We conclude our journey through Matthew in the Different Sermon Series. We're wrapping up with one of the most well-known-and most world-changing-passages in all of Scripture: Matthew 28:16-20. This message is more than just a conclusion. It's an invitation: to examine, to encounter, and maybe even to begin again.
We celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus! This message in our "Garden to Garden" series will take us to an empty tomb in a garden. In the first garden - Eden, Adam fell and caused the disruption of life and the invasion of death. But, in the garden of the empty tomb, Jesus rose and caused the disruption of death and the invasion of life! In one garden, all was lost but in another, all was gained! Join us as we celebrate our risen LORD!
Join us as our journey through Matthew's Gospel brings us to the crucifixion of Jesus. Discover the profound intersection of humanity's deepest sin and God's ultimate glory, a moment where justice and mercy meet. Just as eyewitnesses recognized Jesus as the Son of God, you are invited to see who God truly is at the cross and embrace the forgiveness, salvation, and personal relationship with God that only Jesus can provide.
We SERVE because....1. we are supernaturally connected2. we need each other3. we have a role
We explore the most important question you'll ever face. In Matthew 27, Pilate is confronted with the question: What will I do with Jesus? It's the question we all must answer. Don't miss this opportunity to consider your answer to the question that truly matters.
This sermon will examine the tragic end of Judas, "Ruined by Regret." You don't have to take your regrets to the grave. Instead, take them to the One who conquered the grave - Jesus Christ our Living Hope!
Failure, Forgiveness, and a Fresh Start. Like Peter in Matthew 26, we will all fail in some way as followers of Jesus. But God is faithful and in Jesus we are offered forgiveness and a fresh start!
Garden to Garden 2We dive into Matthew 26 and take a look at: "The Most Backward Day in History." We've all had days when things seem to go in the opposite way that we thought they should. But no day was ever more "backward" than the day Jesus was betrayed. What appeared to be a tragedy-the betrayal in the Garden of Gethsemane and the events that followed-was actually part of God's sovereign plan to rescue sinners and restore creation.
Garden to Garden: Part 1We begin to journey with Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane where He was pressed out in sorrow, to the Garden Tomb where He was raised up in victory. In Gethsemane, Jesus faced immense pressure, and the way He endured it not only paved the way for His saving work on the cross but also serves as a powerful example for us in navigating life's most challenging moments.”http://yourgracelife.com/resources
"Failures, Faithfulness, and the Power to Change."Epic failures. We've all experienced them. In Matthew 26 the stage is set for those closest to Jesus to epically fail Him. But the good news is that Jesus is always faithful and ready to provide grace to forgive and power to transform our lives.
In the final hours of Jesus' life, He transforms the meaning of the Passover meal, moving from an old covenant based on law to a new covenant rooted in grace. This change signifies a profound shift in our relationship with God, where the focus is no longer on outward obedience but on the transformation of the heart through faith in Jesus. The symbols of the bread and wine during the Lord’s Supper represent Jesus' body and blood, emphasizing His sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins and the establishment of a covenant accessible to all humanity. As believers, we are called to remember and celebrate this new covenant until Christ's return, recognizing that true transformation comes from trusting in Him rather than our own efforts.
Plant your life at the foot of the cross. Preach the message of the cross over and over to yourself.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life no one comes to my Father but by me.”
Look around today – opportunities abound for you to live this day just like Jesus – Different!
In Matthew 20 Jesus is out front, leading the way, marching to Jerusalem to give us victory over death.
Life isn’t alwasy fair. But God is – in fact He’s better than fair. He is generous and merciful and gracious.
What we gain in eternity is so much more and so much better than anything we could ever have in this life.
When you truly understand what Jesus went through to forgive you, you will have no other choice but to forgive others!
Because what Jesus has done – because the Bread of Life was broken for us on the cross, God has opened His home to us.
If you’ve got storm stories of how Jesus showed up in your life then you know a little something about what that worship was like in the boat early that morning as the sun started breaking over that beautiful east side of the Galilee.
When we refuse to believe God:1. We minimize the major.2. We magnify the minor.3. We miss the miraculous.

Pastor Joel shares an update to the church family and prepares us for the New Beginnings starting Sunday, September 13, 2020.
The Power, Prosperity, Abominations, Persecutions, Explanation, and Destruction of the Harlot
Our victory stands on the Word of God, sings about the work of God, and celebrates the wrath of God.
Chapter 14 is a preview of the end including a familiar sight, faithful men, final warnings, future reward, and final harvests.
The False Prophet of The Tribulation will exhibit a deceptive personality, entice the world with demonic power, and enforce dictatorial policies.
The Antichrist will be a reflection of Satan in human form, a representation of the kingdoms of the earth, a recipient of Satan’s power, position, and prominence, and a revered world leader. The Antichrist will deify Satan, will denounce God’s name, God’s dwelling, and God’s people, will seek to destroy all Christians, and will come to dominate the world.
The four main characters of the tribulation are the woman, a great red dragon, the male Child, and Michael the archangel.
In chapter 11, there is one important place and two important people. We see their authority, activity, identity, death, and resurrection.
The judgment of God is unstoppable, is global, is mysterious, has arrived, and is bittersweet.
When God’s people pray together, miracles are multiplied and God’s purposes are accelerated.
Only those who have trusted in the shed blood of Jesus, trusted God to be their shelter, and trusted Jesus to be their shepherd can stand before a holy God.
Jesus is in control of all things including “The Tribulation”. Jesus will save anyone who calls on Him in faith and repentance. Today is the Day of Salvation.
Jesus admonishes hearts that have drifted, minds that have been deceived, bodies that have been defiled, and churches that have become spiritually dead or shamelessly indifferent.
Jesus applauds a church that works hard for God, doesn't quit on God, walks by the Word of God, and wants glory for the name of God.
