Grateful for heartbreak:

Heartbreak has been a blessing in my life. Had I not had my heart broken more than a couple of times, there is so much I wouldn’t have or wouldn’t be.

You see, heartbreak has enabled me to have an incredibly deep relationship with God. It has taught me to wrestle well, to make a choice to still trust God deeply, believe he is good and that His timing is perfect even though it seems impossible.

Heartbreak has enabled me to connect to people deeply. I have some of the most dearest friends today because they met me in my pain and held my hand during the pain.

Heartbreak has taught me that there is a time to wrestle and cry out to God and a time to quit wrestling and surrender.

Heartbreak has taught me to live for today and loves the season God has given me and truly live life to its fullest.

Heartbreak has encouraged me to dig into the Bible and find characters I truly connect with- the likes of Hannah and David.

And finally, through trying to understand ‘why’ my journey is the way it is: if it’s for God’s glory and to help others in their journey and through disappointments, then that’s good enough for me.

Grateful for the journey, the lessons and the perspective He has given me.❤️
