Bruce Figler Executive Director for the Festival was kind enough to join me Saturday (3/28/20) to discuss the plans, and talk about the festival's history.
This 15-minute video should provide you with some info and a few laughs on a dreary day.
Spoiler Alert: There was a very special surprise guest who was making soup in the kitchen, and needed an explanation about the science project I left in the refrigerator! ;-)
Show #129 is the final show for Jacque's Giant Music Show on Pawling Public Radio on the Beat of the Valley. We had 4 wonderful years and now I will move onto new music projects. This show introduces John Burton, a singer-songwriter who will take over the Thursday night hour and continue introducing the outstanding talent in the Hudson Valley Region. In this hour John and I (mostly I) talk about music, his music, his interests,. challenges and what John plans to do with the new show. Thankfully, I had a few other guests who reminded me to ask John to perform instudio. And that's a treat! His intriguing melodies and heart-tugging lyrics, will hold you there for "just one more"!
Show #128 is a lotta original music and not a lot of talking. It contains spins of original music performed by indie singer songwriters:
Show #7 is a classic from 2016! My guest for the one-hour interview was Robert C Fullerton, an original songwriter based in CT. He was a great guest, with a unique approach to songwriting, song title selection and performance. Such a gentleman and full of great stories! Some other topics we touched on include, his next album project and his approach to social media. Robert had just started telling us about his "famous" relative, a founding citizen of Newburgh, NY when we ran out of time! We need a second interview! I hope you enjoy!
