Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4)
What does the Bible means when it says God repents? Obviously if God is repenting then the matter is very serious. When man repents it means he is changing his mind regarding sin, but we know God cannot sin so what is God or divine repentance looks like?

Who or what is the object of your faith? Is your faith real or false? What is the faith that saves the soul? That will be discussed in this episode.
To many, this is a mysterious group. Are they symbolic of the Church or are they literal human beings? Are they past, present or future group? Are they part of the Watchtower Society and the only ones that will dwell in heaven with Jesus Christ?
There are many that believe and teach that the gospel is open to private interpretation. In other words, one can make it say what they want it to say. That is why there are so many cults and false religions clamoring for acceptance and disciples. But what does the Bible have to say about itself, and what warnings does it give to those who teach a different gospel?
Are Christians to judge fellow believers or the world? Is there a time when we should not judge? If we judge others are we claiming that are better than they are since no one is perfect? Many people will cry out, "Do not judge me. The Bible says that we are not to judge!" - they say. Is that true? Listen in to gain some insight into this sensitive matter.
The Apostle Paul in Romans chapter three describes clearly what is justification by faith in Christ. For his readers - most likely primarily Jews, they misconstrued his message. Apparently, there were some that claimed that Paul was advocating that salvation gave people a license to sin and that in some strange way God would get the glory for it. Obviously, they did not understand his message. Stay tuned to find out what Paul was talking about.
Do we have a right to be mad at God because things do not go the way we want them to go? Is our misfortune God's fault? Is God "obligated" to do for us what we want? Is it good or bad to be laden with guilt? Is admitting your guilt to someone a sign of weakness or genuine humility? All of us suffer guilt on a regular basis. How we deal with it is the key to our emotional health and well being. Guilt makes us vulnerable and can cause us great fear. Is there a right and wrong way to face it?

God repenting? What a strange idea! Why would God need to repent when He is incapable of doing anything wrong? Why would the Bible even mention God repenting of evil? Hopefully, this podcast will answer the inquiring mind's questions on the matter.
To many, it seems weird to say that God hates anything. The fact of the matter is many places in scripture discuss the things and people that God abhors. But what love is so twisted that God would hate it? Tune in to discover what that love is.
There are those that say salvation can be lost or given up by the believer. Is this true? If it is, then Christ's atonement was not sufficient to save all who placed their trust in Him to save them. These verses on the surface appear to contradict each other. How do we harmonize these truths and keep them in their proper tension? This episode attempts to provide the answer.
What is this doctrine? Is it Biblical? Reprobation is the idea that God has rejected some sinners in eternity past to be judged by God. Unsure of what this means? Tune in to find out. In 1 Corinthians 7:10-16 there are passages where Paul says that he not the Lord is giving a command regarding marriage. From the reading of the text, it appears that Paul is simply sharing his own opinion on the matter which could lead some readers to believe that not all of scripture is divine. A most controversial question. One that will spark debate until the coming of our Lord. Did Jesus die for the sins of the world - meaning he died for all the sins of every person that will ever live, or did he die for just the elect? This is the sticking point between Calvinists and Arminians. Another way of asking the question is, "Is Christ atonement limited or unlimited?"
What do I mean when I ask this question? Is God subject to circumstance, chance, or fate? Do things happen for no reason at all? Some would believe that due to all the bad things that happen in our world that God does not exist or he is not powerful or caring enough to stop it.

Many in the Church believe there is a such a thing as a "heavenly language". It is used a way to "wage war" in the Spirit and also a way to build one's self up. Is this practice Biblical?

What is a temptation? Is it all bad? Does God tempt us in any way? How should we respond to these trying times in our lives? Is there any short or long time benefit?
The portraits, stain glass windows, and statues of a man who is supposed to be Jesus Christ. Are these things Biblical or are they idolatrous? Some have even said they have seen the face of Jesus in a tortilla! Really? How do we even know what Jesus looks like? Is he a white man with long hair, feminine features patting little kids on the head according to our greeting cards and paintings? That is the prevailing image all over the world of what he is supposed to look like right? This podcast may provide some interesting insights to some listeners.
The Prophet in the OT and NT was the mouthpiece of God. They foretold of events that were yet future. Do we need a prophetic predictive word today, or did that ministerial office fade away when the scripture was completed at the end of the first century?

The atonement is the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross so that those who believe in this vicarious act of love by the Son would receive forgiveness of all their sins and be granted eternal life. The big debate regarding the atonement discussed among evangelicals is this: "Is the atonement unlimited or limited or is it both?" This podcast attempts to answer those questions.

The doctrine of election is a teaching that some in the Church has admitted to hating. Why? Because many believe that God is being unfair if He is choosing some by passing over others. Whether one loves or hates the doctrine, it is an inescapable doctrine in scripture. It is also critical that a person knows they are among the chosen of God. Otherwise, they cannot have the assurance of their salvation.
Is true happiness we all seek obtainable in this life? Or is joy merely a feeling that comes and goes based on emotion? How does the Bible describe true joy?
The 5th and final point regarding the five points of Arminianism. This is the most controversial because it deals with a person's eternal destiny. There are many in the evangelical world that believe salvation can be lost. The question has to be asked, "If salvation can be lost did you ever have it in the first place?"
Can God's grace be resisted? There are many that would say yes. Others would say no. If God's grace cannot be resisted, is it a violation of our wills? Or does God have to overcome our wills and pour his love into us in such a powerful way so that his grace becomes too irresistible for us reject?
This doctrine teaches that when Jesus died, he paid the price for all sins for all people that will ever live. If this is true, then he knowingly shed his blood for those he knew would never believe in him and perish to pay the penalty for their own sins in hell. The question then must be asked, "What good is the atonement for those to whom it will never be applied?"

Jesus commanded us that if our hand or eye causes us to sin to cut it off (our hand), or pluck it out (our eye) and cast them away from us so that they do not cause us to perish. Conditional election is the belief that looks down the corridor of time to see what man will do regarding the gospel. And based on what God foresees in man before he is born, decides to choose him for salvation. In other words, God's choosing of man is conditional or contingent upon what man will do first.
What is the phenomenon called slain in the spirit? Who are the main advocates of it? Are there examples of this practice in the Bible? Are people getting healed of Aids or Cancer by these so called faith healers? Or is this display a way to mock and caricature those in the Church as buffoons and lunatics? What does partial depravity mean? Some believe it means that man is corrupt, but he has some vestige of goodness and virtue that he can incline himself to believe in the gospel without divine intervention. In other words, man is bad, but deep down there is a reservoir of goodness in him to come to saving faith on his own.
How should we view the tragedy that has occurred in Houston, TX with Hurricane Harvey? Could God have prevented it? If so, why didn't he?

How many baptisms are there in scripture? What is the significance of water baptism and does it save us? This episode will discuss what baptism means and which one saves us.
This is the 5th point in the 5 points of Calvinism. Theologians teach that this doctrine means that who God saves, he will give them the ability to remain faithful to him throughout their life as a believer. Although our faith will be tested mightily, in the end, we will endure. Some call this eternal security.

The blessed promise to all believers when they die physically. We will all be made immortal, no longer subject to death and corruption.
This is the second letter in the acrostic "TULIP"; dealing with the five point of Calvinism - also commonly called the Doctrines of Grace. As an fyi, John Calvin (1509-1564) did not come with these five points. They were invented after his death.

Was there a difference in the requirements for saints in the Old Testament vs those in the New Testament regarding salvation and/or justification? How were OT saints saved if they could not believe in Christ since he had not come and died during their lives? (Originally recorded March 22nd, 2017).
Does sanctification mean one can be sinless? Is sanctification something God does alone, or does the believer participate? How is sanctification different from justification? Is it progressive - can we increase in sanctification?
What did Jesus mean when He told Nicodemus, "You must be born again". Does the new birth precede faith, or is it the other way around?
Why did God choose Israel over the other existing nations during that time in Biblical history? Was there something more attractive about them that compelled God to choose them as His elect people? Has God abandoned them due to their persistent disobedience and replaced them with the Church? Does Israel figure into future events and the end of time?
The Holy Spirit is often caricatured as something that makes someone do strange things in a worship service. Is the Holy Spirit a force, or something we can catch? Or is the Holy Spirit a ghost or a feeling that comes over us when we are happy and then leaves? The Bible provides the answers we need. (Originally recorded April 7th, 2017).
This belief system was developed in the late 4th and early 5th centuries of Church history. It was invented by a monk by the name of Pelagius - contemporary and an opponent of Augustine. He taught that the sin of Adam and Eve did not affect the rest of the human race. In other words, man was not born with a sinful nature.
Many read the verse in Isaiah 53:5 and conclude that the writer is referencing physical healing. Some would even go as far to say that we can "claim" divine health in this life. Is this true? Can we live a life free of sickness in this life of sin, or did Isaiah mean something else? (Originally recorded Sunday, March 19th, 2017).
There are I would imagine many that believe suicide is a one-way ticket to hell even for a Christian. Can suicide actually void salvation? Is it that powerful? Tune in to find out.
What we utter out of our mouths reveals what is in our hearts. Jesus said, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks! (Matt 12:34)". So, what are you talking about? The words we speak reveal our inner character.
What should be our attitude toward believers who fall into sin? Should we shun them or try to help them? What if they refuse to repent of their sin after they have been lovingly confronted about it? The Word of God is the exclusive truth. It can never be relative, ever. If Jesus is not the only way to salvation, then He lied. God has given man a free will to choose what he wants. But, when it comes to salvation, who chooses whom? Does man have the ability on his own to choose God and God chooses him? Or, does God have to choose whom He wants first and man chooses God? Is God proactive or reactive in choosing man for salvation?
We have all heard the phrase, "Well sin is sin!" We say that because we believe that all sin is the same and that there will be the same level of punishment for sin in the judgment. What did Jesus have to say about it?
When our loved ones in Christ precede us in glory, what are they doing? Many people believe they are looking down and protecting us from heaven. While the thought is a nice sentiment, can it be supported by scripture?
Jesus said, "What profits a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?" Sadly, countless souls are lost because they refuse to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. You have all heard the phrase, "I am the captain of my soul. I am the ruler of my fate!" Many say this because they believe they can create their own destiny. So, where is your destiny leading you to? There is very little that we as human beings can control. The only thing we can control is ourselves, and many fail to do even that. Jacob and Esau serve as archetypes in God's divine choice of everyone who will ever live. In what way you may ask? Paul explains to us in Romans 9 why this is so.
These two words have taken a life of their own in the Church. What do they mean? Do we have the power to bind the devil and demons in Jesus' name? What does loosing the angels mean? Admittedly some bizarre teachings have developed over these two words in scripture. What did Jesus mean when he spoke these words?

The above verse said that God desires that no one perish, but that all come to repentance. Who are the "all" in this verse? Is it referring to all people indiscriminately, or are the "all" described here are the all in some limited sense? Understanding the context this verse is in is critical to the meaning of it.
Should a Christian attend a Mosque, a Kingdom Hall or Synagogue? What about a wedding or dinner of someone of a different faith?
Seems like a rhetorical question? The answer to this question may surprise some of you. It is important that we know where our enemy resides.
What is the basis of God's calling of sinners into his kingdom? Is it based on foresight or foreknowledge? Does God choose us after we have chosen him first? Does he choose us in time or before time? Is God's election conditional or unconditional?
Is God's choice of us conditional? Many believe God is partial. Many in Jesus' day believed God favored the rich because they had wealth and were blessed as a result. What about salvation? What motivates God to choose whom He chooses? Is it man, or is it God Himself?
Can one say they have true saving faith if there are no works to support that faith? Do Ephesians 2:8-9 contradict James 2:14-26? On the surface, they appear to but they do not. Listen to find out why.
When we break natural law, we are justly penalized. What happens if we break God's laws? What is the punishment for such an offense?

A controversial subject to say the least. Many in the church see no problem with women serving as Pastors. Is it chauvinistic to say that women should not serve in this role? What if they believe they have been called by God to that office? What does the Bible have to say about it?
