Have you ever lost something? We all lose or misplace things, but one thing we never want to lose is our sensitivity to what is right and wrong.
In California, many citrus growers will graft and orange or a grapefruit onto a lemon stalk and produce many types of fruit from one stalk. What a perfect picture of Galatians 5:22-23.
When we compare ourselves to others, especially in what God does for us, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment and this does not come from God, but from the enemy of God. Seek what God has for you and don't try to duplicate what you see others doing.

So what's the final word on repentance and salvation. We will take a closer look at what God has said, but here is a hint. His love is greater than anything you can come up with to over come it.
It is a huge pet peeve of mine when people try to throw piety in as a condition of salvation. That's a kingdom issue, not a salvation issue.

But God stopped me and forced me, yes FORCED me, to contemplate the pain I would cause others. Especially my kids. So I did. I didn't do it and now will never contemplate it ever again. We live in a fast food world. We have been trained to get things immediately. Credit checks now take seconds instead of days. Movies can be seen the day of release and not in theatres. But there is amazing beauty in waiting on God and in this episode we explore how long God waited to fulfill one promise. Be glad you don't have to wait as long as that promise.

Onward to Philippians 3 beginning with verse 13. Onward, not looking behind. That is what Paul teaches us. Too many of us live with regrets. Sure, we make mistakes, but we should not live with Regret. God wants us to move forward to the prize of being like Jesus. No looking back.
Many times we listen to what we are taught or we think we know what the Bible says and may miss something, even if we read it multiple times. It's important to read carefully because we may miss out on something. The Bible is alive and God will help us come to a better understanding of it if we let Him. The Bible speaks of angels in 34 of the 66 books. That's over half of the books of the Bible. Yet, we tend to shy away from things we don't know alot about. I believe it is time to start acknowledging the amount of importance angels play in our lives. We will talk about that today, on Bible Time.

We all have things in our lives that can be pruned. When we no longer are producing fruit, it means we have somehow become disconnected from the true vine. God will prune us, not to harm us, but to help us grow.

Hebrews refers to Jesus as a mediator. A mediator goes between the judge and the defendant and pleads the case to the judge. That's what Jesus is for us. But this mediator brings with Him a great promise. We no longer have to be scorned and feel bad for our sins because we can rest assured Jesus has paid the full price for us. Bible Time 93, as we creep up on the monumental 100th episode of Bible Time, I want to remind everyone of the importance of Love. That four letter word that we all claim to know and have, yet so many speak for God and have not love. We turn to 1 Corinthians 13 for Paul's reminder that if I have the gift of prophecy and all the knowledge of the world but have not love, I am nothing.
I recount a personal story and an item I recently saw and facebook in this "loving" gentle reminder that we need to let God work through us in Love.

Taking a question from a long-time listener, Phil tackles the tough question of "Does God send Jesus into our lives at an appointed time."
Exodus 20:7 - The Third Commandment. We need to be careful when we "take" or "Carry" the name of God. We are representatives of God and when we call on HIm, we need to be careful how we "use" his name and I am not talking about cussing. Tune in for more.
In Job 1:8-9, God tells satan to consider Job. Satan says "Oh yeah, sure, He trusts you because you protect him." That raises the question of do we follow God because of what He gives us or because of Who He is to for us?
Hebrews 10:25 has been used by many people to try to drive up church attendance, but what does this verse really mean? Should it be used to make people feel bad for missing a day of church?
Turning to Matthew 7:3-5 for a look at why Jesus spoke the words about taking the plank out of our own eyes before we focus on the speck in our brother's eye, the conversation turns to how we need to let God be God and we should focus on our own relationship with Him instead of what is wrong with everyone else.
God told us the end from the beginning. In Isaiah 48, He implores His people to return to Him and that cry goes out in 2021 as well.
