A Text-to-speech reading of "Benjamin Franklin and the First Balloons" from 1907. While in France in the 1780s, Ben Franklin was a spectator for many of the very first balloon flights in history. He was fascinated by the technical details of these experiments, and his letters on the subject are reproduced here.
Please forgive some mangling of the pronunciations :-)
