TalkABILITY Podcast 💬🎙🗨

TalkABILITY is an exciting new podcast all about disability, you can expect to hear about the concerns held and problems faced by disabled people. More than that however, we want to bring attention to the most important campaigns, the activists and the individual experiences we can all learn from and relate to in our own ways. Your hosts will be Robert, an inclusion and equality focused Blind Guide Dog owner of "DivaRetrieva" Winnie. Alongside Kieran, a man with Cerebral Palsy who is better defined by two other words "party animal" and lets absolutely nothing stand in his way. Both are keen campaigners, activists and ambassadors, who are excited to welcome you on what promises to be a positive journey full of interesting personalities.

The history of Guide Dogs UK all started with two pioneers of their time, Rosamund Bond and Muriel Crooke, this innovating duo were trailblazers enabling the UK to join the European phenomenon of training dogs to guide the blind.

They began the first training program with only four furry friends; Flash, Folly, Judy and Meta, who were trained in a lockup in The Wirral in 1931.
