This is probably my favorite episode yet! Heres why....I have said many times, a lot of people would rather die than be quarantined with their family. That's a sad but true fact.
I will admit we are unique. With parents who have been married for 40 years and a sister duo that is reality TV worthy, our family represents what's possible when you have humor, faith, commitment and love at the center of your life. We also have an unbreakable common thread that is weaved throughout this interview. It's available to anyone that is seeking an unshakeable foundation for your life and your relationships. All those details are in this episode. If you can relate to any of the following, you should DEFINITELY listen to this!
Do you believe it's impossible to be quarantined with your family and actually have fun?
Are you struggling with the quarantine because of challenging relationship dynamics?
Are you an introvert, quarantined with others or an extrovert quarantined alone?
Do you need some love and laughter, a new perspective or some inspiring insight?
Do you believe it's impossible to have a healthy and loving family, NO MATTER WHAT challenges you face?
If you answered "YES" to any of these, I promise this will be worth your time. I'm praying it blesses you beyond belief.
It's the spring of 2020. Most of us are asking if we can "unplug" 2020, wait 10 seconds and try it again. From the fires in Australia, to the death of Kobe Bryant and now the COVID-19 pandemic, this year has been heavy, sad, challenging and scary. Most of all, however, I would say it has been a year of soul searching and a time for all of us to consider what REALLY matters. As we continue to learn how to navigate this new world that we live in, it is critical for us to be aware of what's available. Instead of being paralyzed by what we don't have, what we don't know and the fear that is palpable in the atmosphere, let's learn how to be laser focused on creating MAGIC!
Today's episode of the Fit Fabulous Forgiven podcast, is a powerful interview with the Co-Founder and Chief Co-Creation Officer of UNBLINDED. We discuss 3 steps to create magic (anything you want that to be) in the midst of madness. What better time than now?...
Timeline of the episode:
0:25 seconds - Intro of Fernando and the backstory of how he met Sean Calgary
9 min - Unblinded origin and success they’ve created in just a few months and even during Covid-19
11 min - I share my tips to create magic in times of madness
13 min - Fernando shares his 3 steps to making magic in the midst of madness and tangible action steps on how to implement them

We are all in need at this time, and if you aren't consider yourself very blessed. For those of us who find ourselves without work and thinking about the future and all of the unknowns it includes, now is a good time to think back to time when God has provided in the past. It's a great time to get outside of our heads and take action with helping others. I think most of us believe the old saying "what goes around comes around" or many bible verses that talk about reaping what you sow. If you are struggling financially, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
I believe that if we can use this time to create solutions, support each other and see our blessings in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be better people and blessed beyond measure because of it. I hope you'll join me in giving in times of need.
In this episode, I share 3 steps you can take to easy your financial anxiety and live with a mindset that provides peace and stability in the midst of the unknowns. In addition, I share, what I hope is, an inspiring story about a time where God provided above and beyond what I was expecting, as well as some verses that will help you see the power in giving and trusting God with your finances.

Nutrition is something I've always been fascinated by and something I really love teaching! I love that we can change not only our physical body but also our emotional and even spiritual "body" by the foods we eat. Food is everything! You are what you eat. Choose wisely!

Change is inevitable. The only things that are guaranteed in life are change and death. Both can be exciting, depending on your belief system, but that’s a conversation for another day. For now, let’s learn how to make change fun since we’re all staring it directly in the face and it’s a necessary part of life, growth and progress.

Other things I mentioned in the podcast that I am doing are reading The 5 AM Club. Game changer for sure. And I am STILL doing Whole30, 21 days strong. I feel incredible and I'm convinced that a great place to start making changes in your life is with the foods/drinks you put in your body.
With the current events taking place around the globe, this is a great opportunity for us to consider our purpose and what we were created for. Today's episode is created to love, encourage and move you to be part of the solution, not the problem. "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind." 1 Timothy 1:7
In today's episode I discuss how evaluating the time you spend creating vs consuming on social media can have a big impact on your mental health and in turn, your life.
Episode references:
Moment App-tracks how much time you spend on your phone, each app and has a coach to give you suggestions on how to get off your phone and back to your life.

Don't you love love? This is a quick but powerful episode on ways to consider how to have more love in your life and spread it to people around you!
Would you agree that time is one of the most valuable resources? What would you do with an extra hour, or 2, in your day?!?!
Would you read? Pray? Exercise? Spend time with loved ones? Be more creative/productive?
What would you be willing to sacrifice to have that extra time? A few hours of sleep perhaps?
In this episode, I share why I started waking up at 5 AM, what I've learned so far and why you should join me!
Book Reference: The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma
It's been an emotional week. Thinking about the reality of death and the frailty of life is a great way to get you to consider how you spend your time and how you use your words. In this episode, I challenge you to join me in a taking action in honor of Kobe Bryant and the others who died in the sudden tragedy on Jan 26.
How could God let this happen? A question I have asked myself a lot over the last few years and many many times after hearing the horrific news yesterday about the helicopter crash carrying 9 precious humans 2 being Kobe Bryant and his 13 year-old daughter. Events like this cause us all to ask hard questions. Today I explore those in hopes of bringing hope to your hurting and questioning heart.
Breaking up can be hard to do but if you have the right perspective and awareness, it can be a really beautiful and powerful experience! In today's episode, I share some some of my experience with "break-ups" last year and hope to leave you inspired to walk away from people and environments that are no longer serving you.
Embracing the unknown (with excitement) is a critical skill in all aspects of life. Learning how to be ok with not knowing what the future holds is something I find incredibly challenging and freeing at the same time. As I learn to surrender trying to control my life, I invite you to see if this skill positively impacts your life as well. And if you're taking on the challenge of #nogoals2020, this is a necessity!
Is it completely absurd to be Goal Free for a year?!? What does it look like to have no goals? How could that positively impact your life? Listen to this episode to find out!
I would guess that from Oct-Dec. the average person gains about 5-7 lbs. The sad reality is, that sets people back and extra month from achieving the goal they set for themselves in January. Today's episode to help you avoid gaining weight and even lose weight during this season of parties, food, alcohol and stress. These are tips and tricks I use myself to maintain my health during this time of year.
Are you concerned about signs of aging under your eyes? Dark circles, look tired all the time, wrinkles? Today's episode addressing ways of preventing and correcting these very common issues.
If you struggle with feeling satisfied instead of just temporarily full, this episode is for you.
In this episode, I share the wisdom I am learning about not being so focused on the end goal but enjoying the journey along the way. The journey isn't always rainbows and fairytales but the struggles often provide great insight to help us become who God designed us to be. If you're like me and you find it challenging to take your eyes off the future to focus more on the present, you are in the right place. I pray this provides you with encouragement and inspiration on how to do just that.
