Fresh from the activity of Free Comic Book Day the guys talk about all the doings at Aw Yeah Comics grand opening. Yoko Chips has found crazy old kids records that were adaptations ogf the Planet Of The Apes films. Artie was honored by his former college as an Outstanding Alumnus and hasn't taken his sash off since the ceremony. Franco was shocked to learn that the tanning woman's news story has gone beyond it's New Jersey beginnings , which leads to a whole discussion of other currrent event stories.
Cartoonist Jamie Cosley joins the guys, while Yoko Chips puts his Clark Kent glasses to use and tries to hunt down a news story. Jamie brought his guitar and sings while he talks about his characters and old times with Art & Franco.
Then Dr Zauis and Garry Marshall show up half way into the show to enjoy some new calls from the hotline, including several from Haas.
The guys are still buzzing over their C2E2 experiences. Yoko got rolled for his iPhone, and nearly lost his life at the hands of WWF wrestler Virgil Art and Franco talk about fellow creator encnounters, meeting Shia Labouf and their artist alley line being longer than Val Kilmer's (true story) . We're back! It was a nutty November for Yoko Chips, so he apologizes for the delay of new episodes.
This was recorded right after episode 11, which features a big time guest. We were ready to say goodnight, when the guys wanted to record an episode with just the three of us. Franco's voice was shot, and he had to get up for work in 5 hours, but he sucked it up while Artie buzzed on his usual gallon of Red Bull and Yoko Sun Chips had nothing better to do.
We talked while Art drew new characters for Super Pets, and looked up some forgotten super animals from the DC silver age. Franco was worried about having tickets for the troubled Spider Man musical. This prompted us to talk about the 1960's Superman musical .
