The Listening to One Another podcast series is created by the Listening to One Another to Grow Strong program (LTOA).
LTOA is a strength-based, community-driven and culturally adapted program for Indigenous families and youth. The program is a collaboration between First Nations Communities across Canada and research teams based out of McGill University.
The Listening to One Another podcast series aims to inspire and grow the LTOA program’s community of practice and integrate the perspectives and experiences of LTOA community partners.

In this first episode, Nicole, Tristan, and Caroline have a conversation with Katelynn Macleod-Luymes, Katie MacEachern, and Elder Mary-Louise Bernard about cultural adaptation in the LTOA program.
Katelynn and Katie work for the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq Mental Wellness team (CMMNS) and have worked over the past year to culturally adapt the LTOAprogram to the Mi’kmaq community.
