Hey friends! My name is Sarah Smith and I like to call myself a Stay At Home Mom? Yeah Right! I’m a married mother of three (and a dog!) and a homemaker who rarely finds herself at home! I’m sure my fellow stay-at-home moms out there can relate. On this podcast I will be speaking candidly with my fellow parents and non-parents alike about the ups and downs and ins and outs of their personal journeys. Join me as we connect and converse about the highs and lows of being a parent, or (as the case may be) for whatever reason having never been a parent. Together we will learn all about how our guests were parented and how they parent - because every parent can stand to learn and a thing or two, am I right? And of course we will delve into the duties of the most under-appreciated member of the workforce - the stay-at-home moms! So please check us out every week for fun, honest, thought-provoking, challenging, and occasionally difficult conversations about the best "hood" there is - the parenthood.

Jackie Fowler-Lewis helps at-risk youth break the cycle that they come from by helping them find their self-worth and develop an understanding that though life has dealt them a bad hand, they can live life to the fullest. Jackie was in the foster care system from the age of 6 until the age of 16 when he was adopted. His foster mother was told that he would either end up in jail or dead. Both he and his foster mother believed otherwise and that’s what they set out to do. He firmly believes that even when life is rough, you are obligated to pick up the pieces of what you have and build upon that. Fast forward to today, Jackie has 4 books to his name, a family whom he is devoted to (3 kids!) and has raised over $27,000 for charity. His family is in the process of moving to Texas and he still speaks to his foster mum every day.
On the podcast we chatted about:
-Jackie's story of growing up in the foster care system from the age of 6 to 16.
-His hope for the foster care system.
-How he was able to pick up his life and move on after spending so much time in foster care.

Kendra Cole is a mom of three kids, wife, IVF warrior and CEO of The CryptoMom App (https://www.thecryptomom.app), a cryptocurrency investment platform designed for those who identify as women and moms.
As a mom to two daughters, her mission is to empower the next generation of female investors to leverage cryptocurrency as part of their wealth-building journey. She created The CryptoMom App after realizing that current exchanges do not cater to the technology and lifestyle preferences of women and moms. Unlike any other investment platform that exists, her platform will allow users to buy and sell coin, allocate coin to college funds and other practical products, and give the gift of crypto for special occasions, like birthdays, graduations, and baby showers. She’s so proud that her platform has captured the attention of Amazon, who selected us to participate in its Impact Accelerator for Black Founders, a prestigious program that supports underrepresented startup founders with the goal of building a more diverse cloud.
Throughout her journey to launch, she has juggled two full-time jobs, multiple rounds of IVF, nursing a newborn, and a life-threatening sickle cell diagnosis for her daughter – all while pitching investors, securing funding, and building her startup from the ground up. Despite these trying experiences, these challenges have given her the grit, foresight and agility needed to succeed as a female founder in a heavily male-dominated tech industry.
On the podcast we chatted about:

Rob “B.F.R.E.E.” Badgett- whose name is an acronym for Be Filled Revived Empowered Everyday- is a husband, father, artist, author, entrepreneur, and speaker. Rob believes that God placed him here to create content that provokes change and empowers his audience to optimize every opportunity. By doing this, they can push past personal barriers and offsets to arrive at the quality of life they desire and deserve. When it comes to pushing past personal barriers, Rob has firsthand experience. As a divorcee and now newlywed husband, Rob learned how to dig deep into himself to discover his own flaws to produce a more successful future. Rob enjoys using his personal experience in conjunction with his relationship with God to provide knowledge and wisdom on how to access truth that revives, empowers, and frees the heart, mind, soul, and spirit. With a background in radio as a program director at Power 1410 Radio in Brockton MA, and a radio announcer on WSTL, Rob decided to create his own production company that he co-owns with his wife, Brittany, called B-Influenced Media Group; where they work with others to help create content and assist in digital media production. Hey friends!,
When God places something on your heart, there's no running from it. Here I am almost a year after God placed it on my heart to start a podcast. My name is Sarah Smith, your new friend, and the Stay At Home Mom? Yeah Right! In this podcast I will be chatting with others as we share our life and journey with you. There is no manual on how to do life but there are others who will be sharing theirs here on this podcast. It is my prayer that you'll like what you hear and someday join me on my podcast.
xoxo
