We all do things that we don't want to do. We say things we don't want to say. We act in ways that we don't want to act. Why? Why did I say that? Why did I do that? Why did I act that way? How can we start to be who we want to be? How do we break free when we feel trapped?

This week marks the fifth of our “Summer Together” series. If you haven’t been following us so far, we encourage you to revisit some of our previous messages. Today’s message centers around the importance of community and how biblical community strengthens our walk as Christians. Having a community that can remind us of biblical truth is essential to our growth and spurs us to be more like Jesus.
Welcome back to the fourth week of Summer Together. Pastor Scott is back with us today, sharing a message centered around a well-known verse, Jeremiah 29:11. Sometimes, our plans don’t align with what God has in store for us. However, we can rest assured that God will always ensure that our plans lead us to a life that brings glory to Him, not just to ourselves.
Welcome back to the third week of “Summer Together.” Today, we welcome another special guest who brings a message of hope and perseverance. One of our overseers at Ridge, Pastor Rhett Barden, discusses the crucial battle for our minds that we face constantly. As Christians, we have the power of the Word of God to equip us for victory in this war.
Welcome back to week two of Summer Together. Today, we have a special message from our Next-Generation Pastor, Jared Stouffer. Pastor Jared examines the life of Joseph as recounted in the Book of Genesis. Joseph’s life provides a clear illustration of how to cultivate patience and place our trust in God’s plan above our own desires.
This week we kick off our “Summer Together” series. In this first message the focus is on one question: ‘Do I have to?’ Pastor Scott is asking this question specifically about tithing. Follow along as we look at what the Bible has to say about tithing and generosity.
This week concludes our “Step Out” series. Today’s message centers around Luke 18:1-8 and the parable of the persistent widow. This parable emphasizes the significance of continuous prayer and the importance of not giving up on our prayers and pursuit of God. God urges us to persistently pray to Him so that we may align ourselves with His will and purpose for our lives.
Welcome back to week 3 of our "Step Out" series. Today we look at how to take a next step, even when we don't feel like we have what it takes to take that step. In 2 Kings 4 we see a mother/widow bring what she has, even though it it seemed like it wasn't enough, and God do something incredible.
Welcome back to week 2 of our “Step Out” series. Today, we delve deeper into the concept of stepping out in faith within our relationship with Jesus. Taking a look at the story of Daniel 3, we witness the unwavering faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Faced with a daunting choice, they were compelled to decide between their unshakable faith in God and a false god.
This week, we launch an exciting new series titled “Step Out.” This first message delves into the faith necessary when we choose to leave behind a life of sin and embrace a life centered around Jesus. Our primary focus should be on Jesus, and we should daily place our trust in Him. By doing so, we will experience a transformative change in our lives, as Jesus sanctifies us, enabling us to become more like our Savior.
Happy Easter Ridge family! Today, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In today’s message, Pastor Scott poses a simple yet profound question to us: if the resurrection is indeed true, what will we do with Jesus? The choice is ours—to reject, neglect, or accept Jesus.
We are already in the sixth week of our series exploring the incredible miracles performed by Jesus during His ministry. Today, we will delve into the book of John, taking an in-depth look of Jesus’ remarkable resurrection of Lazarus from the dead.
Here we are in the fifth week of our study of Jesus’ miracles during His earthly ministry. Today, we are in the book of Mark, where Jesus demonstrates His divinity by calming a storm before the disciples. Like other miracles we have examined, this miracle reminds us of two essential truths: God is in control and God is with us. We pray that you will take these truths and allow them to deepen your relationship with God.
This sermon, the fourth in our series on Jesus’ miracles during his Earthly ministry, delves into Mark 5. We focus on a story about a demon-possessed man. Jesus frees this man, enabling him to return home and share his miraculous experience with his community. The profound message here is that Jesus extends the same grace to us, empowering us to testify about all He has done for us.
This week we continue in our current series studying the miracles of Jesus. Today's message centers on a very well known miracle in which Jesus feeds the 5,000 with just two fish and five loaves of bread. If we humbly bring our needs to Jesus, he will provide for us, just as he did for those who witnessed his miracles. Bring whatever you have, and let Jesus take care of the rest.
This week, we continue in our “All Things Possible” series, exploring the Miracles of Jesus. Today, we focus on the significance of receiving instruction and placing trust in those who guide us. By entrusting our faith in Jesus and following His teachings, we can undergo a transformative process, becoming more like Him.
This week, we kick off an exciting new series titled “All Things Possible,” where we delve into the miracles of Jesus' life on Earth. In the gospel of Matthew, we encounter a story of two blind men whose sight is miraculously restored by the hands of Jesus. This event is a testament to the profound impact of faith in Jesus’ power to heal and restore.
Today, we usher in a new season at Ridge Church as we welcome back Pastor Scott Lawrence as our new lead Pastor. Pastor Trip isn't going anywhere but he is passing the torch of Lead Pastor on to Scott. We are excited and expectant for all God is going to do in this next season for Ridge Church. We would love to have you come along side us and be apart of all that God is doing through Ridge.
This sermon is week number 3 in our "Family Matters" series. In today's message we spotlight what the Bible teaches about marriage. The Bible gives very clear instructions on how husbands and wives are to treat one another. And we take a look at that passage starting in Ephesians 5:22. We hope and pray this message encourages you in your marriage and relationships with others.
Here we are in week 2 of our current series “Family Matters.” We hope last week laid the foundation for a biblical view of family here on earth. This week we hear from Pastor Jared, our family pastor. And this message has a focus on Generation Alpha and some practical ways we can lead them into a relationship with Christ. We urge you to pray for the generation behind you and ask God to give them a desire for Him.
This sermon marks week 1 of a series we're calling "Family Matters." In this first message, Pastor Trip takes a look at what the Bible has to say about Family. We take a look at multiple passages that address the idea of what family is like while on this earth.
Welcome back to the Ridge Church Audio Podcast! Today we wrap up our current series, "A Year Of Yes." This series has been about choosing to say yes, not just to what we want, but to God's will for our lives. Today's messsage addresses what scripture calls us to do when it feels like saying yes to God is the hardest choice to make.
Welcome back to week four of our current series, "A Year Of Yes." This series is all about saying yes to the right things like saying yes to a relationship with Jesus and fully surrendering to Him. This week we talk about what we really "want" and how the default want of our heart is contrary to what God wants. We can see that in James 4:1-3. We pray this message encourages you to say yes to what God wants for your life and not what the world wants you to want.
Welcome back to week 3 of our "A Year Of Yes" Series. This message is all about saying yes to resting and sabbath in order to glorify God. Our world and culture tends to promote non-stop work and very little intentionally rest. We pray this message helps you take steps to find rest in God and say yes to doing less. God will bless you for it!
Today, we continue in our series "A Year Of Yes." Our focus today is the body of Christ. The church is the body of Christ and it's as clear a picture as we will ever get to seeing and understanding the Father. As we get deeper into the new year, it's important we don't let life change and seasons of transition cause us to drift away from the body of Christ.
We kick off the new year with a brand new series titled "A Year Of Yes." Our series begins with a look at Proverbs 3:1-18, and 21-26. These verses lay the foundation for the first 3 decisions we need to make this year. Our hope is for this message to be an encouragement for you in your walk with Christ.
This message marks week 4 in our "King's Table" series. We hope and pray this series has helped you in whatever season of life God has you in. And we hope it has helped you to see we all have a seat at God's table when we surrender to Him. This week Pastor Trip reminds us as Christians to use our seat at the table to love others as Jesus did during his minstry on earth. Our seat at God's table is not just for our own benefit.
Toady we hear the 3rd message in our "King's Table" series. Pastor Trip discusses the biblical principle of tithing and how God will belss us if we do so faithfully. Not earthly blessings but, heavenly treasures will be stored up for us when we give to God joyfully. We ask you to prayerfully consider how God has called you to invest in His kingdom with what he has generuosly given to you.
This message is the second in our "King's Table" series. We continue to consider how we are saved by God's grace and nothing we've done on our own. Our world believes that we must be great in this life by our own self detemination. But, that sort of pursuit won't fufill us. We will only find greatness when we accept God's grace and surrender our life to God's will.
This week we take a pause from our "King's Table" series to clebrate baptisms. Today 16 people were baptized from at Ridge Church. Baptism is not what saves us but, it is an important step in our faith Journey. We practice baptism because Jesus model it for us. Baptism is an outward decleration of an inward heart change.
Welcome to week one of a brand new series we're calling "The King's Table." This series will carry us through the Christmas Season. This week Pastor Trip discusses how we all have a place on God's table through His grace he has poured out on us. Prayefully consider how God has graciously given you a seat at His table for eternity.
Welcome back to Ridge Church! This week, Pastor Will Sanders from Redland Hills will be talking about the importance of inviting others to church. Christ uses us to invite others, so they can hear the good news of the Gospel.
Today we wrap up our series, "This Great Adventure." We cap it off by taking a brief look at the story of Jesus' birth. Throughout this whole series, our focus has been on trusting God. And we see that theme appear again here. As we close out this series, we hope and pray that it has impacted your walk with God and helped your trust him more. Tune in next week as we hear from Pastor Jared, our family pastor.
This week marks 5 weeks in our current series, "This Great Adventure." We are honored to Pastor Scott Lawrence from Keys Church in Florida bringing the message this week. He picks up where Pastor Trip left off, so follow along as we look at the story of David in the Bible.
Welcome back to week 4 of "This Great Adventure." We continue with our zoomed out view of God's story told throughout the Bible. You can follow along this week in the book of Ruth. We begin with Ruth 1:1-2. We hope this series continues to help you have a better understanding of why we read the Bible.
This is week 3 in our current series, "This Great Adventure." This series has centered on the theme of trust. Trusting God is the beginning of a relationship with God. We pick up this week with the story of Jacob and Esau and how God called them to trust his plans for their lives.
Welcome back to week 2 of "This Great Adventure." Last week we discussed the fall of man and how our relationship with God was broken in the Garden of Eden. We decided that we didn't trust God. We pick up this week with the life of Abraham and what God did through his life.
We start a brand new series in our brand new church building. This series is titled "This Great Adventure." This first week is centered on the Creation story and what happened in the Garden of Eden.
This week is the last in our "Summer Together" series. We hear from a special guest, Rhett Barden. Pastor Rhett shares insight on a question many Christians probably have had before. As we get into God's word, we pray for deeper knowledge of Him and His will to become clear.
We are already in week 5 of our "Summer Together" series. This week, Pastor Trip taks us through Hebrews 6:13-20. In this passsage we are reminded of the hope we have in Jesus. Life will alway bring us trials and tribulation. But, we can persevere through those when Jesus is our Anchor.
Welcome back to week 4 of Summer Together! If you've been following along this summer, we hope these messages have been helpful and you've grown in your knowlege of God. This week Pastor Trip and has one question for us. "What are you feeding?"
This message is the 3rd in our Summer Together Series. We hear from a special guest, Jeff Centers. Follow along as Jeff discusses God's chain of redemption.
Welcome back to week 2 of Summer Together. We hope and pray this season gives you oppurtunities to grow closer to God and a body of believers. This week's message centers on building kingdom vision in order to live in God's will.
This week we take a break from our regular series and hear a message from our Jared Stouffer, our Family Pastor. Follow along in Ephesians 7:14-19 where we are instructed to dwell in the love of Christ. We hope and pray that this message strenghtens your walk with Christ.
Welcome to the final sermon in our "Heart Smart" series. As we've been looking at heart issues, today we look at our sinful nature to be selfish. Jesus teaches that we must be self-less if we are to be apart of His kingdom.
Welcome back to week four of our "Heart Smart" series. This week, we continue looking at heart issues that cause us to stumble as Christians. Follow along as we look to what the Bible says about envy and Jealousy.
Welcome back to week 3 of "Heart Smart." We hope and pray this series has helped you walk with Christ and given you a better understanding of your heart and the Bible. Follow along this week as Pastor Trip gives practical application on redirecting from the world to God.
Welcome back to week two of "Heart Smart." We hope and pray the first week laid a foundation for the Bible's teachings about the human heart. This week we look at pride. We are all prideful by our very nature. But, what does the Bible say about pride? Follow along to gain a greater understanding of pride.
Welcome to the Ridge Church audio podcast. This sermon marks week one in a series called "Heart Smart." In this series, Pastor Trip dives into the biblical view of the human heart. Not the physical beating heart but, the heart that drives our passions and moves us as humans. The world would have us trust our heart and follow it. But, the bible tells us something different. Follow along to have a biblical understanding of your heart.
This sermon is the final one in our "Savior For All" series. We hope and pray this series has benefitted your faith walk with Jesus. In this message, Pastor Trips teaches the Biblical principle that the Holy Spirit and Jesus intercede on our behalf. They are both praying on our behalf and acting as our faith agent.
Happy Easter Ridge Church and those tuning in for the first time! In this message, Pastor Trip talks about why so many people missed Jesus while he was on Earth. They misunderstood why Jesus came to Earth in the first place. Many people listening to this may be in the same place as those people. Don't miss your chance to know Jesus and follow Him.
This message is part 13 of our "Savior For All" series. If you've made it this far, we are glad to have you with us. This week also is Palm Sunday, the Sunday before we celebrate Easter. Follow along as Pastor Trip discusses the New Covenant Jesus established.
This week marks 12 in our current series "A Savior For All." This week is all about the parable of the talents. If you haven't heard this parable, follow along as the parable gives biblical instruction on how to steward the gifts God has given us faithfully.
This is part 11 of our "Savior For All" Series. This week, we hear from Pastor Jared, our Family Pastor. We continue in the book of Luke and consider those who are lost and separate from God. We pray for those who have not come to have a relationship with our heavenly Father. We hope this message gives you peace and comfort about those who are not saved.
So often we find ourselves using the phrase, 'dying for...' and you can fill in the blank. In today's message, Pastor Trip asks, "Are you dying to live?" The Bible teaches that if you are saved then you are dead to sin. But, so often we don't live that way. We are called to live by faith and trust our sins have been forgiven through Christ's blood on the cross.
This week marks week 9 of our current series. In this message we walk through Luke 12 and particulary look at what Jesus has to say about earthly possessions and material weath. Many people lose their faith because they become so worried and preoccupied with gaining weath. We pray this message would help in having biblical view of possessions and how to steward what God has given us.
Welcome back to week 8 of our "Savior For All" series. We hope and pray God has used this series and His word to make an impact on your life. This week, we take a look at God's mercy on those who have sinned against him. As you go throughout your week, remember God's mercy for you and those around you.
In this weeks message we take look at the upside down nature of the Kingdom of God. The kingdom of God calls us to deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. The world and modern culture tells us to love oursleves and live only for ourselves. As Christians we should willing choose to put others before ourself.
This message already marks weeks 6 of our current series walking through the book of Luke. In this message we take an in depth look at one of Jesus' parables - the parable of the sower. We hope this helps you better understand this parable and we are so thankful to have you listening it.
This week we find ourselves in week 5 of our current series. Follow along as we walk through Luke 5:17-32 and gain insight as to who Jesus ministered to.
This message marks 4 weeks in our "Savior For All" series. Continue to follow along with us as we look at Luke 3:1-4:12 and gain insight on how Jesus dealt with temptaiton in His own life.
This week is part two of a series we began on Christmas Eve. This is a 14 week series called "A Savior For All" and it will carry us all the way to Easter. During this series we will be walking through the book of Luke and our hope is to walk away with a greater knowledge and understanding of our Savior Jesus.
This week we continue or "Savior For all" Series. We take a look at Luke 2:39-52. This passage of scripture emphasizes the importance of submission to God. We have to submit our will so we can follow and live by God's will. Submission is a daily practice that will lead to spiritual growth.
This message right here kicked off our current series "A Savior For All." Delivered on Christmas Eve night, Pastor Trip led us through the birth of our savior and set the foundation for the coming weeks. We pray you would come back weekly ready to dive deeper into God's word with us.
In this message we get to hear a special sermon from Pastor Jared, our family Pastor. In America, consumerism is a big part of the culture and lifestyle around us. The true reson we celebrate Chrismtas tends to get overlooked becuase of said consumerism. We hope and pray that this message helps you to reflect and examine how you celebrate Christmas.
This message is the second in our "Will it Chirstmas?" series. This weeks message will tap into our unconcious expectations that we place on others. Rather than creating and having unrealistic expectations for other people, our focus needs to shift to our saviour Jesus. Only Jesus can provide what we need and our expectations for others will never be met the way we want them to.
This week we kick off the month of December with our brand new Christmas series "Will it Christmas?" In our fallen world and especially in our American culture, Christmas has become more about material and superficial things than the birth of our risen savior. This series will focus on eliminating those things that draw our eyes away from the true meaning of Christmas. It's important we celebrate Christmas for the right reasons and not by the worlds standard.
This week we end our series "Jesus Is Enough." Follow along as Pastor Trip gives practical steps on sharing your faith with those who are outside of the faith. We pray that this walk through Paul's letter to the Colossians has benefitted you in your spiritual walk with the Lord. Check back next week as we get ready for Christmas with a brand new series.
In Week 4 of our series "Jesus Is Enough," we continue our study of Colossians and turn our focus towards the transforming work of Christ in a believer's life. Our salvation and acceptance of Christ as our savior is a moment in life, but sanctification happens over a lifetime. Follow along as God's word provides practical instruction on how to live a transformed life.
This week we continue to look at the book of Colossians and the sufficency of Christ. His work on the Cross is the only reason we are able to be in relationship with Him. In this sermon Pastor Trip focuses on verses 6-23 in which Paul commands the Church to make Jesus their Lord. We can accept him as our savior but not as our Lord. We pray for God to help you in accepting Jesus as the Lord of your life and follow His lead over your life.
Continuing our series from last week - Jesus Is Enough. We dig even deeper into the book of Colossians and look at the rich theology found in Paul's letter to the church. The bottom line continues to be Jesus is enough and it is only through Him that we have been reconciled.
This sermon is the first in our most recent series, "Jesus Is Enough." In this series, we'll walk through the book of Colossians and gain a better understanding of Paul's letter to the Church. Our prayer for this series is for you to walk away knowing that Jesus is Enough. Only through Jesus and his perfect work on the cross can we be reconciled to Him.
This week we hear from Jared Stouffer - our Family Pastor. the Bible teaches us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom. We're reminded of the brevity of life here on earth. That's why it's so important we use our time wisely to invest in the next generation. We pray this message provides Godly wisdom and practical next steps for your life.
This week we continue our family centric series Red + Yellow = Orange. As Christians we all have a responsibility to lead the next generation towards christ and His kingdom. Follow along in Titus 2:1-7 as Pastor Trip provides practical and Biblical ways to lead the next generation.
This is the start of a brand new family centered series we are calling Red + Yellow. In this series Pastor Trip and our family Pastor will dive deep into our strategy as a church to pour into the younger generation. We hope and pray this message and series is insightful and helpful for you and your family.
This Sunday we celebrate 10 years of Ridge Church! A whole decade! We are so thankful for all that God has done in and through Ridge over the past ten years. As we reflect on what we have learned, we also look forward and fix our eyes on what's ahead for our Church.
This week Pastor Trip teaches the importance of responding to circumstances and trials in a Godly way. As Christians, we know we will face difficulties of various kinds that we have very little control over. The one thing, we can control is how we respond to those difficulties and we can pray for God to help us respond in a biblical way.
Follow along this week as Pastor Trip discusses transitions in life. Of course, there are the transitions we prepare for like getting married, going to college, or starting a new job. But, there are many transitions or seasons of change that come unexpectedly. What can the Bible teach about how to handle unexpected change? Take a listen to find out.
This week we hear from an exceptional guest, Rhett Borden. With our small group semester launching this week, his message couldn't have come at a better time. Follow along as Pastor Rhett lays out God's design for us to do life together.
If you are interested in joining a group this semester head over to https://ridgechurch.com/small-groups/
There you can look through our entire group directory and find a group that suits you best. You can even contact the group leader to ask any questions. We pray that God will provide you a life-giving community this upcoming season.
This week we finish out the "Pursuing The Way" series. And we end by focusing on our mission as Christians - making disciples. Pastor Trips lays out practical ideas to help in the pursuit of making disciples.
This week we continue our series "Pursuing The Way" with Pastor Trip preaching on obedience. A lot of times Christians can struggle with the idea of obedience. We think that obedience is a requirement of salvation. When in reality obedience is a reflection of our faith in God. Follow along as Pastor Trip dives deeper into this idea.
This week we start a new series titled "Pursuing The Way" and we have Pastor Leroy leading us off in week one. His message centers around Luke 9:23 and Jesus message to all of us who to desire to follow him. Jesus has given us the way we are to follow him and it's up to us to pursue it. Follow along as Pastor Leroy reveals how we are to deny ourselves and take up our cross daily.
This week, Pastor Leroy discusses his recent trip to Brazil to help build a church with one of our ministry partners. Missions work is how we live out being the hands and feet of Jesus. Not everyone can travel to a different country. But the Bible reminds us there work is to be done right within our local church. We pray this message will encourage you to get involved this summer within the local church.
Happy Memorial Day to you and your family! We hope and pray you are able to spend this day remembering what others have done for us to live in freedom and worship our God freely. In this sermon we hear from Pastor Trip and we dig into our tendency as fallen humans to compare ourselves to others. When, actually we should be looking to Jesus and asking ourselves how we can become more like him.
In week 4 of our series House Of Cards, we hear from Pastor Trip about another characteristic of the Christian faith. We look at the idea of righteousness and that the world is looking at us as Christians and the way we carry ourselves. One of the things we always miss as Christians is that righteousness is always relational. Our righteousness comes from our relationship with Jesus and doesn't stem from our own right works or what we might think makes us righteous.
As Christians, we believe that the Bible is God's divine word and has all authority over our lives. We believe that it is inerrant and God-breathed. At least, we say we believe those things about the Bible. But, do we actually live our lives like those things are true? Do we live under the authority of scripture? In today's message, Pastor Leroy challenges you to think about such things. We pray this message reminds you of the authority and power of God's word.
This week we continue our series House of Cards. This week Pastor Trip is discussing the topic of Unity as it concerns the church. We all see the division around us whether in culture, education, entertainment, or even churches. Now more than ever, it's essential that Christians be united on the foundations of our faith. We pray this message encourages you in your walk with God and strengthens your faith.
This is week 3 of our annual "I Believe" series. This week we continue to look at the book of Romans and we also take a look at the book of Colossians. Essentially the title of the message gives away the main point. We are a work in progress to look more and more like Jesus, also know as sanctification. Each day we are being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. It happens by surrending ourselves and our will to the Father and allowing him to transform us to be more like his son. We hope and pray that this message gives you a better understaind of the Christian faith.
This week we continue our annual "I Believe" series. We are still in the book of Romans and Pastor Trip is helping us understand what Grace actually accomplishes. We are redeemed and sin no longer has control over us. We are still sinners in a fallen world and we will be until Christ returns. But, while on earth we can have victory over sin if we choose Christ daily and submit ourselves to Him. We hope and pray that this message strengthens your relationship with Christ.
This week we kick off a new series titled "I Believe". This is an annual series at Ridge in which we study our core beliefs as followers of Christ. In this fallen world, it is essential that we know exactly what we stand for and why we stand for it. We pray that this message encourages you and strengthens your faith in Christ.
In week 3, Pastor Leroy lays out some practical ways we can build our faith as Christians. We pray that this message would encourage you and give you steps to growing in your relationship with God.
In week two of our Accept or Decline series Pastor Leroy continues to look at the story of Elisha and Elijah in the book of 2 Kings. Follow along as we see an example of a Biblical figure laying down their life in order to serve in God's Kingdom. We hope that this message gives you a better understanding of God's will for your life.
This past weekend we kicked off a brand new series, "Accept or Decline?" This series will center on our calling as Christians. More specifically, who are we called to be as Christians? Follow along with Pastor Leroy as he introduces what he'll teach for the next couple of weeks. We hope and pray this series will provide you with clarity and a greater understanding of the God we serve.
This week we wrap up our Soundtracks series and we are ending in the book of James. Follow along with us as we read from the book of James on how we are to be doers of the word and not simply listeners. It is no good to hear the word of God and not apply it to our lives. We pray that this message would encourage you to apply the principles of the Bible to your life. We hope that you consider getting involved with Ridge Church through volunteering or joining a small group!
This week we are continuing our Soundtracks series. And we are in the book of Philippians again this week looking at what Paul wrote to the church when he was in prison. Follow along with us as Pastor Trip discusses how we can reframe our circumstances and view life the way God intended us to. We are so thankful for all God is doing in and through Ridge Church right now. If you do not have a church home of your own we would love to hear from you and how we can better serve you!
This week we are continuing our Soundtracks series in which Pastor Trip details three practical ways to combat negative soundtracks in our minds. Follow along in Philippians 4 to hear from God's word where we are reminded of how to deal with our thought life. We hope and pray that God will use this sermon in your life.
We are so excited to have Pastor Trip back this week teaching. And we are so glad to be kicking off a brand new series titled "Soundtracks." This series will remind us as Christians not to conform to the patterns of this world but, to be transformed by Christ. We hope and pray God would use this series in your life to teach you more about himself and we hope you gain a more profound knowledge of Him.
We are so glad to be back together, worshiping and hearing God's Word. This Sunday we got to hear a stand-alone message from Pastor Leroy on the importance of gathering together as the church. We are the body of Christ and it is important to gather together as one body serving Christ. We hope and pray that this message encourages you in this new year.
Happy Thanksgiving Ridge Family! We hope that you were able to spend plenty of time with family this week and to give thanks for all that God has done for you. Our message this week centers around Paul's letter to the Galatians in which we find instruction on how to carry ourselves as Christians. And we pray as we continue through the holiday season that we would "Not become weary in doing good."
In week 4 of our series, Resist the Rush we get to hear something a little bit different than weeks before. We are so honored to have Jeff and Vanessa Royal, who are plugged into Ridge Church share how God has changed their lives over the past few years. We get to hear how God has placed it on their hearts to prioritize biblical rest in a rushed and hurried world.
This is week one when of our series Resist The Rush. Pastor Leroy will be teaching this series. He will give us a biblical view of rest and emphasize how important rest is in a fallen world. God created rest and intended for us to rest in him. In a world that never seems to rest, we hope and pray that this series will give you practical steps toward Godly rest.
This is week 3 of our series Resist the Rush. In this message, Pastor Leroy continues to expound on the idea of Biblical Rest and the importance of the sabbath in our lives as believers. We pray for God to use this message in your life and that you would have a better knowledge of Him after listening to it.
We are in week 2 of our series "Resist The Rush." This week it's all about finding proper rest in Christ. Like in Matthew 11:28-30 in which Christ instructs us to give our burdens to Him. We must take on Christ because his load is light and easier to carry. We pray that as you go throughout your week, you will be intentional in finding ways to rest in Christ.
Our FINAL sermon in "It's Love that Wrote the Play" series. In this series we've been looking at the big picture of scripture and praying for God to help us better understand His Word. Becasue, most important is God's story of redemption that began in the Garden of Eden. We pray that this series has helped you in your relationship with God, and he has used this series to make you more knowledgeable about his redemptive plan for the world.
This week we are in part 4 of our current series. We are praying for God to use this series, in all of our lives, to refresh and renew our love for His word and the overarching story that the Bible tells. We hope that this message gives you a deeper understanding of God and His sovereignty in this difficult world we live in.
This week we are in part three of our current series. We continue to look at the story of Jacob in the book of Genesis. By studying this story, we continue to learn about God's providence and sovereignty in His redemptive story for His people. We pray that God would reveal himself to you through this message and that you would know Him more.

This week we continue our series "It's Love That Wrote the Play" with Pastor Leroy's teaching. In this message, pastor Leroy discusses the attributes of God's call on our lives as Christians and the Promises He has made to Christians in His word. We hope that God uses this teaching in your life so that you may know him better and be more like his son Jesus.

This week we are kicking off a brand new series titled "It's Love That Wrote The Play." This is an excellent time to tune in and catch up if you missed it in person. In this first week, we look at the story of creation in Genesis to set the foundation for the following weeks. We hope that God uses this message in your life and you are able to grow closer to Him after hearing the truth preached in this message.

In part two of our newest series, we look at the 4th gospel, the book of John. We look there to see how early believers invited others to come and see Jesus the Messiah. In our current fallen world, it's more important than ever to invite others to come and see Jesus. And even more important, we should invite others to see Jesus in our lives. And we continually pray for others to see Jesus and to trust them in their own lives. For Jesus is the hope of the world. We hope and pray that God use this message for His purpose in your life.

Today we are kicking off a brand new series about what the Church is all about. "The Church is the hope of the World." Many of us wholeheartedly believe in that statement, but for others, that statement doesn't ring so true. We won't dive too deep into that this first week, but rather we look back as to why was the Church gathering in the first place. And we turn to the book of Acts to answer that question. We hope and pray that God would use this message for His purpose in your life.
This week we are honored to have Pastor Jared sharing a message during this season of Summer Together. Pastor Jared walks us through John 3:25-30 in which there was a dispute between the Jews and John's disciples about purification. In this passage, John tells them that he is not Christ but he was sent before him. In this way, John the Baptist was sent to point to Christ's coming. And in the same way, we are sent to point others to Christ and His second coming.
There is no new series this week with the church being online only next week as we celebrate July 4th. This week Pastor Trip is teaching on our call as Christians to be influencers and witnesses of the Gospel to this World. There are practical ways to convey what we believe and know is true to influence those around us. We hope that this message gives you ways that you can be a disciple-maker for Christ in your everyday world.
This week we are ending our series "Whistle While You Wait." We hope and pray that this series has strengthened your relationship with Christ and that God has used this series in your life. Know that God is with you no matter what you might be waiting for or holding onto. He was with you in the bad and he is with you in the good. Just as he was with Joseph when his brothers sold him into slavery and the same when he gained a position of power.
This week we are continuing in our series following Joseph's life in Genisis. Last week we posed the question "What are you waiting for?" with the idea that we are always waiting for things and circumstances to change in our life, then our life will improve. And when opportunities that have the potential to change our life, come our way we tend to compromise our faith in order to get what we think will make our life better. But, our lives usually get better according to our standards and not God's. In all things, we should pray for God's providence and sovereignty to take precedent over what we want.
This week we are kicking off a brand new series called "Whistle While You Wait." The foundational scripture is Genesis 37-50 with the story of Joseph being sold into slavery by his own brothers. In life, we do a lot of waiting - and it feels like we are always waiting on our circumstances to change in order for our life to get better. So, the question to ponder today is "What are you waiting for?" Know that in your waiting God is with you, and you can trust that He will always be with you.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend Ridge Family! As this series comes to a close we hope and pray that you have a better understanding of what it means to be a part of a local church. God's plan for you as a local church member goes far beyond what happens on a Sunday morning.
This week we are continuing in Part 3 of our series "Brick By Brick" with Pastor Leroy continuing to answer the question of what it means to be a part of the Local Church. God commands us in John 13 to love one another as God has loved us. And in Ephesians 4 we are called to bear one another in love, and to eagerly maintain the unity of the Spirit. And that is our answer for this week - "To be part of the local church is to be zealous about maintaining unity and peace in the church."
This week Pastor Leroy is teaching as we continue in our series Brick By Brick. We are continuing to look at Gods' Word to answer the question about what it really means to be a part of the local church. This week we take a look at Ephesians 2:10 to give us a better picture of what the church is and our purpose. We also look at Ephesians 1:3-5 to remind us of our individual purpose within the local church. Pastor Leroy leaves us with one central thought to the question - we are to remember and remind one another what Christ has done for us.
This week we are kicking off a brand new series called "Brick By Brick." Our hope for this first week is to shed light on what role we play in our local church. Pastor Trip does this by looking at the early church in the book of Acts. As Christians, we are the heartbeat of the local church. God has called all of us to serve a unique role based on the skills and experiences that God has placed in our life. We hope that this first message reminds you and inspires to be involved in the Church.
This week we are closing out our series "The 47 Day Question." We are so thankful for all that God has taught us through this series and we hope that you have grown in your knowledge of what real faith looks like. This week signifies the end of our series but our hope is that it is not the end of your faith Journey. When Jesus was getting ready to leave this earth, he told his disciples that He would be with them forever. He sent his spirit to be with them and to walk with them. And He does the same for us. The Holy Spirit is with us every moment guiding and leading our steps.
This week we are continuing our series "The 47 Day Question" with part 3 being all about Faith. Faith is a crucial part of our relationship with God. Faith is how we express our dependence on God. We hope and pray that this message helps you to better understand your faith and what it means in your relationship with your heavenly Father. We pray that you put your faith in our Good Father.
Happy Easter Ridge Family! We are so thankful to serve a risen King who has saved us from our sins. This week we continue in our series "The 47 Day Question" in which Pastor Trip gives us the only question that matters. And that question is "Who is Jesus?" Jesus is our resurrected King who defeated death and sins on our behalf. When we make that question our focus, we can begin to have faith in Jesus knowing that we've answered the only question that matters. We hope and pray that this message gives you better knowledge of who Jesus is.
Happy Palm Sunday Ridge Family! We are so excited to be kicking off a brand new series called "The 47 Day Question". In this first message, Pastor Trip lays the foundation for the following weeks by reminding us of the importance of asking questions and looking for answers when it comes to our faith. We don't have to have all the answers and we don't have to ask all the questions but we can never stop seeking Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We hope and pray that you will join us next week for Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of our Heavenly King.
This week, we are wrapping up our series "I Believe" with the last part of the Trinity - The Holy Spirit. Pastor Trip calls on us to ask the question, "How can you be filled with the Holy Spirit, and yet nothing in your life really changes?" I think we all have asked that question before in our lives and of other people. Pastor Trip directs us to the book of Galatians for our answer in which Paul instructs us to ALLOW the Holy Spirit to guide our lives. Our prayer is that you would daily surrender your life to Holy Spirit so you may experience true freedom in Jesus.
This week we are continuing in our series "I Believe" where we are learning more about one of our core beliefs - The Trinity. This week pastor Trip takes us through the problem of our sin and what the Bible says about the 'problem' we have and how the Bible says to fix it. The Bible tells us that the Son, who is a part of the Trinity came to this earth to die on a cross so that our sin would be defeated along with death. We hope and pray that this message gives you the knowledge and helps you to draw closer to God.
This week we are continuing through our series "I Believe" with Pastor Trip taking us through the story of the Prodigal Son. The Prodigal Son is one that we are all familiar with but we may not fully understand the impact that the story has on our lives. The Prodigal Son reminds us of how good our heavenly Father is and how we can never earn the grace He freely gives us.
This week we kicked off a brand new series called "I Believe." In this series, we will be looking in-depth at what we believe as Christians and how those beliefs impact our day-to-day life. Our prayer is that this series would help you better understand your faith and give you the courage to proclaim it to others.
This week Pastor Leroy is wrapping up our series "Inside Insight." We have enjoyed his teaching these past few weeks. We hope and pray that this series has encouraged examining what's on the inside and ensuring that it matches what God's word says. This week Pastor Leroy is examining our fleshly tendency to be greedy. He walks us through Luke 12, in which Jesus tells a parable of a man who put his possessions over God, which we all have done at some point. We hope that God uses this message to help you reexamine the possessions he has given you and how to steward them well on this earth.
This week, Pastor Leroy is continuing to lead us in our series "Inside Insight." This week we look intently at the passage Luke 18:9-14, in which Jesus tells a parable of two men going to pray at the temple. One man was a Pharisee and one was a tax collector. The Pharisee prayed with pride, thanking God that he was not as sinful as other people. While the Tax collector asked God to humble him for he was a sinner. We hope that Pastor Leroy's teaching on the passage will encourage you and bring to light any pride in your heart you may have been unaware of.
This week we are continuing to look at matters of our hearts. As followers, it is important to examine the condition of our heart and make sure that it is aligned with God's Word. Pastor Leroy reminds us that our outward behavior is directly linked to the condition of our hearts. We tend to modify our behavior around others to hide what is truly on the inside. Eventually, our true nature comes out and one thing we can do is have a heart of mercy like we are told in Ephesians. Paul tells the church in Ephesus to get rid of all anger, bitterness, slander, rage, and brawling. We are to FORGIVE one another as God has forgiven us through Christ.
This week we are continuing our series "Inside Insight" and are in the book of Matthew. We are looking at a parable Jesus taught on what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. The parable teaches that a man on a journey entrusted his wealth to three of his servants. Two of the servants went and multiplied the wealth. While the last servant hid his bag of gold in the ground. Doing so caused his master to become angry with him. In the same way, God has entrusted us with His Kingdom here on earth and it is our responsibility to spread the Kingdom to all people. We hope and pray that this message encourages you and strengthens you.
This week we are kicking off a brand new series called "Inside Insight." In this series, we will be thinking about our tendency to focus on our external appearances, external situations, and how they tend to take priority over the internal condition of our soul. Jesus taught that it is not what goes into our body that defiles us, but what comes from our heart that truly shows who we are. We pray that this message encourages and strengthens you. We love you Ridge Family.
We are wrapping up the month of January and wrapping up our current series "Grow With the Flow." This week we are looking at an important scripture in Mark 8:34-36 where Jesus is teaching on the importance of taking up His Cross and giving up our life for the sake of the gospel. We can grow and press forward all we want but if we are not daily surrendering ourselves to Christ we will ultimately lose in the end. We hope and pray that this message encourages you and strengthens you. Come back next week as we kick off a brand new series!
This week we are continuing in our series "Grow With the Flow." This week Pastor Trip is continuing to look at the life of the apostle Peter and his tendency to butt heads with Jesus. Peter was very confident and assertive in his ability - sometimes to his detriment. We too can fall victim to this. That's why it is so important to reflect and become more aware of our actions. One of the best ways to foster that self-awareness is to study God's word and discover who we are truly supposed to be. We hope and pray that this message encourages you and motivates you to be more like Christ.
We are so excited for another week in God's word and to be able to share with you what the Bible teaches. This week we are continuing to exam the life of Peter and his Ministry. We look closely at a passage in Galatians 2:11-13 where Paul confronts Peter's Hypocritical behavior towards Gentiles. Paul was a friend who confronted Peter with harsh, but loving truth. Those are the kind of believers that we need in our life. Then we can truly grow to be more like Christ.
We pray that God would speak to you through His word and that you would seek him out in the Word. We love you Ridge Family.
We are excited for another week of teaching in our series "Grow With the Flow" where we are studying the life of Peter. This week Pastor Trip walks us through the difference between knowing everything about Jesus and becoming more like Jesus. Immediate life change takes place when we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior. But, that's not the end of our walk. It's only the beginning of an ongoing process that we'll be in until eternity. Following and becoming like Jesus is a process that causes us to grow. We hope and pray that this message would encourage you and give you strength.
Heavenly Peace is a phrase that we are very familiar with, especially during this time of the year. This week in part 3 of our Christmas series, Pastor Trip is teaching specifically on this well-known phrase and how we can acquire the heavenly peace that the Bible promises us. In order to attain true peace, we must look to Jesus and realize that true heavenly peace is not attainable without him. We hope and pray that you would be able to find peace this Christmas season through our savior Jesus Christ.
Today we are in part two of our series, "Christmas Delivered" with Pastor Trip teaching from Luke 1 on the miracle that God performed through Zechariah and Elizabeth who were amazed when an Angel came to them, telling them they would give birth to a son and they would call him John. They didn't know what to do other than to ask how that would happen. And a lot of times we do the same thing. Instead of asking how - we should start saying wow at all the things God has done in our lives.
This is the season of hope – delivered to us through our savior Jesus Christ. The world can deliver us gifts and material things but it can’t deliver eternal hope to our lives. That can only be found through God’s greatest gift to us. We hope and pray that this series would touch your heart and that
This week we were honored to hear a message from Josh Roberie. Josh has been apart of Ridge church for years serving us through ARC. His message is a reminder that we don't have to have an outgoing personality or be an expert in everything that Bible says in order to share our faith. We simply just have to share how God has transformed our lives and invite others to begin seeing how God can transform theirs. We pray that this message would encourage you and challenge you to share your faith this Holiday Season.
This week we are wrapping up our series "Somewhere we Know But Haven't Been." Pastor Leroy reminds us that the hope of heaven encourages us to serve God's kingdom on earth. While we wait patiently on our Savior's return, it is our mission to serve and love those around us the way that Jesus loved us. It is our prayer that this message and this series would have an impact on your life and help you to love Christ more.
This week we are continuing our series, "Somewhere We Know But Haven't Been" with Pastor Leroy continuing his teaching on Heaven. Last week Pastor Leroy reminded us of how heaven will be like a new earth and God will redeem His broken creation. In this week's message, we are reminded that God will renew our purpose in Heaven. We will continually glorify God without the hindrance of our flesh and the sin that lingers in it.
This week we started a new series on heaven titled "Somewhere we know but haven't been," and we are so excited for all that God is going to teach us through this series. Pastor Leroy is teaching this series on Heaven and this week he challenges us to imagine what Heaven will be like. And reminds us that God gives all that we need in His word to imagine and heaven and to look forward to the day we will enter heaven.
This week we are ending our series "If You Could Write the World." We are so thankful for all that God has done through this message. This week Pastor Trip teaches about the life that we are called to live as followers as Jesus. We are called to a life of holiness and righteousness. How we respond to that calling will determine where we will spend eternity and how others will remember us when we leave this earth. We hope and pray that this message will challenge you and encourage you to follow the calling of Jesus.
In part 3 of our series, "If You Could Write the World," Pastor Trip encourages us to think about how we want to spend our time on earth. The Lord teaches that our days are numbered so it's important how we choose to spend them. In our hustle-driven culture, it's easy to neglect our faith as well as those we love. Christ calls us to walk a different path. We hope and pray that this message would encourage you in your faith.
This week we are continuing our series "If You Could Write the World" and continuing to think about our lives as a letter that we are continuously writing. Pastor Trip's message centers on the wealth that we accumulate on earth and how it impacts our legacy. He reminds us that it doesn't matter how much wealth we have or how much we accumulate. It's about what we do with the wealth that will determine the legacy we leave behind. We hope and pray that this message will challenge you and help you to grow in your faith.
This week Pastor Trip is kicking off a new series and we are so excited for what the Lord is going to teach us in the upcoming weeks! In this first message, Pastor Trip preaches the idea that our life is a letter. And we get to choose how we write our letters each day. Are we going to write a letter that glorifies God or are we going to choose to write as the World does, focusing on the short-term and immediate gratification? We hope and pray that this message challenges you to pause and think about what you want your letter to say.
This week we are in part three of our series "His Name Is John." Pastor Trip challenges us as a church and as children of God to push through the seasons of doubt and questioning when it feels like God is absent or distant. Pastor Trip encourages through the scripture that God is always with us and is always working. We hope and pray that this message reminds you of that truth and enables you to grow in your faith.
Happy 8 Years, Ridge Church family! This week, Pastor Trip continues his series "His Name Is John," which is all about Pride and Humility. Pastor Trip reminds us of how detrimental the sin of pride is to our lives and our relationships. When our hearts are full of pride, we can't indeed be the Church that Jesus has called us to be. Instead, we must genuinely humble ourselves, remembering that we play only a part in God's plan that is so much bigger than us.
This week, Pastor Trip is kicking off a brand new series called "His Name Is John." We are so excited about what this series has in store for our church. If you ever miss a message, make sure to listen to the podcast or catch up on the Youtube channel or the Church Website.
We hope this new series will encourage you in your faith, and we pray that it will bring about transformation in your life.
This week Pastor Trip is wrapping up our series "Fringe Benefits," and he challenges us to think about what we really want. What do we really want in our lives, in our relationships with others, in our marriage, in our job, but most importantly, what do we want from our relationship with Jesus? Do we only seek Jesus for the 'benefits' and what we can get right now? Inevitably, that will never lead us to what we REALLY want. However, Jesus will reign for eternity, and He calls us to look beyond what we want now to see what God WANTS for our lives.
In part 3 of Fringe Benefits, Pastor Leroy encourages us to think about the question, "how do we avoid getting lost in the fringe?" In our world and culture today, it is so easy to focus on how Jesus can benefit us right here and now and we lose site of our eternity. We forget about our greatest need - Jesus and how we must surrender ourselves to Him. Pastor Leroy spurrs us to take heart because the grace of God covers our multitude of sin so that we can freely enter into a right relationship with Him. We hope that this message will encourage you this week to repent and return to your Heavenly Father who loves you.
In part II of our series "Fringe Benefits," Pastor Trip asks the question, is Jesus really enough? He challenges us to evaluate our faith and where it truly lies. Is our faith solely in Jesus and who He is? Or have we built our life on shaky and conditional faith and only on what Jesus can do for our lives?
We are excited to be kicking off our new series "Fringe Benefits" with Pastor Trip's message "The Real Target". In his message, Pastor Trip encourages us not to focus only on the benefits of following Jesus. But, rather our real target should be to follow Jesus regardless of the benefits because Jesus didn't pay the price for our sins only for us to have a happy life on earth.
In the second and final part of our mini series Transformation - Pastor Trip reminds us that transformation is a process that can't be rushed. Transformation is a process that takes place among believers encouraging and admonishing one another along the road to living a life transformed by Biblical Values.
In this weeks message, lead pastor Trip Healey is back with us sharing his recent experience in the Dominican Republic and the transformation taking place there thanks to John Maxwell. Pastor Trip gives us three practical things that we can do to transform the lives around us and the communities we live in.
Ending our annual series Summer Together we get to hear from three special members of our team at Ridge. Pastor Leroy, Pastor Jared, and Rebecca Healey dive into Ridge Church's mission work on a local, national, and international level - giving us a clear vision of how God intends to use us as the hands and feet of His Church.
In part III of our series "Summer Together", Pastor Scott Lawrence reminds us who we are created to be as Christians. He also reminds us that Jesus gives us the POWER to be who He created us to be. And we're left with three commands:
Encounter Jesus. Find Belonging. Impact Lives.
Summer is full of vacations, day trips, and relaxation. Don't let the busy-ness of summer isolate you. Let's do Summer Together.

We're in a battle every day. Where do we get the courage from to be able to hold the line?
We see scripture everywhere. T-shirts. Walls. Bumperstickers. It can be easy to read something and not truly know what it means. The truth is often found in the context.

We all go through difficult seasons. Sometimes we lose hope but because of Jesus, we can dare to hope.
Some Bible stories are so familiar that we don't even realize their significance. Our God is the God who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one. He makes dead things alive. What was once lost, is now found.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2 NIV)

Even when it seemed darkness had won, there was a light that made a way. Death's grip was defeated. Darkness was overcome. There was hope. Celebrate Easter together.
Seek more. Serve more. Pray more. Invest more. When it comes to your relationship with God, there's more for you.

It's supposed to be happily ever after, but it doesn't always feel that way. Marriage is hard, the good news is that it doesn't have to be.

As Pastor Trip casts vision for 2021, he reminds us that no matter what changes in the world, when it comes to God and his plans, nothing ever changes.
Life is a fight. We all get hit. We all get knocked down. What matters most is how we respond.

2020 has been a difficult year. We're all tired, we all feel as if we're running on empty. We need to recharge, but we have to make sure that we're plugged into the right power source.
The birth of Jesus was and is good news. Join us as we celebrate the light of the world coming into the world at Christmas In Wetumpka.
The Gospel is called the "good news", but not everyone sees it that way. What is the good news, and what makes it good?

2020 has looked different for everyone. We all have our own stories and our own perspectives, but we can also all learn from each other. What has 2020 taught you? How has God been moving in your life? Let's open our eyes to really see 2020.
Celebrating all God has done in and through Ridge Church over the past 7 years! The best is yet to come!
The Church was never meant to be defined by a gathering. The Church isn't what we do, it's who we are. No matter what happens, God's message will continue to spread. We are the Church.

Even in a season where we can’t meet as the church, we can still be the church. Wherever Summer 2020 takes you, don’t do it alone. Let’s do Summer Together!
The mission is foundational, so the model has to be adaptable, because change is inevitable. The best model for the church is to be the church.
We all wear masks. Different emotional masks, different personalities for different situations. What it we took off the mask? What if we realized that all we have is all that God needs or wants from us?
We are all in relationships. Friends, parents, kids, couples. We all want to be right, but what if we didn't settle for being right? What if instead, we fought to make things right between us?

With each rising of the sun, you get stronger, braver and bolder. You've got a flame. You've got a God who moves mountains. A God who defeats death. A God who breaks chains. A God who strikes down giants.

When it comes to Jesus, you can either crown him or crucify him, there's no middle ground. We must all ask ourselves the same question that Pontius Pilate asked himself, "What shall I do, then, with Jesus?"
The Gospel's can feel disconnected. Separate stories that are difficult to put together. What if they're really broken pieces preserving a greater promise?

As fears of COVID-19 spread, Pastor Trip reminds us that we're not to live in fear. Uncertainty is inevitable. Fear is optional. God is in control.

Sharing Jesus with someone can be uncomfortable. Sometimes it feels flaky...sometimes it feels scary...but most the time it's just awkward.
