Why be neurotypical when you can be you? Probably because society says “That people should not judge and accept the real you.” That sounds amazing, unfortunately the harsh reality is that society CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH! Just kidding, more that the majority don’t accept people who are wired differently. These people are usually referred to as “The Misunderstood.” This podcast brings to light that the struggle gets real and sometimes the best way to deal is to make humor out of it until you’re ready to learn from your experiences. Hope this podcast is a combination of enlightening and funny.
This is another episode from my previous podcast when I started it back in 2020! I was told numerous times, “Sam 2020 is going to be your year.” All I have to say to that is LIES, but I’ll make it work with what I got even if it’s not much.
Even though I do like the song by Future, I am talking about the ones we wear when we don’t want to show our true self. To summarize this talk BEING YOUR TRUE SELF IS ENOUGH 💞
So the past couple months have been pretty crazy so until I finish my new episode here are some from my previous podcast skulls and unicorns. Enjoy!
This podcast tells you the story of how eating dark chocolate almonds helped me find my iPhone. A perfect example of the types of stories I will be sharing from here on out. Also talk about a real life event that took place recently. When life changes drastically, I like to refer to it as a Plot Twist. They can be both good and bad plot twists. In this case, it’s a twist that can be hard to talk about. I’m sharing it because my goal is to spread mental health awareness and how serious it can be. If talking about depression and suicidal ideation is triggering for you, skip after the My Life is a Joke story and go straight to hear a glimpse of what it’s like when sober people go out! Yes we still like to go out sober and yes we’re still fun lol. If you have a story you want me to share on my podcast please email me at mylifeisajokefr@gmail.com.
This episode is from my previous podcast and talks about my lovely bed setup I had before I got my dog Lotus and awesome insight from my friend Saddie.
This podcast includes great conversations, plot twists, my dog Lotus interrupting, and my side comments. Plus you will learn a couple of my diagnoses that make me ME.
