Johan is working as the Chief Revenue Officer in NAILBITER (at the time of this recording).

Many things were going well for Johan; he started his first 6 years of his career as a brand marketer in 2 of the biggest FMCGs in Belgium - Danone & Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABInBev). He learnt alot, and when tested he proved himself capable by winning a start up competition held by Nokia, which began his life as a start up founder.

But here is where the fairy tale ends.

His start up had to weather the 2008 financial crisis, and learn to scale up rapidly. It was the latter that killed the start's premature 5 year life.

He then worked in eyeka by InSites Consulting as the Global Business Director Co-Creation before landing in Affinova, Inc as a Vice President Strategic Account Development Asia Pacific. He was promoted to Senior Vice President before Affinova was acquired by Nielsen where he will spend the next 5 and a half years working as the Managing Director across different markets from Singapore to Europe.

It was then that he met his colleagues back from Affinova Inc. where he learnt that they are starting a new company NAILBITER.

Today we'll learn the incredible details behind his LinkedIn, and the through of sorrow along the way.

Juntong was certain that he wanted to do finance growing up.

I mean, why else would he have applied to every single finance internship he could find, before University (that's right BEFORE university).

And why else would he chase an OCBC commodities summer analyst, and specialise in finance in University.

But a chance encounter with a mentor in that very OCBC internship sowed the seeds for his pivot into Tech. What followed was more serendipity; applying to Grab as a Business Intern for Grab Financial Group, and then as a Business Intern in Google.

He was converted, but his story joining Google was a roller-coaster of company reorg that had him retrenched, and rehired all in a span of 90 days.

This is the true story behind all his pivots, behind his LinkedIn that eventually lead him to be a Google Account Manager (at the time of this recording).

Tune in to learn - Tips & Tricks that work for him from resume, cover letter & interviews to enter Google.

Justin is working as an Expert Partner in Bain & Company (at the time of this recording).

Justin was always interested in consulting, in fact in his final year in University he was certain that the big 3 consulting companies was his dream.

You might think he had a smooth journey since he is in Bain & Company now, but that took 17 years of work.

In fact he didn't make it to consulting upon graduating, and was rejected by every consulting firm there is.

He started in MLC Limited as an Advertising Campaign Manager, before moving to Young & Rubicam as a Business Manager. After, he really cut his teeth in marketing/advertising in Wunderman where he left as a Regional Account Director. He moved to LinkedIn for a quick stint before entering Facebook. In Facebook he supercharged his learning again, and left as an industry head - CPG, Retail, Travel, Financial Services, Media and Entertainment.

That was when he entered Bain & Company as a Vice President, APAC Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Practice Head. In just 2 years he was promoted as 1 of 2 Expert Partner in Bain & Company.

Today we'll learn the intimate details behind his LinkedIn, and the heartbreaks along the way.

Dylan is working as the VP of HR in Adidas (at the time of this recording).

Despite being a dean's list graduate he decided to work in a fairly obscure company - The Swiss Management Forum Singapore.

His priority was to learn, and after which he went to The Fullerton Hotel & The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, before entering Starwood.

From there he had a brief stint in The Lo & Behold Group before entering Sephora as the Regional Human resources Director. He left Sephora as the VP of HR in South East Asia & Pacific before making it to Adidas as the VP of Human Resources.

While it seemed almost incredibly easy for him to make industry pivots, it was anything but. He learnt it the hard way, when he couldn't find an opening to pivot even as the head of HR in Starwood.

Today we'll learn the intimate details behind his LinkedIn.

And for those of you considering if Adidas is the right place for you - you should know that Adidas has been in the Top-5 -companies-to-work-in-list for many years.
