Keren has been studying yoga for over 20 years and teaching for the past 15 years. She continues to study with a variety of senior teachers at any opportunity but her main focus now is her two babies, Cyclone Frank and Falmouth Yoga Space. Keren is a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance UK and delivers vinyasa teacher training each year as well as teaching a variety of classes every week. This podcast is for all the students she left behind in Australia, for those who can't come to class as regular as they would like and those she has yet to meet! A short and sweet practice to wake the body up for the day ahead when you are short on time
Join me for a class with almost no weigh bearing (one down dog) so great if you are recovering from any shoulder or wrist stuff! We do however work the core and glutes well. Excuse the chaos and laughter and my mixing of left and rights and just have fun!
A string but fun focused class with a lot of visits to chair pose and a lot of laughter
Join me for a hatha class leading to lizard pose variations. You'll hear me offering options to one student who is unable to invert at the moment, so we stripped out downdog and there are limited vinyasas in the class
Join me for a short 30 min flow from my hotel room to help relieve tension in the shoulders
Join me for strong but simple class leading to a peak pose - bakasana (cross pose). Lots of options for all levels. Let me know how you go!
Join me for a stabilising yoga class focusing on hip strengthening and opening with a little chat about tantra to lead us in
general level class to build strength and flexibility - excuse the tears at the end as I read from my favourite book!
A fun and uplifting class working towards correct alignment in half moon pose. We come to half moon with partners in the class but if working at home, use the wall or just practice for a few moments in the middle of the room. Maybe challenge yourself to bring the hands to the heart!
A fun general level Dharma themed flow to warm our bones during these cold November days (don't worry my Southern Hemisphere friends, this class will work for you too!)
As the weather gets cooler, it's a good time to find some inner warmth. Join me for this fun (i hope) class playing with traditional sun sals and including some body conditioning moves
A general level vinyasa class that will hopefully warm you up but keep you grounded - has a balance focus
My first class back after ankle surgery! Excuse the left from right battle and enjoy a hatha class to bring balance to body and mind
A general level strengthening yoga class focused on opening the shoulders and building strength in our foundations. Expect to break a sweat
New day, new sequence! Wake up for a new day with a simple flow focusing on engaging the core to fine balance
A gentle class finding the union between breath and body and focusing on some gentle yet much needed shoulder opening
Join me for a very warming, stabilising flow focused on strength in the legs and leading to a little challenging balance flow
A warming twisty yoga class to bring energy into the body. We work towards fallen triangle and revolved half moon.
After the Easter break and maybe some delicious over indulgence, join me for a gentle movement focused class to get all our joints and limbs moving for the week ahead
A gentle class to wake the body up for the day ahead, all movements are slow, steady and focused on supporting a healthy lower back
Join me for a gentle (ish) class working on balance of brain, body and breath. We do of course visit a few balance poses but also look at some other ways to balance the body including a little meditation, lovely savasana and stay for a beautiful poem
We start the class with a little Lakshmi story and the symbolism of the Lotus Flower before moving into a core strengthening and hip opening class to help us release any stored gunk in our hips
A steady paced class leading to peak pose - baby grasshopper. A block is useful but not essential
