message was one of repentance, a turning back to our creator, including as the sole source of all that's right and pleasing to Him, which is the essence of the kingdom of heaven.
