On February 3, 2016, the Miami-Dade County Grand Jury filed a report asserting misuse of CRA funding. As a result, house and senate bills have been filed in the last two legislative sessions with the intent of modifying CRA governing statues responding to the report.
This year’s bills HB17 and SB432 have significant effects on the CRAs in Florida.
