Today's dominant narrative says Europe’s democracy is in retreat. The challenges are real – past generations saw democracy’s promises of liberty and prosperity deliver mixed results. But that isn’t the whole story. Throughout Europe, young leaders give voice to democracy’s impact in their day-to-day work. To elevate these voices, the International Republican Institute and National Democratic Institute launched the European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN) – a coalition of political and civic leaders, ages 18-32, with a shared commitment to democratic principles
