I have spent most of my life in leadership roles and have become fascinated by the ways in which people inspire others. During Lockdown I have seen some of the best and worst examples of Leadership in my lifetime and feel it is essential that the next generation of leaders can learn by these examples. I am delighted to share my brand new podcast; The Leadership Club, (produced by my own organisation Artz Centre) in which I will be talking to some of the most inspiring people that I have met throughout my life. I hope that their stories, their ideas and their tangible leadership examples can help inspire the leaders of tomorrow. #TLC
This week on The Leadership Club Podcast is the inspiring Grace Vella. The founder of MISS KICK talks to her former mentor and host Mark about her life as a footballer, her transition into the world of business and her vision for the future of woman in sport.
This month Mark sits down with the head of Lathom High School to discuss her perspective on the education system and the challenges faced by teachers and students alike. Plus Jane describes her own story of leading in a school during a global pandemic.
In This episode of The Leadership Club Podcast as Mark talks to fellow creative, Katie Whitehead about her career and the inspiration behind her business Divine Days. www.divinedays.co.uk
Katie talks about the moment of injustice she felt when her younger sister Rachael was turned way from a dance class as a child because she had Down’s Syndrome. It was this moment that ignited Katie’s passion for change and the catalyst for Katie’s inspiring Leadership journey.
In this first episode I talk to my good friend and fellow entrepreneur Daniel Ezzatvar. Dan has risen to the top of his game in the fields of Marketing and Construction and like me is a Skelmersdale lad. We talk about mindset and the importance of building relationships, Dan also explains his views on education, setting goals and the benefits of contributing to your own community.
I think the underlying message of the episode is understanding that before you are in a position to help others, you first must get to work on yourself.
