These past few months have demonstrated the importance of educating yourself and advocating for what you believe in. I think that when you travel, you should not stay at a hotel. This is because staying at a hotel doesn't grant the same depth of cultural experience as staying in an apartment or a family members house does. In my experience, hotels have failed to provide a unique travel experience, whereas these private lodgings do.
