In this episode, we’re exploring how to fervently pray for the unsaved, inspired by wisdom from the late Pastor Ron Dunn and insights from J. Sidlow Baxter. We uncover the unassailable strength of prayer against spiritual blindness and bondage, as described in II Corinthians and II Timothy, emphasizing that no defenses can withstand the persistent petitions of the faithful. We recount how, in the Book of Acts, prayer played a crucial role in countless conversions, from 3,000 souls in Acts 2 to the jailer and his family in Acts 16.

Join Wingman Nation co-founder, Pastor Jay Dennis, and Wingman Director of Operations, John Delaney, as they guide you through specific principles for praying for the unsaved, rooted in the belief that every person is destined for salvation.

They discuss the spiritual afflictions of those who are lost: their blindness to the truth and their bondage to the adversary, citing II Corinthians and Ephesians. And we affirm that we pray from a place of victory, invoking the power of Jesus' name and blood, as mentioned in I John.

Ah, the eternal bond between man and his tools! It's like we're hardwired for it, a genetic predisposition passed down through the ages. You'd sooner find a unicorn in your backyard than a man who doesn't get a kick out of a good tool—though if you do, you might want to consider booking him a session or two of "tool appreciation therapy." But hey, all in good jest, right?

Picture this: while some folks might see a simple tool as just a means to tighten a bolt or bang in a nail, for us, it's like holding the scepter of creation itself. There's something about wielding a hammer or wrench that makes us feel like masters of our domain. And just as these physical tools empower us in the tangible world, there's a whole other set of tools out there designed to help us level up in the game of life—especially in our roles as devout disciples.

Imagine cracking open a toolbox not filled with just your regular old nuts and bolts, but with nuggets of wisdom and bits of guidance. Each tool in there isn't just about fixing stuff; it's about fine-tuning your character, nurturing your faith, and strengthening those bonds with your loved ones. So, who needs a spanner when you've got the secrets to spiritual DIY tucked away in your metaphorical tool belt?

Join Wingman Nation's co-founders, Pastor Jay Dennis and Randy Ferreira, alongside Wingman Men's Moment producer, John Delaney, as they skillfully wield analogies with these spiritual tools in this second installment of "It's Tool Time." Through their insights, you'll gain a profound understanding of how to hone your spiritual growth, equipping yourself to navigate the challenges of life with grace, integrity, and unwavering faith.

So, let's roll up our sleeves, grab our spiritual toolkits, and embark on this transformative journey together.

Men have an innate affinity for tools; it's practically encoded in our DNA. To find a man who doesn't appreciate the utility of a good tool is a rarity indeed, perhaps even warranting a jest about counseling. But of course, that's all in good humor.

At its core, a tool is a simple yet invaluable device designed to aid in building or repairing something. And just as a hammer or a wrench can empower us in the physical realm, there exist tools tailored to help us grow in our spiritual journey as men—tools that can enhance our roles as husbands, fathers, and followers of Christ.

Imagine delving into a toolkit filled not with nuts and bolts, but with wisdom and guidance, where each tool serves to strengthen your character, deepen your faith, and enrich your relationships.

Join Wingman Nation's co-founders, Pastor Jay Dennis and Randy Ferreira, alongside Wingman Men's Moment producer, John Delaney, as they skillfully wield analogies with these spiritual tools. Through their insights, you'll gain a profound understanding of how to hone your spiritual growth, equipping yourself to navigate the challenges of life with grace, integrity, and unwavering faith.

Merry Christmas!

Today, we want to concentrate on the most important part of the Christmas story. Remove this and you don’t have a Christmas story. Remove this and you don’t have the miracles. Remove this and you don’t have Good Friday. Remove this and you don’t have Easter. Remove this and you don’t have a Bible.

The foundation of the Christian faith hinges on the fact of the Virgin Birth. Take away the Virgin Birth and you destroy Christianity. One theologian said, “Next to the resurrection, the most debated and controversial event of Jesus’ life is the virgin birth.”

Join Wingman Nation co-founders, Pastor Jay Dennis and Randy Ferreira, along with Wingman Men's Moment producer, John Delaney, as they discuss why the virgin birth defines history.

Outside of the name Jesus, my favorite name for God in the flesh is the name Immanuel, which means “God with us.” If we can ever grasp the reality of that, it will transform our lives. That name tells us incredible things about the character of our God. When we couldn’t come to Him, He came to us through the process of a normal birth. -Pastor Jay Dennis

The Shepherds and the Angels

And in the same region, there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

David's mighty men were adept at using a large shield and spear. They were trained on using their weapons. In the New Testament, Paul tells us that as part of our spiritual armor, we have a shield, the shield of faith with which each of us can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. See 1 Chronicles 12:8.

This week is the final episode in the "Husband Blessing" series. This weeks episode is called "You Can't Depend on Your Husband for Your Happiness."

Your husband wants you to be happy, but that is not his job. Nothing in Scripture teaches that it’s his responsibility to ensure your happiness. That is between you and God. The issue of expectations in marriage is important to address. Although you can experience amazing happiness in marriage, you cannot depend upon your husband, or any other human being, to bring you happiness. Marriage is an exercise in pursuing holiness, not seeking happiness.

Join Wingman Nation Director of Operations, John Delaney, along with Wingman Nation co-founders, Randy Ferreira and Pastor Jay Dennis as they look at Proverbs 28:7 and discuss the pursuit of holiness versus the seeking of happiness.
