How do we punish our children even as we bring them up? Is there a trickle down effect on how you're raising your children from how you grew up? I put down my opinions on punishment while parenting our young ones. Different individuals have diff opinions on it and it's OK but what does it boil down to? I know I want all-rounded disciplined happy and thriving children. How about you?

Enjoy listening to our special guest Grace Kariuki as she sheds light on this state of being and most of what revolves around the act of self harming or body cutting. She helps us understand why certain people resolve to this kind of act to release the distress they are going through.

No matter the pain; physical, Emotional, psychological, mental or soul pain/distress, just know it's not there to stay forever. There will always be a season coming, and you'll bounce back and the scars left will remind you that you were put to test and you came out stronger and with more zeal for life.

In this episode I talk on how I realised the importance of holding on to life no matter the pit you may find yourself in.... No matter how bent you are, no matter how bent I found myself to be, spring back for the sake of good old dear life.

I think and believe that there shouldn't be any shame in admitting when you find you're slacking, when you find you're struggling with what should otherwise be so natural to you... Why? Because we're humans and once in a while in this journey of life, we get stuck, we slow down sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. I'm reminded that through it all, we were born to be real not perfect! Even when you get into that space where it's not feeling right, what do you do about it? Do you ruffle yourself up and start again, do you change how certain things have been? Don't be afraid to feel this way and actually be in that place, rather be afraid of doing absolutely nothing to revamp yourself.

Our special guest the ODDacity Mentor Wairimu Kahoro-Kanyi answers some of our questions and affirms us of the fact that we are ENOUGH! She tickles the brain on different levels letting us know that it's not that the grass is always greener on the other side, but we can do our own watering of our own garden or grass and have that blossom and flourish. Don't self sabotage instead be your own cheerleader. You are ENOUGH!
